Amazing experience! I was given undivided attention when I went for my appointment. We tried on about 4 dresses and finally ended up saying yes to the dress. I will say, be prepared to pay 1/2 of the cost at the time you select your dress. We also ordered bridesmaids dresses from here. I wont be able to post pictures of my gorgeous wedding gown, but here are some others.

It was a great experience! We loved how attentive and just how detailed oriented all around she was. Definitely recommend! Found THE dress, veil, belt & headband. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! Very talkative & humble.

Elizabeth was so much help, she got my dress alterations perfect after just one fitting. She was so kind, and immensely helpful. She helped me pack my gown to fit into my carry on along with two veils, and my hangers. She was very helpful the entire way, from the moment I walked in to the time I left with my dress. If you are having a destination wedding, or want your dress done right the first time please don’t hesitate to visit her store. Her entire staff is helpful and attentive. If I ever have any need for alterations for anything in the future it will be here.

I was set on getting my dress at David’s Bridal because the prices I had seen at bridal boutiques were so far out of my price range. Then I found Brides by Elizabeth! Theresa was so helpful from the very beginning and understood my vision for my wedding dress. She found the perfect dress for me! I got so many compliments on my wedding dress and nobody could believe how affordable the price was!! The dress was amazing quality! I loved coming into the boutique to talk with Theresa. Teresa was a great host, very patient, made us feel very welcomed. Had amazing dresses and ideas for us... We made a appointment so all way private which i loved the most. I came in as a last minute walk in with a specific look in mind. I showed teressa 3 pictures of my ideal look and she found me an AMAZING dress within minutes!! Was so sweet and helpful with impeccable costumer service. She even included my 3 yr old niece in everything, pulled her a few crowns to try on to feel like a princess!! So so sweet! Nita (seamstress) altered my dress the same day and did an incredible job!!! All in i walked in at 1030am, found a dress in 30minutes and came back at 5 to pick up my stunning altered wedding dress!!! I couldn’t be happier! I honestly can’t recommend this place more, customer service went above and beyond! Teressa is well experienced with 30yrs in the business :)Only showed me dresses to match my taste and budget which i greatly appreciated.So grateful for these amazing ladies!!

This review is WAY overdue, but I highly recommend this store!!!!Teresa is AMAZING!!! I found my dress in June 2019! I was supposed to get married June 2020, but it was postponed to June 2021 due to COVID!Teresa has been in contact with me the whole time!!!Not only do they sell beautiful dresses and jewelry, she also does alterations!!! So it is a one-stop shop!!!She customized my dress and veil, and even after all this time, I am still in love with my dress!!!I moved to Florida, but my bridesmaids still live in San Antonio! She is taking care of alterations for my bridesmaids! She will also be altering my sister’s bridesmaids’ dresses, even though they had to be purchased in Florida!!She is so sweet and dependable!! I don’t have to worry!!On a side note, one of my bridesmaids got diagnosed with cancer, and she gave her free jewelry to cheer her up!!!Go to this store, because Teresa CARES and will make your big day and process WONDERFUL!!

Such a lovely shop with so many unique dresses to choose from. I got my wedding gown here, as well as my maid of honors dress! The workers here are super informative and helpful, and they have such positive attitudes. Super professional. They will bend over backwards to make sure you feel like a princess on your big day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The selection of dresses is incredible. And the owner and staff are more than accommodating. The owner does the alterations in house so no need to shop twice! My best friend, Charissa, got her dress here then another friend of mine, Erin, did as well. They both loved the attention to detail! I can’t even begin to explain to you how impressed I am with Brides By Elizabeth! The staff is amazing and really tailor everything to your needs! The dress was even more beautiful than I could imagine and they tailored everything in store. They offer a military discount and while I was getting tailored, I was speaking to the owner and I could see the passion for what she does and what she believes in. If you are looking for someone to make promises they cant keep and to ruin what should be a joyful experience, then this is the place for you! They altered my dress using fabric that did not match, the design was going in a completely different direction, and it did not flow with the dress at all. What should have been a fun and exciting day, was nothing but disaster and heartbreak. I would not wish this on any other bride!

This shop is amazing .. I went in with not even knowing what I wanted or what looked good . Teresa was amazing she looked at me and said “I know just the dress “. She brought it back as well as a free others . Bobbie helped me try all of them and when it came time to try on the one Teresa pulled, immediately knew it was the one after trying on a few after that. Bobbie was so patient with me as I wanted to try on that dress again and within an hour I have found the one ❤️. They made every part of my experience perfect and stress free .. We had a great time at Brides by Elizabeth. It has a really cute boutique look with very affordably priced dresses. We didnt feel rushed they made my big group feel comfortable. Tons of mirrors and they work to help you get a good idea of what your dress will look like when it actually arrives!

I went to try on dresses today and Teresa was so amazing ! She let me try on anything I wanted and was happy to have fun with me and my bridesmaids! Brides by Elizabeth made the dress selection and alterations process extremely easy and fun!I went to several salons before finding the dress at Brides by Elizabeth. One of the reasons I decided to purchase my dress here was the great experience I had with the consultants and the owner, Teresa.There were plenty of different styles and designers to choose from and the accessories selection was something dreams are made of!I never felt pressured to try on dresses I didnt want to nor did I feel pressured to purchase a dress same-day. I was able to come back a couple times to try on dresses. The ladies there were understanding and patient with my indecisiveness and so sweet to work with.Theresa is a Godsend, she is incredibly talented and such a wonderful person!I will always recommend Brides by Elizabeth!

Such a great experience! My brother was originally suppose to get married in March, but due to COVID-19, it got pushed back to July. I put off getting my alterations done far too long because of the virus, but I took my bridesmaids dress in last minute for alterations, and the owner was so accommodating with my short time line (1 week). She heard my story, got me in, and gave me a great price even with it being rushed. I will definitely use this business again in the future and highly recommend it.

I came in very last minute on the day of the wedding because we forgot the ring pillow and there were nearly no options and I want to say that this shop went way above and beyond to help us. A real blessing to have stopped by.

My entire experience with Brides By Elizabeth was amazing. Dezi helped me looked for the dress of my dreams. she was extremely patient with me. She asked what I was looking for and found several options for me to try on. I would highly recommend this place. I also had a little time with the seamstress and she was just as nice and playful when it came to making the experience a memory.

Our first visit was positive, Bobbie was excellent! My sweet daughter found her yes dress & everything was great until I had to suggest we go elsewhere for alterations because of the high qoute. Miss Teresa disposition changed drastically, even treated my daughter disrespectfully at a fitting. Truly hurt my heart, but we turned our situation around at a different store. No one can steal our joy, best of luck!

Brides by Elizabeth is truly the best Wedding Dress shop in San Antonio. I went to every shop in San Antonio, tried on 83 dresses (so I have definitely been around the block with this) and I loved everything Brides by Elizabeth was by far! Let me explain why I feel this way, most shops will have you go through their dresses and you pick out the ones you want and then you go into a room and you try on your dresses (and make sure you bring help because many places won’t help you unless you practically beg). This is not the experience in Brides by Elizabeth. First of all, the place is beautiful. The fitting room is huge and there is tons of space for your group to sit comfortably and the area is very pretty and light and covered in mirrors. Then, they listen to you, they find the dresses you might be interested in and they help you get into your dress while your entourage sits comfortably in their waiting area with great mirrors to get the best views. They really take the customer service and the excitement of trying on your wedding dress to the next level and make it the experience you hope for. Might I add, the dresses are very reasonably priced, so you won’t have the stress of trying on a dress and worrying if it’s in your price range. They also offer amazing prices on their alterations and schedule all your fitting appointments based on your needs. Brides by Elizabeth is truly a one of a kind shop and I am so proud to be a Bride by Elizabeth 

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing! My attendant was so sweet and helpful (Im kicking myself for forgetting her name). The gowns are classic and beautiful. I knew Id found The Dress within 15 minutes. We went back later that day to officially pick it. I tried it back on and it was just as magical as the first time. The owner (also incredibly sweet) put a mirror in front of me and had me ring their big bell since I found The Dress. The owner even picked out my veil! This place is so amazing and they really want every bride to feel beautiful.

Went today for alterations. Although I need the dress in only three weeks, they were more than willing to take on the challenge. I feel so relieved! And the women there were very friendly! I took my baby with me and she was getting fussy. They let me nurse her in a private relaxing room to calm her down. ALSO, I was going for a bridesmaid fitting BUT I will definitely come back for my future wedding dress. They all looked BEAUTIFUL!

Today was AMAZING ! I have been searching for my wedding dress and was discouraged with the previous vendor I worked with. When I walked in to brides by Elizabeth I was immediately greeted and assisted. I was not sure what style or designer I’d like and within 10 min. I had four amazing dresses to try on. I was able to take my time and was assisted with each dress I tried on. All dresses were breath taking and despite the fact I was just searching, I was able to say “yes to the dress!” . I am now super excited and can not wait thanks to the help !

Brides by Elizabeth is awesome! Teresa and her staff are wonderful to work with. They take the time to work with you and make you feel special. The place is roomy and they have a great setup. Although, I did not buy my dress from the boutique, I definitely knew I would go back to get my dress alterations since I received excellent service while looking for a dress. My bridesmaids did purchase their dresses from the boutique and they were super happy with the selections compared to other boutiques. I highly recommend anyone who wants great service and on a price budget to visit Brides by Elizabeth.

If you are one for organization, feeling comfortable and superb customer service... DO NOT come to this store!I came to Brides By Elizabeth because of the great reviews I read. Unfortunately, I cannot add to those reviews. I brought my dress and was told that I would get a phone call when it arrived in the store. They didn’t call me, instead I had to call the store myself... multiple times. The consultants also order the wrong lace for a matching jacket I ordered with the dress. I paid extra for a rush shipping and the order was completely wrong so I had to wait even longer for it to come in! I also was displeased with the customer service. Speaking from personal experience, customer service should always be top priority of a business. Rather than feeling like a paying customer, the staff there made me feel bothersome. Not to mention, the owner Teresa told me that they can add my fiancé’s military name-strip to my dress, yet when I picked up the dress the name-strip was not added. It’s very disappointing and extremely frustrating to have to deal with this awful boutique. Ladies, your wedding planning is already stressful as is. Don’t let this bridal boutique make it even more so.

Let me start by saying that I love how friendly and open to help you out everyone there is!! The first day I went in I had gone to a couple of other places and I was overwhelmed by chosing my own dresses from so many gorgeous ones but to my surprise Angie asked what I wanted and my budget and she chose a great selection of dresses. Thanks to her, Alejandra and Theresa I didnt have to go out of my budget and I got my dream dress!!! They also have beautiful veils and hair pins and tiaras!! I recommend every bride gives it a try, youll love it!!

I couldnt find anything in my home town, so I called a handful of bridal boutiques in San Antonio in July. When I called Brides by Elizabeth, within minutes I heard and felt the difference of sincerity and transparency (unlike what I experienced with other shops). Alejandra and Teresa were understanding and able to work with me and my budget. I went to try on dresses with my mom and future mother-in-law, and it was such a memorble and fun experience. I found my dress at a great price and even my veil and accessories. Fast forward to now and after months of not seeing or trying on my dress, I went for my dress fitting yesterday. Teresa worked her magic and was able to show me what the dress would look like after alterations. Teresa is absolutely wonderful; she lets you know you are going to be beautiful bride and lends advice for any questions you may have on wedding planning, hairstyles/makeup, getting ready the day of (especially if youre overwhelmed like me!), etc. Overall, THE BEST customer attentiveness and service I have ever experienced in ANY business. This place is super cute. My future sister-in-law found her gown here and we had an excellent time period we do not feel rushed and the staff was really nice. After providing our budget for a wedding dress we were persuaded to go over budget by a few hundred dollars on a nice dress and accessories with a very touching push that got my daughter shedding a few tears over how beautiful her dress would be — that’s when we got hit with the Bait and Switch — the alteration charges would be another $600! Thanks for nothing but disappointment.

I went to 6 salons around San Antonio in total before coming to Brides by Elizabeth, and I AM SO glad I came here. All the other salons were lacking in customer service and/or gowns in my size and/or modern style gowns. I am 6 feet tall, size 16, and quite picky. Theresa is an absolute GEM. She helped me during my first appointment, and after explaining to her what my vision was for maybe 30 seconds she put me in a beautiful Jasmine Couture dress that ended up being my wedding dress. I tried on a few other beautiful gowns too, but that first one was IT! I brought 5 women with me and they all had a place to sit and were each welcomed as well. They had a cute #isaidyestothedress chalkboard and bell to ring too which I appreciated. They also have plenty of mirror space in both natural and indoor lighting. The overall atmosphere was one of dedication, excitement, and knowledge. The other ladies I dealt with during my fittings and cleaning/preservation were nice as well. Theresa goes the extra mile, though, and I will forever be appreciative of her! She even suggested perfect accessories which complimented my dress and made me feel gorgeous on the big day. The USAF patch sewed into my dress was also her idea and the patch came from her own husband’s uniform (he is retired)! Now THAT is customer service. This store and its staff are by far the best in the entire San Antonio area. I live in Alaska, am getting married in Pennsylvania, and bought my dress in San Antonio while I was there to visit family. My fiancé is in the military so Teresa Ashmore and I were able to bond over the military lifestyle because her spouse retired from the military. Not only did she and her staff make shopping fun and painless, they also were able to get all of my alterations finished AND packed my dress in my carry on so I could take it back to Alaska with me, all in under a week!!!!!! **Now I am going to start sounding like an infomercial** BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! Teresa was kind enough to sew in a United States Air Force patch into my dress (thats the branch my fiancé is in)... but it wasnt just any patch. It was a patch from one of her husbands old uniforms. That act of kindness meant so much to me and felt like a little piece of good luck was given to me from another military spouse who made it through 23 years of moving, deployments, and all the other struggles that come with life in the military. I spent just a few hours in the store, but left feeling like I was truly family. Shopping at Brides By Elizabeth was truly an amazing experience for my family and I. I would highly recommend going to them first when looking for your dream gown.

I had purchased my dress months ago before learning of brides by elizabeth but was still needing a cathedral lengh veil to match my dress. I called them and scheduled an appoinment were they asked me to bring the dress to ensure the veil matched. I went there and was assisted by Jennie and Teresa and they were able to help me find the perfect cathedral lengh veil that did not break the bank! I recently went back to do some alterations and to potentially get a mother of the bride dress. What stood out to me again is how how sweet and wonderful they were and how they never rushed or pressured my mom or me to pick something out. With Brides by Elizabeth you get wonderful service, good quality, and best of all a good price. Thank yall again for fixing and accessorizing my dress and making that as stress free as possible.
