After deciding to elope in a 6 week time frame I thought it was going to be very stressful trying to find a dress I loved on short notice. Not the case here! I think I booked a same day or next day appointment easily. I tried on about 5 dresses and found this one within an hour. Everyone was so nice, attentive and helped me find a dress that fit my style. Luckily I was able to find something that required minimal alterations as well, and they were able to refer me to a seamstress who could fit me in quickly. Very happy to have worked with this business :)

Appointments required. Friendly staff. Clean. Beautiful off the rack dresses to choose from. No special orders. Theres a budget dress room where they have a variety of beautiful gowns for $500 and under. Alterations are by 3rd party, info available on web site. A variety of accessories such as veils and studded bridal belts are well stocked. Dressed can be taken home w partial payment down. Small payment down will hold your dress for about 24 hours or so.Didnt give 5 stars because the staff isnt discreet about the brides budget. There are several bridal parties in the boutique and you clearly overhear what each bride is budgeted at. I found that to be tacky and could be considered insensitive to some brides.My daughter found several possible options. She ended up saying yes to a dress!! Super exciting 🍾👰

I had such a great experience, Bianca & Lisa were simply amazing in listening to what I was looking for, I never felt rushed, they both focused all their attention on me. Bianca was very patient with me and assisted me in trying on several different veils along with answering all my questions . From my initial call, to helping me find the location to purchasing my wedding veil she was very sweet and friendly. This hidden gem is decorated very cutely and you can tell these ladies love what they do, I am so glad I came across this boutique as the pricing was super reasonable. I was so happy I was able to find my ivory cathedral length veil here.

Stumbled upon this place tucked away in a petroleum building. Was about to drive off thinking I was in the wrong place. SO GLAD I DIDNT! What a wonderful find. Lisa and Bianca were absolutely amazing and clearly knew what they were doing. They got right down to business, checking my size, style, and most important of all, budget. They were honest and sincerely just wanted me to be happy with my dress. Ive been to about 8 stores in San Antonio and out of all of them, this has been my favorite. The selection is excellent, stunning dresses of all sizes. Even after I couldnt decide on the ones I tried on, Lisa went out of her way to call up all her contacts to track down the one I had my heart set on. Truly appreciated!

Something this store doesnt share with anyone else openly, unless brides are already aware is they charge you $50 holding fee for already used altered dresses. So try to avoid making appointments here prior if possible. We went to other high end stores that didnt need to charge us any fees because they were confident of their products. Also we canceled with ample of time when the perfect dress was found at Impression Bridal. But we still got charged $50. I think this is a disgusting practice. Yeah cool, the store sells used and altered dresses. I get it that some brides cant afford to buy a brand new wedding dress. But charging someone $50 fee all because they found a better dress somewhere else says alot about the quality of the business than anything else. I will always tell people to take their business somewhere else than to I do

I loved this experience. They were honest, friendly and professional and most importantly, guided me to the perfect dress...for my desire and body shape. Theyre great people and a lovely shop. I had the best time ever.

This is not a place where you can casually compare, as if you visit they expect a purchase as the constant reminder, One of a kind only so if you walk out itll likely not be here when you come back as well as seven recommendations of how they can alter any dress (of course in-house seamstress, more $$ in their pocket) to make it whatever youd like. This would be understandable if the dresses were truly steals of discounted wedding dresses - but the majority of styles and dresses I tried on there I also found similar dresses at other stores for $100-$150 less as well as online. I felt pressured and like my budget of under $500 was something to be ashamed of - do not recommend unless you want the princess feel with a princess price tag.

I recently got engaged and planning a wedding in less than 3 months, so I needed a dress quickly. I walked into I Do The Dress I Do intending to only look around because I did not have an appointment (during COVID). Lisa and her staff welcomed me in and accommodated me on the spot. They allowed me to try on dresses. I even selected my dress during that time. They allowed me to put a hold (2 days) on the dress, so I could show family that was not able to be there. The staff so was professional during the fittings. The price point is great and budget friendly.I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND I Do The Dress I Do!!!

I LOVED my dress. I had to get it altered of course but it was a REALLY close fit right there in the store. They have all sizes of dresses at this place which makes it great for non-plus size brides since most places only have plus sizes for you to try on. The price was just the cherry on top since the dress itself was exactly what I was looking for. They have very affordable options compared to other places and all the dresses are as good as new. I highly recommend.

Intimate Bridal Shop, excellent customer service. Meghan assisted me in selecting my dress. She was patient, supportive and was very attentive. The owner was kind, checked on her brides individually. She also checked in with her employees to assist when needed. She was not over bearing, and Meghan and the rest of the staff where so kind. Clean, and made sure to take all safety precautions during this pandemic. I’m a first time bride, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wasn’t rushed or brushed off. Not to mention way under my budget for a gorgeous dress. I would highly recommend this bridal shop.

I had a great experience dress shopping, I found my dress within 2 hours. I tried on 8 dresses and when my consultant said I should keep my top favorites and start eliminating or try new ones, I thought it was a good strategy. I can see why this could be stressful for some brides but I had done a lot of research, I drove from Austin, and I know what I like so I was ready to make a decision. The consultant was very willing to help me try on my top three favorites and this time I I put on accessories, making things much easier. I stayed under budget and found a unique beautiful dress :)Be open minded, be patient, stick to your instincts & budget. Highly recommend!!!

I had a really unfortunate experience here. There are some really beautiful dresses at pretty good prices, but you can easily find similar prices at other shops. The real issue was with the way the staff interacted with my best friend. She is the bride, to be married in a few months, and she gave birth to her second child three weeks ago. You’d never ever guess by looking at her that she had EVER been pregnant much less JUST given birth... she’s a size 6 dress size. Well below an average sized woman. Anyway, the woman who was assisting her in trying on dresses for some reason thought it acceptable to comment on her “pooch” ... multiple times. She commented once on my friends stomach in the dressing room saying it would “cause a problem” in trying on more dresses. And THEN she commented on it again in front of me, and my friends four year old daughter. Luckily, I don’t think the four year old heard, and my friend is confident and resilient, but if it were me I would have ran out sobbing. When shopping for a wedding dress, you should be celebrated and made to feel beautiful however you are. This was not a priority at this store. We went back to David’s bridal the next day and purchased her dress there.

I bought my dress here back in 2017 and I still love it so much! I absolutely loved what they had in stock. Everyone was so helpful and sweet! Their dresses are the perfect price (for me it was my second wedding) and the quality was great! If I needed a dress I would go back to I Do The Dress I Do for sure over and over again! I had an amazing in-shop experience and was able to find my dress that absolutely made me feel like a bride. Only issue I had was with the alterations lady Velida. I scheduled an alteration appointment with her 3 months in advance, the day I bought my dress. I had to be the one to call her to confirm the appointment was at 2pm because she had not contacted me at all regarding the appointment. I was unaware that the appointment would be at a different location than the bridal shop. Also, she informed me that she could not do the 2pm alteration appointment because she would be video chatting for a family members wedding in Europe at that time and wanted me to go to her location at 6:30 pm or 7pm that night or the next day Sunday at any time. I made an appointment for a reason because it accommodated to my schedule as the customer because Im not from San Antonio and have to drive 2+ hours to get to San Antonio. The fact that she had not contacted me and last minute told me that she couldnt do that time for me was very unprofessional. I absolutely adored the shop dont get me wrong but the preferred alterations vendor Velida made the shop look bad.

OMG best place I went to. They make everything about you. They make everything so easy and fun. Trying on so many dresses with no frustrations and they are there personally for you. Made me feel special and like a princess lol if that makes any since. I love this place. My cousin got her dress here and now me. I wish I could rate this experience more than five stars. When I first called the location, the owner answered the phone. I let her know that my wedding was VERY close (just around two months away), and that I needed something with sleeves. Every other place that I had been to made me feel like Id have to settle for something I didnt love, because of the short notice. The owner of I do the dress assured me multiple times that her staff would help me find my perfect dress, and let me tell you, she DELIVERED on that promise. My dress is absolutely stunning, and the price was unbeatable. I wish I had caught the name of the woman who was helping me get in/out of dresses, but bless her heart for dealing with my extremely difficult entourage. All of the employees, including the alterations lady Volita, were all so kind and patient. They made me feel absolutely stunning in my dress, and so confident in my decision. The way they zipped me into a dress I never thought would fit, was sorcery! I plan on recommending their location to everyone I meet who is searching for the perfect dress. The experience here is unmatched, and Im so grateful. Thank you for making me a happy bride.

Just before Christmas I had my very first (and last) appointment to start trying on wedding dresses. Lisa was ready for me and was incredibly friendly and professional. She was full of advice and suggestions and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing. I had no expectation of finding my dress and assumed that it would take at least a couple of tries before I found a dress that was perfect for me. Lisa helped me pull a few dresses from the floor and suggested that I start with whatever dress I like the most.The first dress I tried on was absolutely stunning. I continued to try on a few more dresses and eventually ended up going back and forth between two dresses. Where do I begin? This place was absolutely fantastic! Their section of dresses was very big and they have so many different kinds for every bride. Also you can’t beat the price, all the dresses there are super affordable and the environment is very very comfortable and inviting. The ladies that work there and very kind and helpful. The bride to be only spoke Spanish but they tried their best to help out and didn’t make her feel uncomfortable or anything. Nothing felt pressured, no judgmental atmosphere, just a great bridal shop with a great staff! Overall we left with a dress that she adored and very inexpensive at that :) After several stores and bridal shops we went to “I do the dress I do” was the very best and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had a great experience. I wandered in about an hour before closing thinking I wouldnt find anything but still wanted to check out the store. Im plus size and had a very specific look in mind. I told the owner what type of dress I was looking for and the name of a designer whose designed I liked but didnt come in plus size. She said she had something that was similar just in. She wasnt wrong. I found a beautiful dress that had all my must have features and for a fraction of the price I thought I would have to spend for a similar dress. Now she only has what she has so it can be hit or miss but I shot a bullseye.

I went searching for the perfect dress for a reasonable price. I was able to be worked in even though I didnt have an appointment. I knew exactly what I wanted so I was able to give a pretty good description of what I wanted. I tried only 3 dresses but the second one blew me away. I was amazed at how beautiful it was and how much it cost. It was originally an $1000 dress but it was marked 50% down. The dress was very different than I saw but it was unique. I cant wait to see how beautiful my pictures will come out along with my dress! Thanks again!

Highly highly highly recommended. Owner is super nice and honest and her worker was just as sweet. I found this place to be better than big stores that i went too. I had tried the big box stores, the tiny boutiques that passed out cards at wedding shows, and everything in between. I was getting really discouraged between either feeling just like a number or being made to feel fat even though I’m only a size 16. A friend of mine suggested I Do the Dress I Do, just based off the fact that she had purchased a dress from there years prior. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!! Within five minutes, Lisa Jo knew the vision of my wedding and told me and my maid of honor to pick out 3 dresses that we liked. It was so hard to narrow it down to just one, but I found the one I loved. The deal was done. The staff at I DO the Dress made me feel so beautiful and on top of the world. Do NOT go anywhere else if you’re looking for a dress!!!!!!

Found my dress here and I love it! Got a great deal and the owner is super helpful. The stock can be a little limited depending on your size, but they get new stuff in all the time and the prices cant be beat in SA. They also carry a ton of belts, veils, and other jewelry also at reasonable prices. The location is very central, but the building is super weird and not what youd expect for a bridal shop. Dont be deterred though - once youre actually in the shop its nice and normal.

Sometimes when reading through bad reviews you find that the owner replies offering help, or a way to make the customer feel better... Not the case here. Their replies are just as they seem, only there to try and cover up their bad customer service... Im waiting to see the comedy that comes out of their reply to this comment. All in all stay away, stay far away. Buying something cheap comes with an expensive price, and unfortunately this dress shop does not charge for customer service. My advice would be to shop around, take your time, and dont be tricked by their buy it right now deals.

I had such a great experience here today. I absolutely love and recommend this bridal boutique. I had several appts booked but came here first and my stylist paid such attention to detail that I walked out with the first dress she pulled for me. The customer service is amazing! They were so welcoming and they really know their stuff. She knew my size better than I did. I cannot say enough good things about I do the dress I do and the ladies in it. They treated my family and me so well. I felt like they were just as excited for me as my family was. My veil is to die for also and exactly what I was looking for. I walked into IdoTheDressIdo not knowing a thing about bridal dresses and walked out with a fountain of information. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Lisa is always available for any questions regarding the designers, the fabric, alterations etc. I highly recommend this Boutique to any bride looking for that perfect dress.

They try to push you into buying an old used dress for a high price. Their store is terrible. They don’t have an in store restroom, you have to go to a different floor. They don’t have mirrors in the changing rooms only in the front rooms. They don’t let you look at the dresses yourself. A sales woman has to pull everything you try on all while saying things like “okay now you pick from these two.” As if you don’t have a choice and “you have already tried on ten it’s time to choose one”. Sales and discounts only apply to your first hour appointment in order to rush your decision. The owner will jump at the opportunity to “kindly” resell your dress when you are unhappy giving you only 50% of what she says she made on it, making her a double or triple sale... who knows how many times to how many poor girls she resells the same old used dress. If this option doesn’t sound appealing in some situations she will give you store credit for a $100 fine that doesn’t apply to anything other than linings her pockets! I ended up with a used old overly priced dress that I was pressured into buying that has beads falling off and the hemline doesn’t even reach the floor... I’m 5’1”. Terrible overall experience! Save your time, money, and headaches and go anywhere else in town! Afterwards I had an amazing experience at Swan Bridal and they saved the day.Update: you can see how easily and comfortable they are with disrespecting their customers and bending the truth. My review stands and is supported by the other reviewers who unfortunately had a similar poor experience. This is a once in a lifetime experience and some find love and joy just being a part of it. This place is simply only looking for your money and will cost you much more than that in the long run. Highly do NOT recommend!!!

It was just me & my Matron of Honor in their shop for my appointment so we got plenty of one-on-one time to pick out the perfect wedding dress for me. My Matron of Honor found a dress too and at an awesome price. They were very helpful and didnt rush us at all while trying on several dresses until I picked out the dress.

Absolutely loved this place! I would definitely recommend here if youre the budget conscious bride and wants to find that perfect dress at a fraction of the price. The first dress I tried on was the one I bought, even though others I tried on were close contenders. Loved the intimate atmosphere and my dress consultant Marcella. She has a very sweet personality and never once did she make me feel like I was being rushed. Again, loved this place. You wont regret it!

Bought the first dress I tried on! Lisa is the owner and she was AMAZING!!! She knows what shes talking about and is honest, helpful, friendly...I cant say enough about how enjoyable my experience was. I got a full length lace Allure dress for under $1000. Everything is off the rack so you cant order a dress in a different size but her prices are great and she has a good selection of dresses in your size.

Came here with my mom after having a disappointing time at other bridal shops. This place was amazing! When the other shops had four dresses at the tippy top of my budget, this place had DOZENS in my price-range. I found MY dress! Then I sent a friend from work and she found HER dress too! The exterior building hides a real gem here! Dont be intimidated. Go take a look. You wont be dissatisfied.

I had an appointment here yesterday and the lady that helped us was great, very personable and nice. That is why I will rate them two stars instead of one, however one of the alterations ladies is extremely rude and belittling. The owner seemed rude to her employees. We went to Bridal Galleria and literally found a brand new dress in a fraction of the time. Small interactions go along way and make the world of a difference.

I went wedding dress shopping at about 6 different salons. This was the first one I went to and then the last. I found the perfect dress and veil plus the alterations shop they recommended in my area was great! The staff is very nice. I had great experiences here and the prices cant be beat.

Im thankful we were able to get an appointment with I Do the Dress... last minute as we ended up finding my dress here! Megan was so sweet and down-to-earth which made trying on dresses as fun and easy as it should be. This boutiques pricing was the best we saw, and everything is off the rack which was perfect for buying my dress 5 months out. Bought a dress that needed to be taken in and some notions mended/replaced. Was re-assured this would work and look fine despite my concerns of modifying the dress. True to form after taking it in I was falling out of it. Paid a lot for a dress that needed other repairs from wear and tear from people trying it on at her and another bridal salon. Spent over half the cost of the dress in repairs/seamstress. Couldnt wear the dress and needed another, 3 weeks before wedding. My fault for trusting what I knew would be an issue. Tried to sell it back after all the repairs (looking a hell of a lot better than how I bought it) and she would not give me any money back. Buyer beware. I dont recommend buying any wedding dress without a guarantee.

After finishing with a previous appointment early, I arrived at I do the Dress Do 45 minutes early and they were able to accommodate myself and my 2 friends.The women at the shop allowed us to look through through the racks and pull dresses. They also pulled several different dresses after listening to what I liked.I had an amazing experience finding and buying my dress at I Do The Dress Do and would recommend to a friend. The selection was great, the women were fantastic to work with and they were just as excited as I was when I found my dress!

I had a fabulous experience getting my dress here over a year ago. Now that Im a bridesmaid for a friend we went yesterday to look for a dress and the experience was just as easy and awesome for her. She was surprised she found something so quickly and under budget- I sure wasnt! The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable. Id recommend this place to anyone!

AMAZING! Please make sure you stop by this business if youre looking for a nice wedding dress at an amazing price! I came here with my sister and mom last weekend after stopping by one other dress shop before. We basically used the first dress shop as a way to understand the type and style of dress I wanted, then came to I Do the Dress I Do to find it at a price within my budget! Lisa was so, SO helpful and so was the consultant there (Im so sad I dont remember her name exactly, but she was so sweet!). I had one big insecurity about my body when it came to trying on dresses, and Lisa made me feel so comfortable and at ease to the point where I felt like it didnt matter at all by the time I left with my beautiful dress. Theyll even ask you if youre shy and would rather have a family member help you try on the dresses. I also love this place because they wont try to sell you anything you dont need, and they wont pressure you to go above your budget AT ALL unless youre okay with it. Thank you so much!!

Im shocked to see such good reviews. They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I would not recommend this place TO ANYONE! My sister called to set an appointment and they asked me to call so I did. When I did I was immediately rushed off the phone. I was asked to send an image of the dress I was interested in and they said they did not carry it but did not ask if I had any other interests or if I could set anappointment. Im glad other brides had a good experience but this was a fail. I hope nobody else goes through this!!!! Take your money elsewhere!

The prices were great and all the ladies really knew what they were doing. Everything was below 1K! Went shopping with my sister, she ended up getting her dress here. Owner was very sweet and helpful.

I visited I Do The Dress I Do and was VERY surprised at how many dresses they had! Id recommend this store for the budget conscious bride or a bride who is looking for a dress last minute - since you walk out with whatever dress you choose! The owner was so so smart and knowledgeable not just in the wedding gown business, but in what fits a bride and looks best. She was also VERY helpful at mentioning alterations and estimating costs! They charge $100 to hold a dress if youre not ready to make a decision (which I was fine with) but when I called back to tell them I wasnt taking the dress, the girl on the phone was very short, quick, and sounded a little annoyed. It turned me off a bit just because I had previously called a different shop to tell them I wouldnt be choosing a dress from them and they were very cordial and friendly. Thats the only reason I cant rate a full 5 stars - but I will definitely be back to this shop for a bolero or veil!

Great staff and selections

I was treated like a child, like I didn’t know what I was doing, I felt very rushed like I had to hurry and pick a dress, when I walked in the door I was greeted with “I can tell you now you won’t find the dress you want in your price range” even after explaining don’t worrry about the price range I initially said. I asked for my sister to help and the sales Associate basically made my sister feel like she was incompetent; the sales Associate made my people feel like they couldn’t express their opinions or give me options. To top it off I’m standing there in front of everyone about to say yes to the dress when the manager comes by and embarrassed me in front of everyone, explaining to me you may like this dress but reality of the situation is you can’t afford it she began to over talk me that alteration would cost a fortune not knowing that every person I had there was like we will take care of it because no one felt like they could get a word in. So I left about to cryLadies this is a once in a life time experience that you should enjoy, and with this place it was the total opposite. I do not recommend this place. Their expertise may be right but how they communicate to you is not. I normally never leave reviews but it was such a hurtful experience I had to.

Amazing selection of dresses at unbeatable prices. My fiancé and I had a short engagement, and I felt so much more comfortable buying off the rack. I LOVE my wedding dress and the experience was so much fun. The owner is a wizard. Very unlike visits to other bridal shops but in the best way. If youre intimidated by all things wedding... or maybe just by the thought of picking out a dress, go here.

I stopped by your store after calling to verify an appointment wasnt needed. The salesperson I dealt with was not friendly and made me feel awkward for being by myself. She was rude about how soon my wedding was. Before even trying on a dress, she advised I wouldnt have any time for alterations. Overall I felt very uncomfortable and wouldnt recommend this place for any first-time dress buyer.Update:It is very clear from their responses to negative reviews that they are capable of treating customers poorly. The fact that they cannot fathom any of their employees ever treating someone poorly says more about their customer service than I ever could. I am a real customer who showed up at their store and was treated like I shouldnt be there. This is my first review because I typically avoid confrontation of any sort and hadnt felt the need to post a google review on my account until now.

I bought my wedding dress here this past weekend, and i’ll start by saying i love my dress, the price was fair, and the owner seems to be great. the lady who helped me however ruined the entire experience. she didn’t want to let me try on dresses slightly over my budget. (tip: they take your budget VERY seriously. they will try to tell you no if you ask to try on anything even a couple hundred over the number you gave them, so maybe aim higher here than you would somewhere else). luckily my bridesmaids were a little pushier than me and reminded me i can try on any dress i’d like to. i just grabbed the dresses off the rack and told her i was trying them on, lol. anyways, she was very condescending (to my mom especially) when we brought up any issues we might see with each particular dress. she undermined anything we said by saying she’s done this for a long time so she knows everything. the most offensive part was that she blatantly lied about several things. she told us you are 100% not supposed to wear a bra with a dress, ever. no exceptions. well one of my friends there literally got married last month and wore a bra with her dress quite successfully. she also said that if you buy your dress from david’s bridal (because that was a store i was considering), they will FORCE you to have them do your alterations. again, my friend got married last month and could confidently deny that as true. she then lied about the price of the dress i loved. she said other stores would sell it for $2800, whereas they were just selling it for $750. immediately my bridesmaids looked at the tag and found the dress online straight from the designer for $1200. from the DESIGNER. for less than half the price this lady was throwing around. she was sooooo pushy and i absolutely hate that. she made what should’ve been a fun experience nothing but stressful. the second we left all of my bridesmaids were griping about how rude she was. had that not been the most beautiful dress i’d tried on, i would’ve left and never come back just because of her pushy and condescending attitude.but really, no hate on the store itself and couldn’t be happier with my dress. i was just very disappointed to be treated that way by this specific person. i get it’s a business and everyone wants to make money, but no one at any other store flat out lied to my face like that, or made it a pushy and stressful experience like she did.

Once again another daughter found an amazing dress at I do the dress...It was simply stunning and the staff there so helpful and friendly. I love this store!

I highly recommend this shop. I got the perfect dress for a great price. The owner was extremely helpful and patient. They have gowns from popular designers (some brand new and some pre-owned) for a fraction of the cost. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.

I cant even put into words how amazing my experience was. Living in Wyoming and planning a wedding that was in San Antonio was not easy. My wedding coordinator told me about Lisa and her shop on 23 Dec 15. I called her that day, with only 3 more days in town, and she agreed to open her shop for an appointment on Christmas Eve! I did not really know what kind of dress I wanted, but Lisa made my experience so fun and easy. I had an awful experience prior to meeting with her so I was a little nervous. Dress shopping was my favorite part of all of my wedding planning. Lisa, I will never be able to thank you enough! I LOVED my dress so much...truly amazing. I had about a week to find a dress! The owner went above and beyond to help me! She even came to her shop after hours a couple times to help me find the perfect dress for a great price! I highly recommend this shop, in fact anyone that I know in need of a dress, I am sending them here.

By far the best wedding shop I’ve been to, super great customer service! Amazing budgeting, just great shop over all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
