DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! I’m from out of town and needed a few things for my hair so I looked up beauty supply stores and found this spot. When I got inside, I got what I needed and did some extra browsing since they had so many items. The owner and some other lady were basically stalking me the entire time as if I was gonna steal. Once I was ready to check out I had the worse experience. The owner is terrible. He’s so rude, cold, and nasty. He stares you down and is extremely unprofessional. Only after I started acting cold towards him too did he want to change his attitude and tell me to have a nice day. Once I finished paying I grabbed my stuff and stormed out of there.It costs zero cents to be a decent human being to others. I thought I might have been being over dramatic about my experience but upon reading many other reviews I discovered that this happens often. This place doesn’t deserve any business.

Prices are ok on some items, took my granddaughter there to get hair for braiding. They are very well stocked but the staff was almost non existing, you basically had to help yourself. Another customer came up to me and my granddaughter to ask us a question because she said the man behind the counter was no help at all.

NEVER AGAIN!! I would give negative stars if I could. Guy kept watching me & my daughter like we were about to steal something. Then said something about some ugly headband my daughter showed me & put down. I put everything I had back! Wont be getting my dollars, I will spend elsewhere.

Great selection but I believe to be the owner was very rude. Horrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy . Very nasty

The owner is RUDE. Doesn’t wear a mask but requires it in store and wants to touch your personal belongings. I refused to let this man hold my shopping bag from another store but offered to place it where both of us could see it but did not require him to touch it. He didn’t like the compromise and refused to serve me. When I pointed out that he had no mask on and that’s why I didn’t want him touching my stuff he held one up but it wasn’t on his face so my point was only proven.

Although this place has a very great selection it’s not worth the treatment you get when you go in. Highly recommend you don’t shop here. The older Asian man who works here is especially rude barely speaks when you come in and stares you down the whole time. He mean mugged me when i walked to the counter like I did something to him. He mistreats the black lady that works there and I don’t recommend black women spend their money there. Not to mention the fact they don’t put the price on a lot of the hair...why? So you can change the price when you feel like it? Sketch. Spend your money elsewhere.

Would highly not recommend!!!! Mikaela (who is the woman who claimed to be owner, but would not spell her name) became very irate when I came to inquire about exchanging hair. She stated this was America and she can do as she wants- and furthermore asked where did I come from. The 1st time I visited this store, I also received very poor service. I’d been looking for a brand of hair; and the worker became upset that I was asking questions about what they had in stock. Although it’s very tempting to purchase from this store because of their large selection, their customer service and disrespect for the community that makes their business possible is unacceptable. A retail business is upheld by its customers; whom should be treated with appropriate respect. I would never recommend this business to anyone as they are certainly a “for profit” business- only caring about what benefits their profits. Any “owner” that acts in this manner is not only a shame, but deserves to have the BBB made aware of the way they operate their business.

There extremely over priced they have cheap clothing 40 dollars for a top that looked home made the store looks very nice tho and big but the over pricing isn’t cool and I am not even a cheapskate but i know when there’s a good deal and when there’s not

Deondra was the most helpful person ever. I have pretty much no experience buying wigs and I ended up walking out with 3 that I love ALL of them super affordable (didn’t spend more than 150). She was super informative, kind, and understanding. I WILL be returning to this store and it’ll probably be the ONLY store I go to for my hair care needs. Absolutely enjoyed this experience! This place is honestly horrible when it come to the way they treat customers. I was not greeted when I entered the store but the man stopped in his tracks to stare directly at me, when I looked up to see why he was staring at me (after about 5 seconds) he rudely asked me what I was looking for and began to walk over to me and stood right next to me, (with his mask below his chin) and wouldn’t leave even after I stated that I was just looking through the hair dye (which is just a few steps from the register) and I didn’t need help. I was probably in the store for about 3 minutes before I got uncomfortable and left. I will not be returning to either of their locations (even though me and my family frequent the other location) due to this experience.

Fully stocked, but the service was horrible. I will find somewhere else to go from now on

I love this store. Their beauty products are priced very reasonably. I shop here frequently and have never had a bad experience. Always polite and helpful. They also sell some clothing. Shelves always well stocked.

By far my favorite hair store in Richmond VA.

I like that the store is well organized and I can get in and out in less than 10 minutes but they really need to work on their customer service skills. Most of the time when I come in there theyve barely interacted with the customers unless you want weave or a wig. Their demeanor is very dry and they usually talk amongst themselves

Good selection and friendly staff who actually know what your talking about when you ask for something. Would have been fine stars if the little carts they have actually rolled. Trying to use that thing while stopping with a baby was stressful, Id rather have had a hand basket

I will never shop here again! I tried to give them another chance but after my last visit I see why I stopped going in the first place. Still rude and will watch you until you make it to the register. Even fussed with his employee and told her she needs to watch the customers (me and 2 other people)

Extremely poor customer service!!! The woman at the register angerliy yelled we have no more hair. Like that.. that you are looking.... I said ma’am okay. The problem? Well for one I was only looking through a box of hair for sale at the front door. I didn’t asked for help but she yelled anyway. I then looked for a different style of hair. She continued to yell we have NO MORE!! I said thank you placed the shopping basket back and the front door and left! Please be wise where you spend your hard earned money. Service is a product as well!!!!

They LuCky they got 1 star!!! I spend my money all the time in that store and they are continuously rude to me and my clients!!! I asked for a an exchange from them 3 days after purchasing hair that I didnt need that was leftover. I showed them I purchased it from my card info and they still turned me away. Now im stuck with hair I dont need! I WONT STEP FOOT IM THERE ANYMORE!!!! EVER!!!

I prefer the original store which is right down the street from the larger one, as I can get in and out with being overwhelmed. FYI: Its not the most customer friendly place, BUT Im not there to make friends...

This area has a limited amount of beauty supply stores so not much to compare to. But this store tends to have what I need so its not bad. Other than of course not being black owned which is just a whole other issue ...its decent.Thankfully they have a fellow black chick there to help when I have questions....but she is usually off on Saturdays so I avoid going there in that day if I know I need advice on something to buy.Its just sad that Koreans dominate this market. Making millions off of our hair while black ppl have been left out. If I knew a black owned beauty supply in this area.i would drop this one. But for now this will do

This was too go hair store it still is sort of... but this last visit was fairly poor. The woman who does the wigs there, me and her kind of got into it and this chick wants to continually say lit things under her breath...like shes not talking to a customer whos potentially making your pay check...so she made me so mad I purchased the wrong hair, they were closing at that moment so the next day I went to just exchange the hair...didnt want any money back or anything all I wanted to do was exchange it AND give them more money bc what I was getting wouldve cost more. O they had a fit....No we cant take back hair No No No.....all I wanted to do was exchange it, now Im stuck with something I cant use an no more money to buy what I need......they do not value customers satisfaction at all.....but other than that they have pretty much everything youre looking for for your hair needs. They just suck on customer service and thats bad bc I feel like they do that bc they know that the customer will still come back all bc they have everything you need......which is sad

The owner was very very rude. She was yelling at me because I didnt want their necklaces for purchase. I asked her to show me the price for the necklace. She said 1.99 yet the sign said 1.49. Also asked the male owner for help with the where about of their key chains. He showed me one location,but walked off when I asked did he have any different key chains he yelled, up there . He clearly did not want to be bothered. The female owner made a threat told me not to push her. I ask was she threatening me and stop yelling at me,yet she continued. She than yelled get out. Her husband is also rude. I explain to her that she should not disrespect customers that have not disrespect her. African Americans support her store 99 percent. To have such rudeness and dislike for blacks is appauling. She only hires blacks because they gear towards the black products. I admire any ethnicity,race religion etc..that becomes a business owners in this great land of opportunity. A business however must maintain business ethics and classy service to remain prosperous. She and her husband need to learn that rudeness and defensive behavior is unwarranted and not exceptable. This company is an Asian run company that offers great merchandise. Its sad to see how the owner feels about most of her customers. This type of behavior happens often unfortunately.

Im used to bigger beauty supply stores, so I was thrown off by how small it was and how small the coconut pil selection was. There was sign about relocation soon so hopefully this will be corrected

I was charged for an item that I didnt receive. I called the next business day to alert them of this and was told to come back with my receipt. When I went in the owner tried to question the items because I also brought in what I did purchase. Then as if I was lying she pulled me up on camera for that day to verify. I told her I should be componsated for my gas. I was referred by a coworker needless to say I dont think I will be back because the day I went the only customer service friendly person was a worker. She even apologized for the rudeness of the owner. I did receive my refund, but I think I will stay on my side of town.

The owners will greet you at the door and lead you to the lowest quality of hair they sell. Dont listen to these crooks. Its not enough to be profitable but they are also dishonest. I will never shop there again and I will let everyone know about my experience.
