Reno Vulcanizing did an outstanding job on fixing my tire on my motorhome. They got me in and out in a timely manner and explained what they did to my complete satisfaction. I would definitely use them again for any of my tire needs.

I stopped by for an alignment and requested my steering wheel centered after it has been crooked for years. Everything was well done, and my car drives better then ever. Customer service was friendly and very responsive. They send you notifications throughout the whole process. They took the time to lay down paper and clear sheet on the interior to keep things clean and sanitary. A local business and performs like a large enterprise.They took a little longer then anticipated but I believe thats because they were trying to do it right. No complaints

What an AMAZING experience! We are driving cross country and our check engine light came on. It was a weekend and every other service center was busy and their staff was rude. We called Vulcanizing Auto Repairs and Steve was the friendliest service professional ever and he told us he could at least check the service code and help us however he could. Then Josh quickly checked our light and gave us a 5 min breakdown of the issue and got us back on the road.We were impressed because every other place acted as if we were a huge inconvenience and this company was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Went in for flat repair. Had an 8am appointment, dropped the car a little before 8, tire was repaired after 1pm. estimate to replace tires was $1200- competitors range from $700. Repaired tire was over inflated by 6 psi. I would not recommend.

Great place to get tires and multi-point inspection

On our first day driving from San Mateo to Chicago, the Friday after Thanksgiving, we experienced a flat tire near Truckee CA. After some assistance from AAA, we drove a few miles on the spare balloon tire to a local tire store. They were very helpful but the tire could not be repaired. Our car is AWD SUV so we had to replace the tire with the same model and brand. The local store could not get the tire until Monday. We called several places but the only store that could help us was Reno Vulcanizing. We drove approximately 30 miles to Reno, found a hotel. Saturday morning, Reno Vulcanizing made a special scheduled appointment for me, completed the work within an hour and we were on the road. Their management and service tech ensured we were safe to continue our travels and provided excellent service. I highly recommend Reno Vulcanizing!

They were so wonderful I had a particularly odd problem with my car only to find out that it was a motor issue with the trunk oh, I didnt realize it took a motor operate the trunk anyways they were very concerned and willing to find out if that was a problem before going in ordering the part. They really try to please their customers

I had called ahead and made arrangements, but there was a miscommunication once I got there. It threw 1 guy off his game, but Ken & Roberto stepped up to work me in and communicate with me about my vehicle, options, plan.They were able to email me a proper quote when the parts store was open and got me back in super timely and get the job done!

I was on a trip and it was a Friday night that I called them and ask if they could replace the brakes on my car the next day. They understood my situation and were able to get me in first thing in the morning On Saturday and make the repairs even though they were completely booked.Prices were fair and their diagnosis was honest.Staff was nice and accommodating. I have one of the few Smart Cars in Reno. I bought it at a Mercedes dealer in Florida where the maintenance and service was done. When I moved to Reno in November, I called Mercedes of Reno and was very rudely told, We dont sell them and we dont service them. You have to go to the Mercedes dealer in Sacramento. Just happened to see another Smart Car parking at the market and the owner told me that Reno Vulcanizing had done service and maintenance on the car. WOW! Was I lucky! They were happy to do basic service on my car and were so kind and attentive! Very lucky to have them.

Excellent employee and service. A full complimentary vehicle inspection was done and oil change superbly for a surprisingly low price.

Service was not very good. It took 3 days to replace a rotor, distributor cap, and ignition coil. I had to constantly call to get updates on the status of the repairs. No estimate for the work was ever given. When I finally was able to get my 1997 Wrangler back my right speakers were not working. I cannot understand how that os even possible considering the work performed...slowly!

Was told to drop my vehicle off first thing in the morning and the guy would be able to get to my vehicle if I left it there all day. Had to call at 4:30pm to check and was told my vehicle hadn’t been looked at. The guy said I could leave it overnight and try again tomorrow. Would have been nice to received an earlier notice. Very disappointing, as I had a great experience with them the first time I took my vehicle there. Taking my vehicle elsewhere from now on.

Honestly I wasn’t super thrilled because my car was over 15min late. But that’s not what set me off. What set me off is that I went to turn my car on (it’s manual) so as I pushed in the clutch the car rolled backwards as the parking break was not engaged.Yes the car was left in gear, however, I feel that the parking break should have been on anyway. Since, as stated above, caused my car to roll back as I turned it on.Other than being late and that, not a totally bad experience. People we friendly.

Can I say I love this place? Been bringing my vehicles here for nearly 10 years. Always treated great with first class service. Had an issue when I took my truck in a few weeks back with an item not getting fixed. I take some responsibility as there was a miscommunication on my part. The manager Ken was super nice and we rescheduled and got the item fixed. This is a super busy shop and these people do a wonderful job taking care of their customers in the most polite way. I am really thankful to have such great, honest mechanics who I trust. Highly recommend!

Couldnt be nicer or more accommodating! Called last minute with what seemed like a complex electrical problem. When one location couldnt get us in, they called around to find us a spot at another location. They saw the car immediately, figured out the problem quickly and fixed it thoroughly.

Brought 2 vehicles for an oil change made an appointment so didnt have to wait long for two vehicles maybe an hour. People working there were extremely nice. One of the vehicles was a BMW could have taken it to the BMW shop and paid a little less but probably would have been turned around by BMW and end up paying more anyways. Will definitely go back there.

I just moved to the area and needed tires for my wifes car after after we experienced our first snow. The staff there was great and patient when explaining the types of tires that will do well in snow. We drove off with a set of Kellys for $413 and a reminder to come back in three months for free rotation. My car will need tires, too, and Ill be sure to give this place a look at that time.

The staff was so helpful. Went all over town trying to get my tire changed, and they were the only shop I called or stopped by that didnt waste my time with excuses. The pricing was fair, and since they were busy, the staff scheduled an appointment for me. I appreciate the staff being polite, quick and efficient. I will definitely be returning! Thanks Reno Vulc.

Consistently great work is what you can expect from Reno Vulcanizing on Plumb Lane. They follow through with everything they promise they will do, and in the end surprise you with reasonable charges for their work. As a woman, I have had experiences where car dealers/repair services think you dont understand how things work and either treat you poorly or try to overcharge for items not needed. You will never have that experience here, I recommend them every time.

Amazing service and fast turn arounds!

This place USED to be awesome. Last time I went for a simple oil change I realized when I got home the car was leaking oil. So I call and have to wait a few days for an appointment. The day of my appointment they have the car for an hour and a half and admit they messed up (which is why they get 3 stars instead of 1) and gave me my car no charge. After driving down the road I hear a weird noise so I stop, get out, and see that they did not put my car back together so some big plastic thing is hanging from my car dragging along the road. I am not a car guy but it was the plastic thing meant to protect the engine from anything on the road I am guessing. I take it back and they are incredibly rude and take another half an hour to fix it. Not sure what happened but they have definitely gone downhill the last few months. I gave them three stars because they are honest which is a huge plus for a mechanic, especially in Reno. They would have gotten five but my last experience there upset me so much and they never even apologized which just made it worse. Overall the best place in Reno to get your oil change just keep an eye on things and check your vehicle before driving off.

Very good auto technicians and service advisors

I purchased two new tires from Reno Vulcanizing and had them mounted and balanced immediately before setting off on a trip. My car shook terribly and I took it in to a tire store along my route. One tire had been mounted off center, as clearly shown by the concentric rings molded into the tire side wall, and I had to have the tire re-mounted and re-balanced. When I returned to Reno and presented my invoice to Reno Vulcanizing they refused to reimburse me for it.

I was informed on a Tuesday that I could make an appointment for Thursday to repair a flat on a set of tires I originally purchased there. A month earlier I had sat in their waiting room for two hours to get the same flat fixed, and if they had time, replace the serpentine belt. They did neither. After two hours they informed me that they wouldnt charge me for the flat repair (which they didnt fix) and there were no serp belts in town that would fit a Dodge PU. After 2.5 mile drive home in which I purchased a belt on the way, I left the truck sit in the driveway for a month, airing up the tire every other day. I popped the new belt on in about ten minutes.Having to make an appointment to fix a flat suggests that people should go to a store that specializes in tires.

A little confusing at first, but once the kinks were worked out, the service was awesome! Thank you.

I took my vehicle to the dealer for an oil change. The dealer said I needed rear struts and the front brake pads replaced and the front brake disks resurfaced. The dealer cost was so expensive -- that I went around town getting some estimates on the repairs. Reno Vulcan on Plumb Lane had the second lowest estimate, but the lowest estimate came from a place that didnt look too reputable, so I let Reno Vulcan do the job. I got a call from the manager who told me the front pads measured 6mm and didnt need replacing. That saved me $190. I really appreciate the fact that they didnt take advantage of me because of what I thought needed to be done. Im though with the dealer. My loyalty is with Reno Vulcan now.

We were contacted back the next day and the shift lever on our vehicle finally broke completely. I talked to Ken the service manager and right away we were sent a tow truck courtesy of Reno Vulcanizing.The service and care we recieved were beyond what we ever expected. These guys are one of a kind and my family is safer than safe because of them. New tires for winter and no more safety concern. Thank you Reno Vulcanizing we couldnt appreciate your service anymore.
