Highly recommend. Working with Nick has always been an easy process. Very trustworthy system and reliable techs.
For my experience, I was not satisfied with having to authorize, at minimum, 2 hours @ $150ish p/ hr to diagnose the check engine light code, if needed. It took over two hours. They provided an explanation when I asked, but I still dont agree or fully understand what $150 p/ hr covers. The car was in the shop two days because the wrong part was ordered or delivered. That is still a satisfactory turn around time in my opinion, but under delivered on what they said.
This is the one place I have complete confidence in when leaving our 2019 VW for service. Friendly and thorough service every time. The owners are always available; Mark takes the time to provide knowledgeable insights both before the work begins and after service is completed, and Shawna is happy to provide personal pick up/drop off transportation while the work is getting performed. We often receive same day service completed in a timely manner. We live 200+ miles away and I make a point of being sure all our auto service needs are handled exclusively by Automotion.
When our Sprinter conversion broke down in the middle of our trip with a sticking thermostat, the guys went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Since the van is our home, they even let us stay in their parking lot. Definitely recommend!!
We dropped our 2010 Audi Q5 the night before our Appt day. They have night drop which is a nice feature. They called the next morning for approval for the repair inspection. I gave them approval. Dont hear back from them. I had to call them the next day to get the diagnosis and of course they already ordered the part for the repair without my approval. So I know the repair is needed so they go ahead and proceed. Never hear back again until I call them the following week for an update. They acted like they had the wrong number for me, but called me the first day for approval? Ok. So it takes them until the following Friday, week and a half to get the part and perform an exhaust repair. I still had to call them to get status updates myself throughout the week. Finally they finish on a Friday, leave the vehicle out for me to pickup that night. I pick up the vehicle, and on the way home it is making a flapping noise from somewhere. The next day I crawl under the vehicle and find the front splash shield hanging down, and the rear section of the splash shield missing completely. They completely forgot to attach the splash shield, or did not tighten it down properly, and I am assuming the rear section is laying around their shop somewhere, or on the road because they forgot to attach it properly. None the less, very unhappy with their lack of communication on the repairs, and terrible QC on making sure the splash shield was on properly. Now I have to replace the rear section of splash shield at $60 out of my pocket on top of what I paid for the repair. I have been here before with a different vehicle, and it was much better. Something has changed. Only 2 stars for honesty (could have said it was something more expensive), and for getting the repair done. Will not be back though. You have lost a customer for terrible communication, and poor QC for not properly attaching and leaving off a section of the splash shield on my Audi.
I just thought I would leave a review for any Volvo owners out there. When I first moved to Reno, I went to the Volvo dealership and had terrible service. I then tried Automotion where I found their prices to be much less than the dealership as well as their diagnosis to be more spot on and accurate. They dont try to sell you things you dont need. Their staff is very knowledgeable and great at explaining the details of what type of repair is recommended for anyone who is not super familiar with what happens under the hood. They are fast and courteous and if you own a Volvo here in Reno, this shop is by far your best bet over the local dealership
There always there for me. Thanks for making sure Im safe. Will be with your company till I dont drive anymore. So thats going to be a long time.
They are the best, knowledgeable, thorough, friendly. Twenty years and counting!
This was my first time going to this place and I had a wonderful experience. They were very knowledgeable and helpful, and I truly believe they were honest and trustworthy in regards to the repairs needed. Nick was excellent to deal with.
Great service when promised. These guys know their stuff. They may specialize in German cars but they know it all. Give em try.
The following morning drove auto continuously ran for approximately an hour and a half after approx. 10 mi. Stopped for gas, upon starting car the oil light came on for a moment then went off, also Check Engine light went off. Window didnt want to come down ;after a few tries the window popped real hard then went down but doesnt seem level, needs rechecking, front light still isnt adjusted. Havent seen any indication of oil leak, will check every morning. Otherwise runs like new. Thanks Guys
Took me the same day I called. Able to work on my car when very few other local shops could. Friendly and helpful. Even had a shuttle service to take me home. Great place!
I have nothing to share as of yet Im still waiting for the car to be finished I will also add that the service and Personnel seem to be very friendly they are doing the best to correct the problem however we have to wait for the vendor to send a new carburetor Im sure the car will be in Tip-Top shape once Automotion has completed their service not sure on what its going to cost however because they did a lot of time servicing the carburetor before it was decided that the carburetor was internally bad and waiting for the new carburetor to arrive
Am not satisfied with the work done so far I sent my car because of oil leak and I felt like nothing was done on the car.
This place is very disappointing to say the least. Im really not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. Ive also viewed a few reports made with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) so consumers beware. On top of gouging people on their estimates, the owner Mark is the worst to deal with on any customer issues. Hes extremely defensive and rude. He wont let the customer talk but proceeds to insult and lecture in an effort to defend his business. He seriously needs to learn better customer service. We had our BMW there twice. The first time it ended up being there for nearly 3 weeks, when we were initially told the part will be in tomorrow, then a day to get the work done etc. Not to mention they had padded the work estimate with lots of labor hours which of course is where they make their money. Then the 2nd time, we had a minor issue with the emission control. This time we went out to 3 other foreign auto repair shops in our area, gave them the information on the code that was thrown from the cars computer, plus the part number for what needed to be replaced and we were shocked but not surprised. Automotion was literally 2 times the price of the other reputable shops so it confirmed what we had thought.....that their bids were way too padded on labor. For this emission control part replacement, the other 3 shops quoted exactly the same saying it was about a 1 hour job. Automotion said it was 4 hours plus. Do your homework and dont accept what this shop is telling you without getting other estimates to compare. I think youll be surprised at how much money and effort you can save by not taking your car to Automotion!
Honest, hard working good people. You get what you pay for, dont learn the hard way. Go to the best to start. Thanks all you guys at Automotion
The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Automotion are incredibly helpful and truly work to make certain you are in-the-know whether diagnosing a repair or performing a regular service for your vehicle. If you want someone to care about your vehicle as much as you do, these pros are the way to go!
I had my car in the dealers shop three times and still it wasnt fixed. Asked the dealer to tell me everything that was wrong so I could decide to fix or sell and they just couldnt do that. Brought the car to AUTOMOTION and they were AMAZING!!! Only had to ask once and in about 4 hours I had all the answers. No wasted time, no nickle and dime antics, just honest answers and legitimate suggestions with knowlegable recommendations. Will be bringing ALL my cars here from in on out!
The staff were nice and knowledgable about my car and gave a fair price to my CVT transmission fluid change as the dealer charges a lot more for same service. Were fast and detailed as they even cleaned the dust off my stereo with a rag i had in my car. Appreciated the small detail. Would come here again for maintenance and repairs if needed
Had some issues with my new Mercedes sun roof. They went out of their way to fit me in and solved my problem in a timely manner. I appreciate their professionalism and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.Thank you,Thankyouverymuch,Phil
Was disappointed had oppiontment 7:30 got checked in guy was rude. Said if I needed ride I said yes.As soon as we bring out the cars we can give you a ride.Great thanks, cars were parked still nothing so i waited some more then asked again they stated we dont give rides till after 8.they should of started with that. all white people is probably why I had hard time.trumper shop
Now this place was off the hook
This is the best auto repair company I’ve ever used over my 38 years of owning a vehicle. An honest and very catering operation. I’ve never had a Auto Repair company drive me home or pick me up while it was in the shop. Automation goes the distance! A plug for Mark, he’s top notch, professional, an Angel. Brenda Podesta
They gave me an appointment which was precise, they quoted the work needed to be done, the price which was really reasonable, everyone I encountered was cordial, polite and professional, I bought tires from them before and the balancing and alignment has proven to be top notch.I have a 2004 Mini Cooper and they treat me better than Mini Cooper here in Reno,NV. Thanks folks
Automotion took my vehicle in without an appointment and determined it had a factory issue, which they delivered to resolve that issue before completing the issue it hand. They were prompt, kept me informed of the process, and finished in a timely manner. We gave the vehicle a road test of 1800 miles in the following 4 days and had no issues. We are very satisfied.
Its a blind shot on a dartboard to find a good shop, and words cannot begin to describe how big of a bullseye I with Automotion.I purchased an 87 VW Syncro, and dropped it off for a full inspection. It was quickly apparent that good deals are often too good to be true. This thing is a total Frankenstein, to say the least. Beginning with the service that Ted gave me I knew my new vehicle was in good hands. As newly discovered problems began coming in I was then getting calls from Mark. Mark was responsive, honest, and very detailed in the work that they were doing. Per our last conversation mark mentioned, this doesnt feel like Im talking to a client anymore just a friend that resonated deeply as I feel the same way. As long as I am in Reno, I will be bringing my cars to Automotion. Huge thanks to the whole team.
This is the highest quality auto repair shop I have ever been to. They figured out my oil leak problem in a timely manner and correctly diagnosed it after I received an incorrect diagnoses from a chain repair shop. Saved me over 1k in repair costs in doing so. Staff is friendly and honest. Would highly recommend.
Mark was honest about his findings and quickly took care of it, I am completely satisfied will continue to have them service my SL-55 AMG
Automotion is the BEST compact car repair shop in Reno! Ive been taking my Honda Civic there ever since I moved up to town, and every single staff member and mechanic has always treated me with a ton respect and always do amazing work on my car for a reasonable, not-outrageous price. They have never ever tried to rip me off either, which is important as a woman, because many mechanics will take advantage of women and give them an inflated price. Caring, responsible, friendly - I will never go anywhere else for auto repairs as long as I live here!
I insisted the mechanic focus on fixing the turbo intake, but automation focused on an injector valve issue with a $2,500 price tag. Took the car and drove home from Reno to Nor Cal. Local general mechanic reattached turbo I take hose as clamp had blow. $250. They knew I was stranded, and I even took the matter to the owner, but he insisted they would do a complete job and the the valve repair was the only option. They are probably great mechanics, but they missed the obvious despite my coaching. Would not use them again.
We recently had a parts warranty issue with my wifes Mini. I called Mark and within 3 days and we had the vehicle in and back again with the new parts installed. We could not have asked for a better result. I only we they had had labor coverage, but the charges were reasonable. Cudos to Mark and Automotion.
Mark and his group bent over backwards to get our towed car back on the road. There priority was to make sure the car was roadworthy and safe for us to operate. We owe them a debt of gratitude and highly recommend them.
Im here from out of state for work. Twice now, an axle seal had been replaced and twice now, it had failed. My truck was making a worn bearing noise.I took it to them and they found what the shop back home overlooked. An obvious issue that a rookie mechanic would likely question. Im comfortable driving back home when my work is finished
I can’t recommend Automotion enough! I was in a time crunch and needed my Volvo worked on quickly. Mark went above and beyond to do what needed to be done. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars, he asked if there was someone else I’d like him to talk to about the issues that needed to be fixed. This made me happy and trust Automotion because I’ve been to mechanics that tried to tack on more work that wasn’t necessary simply because I wouldn’t know any better. I could go on and on about my great experience here. I will be using Automotion as long as I live in Reno!
I have always received exceptional customer service from the team at Automotion, and my visit in early December was even more exceptional. I needed to get my car in before the end of the day, and I was behind schedule. The guys waited for me, and they were all smiling. The next day they serviced my car, and had it ready earlier than planned!
Theyre awesome and they do really good work
Nice mechanics but extremely overpriced. They wanted to charge me over $900 to replace a power steering pump in my PR Cruiser. Found another place that did it for less than $500 with a better warranty. Won’t ever be back to this place again.
Great
Automotion does great work and has a friendly & professional staff. I highly recommend them!
They recently did a bunch of work on my one-ton dually (they also maintain my Mercedes and Ford Sportsmobile). they handled 19.5 oversized wheel alignment and found remedied problems in the front-end (steering, tracking and handling) that had been there since I purchased the truck. I recommend them without hesitation! great work, Mark!
Not the least expensive shop in town, but if you want it done correctly this is the place you want. Ive known Mark for thirty years. He and Bill will always give you an honest evaluation and best advice regarding the issue. It may not be what you want to hear, but they will NOT sell you something you dont need.As always a shout out to Lawrence(best mechanic in the country!)
I found Automotion very accommodating for my last minute, out-of-town needs. Each employee I came in contact with was extremely polite. I even met the owner next to his cardboard cutout And front-end appearance is important for first impressions. The front counter area was neat and clean and organized. The waiting area is spacious. The customer interaction I witnessed, either on the phone or in person, was helpful, understanding, knowledgeable and patient. I liked the place. I will bring my other cars here in the future.
I had seen the great reviews of this place and decided to take my car in for an oil change. I was given a oil change quote of $32 before I decided to have my car serviced here. I asked about additional costs up front and Nick (I talked with) did not mention any in particular. When I went in to pick up my car, I got the final invoice of $81.49 which included the $32 (plus tax) I was aware of. The part of the price I was not aware of was the $33 for the Semi-Synthetic blend oil. I was shocked. I guess I needed to do more research and ask what kind of oil they use. I did not need this expensive oil for my vehicle even if its better. I cannot avoid this as a student. I dont know! I had high hopes that I find a good auto. repair shop that was upfront about their prices. Mark, the owner is really nice, but I feel somewhat disappointed. I was also quoted for additional repairs. I thought this was a bite expensive (e.g. $300 for a battery replacement). Im not sure if Ill come back. I cant afford these costs. I guess its back to looking for another repair shop.
After an expensive repair, one can start thinking that an older vehicle is not worth the effort. With the clarity that comes from a truly professional interaction with Automotions service staff, however, the decision to keep my 2006 Xterra saves me much more money than trying to buy no problems for a few years with a new vehicle. I continue to recommend Automotion to family and friends!
Called for a quote to fix winshield wiper motor, and it would be 140-200$ worse case scenario. I drop it off and pick it up 487$. Paid 800 for the car and just wish they were honest when I decided to give them my business + never got 1 call back today had to call them every 2hrs because they said we will let you know and never let me know. Very disappointed. Ps
I arranged a pre purchase inspection, and Marks service was excellent, detailed and done quickly. As an out of town client, everything was top notch and they saved me hassle and lots of $. I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you again

THIS COMPANY IS TRULY 5 STAR IN E V E R Y WAY!!!I wouldnt bring my car anywhere else!!! Thank you all at Automotion!
Some of the best service in Reno! Although my personal circumstances prevented my Eos from being fixed, my experience with this shop was superb! The staff was knowledgeable, the prices werent ridiculous and the place was clean.Id recommend this shop to anyone looking to have a Volkswagen fixed.
We have been customers of Automotion for years and years. They have always been helpful, courteous and professional. The workmanship is excellent. We would recommend Automotion to anyone.
Great service and the staff is awesome. I had a chance to talk to Mark the owner and Nick. Very family oriented and can’t wait to go back with my vehicle.
Very expensive place to fix a car. They charge 125-145 $ per hour. I had my Honda 82 civic brought there to pass the smog since it failed the smog test. because its carburitor parts are limited. They found a place in california and they wanted me to give that person a call and bought carburitor/parts, I paid 480$ for the parts and they replaced that part on the car and the car still wont pass the smog. they said its running rich and they are blaming it to the parts. The part seller in California blamed it to them for not doing it right. So the car is still not passing smog and I was billed for almost $1000 labor cost, 6-7 hours of labor. They said I can ship the product to california guy to fix it and they will put the part back after but do not guaranteed it will pass the smog. if I do that, they will charge me for additional 6-7 hours of labor that is another $1000.The car is not even worth $500 and they will try to rip you off with every possible way.So I just spent almost $1500 for basically nothing.Horrible place. I will never go there again. They made me buy parts from the person they know nothing about. I paid that guy blindly without know his credibility. They play blame game to each other. Later I tried to call that guy in California to tell him about his part and he never picked up the phone. From start to end, a lot of fishy things going on. How can you ask a customer to buy a part where you even have no idea who that person is.Stay away folks.
Automation Service and Repair maintains all of our family vehicles with reasonable prices and professional pride.! 5 stars !
Amazing customer service and very helpful. Walked me threw the repair with phone calls throughout the process. Bill explained everything to me, even how to save some money by replacing a sensor by myself. I tried and couldnt fit my arms in the area that needed repair, so I called them back and made another appointment. Great mechanic in Reno. Ill always bring my truck here for repairs
They take the time needed to repair our cars like they were their own. No short cuts.Service means FULL service to Mark.A safe vehicle is the only way to drive. They live and breath integrity and have been on point for over 10 years now of trusted service on all three of our cars and two trucks. They have real mechanics that are trained on all brands. Not the typical plug and play jockey with a cell phone and vape box working on your car.The wont change my favorite radio station for some other trash on the test drive. They are just east of the GSR casino. You will be pleased with their work.
Very professional, only complaint is that it can be pretty expensive.
The folks at Automation helped us when our RV developed a fuel injector problem near the end of our vacation. They did everything they could too accommodate us including refrigerating our food during the repair period. They also helped with rental car expense when the repair time took longer than expected.
This place always does good by me and my Audi
I couldnt have been more happy with my service at Automotion. I bought a Jeep that needed a transfer case and drive shaft. Dave was very honest with me, kept in touch, and made sure that any work was approved before doing it. When I got the Jeep back from them, he also went over what they recommended be done, and explained to me how easy the minor stuff was to do myself. I have finished most of the minor repair work and my Jeep is running like a champ! I will be bringing all of my service to these guys from here on out!
Great people, great place, and great service. My trucks front alignment came back perfect. Would definitely recommend and come back for anything.
I recently scheduled an emergency repair on my work truck. He made sure for me to have it back in a reasonable time frame which exceeded expectations. As a small business owner with a vehicle I rely on I greatly appreciate their efforts which were above and beyond. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants a quality service or repair job. For some reason when I am about to leave a senior staff member always tries to sneak in a cutting and or condescending remark. He does so pleasantly hoping to pass it off unnoticed for his own amusement. If not for this I would be giving 5 stars.
These are the only people I let fix my two Volkswagens. I have a 2013 Jetta sportswagon diesel and a 2012 Volkswagen golf diesel. They are not the cheapest, but you could trust them, and they do a good job. I dont even look anywhere else.
What a great and friendly staff! They are so polite and helpful, and never made me like i was just another customer. Fixed my mercedes in excellent time and definitely fair price. Highly recommend them if you love your car :)
We broke down in Reno on an extended road trip and chose Automotion because of their awesome social media ratings. They met every expectation. We received quick, quality service, and the rest of our 2k+ trip was a success with no issues. Thank you guys -- we really appreciate your honest and dependable service. Its really difficult to find these days. Thank you!
After a rough start, the owner called me and explained a few things and asked for another chance and is giving me a free inspection. What he said made sense, and not many owners would do this. He seems sincere, and I appreciate him taking the time and consideration.
I went for a car part NO ONE HAD or could get within a reasonable time. They ordered it and got it the next morning. Definitely remend for those hard car parts. Oh and my car servicer had no idea what I was talking about.
I am very happy with the service and the staff this place is great.they continue with great customerservice and knowledge. I brought my car in and they did a complete cooling system job, all the hoses the belts and replaced the radiator with one of their guaranteed ones. Great jobEverything they work on is always done right and all the staff care and it shows
Friendly and helpful persons are working there. I think you can trust on them.I have been there for two times and satisfied so far. the second time was a big one. they did many things and maybe most expensive repairs any car may need (I wish!).I hope they keep on this way then I will add more compliment about their services.
If you want it done right. Take your vehicle to Automation. Honest and knowledgeable. They wont sell you something you dont need.
Good customer service and quick response to any problems.
I’m from out of town, my bmw broke down and I couldn’t have found a more thorough and professional company to repair it. they made the whole experience hassle free, drove 6 hrs home with no issues!
Bill was awesome. They were prompt to get my vehicle in and concise with a diagnosis and cost estimate.Due to specific details of my vehicle, the replacement part cost twice as much as they quoted me ($700 vs $1400) but Bill honored the original quote without me even mentioning it!Thanks Automotion!
Honest guys and always busy is always a sign of a good mechanic. Be wary of guys that arent busy. There is a reason. I recommend appointments.
Good group you people you got, Thanks for your help.
My comfort level with the integrity and competency of the team at Automotion is off the charts. I have two high end vehicles (German and Japanese) and recommend their services to any who are looking to maintain their vehicle to manufacturer standards. They let me know what I need and work with me on a maintenance plan if a service is more than I can handle at a particular time. Look no further, or at least give them a shot and you will not be disappointed.
My husband was recommended to Auto Motion, and we are glad he was! They work on all brands of vehicles, and they have serviced our Ford 150 and our Dodge Ram Diesel Dually. Great knowledge, excellent service, and fair pricing. Highly recommended.
Hello Mark,Thank you for the opportunity to comment on your service. I feel that you and your staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. As a new customer to your shop I must say that I will be back and I would recommend you and your staff to all of the people that I know! Thanks again and I will see you soon.
Honest service. Great people. Affordable prices. Trust secured.
The usual good job and good advice.I appreciate your offering advice for things that are not essential, but good to do, such as rotating tires. That $22 investment helps me drive with great confidence.
Somehow my yelp review from years ago got deleted despite yelp claiming they dont do that... Anyway, years ago I had a Porsche Boxster and I was driving to work when the coolant light came on. I pulled over and noticed a coolant leak. Had the car towed to Automotion as a friend had recommended them. They diagnosed the problem as a blown engine and offered to charge me ~$11k to replace it, more than the value of the car. I got a second opinion from Reno Rennsport that diagnosed the problem as a blown water pump. ~$800 later and I was on the road for another other 20k miles before I sold the car. And when I called them on charging me $150 to misdiagnose my car, they offered no sympathy pointing out that I signed the papers authorizing their professional analysis. And this is in spite of the misdiagnosis being the difference between a part that commonly fails and catastrophic engine damage resulting in a non-salvageable core. This was years ago, so they might have gotten better. And I am confident if I spent 14x as much at Automotion to fix my car I would have been fine. But when a small shop claims to be specialists in several foreign brands, they are likely just generalists. So I would be very cautious using Automotion to diagnose a problem, especially for a lower production vehicle.
What a great experience I had today at Automotion!I took my car here after another shop tried to rob me blind over a power steering issue. The staff at Automotion are honest, genuine, great people who took care of me! The first shop I went to tried to tell me that I needed $1,000 worth of repairs after looking at my car for two minutes. Automotion thoroughly checked my car to find what the problem was, and it only was a repair costing $150! Now that is some great service. They are also currently working on getting me quotes for a couple of other long-term repairs and will be calling me to let me know how much they will cost. I am so grateful for the service this place provides; well done! I will definitely be making this my go-to repair shop. Im also a UNR student, so if any other students out there need repairs, this is your place!
Bill and his team are professional and courteous. The office is clean and well organized. Great feeling to know my Mazda CX-7 was in good hands! Will be taking my other vehicles there for sure!!
Mark and his team are wonderful to work with. Their work is great, prices are great, Ive seldom had to wait, and their waiting area is comfortable. Cant say enough good things about Automotion.
Frank was very helpful and stayed late for us. He made the buying process smooth.
Tried to overcharge on top of adding extra work. Told me my car was unsafe to drive. Which was a lie. Quoted me at 1500, for unnecessary work. went to Meineke and they did it for 450. All I needed was brakes and my control arm adjusted.
Great day getting my car aligned. Efficient and thorough plus friendly too.
I WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE...I WORKED FOR MARK AT AUTOMOTION FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS HE IS ONE OF THE MOST HONEST AND GOOD PEOPLE THATS LEFT IN THE INDUSTRY I HAVE WORKED AT A FEW REPAIR SHOPS AS WELL AS A COUPLE DEALERSHIPS IN MY 30 YEARS AS A AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC IN RENO/SPARKS...HES VERY PROFESSIONAL AND AT ALL TIMES VERY ....NICE....YOU DONT FIND THAT MUCH ANYMORE....THANKS MARK FOR YOUR TIME I SPENT WITH YOU AND MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT DAY!
My experience was better than I could have expected, especially the customer service. I know that I will return if further work needs to be done on my car. I hope that Automotion will stay honest.
Being a retired mechanic Im tough to please.Service counter people are flawless. Mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the problem for that one time fix.The Jaguar Doctor is here
I had a simple and expensive request. The vehicle was in extreme disrepair but I saw its potential .I believe the potential value of the vehicle mainly to me was overlooked. This was not unjustified my vehicle looks like it belongs in a scrap yard but I am willing to restore this old workhorse over the next 5 years. Owning a truck from 1968 that has been treated harshly I see their concern in my budget which I greatly appreciated. After a quick fix which failed the staff was highly apologetic and responsive. They corrected their mistake and have taken very good care of me and my project. I would gladly send anyone to their shop. If you want responsibility and quality controll go to Automotion on Terminal Way.
$120 to tell me that all I had was a blown out light, even though they knew it was blown out 15 minutes into the evaluation. However, since I told the tech going into it that I didnt think it was the bulb they didnt even verify that would be the problem first, but instead started checking for electrical problems. And then charged for a thorough check of the car systems, which I did not ask for. I am confident that I can find a better more competent mechanic elsewhere. Not satisfied with the overcharge at all. Wont be back.
It was nice to sit back and have everything be taken care of for my smog check. And great prices too! Thank you!
I was looking for a reliable, reasonably priced, honest repair shop to bring my car after moving to this area, and I think I have found one!I was experiencing a thumping noise, usually on acceleration, and was not sure what was causing it. After a diagnosis, it turns out my engine mounts were in need of replacement. Mark told me I really only needed one mount, but mentioned that 2 of the mounts were on the way out, and only one was still in decent condition. I wasnt pressured at all to get the other 3 mounts, but decided it would be a smart idea, since my car was about 11-12 years old.I was told that this might not cure the thumping, but it was likely it would. It turned out that it didnt cure the problem and Mark volunteered to take the car back and try and pinpoint where the noise was coming from. He told me that since I had already paid a substantial repair bill, he would only charge me for any new replacement parts used. He suspected it might the axle and had new ones on hand, in case that was the problem.Well, it turns out no new parts were needed, and they managed to fix the thumping noise by reseating the axle splines. He didnt charge me anything for the extra work and the noise is gone! I was even given rides to and from my home 10 miles away as a courtesy.Automotion and their staff are all courteous and friendly, and Mark is great about explaining everything thats going on with your car and what your options are! Any other business couldve easily charged me for replacing the axle and I wouldve never known. This proves to me that these guys are honest and fair, which can be sometimes can be hard to find when you need to have auto repair work done!I highly recommend this business, and will return again (hopefully, not too soon!) when the need arises!
Great job on my wifes Audi.
Owners Care about their clients/ very Respect ful/ will go out of their way to solve your issues with your Vehicle.
Great service and my Suburban drives much better! I wish I had taken my truck here the last 2 years and not wasted my time and money at one of those tire chain stores... Will be bringing my 2002 Golf and upcoming Audi here for service from now on.
My family has used Automotion for decades. Bill the GM is knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is clean and the mechanics well trained.
My name is David Hooven and this is 3rd time that I’ve brought my vehicles to Mark and the team at Automotion! They really go out of their way to take care of us, they do great work, and I highly recommend them!👍👍👍
This is the second repair experience with one of our cars, the other was our Mini Cooper. This repair a 2001 Subaru. They were instructive about the potential for the worst case scenario and helpful to understand the repair and the consequences of it long term. They were very friendly, cooperative, kind and knowledgable. I would recommend these guys to all of my friends and family. Especially women friends, they treated me very well, never diminishing what I didnt know! Hats off to Auto Motion! Thanks.
