An amazing staff serving world class beer. Before discovering The Exhibit I felt as if I was wandering through a desolate world of deplorable service evermore. Being surrounded by the incredible artwork of David Paul Seymour while partaking in the best sours, stouts, and IPAs you’ll ever imbibe in transports you through a portal of transformative libations.Travel the pathway into the depths of your soul. Search the cosmic realm. You won’t find better beer or people in this dimension. Cheers!

There are 6 stools at the bar.I want to get back here to give a better review on the beer. The bartender was nice and helpful. If your in the area, definitely stop by and check it out.

I love the beers here and they have a wonderful selection. Several tables are inside for groups or individual seats. 3 or so tables outside with 2 chairs if you prefer to sit outside. There is also a bottle shop on site so you can take home a few beers from burial as well.My only complaint is the noise in side. The building does not dampen peoples conversation so it is hard to talk to the people at your table at times or even the person next to you.

Been a couple time and have had terrible service consistently. The first time the bartender was rude and curt when I her asked about one of the drafts. Whatever, I blew it off. Maybe she was having a bad day. Went again on a weekday afternoon when it was pretty empty and the bartender couldn’t be bothered to pour a beer. What is it with this place? Would rather drink somewhere where the beers aren’t over priced and the bartenders aren’t entitled and rude.

So excited to have Burial in town. Their brews and style are truly wonderful. Great addition to the Transfer Co Food Hall. I would give this a four star because their space is so cramped and on a release day the line wraps around the building. Current capacity is technically for 10 people. But I’m putting this down s a five because they are about to update their space to a much larger space!

Very cool spot, both inside and out, in a more laid back area of downtown. Meaning theres even a parking lot in addition to a good amount of street parking. But still other places nearby you can walk to if youre making it a whole event. The beer is great too, especially if youre a fan of IPAs/DIPAs

Burial was one of my favorite breweries in North Carolina. After coming to their exhibit for their birthday and trying every beer they have on tap, they are definitely one of my favorite breweries in general. Their hazy IPAs are just so delicious and they do all other types of beer very well. If I lived in the area, then I wouldnt mind becoming a regular here.

I assume it will get better once its connected to the food hall. Currently you have to take cans back to the food or bring the food to the beer, with nowhere to sit it or your beers currently (they said this was being worked on). No prices on the bottles out in the store, so be prepared for a surprise when you check out. Also, beer was great but if you arent into high powered IPAs and Stouts, may not be for you, 8 of 11 beers over 8%.

I love Burial beer and have visited their taproom in Asheville a few years back. Best IPA’s I’ve ever had. Their more limited releases are harder to find around the Triangle, so I’m really happy to have them here in Raleigh! I placed an online order and visited for the first time. They made pickup safe, fast, and easy. It’s done completely outside, so you don’t have to go indoors. Excited to order from them again soon. Appreciate them being careful and taking measures to protect staff. I’m looking forward to having a drink in the taproom when it’s safe to do so.

O-V-E-R-P-R-I-C-E-D, tried a couple of offerings and they were decent. They didnt blow my mind, but they were competent. But Holy Jesus Christ in a Chicken Basket. $20 for a pint of stout? Get over yourself. I might pay that for something super rare like a West Vleteren 12 and then only once. I have no problem paying a premium for craft, but that is just taking the piss as the english say. Never going back again, better beer at far better prices to be had. Im just flabbergasted at what a ripoff they are.I also tried the coffee porter at $16/4-16oz.. nice coffee flavor but otherwise thin and one note. Much prefer Founders porter at $10-11/6pack at the bottle store. Maybe if they spent more time tasting their beer than designing the artwork on the can, it would be better *shrug*PS, West Vleteren 12 is totally worth the hype, that beer did blow my mind.

If you are into IPAs, Saisons, Sours or Stouts, Burial is currently making elite level brews in all of these aforementioned styles. To be lucky enough to have only the 2nd location ever within a 15 minute drive is truly incredible. Raleigh showed BIG love from day one and as a reward the now Hallway sized space that we call Burial is expanding (from what I can see) approximately 6x in sq. footage, including outdoor patio and direct access to the adjoining and brand new Transfer Co. Food Hall. People are dying just to sample anything from these guys in bottle exchanges throughout the country, and you have it, right here, in your own backyard. My wife DETESTS high gravity beer, she was in there slamming down a 10.7% Golden Sour like a Mic Ultra. So clean. so delicious and you would never know it was over 6% by taste alone. This is my favorite beer on Earth. The Asheville location is amazing and with this expansion, will certainly rival the O.G location.

First of all this rating is based on the taproom - NOT the beer. The beer is amazing - I suggest finding it in tap at your local pub or bottle shop. Maybe the best brewery for IPAs in NC.Perhaps I came in with too high expectations. Several times I had been by and the line was out the door and finally I came by and it wasn’t. I was on my bike so parking was not a problem but looks limited if in a car. I heard it was a cool space with burial artwork on display. Yes- there were a few posters on the wall but not too much. Several shelves of potted. Concrete floors and brick walls - I get it. But not anything special besides the beer. Also - cash not an option- cards only.

Burial has created an awesome space in Transfer Co. Food Hall. Its a relatively small space, but the design is very open with easy access to the bar.The artwork is fantastic - ranging from hauntingly beautiful to grotesque and abstract. The beers are otherworldly. Every sip reveals the care and thought that went into creating the brew, from their heady, heavy stouts to their flavorful, light-bodied sours and pilsners.Burial has very quickly become my favorite NC brewery, and their spot at Transfer Co. my favorite bar to visit.EDIT: I have to edit due to the increase in size! The space and seating is phenomenal, and the bartenders are amazing! Theyre always very helpful and make wonderful recommendations based on your beer preferences.
