My boyfriend and I came here today and there were 3 employees. We walked around for a while and still no one asked if we needed help. We found the beer we liked and went to check out. The woman that rang us up did not offer a bag for the single beers we purchased, we had to ask for a bag, then I asked about a particular type of wine and the first thing out of her mouth was how much it cost. All I asked about was where the wine was located and then I had to ask her again to show me where it was because there was not a certain section of the wall with that wine. Her tone was very condescending and it seemed like she was thinking we could not afford the $28 bottle of wine. Then we we left, no one told us thank you or come back or anything. They just started moving furniture around I guess for an event they had. We will definitely not come back. This experience whether intentional or not, was very off putting and did not make us feel like a welcomed guest in your store.

Great neighborhood bottle shop. Good variety of beers on tap and always a few different wines open to pour. There’s a few tables out front if you want some fresh air, or it’s nice to sip and shop if you’re looking for something to take home.

***Edit: After seeing the response from the new owner, I decided to give this place another try and WOW! Going up to 5 stars for sure. We were the only people in when we first arrived and everyone was so friendly and nice. Even gave us a little snack :) Good beer selection and longer hours is an A+ in my book. Place was busy when I went but they still stopped draft beer at 630....literally all tables were taken and plenty of people outside. Didnt announce last call either. I would have bought more and I wouldve shopped around for beer to take home.

Excellent selection of wine and beer. Neighborhood feel. Enjoy wines and beers on tap (beer to go during the pandemic). Bruce and Ellen care about their customers, and supporting pet adoption. Jack is a wine expert. Friendly and helpful.Have adapted well during the pandemic with curbside pickup, delivery and online shopping.

Great options but not enough cold beer. If you’re buying to bring home and drink immediately there aren’t too many options. Lots of local beer and the yellow tags tell you which ones are local. They have a bar in the store with a lot on tap. Also have wine.

Moving into the area soon and I was worried that I wont find a bottle shop that can supply my craft brew addiction. Well this place more than takes care of that. Awesome local NC selections and ten rotating taps which are nicely curated. This will be my second home soon enough.

Customer service here is TERRIBLE. My boyfriend and I moved here from out of state recently, and he decided to check this place out since it’s right down the road from us. He went in 10 or 15 minutes before they closed, and asked “Oh. You guys close at 7?” and some guy who works there rudely shouted “We’ve been closed at 7, GUY!” And walked away. Is this the way you treat all of your customers? We will never be back here again and we’ll advise everyone we know and meet not to. Work on yourselves, will you?

Great wine and beer tastings events. Love the atmosphere here and the owners are very nice and knowledgeable about wines and ales. Great ladies bathroom which is always clean and smells divine. It just makes you happy to be a girl ! Love the adoption events they put on for canines who need a home. I used to live so close to them but now its less convenient to drop in unless I am dining at Brigs. I really miss Northwest Raleigh sometimes but Garner has its treasures to.

Massive collection of North Carolina beer and wine with a few on tap. Self serve wine. Nice employees.Bathrooms are accessible, gendered, single stall. The aisles are wide enough for a wheel chair.Noteworthy: they have a 100% sanitation rating.

Bottlemix recently reorganised their shelving: as you enter, wine on the left and beer on the right. More selection among their offerings would be welcome, but there is plenty of seating for typical crowds. Employees are top-notch in knowledge and bar-side manner. Would love to see some events to take advantage of the space and seating available. Worth a couple visits

Nice place to stop and have a glass of wine or a tasty beer on tap. Then pick up some beer or a bottle of wine on they way out. The place seems to have a lot of regulars that are all nice.

This is a terrific place to enjoy a few great beers. Love the relaxed atmosphere, ample tables great selection and knowledgeable friendly staff who answer Qs and arent pretentious. Highly recommend this place any time youre in north Raleigh

Delicious beer and fantastic staff

This is an excellent place to stop by, sample a few excellent beers, then pick up a few more to restock the supply at home. Beer is sold by the bottle so you can try one or two of something new instead of having to commit to six. Friendly owners and staff, and all tips at the tasting bar go to help the local animal shelters. A great addition to the area!

Great bottle shop with a nice wine section too. Have the local NC beers distinguishable by having the pierce tags yellow. Nice touch! Friendly and helpful staff. Usually a good selection of taps as well as wine by the glass.

Good mix of craft beers and wines. 10 taps for pints it growlers fills and several wines for sipping in store. Good place!

We recently attended a craft beer tasting at Bottle Mixx. The vast selection of craft beers and unique wines was awesome. They even have a tasting bar in the back where you can relax and watch your favorite game on TV. What was the most unusual find was the wine tasting station where you can get a tasting, half glass or a full glass of wine automatically dispensed in the right amount from a dispensing machine which you pay for via credit card. Sounds like the perfect ladies night out! I encourage you to stop by and meet owners Bruce and Ellen. You will not be disappointed.

I have real mixed feeling about this location, while they have a descent selection, I didnt really feel I fit into the clientele, with was mainly wealthy and 50+ for this bottle-shop and overall had a lack of seatingthe main negative I would have to say is every bottle even for taking home was easily marked up 1 or 2 dollar over other bottle-shops in the area and they charged 2 dollars to open said bottle if you wanted to drink it there.so if you wanted to try a beer at the shop you where paying around 5-7$ for a bottle which cost 1-3$ per in a 6 pack while i get there is a cost for rent etc this is a bit of a steep price to grab more than 1-2 drinksIm use to 1-1.50 markup at a bottle-shop for a cold beer

This place is amazing! I initially went there as it is close to my house and we found out the owners are from our home town of Pittsburgh. They have an amazing selection of beers by the bottle or growler. Several taps with different beers and a good wine selection.

Came here w/future daughter in law. Its nice you can get a half or full glass of wine. Also they allow dogs in too!!

Bottle Mixx is fantastic. They have an unbelievable wine and beer selection, both bottles and to drink on site. The owners and employees are really knowledgeable and always excited to talk about what theyre pouring. And the place is totally laid back. You can get a beer from the bar and order in a pizza from one of two pizza places in the shopping center if you want. A great place to stop by at the end of the workday or on a weekend afternoon.

Great selection, the beers on draft are not grocery store beers, and the owners/staff are super friendly. Friendly clinetele as well (yeah, Im one of them, so a self serving review). Also, a large wine selection, including wine taps for non-beer lovers. Thats hard for me to imagine, but I know they exist. If I didnt already have a house, Id move in with my dogs.

They have a good variety and always have new beers. I really like how they organize the store by beer style and by the intensity of the style. They follow from pale ales to more hoppy IPAs and then the really over the top hoppy and experimental styles. I would rate the quality of the selection excellent. Dont forget to check out the glassware and the doggie biscuits too.
