Really cool venue for live performances! They also have a great beer selection, both on tap and on their extensive shelves within the store. They are also dog friendly which is a huge plus.

Cool little neighborhood place but their beers are extremely expensive. They charged me $9 for a beer! At a rooftop bar in Miami with tons of ambiance sure but this is dinky divey little neighborhood joint with zero ambiance. $9 is way too much at a dive bottle shop. I couldve gotten a six pack for a dollar more at the store and it wouldve been just as good

First time visiting Crafty. Its COVID quiet in there on a Tuesday night, but it was nice. It was quiet, so good conversation was easy. Theres a good selection. Ill return for sure to look through all the bottles and have another drink sometime.

This place is always great! And they have a decent gluten free beer selection too.

Absolutely amazing owner and atmosphere, I must say after meeting Wendy today, she is a local leader and i would stand side by side with her as she hopes for a world filled with community and love. After speaking with her, im proud to have been in her establishment and will definitely be back. Im not a drinker but would support her fully because of who she is and what she is trying to do for her community!

Great little place with good atmosphere and very friendly wait staff. I realize this is primarily a beer place, but the liquor process were still pretty steep. All in all a good experience, but stick to beer if you dont want your wallet to bleed out.

This little bar has a lot of swagger. From the craft beer to the wine, and creative liquor drinks, Crafty brings home a nice neighborhood bar feel. No food at the joint, but no worries Taste delivers!

Very neat place and they allow dogs and children. music they play is great 2000-2007 feel. I felt as if I were in college again!!! The beer is pricey at about $10.00 a bottle Yikes! and be aware no food, however lots of places will deliver through an app I believe.

Looks nice enough but they do not fill growlers here. I brought my clean growler in to fill, and after a call to the manager to see if they are allowed I was told they couldnt probably because it would take too much beer from their small kegs. The state allows it, but if crafty beer shop wants keep their beer in their small kegs they (rightfully) have quite the unorthodox business strategy.Also their selection of cold beer for off premise consumption was pretty small. Not a great place for a quick stop before heading somewhere else.

Love this place! Great beer selection and and friendly neighborhood feel to it. The staff is always making you special and we have fun meeting our friends after work for a drink here. Wendy and Glenn the owners are just wonderful people and it shows in how they run their business.Highly recommended.

Stopped here after dinner on a Saturday night to have a beer at the bar and pick up some new bottles to take home. The thing about this beer shop that is different from others Ive been to (Tasty, Beer Study, Bottle Revolution, etc) is that the bar area is much larger - it is the size of bar youd see in a restaurant. That means that there is less room for racks of bottled beer for sale.The selection of bottled beer was nicely organized and had some great option for creating a sample pack, like I was doing. They had a local section with a good amount of local breweries. The place was packed to the brim with bottles - even a little room in the back.There werent as many beers on tap as I had expected for a bar that size. We had the Duck Rabbit Hoppy Bunny since we hadnt tried it before. I think they had about 7 beers on tap and I wish they had had a few more. They also served wine. I might have ordered a second beer but they were $7 a piece!The bet part of this beer shop is the lounge area - couches and tables for people to sit. At 8pm on a Saturday night we were able to get a seat easily. We will definitely be back.

Nice place, good selection of beer and wine. Decent covered back porch, and plenty of parking behind the building. Dogs are allowed (on leash, of course). If youre hungry, Crafty will allow deliveries, or you can go across the intersection for a decent meal at The Point.

Wendy was super helpful when I contacted her for help on finding that elusive beer I was looking for. Not only did she help find it for me, but she also held two bottles for me until I could make it there from Greenville. When I got there, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great selection of beers on tap and on the shelf. Had to cut myself off at a certain point otherwise my whole paycheck would have ended up here. Highly recommended and I know I will be back there soon.

Chocolate Wine and Cheese Festival this past weekend and many attendants wondered through the Crafty Beer Shop with their wine glasses.Very rude owner !Came up to our group and asked us to leave because “we don’t have a wine license.”All other Lafayette shop owners welcomed us.Next year... I suggest the Crafty Beer Shop owners place a sign in their window to let attendants know they are not welcome.It’s all about the approach...our group would have perceived things differently if the owner said... “ may I get you a beer since we don’t serve wine?”Of course that didn’t happen and everyone we saw in their beer shop had a glass of wine...I don’t recommend this place to anyone 😟

If you have a dog - Crafty doesnt care! Its all about family fun and family fare.A top-ten spot without doubt. Dont pass five corners without giving it a try or you will miss a hidden Raleigh treasure.

Beer selection is mediocre at best. Someone else should be choosing the draft list. Bartenders need to be more personable.

Great selection of craft beer along with wine and a cocktail menu. The environment is pretty standard for these shops but the friendly and knowledgeable employees make the shop a favorite.
