House of Hops is a great bottle shop. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you make a decision. Their beers are changes out and their Untapped Page is updated routinely. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as games.

Have always liked coming here. My husband frequents here a lot. Justin is a tireless barkeep and seems to never take a break! The place is small and unpretentious. One of the very first bottle shops in Raleigh and still going strong!

Great open floorplan and a ton of rotating seasonal taps. They have a small rec room that occasionally has a ping pong table set up along with other games. Outdoor seating to the back is spacious. Often get a food truck so you dont have to bring food. Dog friendly and head meet on Wednesdays for run club.

Nice place to go sit outside and have a beer. They have a large variety of beer and there has been a food truck there every time Ive been. They added a couple more tables to the secondary outdoor seating area.

I stopped by just to pick up some local craft beer and was surprised by what they offer for entertainment as well. Table games, ping pong, and darts. Outdoors is Cornhole, picnic tables, and fire pits.The staff was super helpful finding local beers that match what I like. They offered samples and walked me through their local section. The only downside was that they only had singles to make your own six pack, which suited me fine.I will definitely be back with some friends to enjoy all they have to offer.

Tucked away from the traffic on 70/Glenwood, this bottle shop/house is an absolute delight. A massive craft beer selection and a friendly staff will make you feel right at home. Theyve been opened for three years and I feel like Im three years too late.

Cute local place! Ton of drink options with a food truck outside. Pretty empty on week nights which is prefect for meeting a friend during Covid times. Wish the outside seating area had a heater. Bartender was very helpful and informative. Would definitely be back!

This place is so much fun! They are way beyond just a bottle shop: tons of events, beers on draft, and they have food trucks featured throughout the week as well. I went in on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Dog friendly as well. Huge selection of craft beers, and you can ask for samples if you are undecided.

Stopped in while visiting Raleigh to get out of the heat and try some local beers. They had a great selection on tap and plenty of cans and bottles to drink or take home. It’s dog friendly, and had a patio with corn hole. We brought take out with us but they do regularly have food trucks in the evenings. For sure will go back to one of their locations next time in Raleigh

The bartender (whomever it happens to be that day) is always nice, they have a great selection of bottles & cans to take home, and they have a fun little gift shop! I bought a tank top the first time I ever visited this place, after getting a pedicure just like two shops up. Bonus: If you go on Monday, take-home 6-packs are 20% off! I may or may not have taken advantage of that quite a few times...

This is your friendly neighborhood bottle shop. It doesnt matter if its your first visit or if you are a regular, you are welcomed by a friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as a welcoming crowd. The beer selection on draft or in ready to drink bottle and cans is second to none in Raleigh. With multiple events through the week, from Bible study to cornhole as well as various food trucks there are multiple reasons to come by and visit. They are pet friendly and have a nice patio out back.

They always have a solid selection. The bartenders know what theyre talking about. The food trucks are typically high quality. And for the ladies, they stopped a bathroom with bobby pins and hair ties. Scratch that for people with long hair.

This was our first time out here. We came for trivia, we enjoyed the huge variety of beer. Unfortunately, trivia starts a bit too late for us. We didnt get home until after 11. We have to work them next day. We were hoping this would be the new centrally located trivia spot for our crew. Maybe we can still meet up for a drink every now and then.

Stopped through this spot for a beer (or two) to break up a Saturday errand run on Glenwood. Met the owner who couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. The selection is pretty astounding - great craft brews from near and far. Very chill atmosphere - dog friendly + board games. Looked like they have fun events and food trucks on the regular. Definitely going to be a go to from now on, whether it’s stopping in and hanging for a beer, or grabbing a six pack to go.

They have a wide selection of craft beers and also some non-alcoholic drinks. Everyone there is friendly, and its a great atmosphere. They frequently offer different events-- and often have food carts there. Its a hidden gem of Raleigh!

Impressive selection of beers. Almost too many. The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was very turned off by the arrogant owner/manager. I used a colorful term to describe a local sports personality in a pleasant conversation with a patron next to me and the owner/manager, who was at his computer in a corner the whole time I was there, flipped out. I have no problem with a no profanity policy or being asked to not curse, but his reaction was overboard in my opinion. I really was taken aback. Maybe he was having a bad day, but... Good thing that there a many other similar places and great brewerys in the area with more reasonable pricing and appreciative management. Bad experience coming from someone in charge. I dont think I need to return anytime soon.UPDATE - I appreciate Keith addressing my concern so quickly, and I hope he took it constructively. It says a lot about him as a business owner. I was wrong for cursing and really have no problem with the request and policy. I have a wife and kids and have been offended by the same thing in public places. I guess both our perceptions of what happened may be a little off.

Best Bottle selection in Raleigh. Every bartender is super knowledgeable about the beer on tap and everything that they have in package. Weekly events keep this place busy. I wish I lived closer because it would no doubt be my everyday bar.

This is always a fun little tucked away spot to grab a beer with friends, play some games or just hang out outside. A good selection of craft beer that is cold in bottles, non refrigerated to buy and take home, then they have their taps also. Definitely more of a community type seating but you can tuck yourself away if wanting something more private. Great happy hour spot!

Overall, not bad! Its a good spot with good beers. Games to play. TVs to watch. Outdoor seating. Sometimes a food truck is there. The only reason its not 5 stars is they have a high volume of beers, but not the best variety. But dont let that deter you. You will find good beer.

This is a place you should check out. They have a very impressive selection of draft and bottled beers with an inviting space that is dog friendly, which is a big plus for dog owners that want to bring their furry kids out without having to sit outside in the chilly weather. They have a nice outside space as well, with cornhole boards and outside heaters. They also have food trucks (I was there when they hosted the @portableportugy) and daily specials and features. The crowd was diverse and of all age ranges, very easy going. Overall, a great experience.

Great local bar! Fantastic beer selection that is always updated on their website. Bar has two TVs, board games by the door, ping pong table in the back, corn hole outside, and a fire pit outside when its chilly. They expanded their outdoor space so its a great place to go in nice weather. They also have heaters in case its a bit chilly. Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly, they really make it an enjoyable place to come. They have food trucks almost every day, the schedule is always updated on their website. They also frequently have fun events like their annual chili cook-off, markets in the spring, run club, etc. Love this place!

This place is great. They have a huge selection of NC beers to choose from plus other craft beers from across the country. I love how the store is organized with all NC beers together and then the rest of the store is grouped by type of brew. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations and assisting me as it was my first time in the store. I also like how they have many options of either cold or room temperature beer and you can buy it in singles or as packs, makes for a great way to try something new. Unfortunately I dont like in NC anymore but every time I return to visit I will be sure to stop by here and load up on beer.

Friendly place with a ton of taps, large beer selection, cooler with called and bottled beer. Great outdoor patio with tons of picnic tables. There are cigars and you often find people outside enjoying a beer and cigar. They have love music, trivia nights and the space can be rented. Ample parking.

This is one of my favorite local spots. Not only are the bar tenders and owners willing to go above and beyond to provide great service, but theyre friendly to boot. They have a great selection of beers that changes weekly. I go here multiple times a week!

When we moved to the northwest of Raleigh from downtown we were disappointed we would be losing our usual haunts. Luckily this place exists. With a great staff and loads of rotating beers, taps and bottles/cans, I’m never let down. They run weekend events and have food trucks daily. This bottle shop/ beer house is a treasure in northwest Raleigh.

Stopped by here on a whim, intrigued by the logo with the hops. This place is cozy and adorable with an impressive tap selection and even cigars! A bit easy to miss, but worth going out of your way for. I appreciated the friendly service and conversation checking out.

LOVE House of Hops! Staff will take the time to ensure you find a beer that youll like and will chat with you about their selection, your day, etc. Due to this, you shouldnt come here if youre in a hurry or are expecting fast, impersonal service. Their trivia is my favorite in the area, but many other people feel the same way, so get early if you want a decent seat! Ive also hosted a birthday party here using their back room and it was very easy to work with HOH, set up, and have a sizable group together. Would definitely recommend to beer snobs and newbies alike.

Beers were around $6 and up. The first time we went there were a ton of dogs. Very cool set up with things on draft, in fridges and in dry storage. We were stoked to see Harpoons Dunkin Porter on draft the first time we went. Will be going back there soon.
