My girlfriend and I bought a 2001 Camry about 6 months ago and Ive waited to post this for these fine folks and Im very pleased with it. I use it every single day to commute back and forth to work. The ONLY problem I had was the ignition lock cylinder going out about a month ago. I give 5 stars because of price and customer service and its something that could easily be over looked and these things happen on older cars. It cost me 55 dollars and maybe a hour of my time. All in all very satisfied and would highly recommend.

*UPDATE: After the below review, I contacted Ford. There is a recall on this 2012 Ford Focus transmission. I was only notified of a recall by Alpha Auto on a minor door latch, you think Russell only knew about one recall and not both? Theres a class action lawsuit against Ford right now for the issues Im having, but my car has too many miles to qualify for the repair! Im screwed again! Really convenient I was only notified about a door latch that doesnt ruin the functionality of the car. Currently working with lemon law lawyer as I suffered misrepresentation by Alpha Auto not having this transmission recall disclosed to me. I wouldnt have bought it! Funny Russell at Alpha Auto actually mentioned Ford trying to hide recalls after I complained the transmission failed, Im sure he knew about it! Check the Better Business Bureau website for this company, Im not the first to have purchased a lemon!*TERRIBLE! I BOUGHT A 2012 FORD FOCUS AND LESS THAN A MONTH AND A HALF LATER THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAILING. OWNER DIDNT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH CALLING ME BACK AND ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I AM NOW A SINGLE MOM WORKING 2 JOBS AND GOING TO SCHOOL WITH NO VEHICLE, ONLY BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE DUE TO SOMEONE CRASHING ME AND TOTALING MY PREVIOUS CAR, USED INSURANCE MONEY PAID OUT ON THIS ONE! 5K DOWN THE DRAIN! NO SYMPATHY OR CONCERN. WHEN TOLD BAD REVIEW WOULD BE LEFT, I WAS THREATENED TO BE SUED FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH. OWNER ALSO REFUSES TO PROVIDE PROOF OF INSPECTION TO SHOW CAR WAS INSPECTED PROPERLY AFTER I VERIFIED HE IN FACT HADNT HAD IT INSPECTEDAT FORD LIKE HE SAID HE HAD. OWNER NOW TRYING TO SAY MAYBE MY DRIVING CAUSED THIS TRANSMISSION TO FAIL AFTER LESS THAN A MONTH AND A HALF WITH 135K MILES ON IT! NOT SURE WHAT REALLY HAPPENED HERE OTHER THAN ME BEING WITHOUT A CAR NOW, BUT JUST IN CASE THEY KNOWINGLY SOLD A LEMON (WHICH ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS SHOW ME THIS PROOF THAT IT WAS INSPECTED) WATCH OUT AND MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR PROOF OF INSPECTIONS FIRST!*EDIT: The owners reply to my review is incorrect. My rant? Real compassionate. I called when my car was in the shop 1 1/2 months after purchase and told him Id call him backafter the shop looked at it, I did. During that phone call, he said hed call me back after he checked with his mechanic who checked the car at Ford. He never called back and I was nice enough to wait until this car was just no longer usable to finally call him back, a business person saving face isnt going to admit to their mistakes on a review, right? And I have the phone call record to prove this. I actually called Ford and there was never an inspection done there like I was told! When I presented this fact to him, suddenly he uses a private mechanic to perform inspections but that he doesnt have to show me documentation to prove it. Who is this mechanic? Is he legit? Did he even inspect it? If I saw proof he didnt knowingly sell a lemon, I would have left it at that.Also, I was threatened to be sued and was on a recorded line when I said my friends would leave bad reviews, too. Buy hes upset he was threatened with bad reviews dismissing the only reason that is happening is because initially IM UPSET AS THE VICTIM OF A LEMON which impacts my work, parenting, my whole life. I cant afford this bad sale! So Im the jerk to have a reaction to his bad car?Bottom line this transmission was done for within 3 months, he doesnt deny that. If he wants to not remember or admit how the events unfolded or if there was miscommunication, he did still sell a lemon and refuses to prove he had it properly inspected first!Anyone would be upset, and I was calm about this with him. Also, a 5-10 minute test drive, so? Claiming I wouldnt let him speak is ridiculous. He hung up on ME, then blocked any further attempts to calmly communicate. Still havent gotten proof of inspection, why hide this?ARE YOU DENYING THE CAR ISNT A LEMON?

Never buy a car from here. I bought a car from him after my parents bought 2 from him and had great business. He sold me a car and two weeks later it broke down on the side of the road. I called him and he said it wasnt his fault and did not want any thing to do with the car any more. If it was not for his attitude my family was going to buy many more cars from him, but we will never go there again.

Thoroughly upset that we were planning to buy a car from him and the car was sold as we were communicating with him about the car. I guess your word as a dealer (russell) doesnt mean anything. If i wouldnt have called before driving down to pueblo from colorado springs i would have wasted time and gas. We were trying to get the car days before but it was being worked on. Ive lost trust and respect for this establishment. Think twice before purchasing from there.
