I don’t usually write reviews, but this one was a must. I am retired and can honestly say that I have never had a more pleasant experience buying a car. Max and Adriana were both extremely helpful, kind, and considerate of my wants and needs. I talked to Adriana one day by phone and drove to Pueblo the next day. She was not available, so Max took over. When the car I went to see did not work out, Max immediately asked me what I needed and what were my must-haves. He then brought out a car that was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this dealership and especially Max Layton for making my experience so pleasant. Everyone that I dealt with did everything they could to accommodate me and my dog that I had to bring with me.

Horrible. Came to trade in my car, thought it would be a great place knowing I bought a car there 3 years ago. The sales guy was super pushy, like he had something better to do. He was on his phone the whole time, talking on the phone and did not acknowledge the consumer(me) that was standing in front of him. He was sharing super personal business with us about another costumer and why the costumer couldn’t leave the lot with a car. I wouldn’t want my business to be shared with strangers. I highly do not recommend this place, I guarantee you’ll find another dealership that will treat you with respect and actually want to sell you a car with their full attention! Let me just say, my wife and I bought TWO vehicles from SW Motors within a six month period, and both experiences were outstanding. Jerry Pineda was the sales associate both times and he was polite, knowledeable and concerned for our well being. At no time did we feel like just another buyer. The first purchase (my wifes) was pretty straight forward, paid an honest price and got an honest amount on her trade. Mine was a little more involved, took several days of negotiating, but Jerry was always responsive, even on his day off! That, to me, says a lot. He went above and beyond to be sure. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family, and I will return when the need arises.

When I bought my first car at 18 after just getting my license I was 100% ripped off. I paid way too much for a car with many problems. I even paid extra for the extended warranty but they refused to help me with basic things such as a tire leakage (which was there when I bought it). So when my Honda finally crapped out I was pretty apprehensive about buying another car. My friend recommended this place. She took me in and Mike was super friendly. I told him I wanted something low maintenance, fairly new, and something small but 4 door. He literally chose the car I had in mind. He was very friendly and walked us through the whole procedure. I told him I wanted my monthly payments to be about $200 and he helped bring it down. I had a very enjoyable experience. 10/10 would recommend

Working as a title and registration clerk for years I knew Southwest Motors sold more vehicles than anyone in Pueblo and now I know why. Nice vehicles, great prices, and salesmen like Mike Peterson. My young son needed a new vehicle to commute to work. Not long after we started looking around Mike came out to greet us. I met Mike at the front door. I had a 1:00 appointment. He had a good firm handshake, which my grandfather always said was a good thing. I found out a little bit later that he was a Marine and now disabled veteran. I am also a disabled veteran, so that eased some stress for me. I told him what I was looking for and we looked at a couple trucks. I found the one I liked and he went to work. He got me priced for under retail. He kept me abreast of every step and we chatted a lot. He has pics of his family on his desk and I liked that hes a family man as well. When all was said and done I was happy with his price, the truck, the whole experience in general. I was out the door in an hour and a half with another firm handshake. Mike is in no way the typical idea of a used car salesman. He is honest and trustworthy and cares about the customer. I would totally recommend Mike if anyone is looking for a good experience.

Misleading sales tactics: When I purchased a vehicle I was informed that although the vehicle had low enough miles and was new enough the original factory warranty would not be honored because the vehicle came from Canada. I was offered a warranty plan as an alternative. I was very intentional and asked if it was bumper to bumper and would cover everything the factory warranty would. I was told yes it was bumper to bumper and was the same as the what the one would get buying the car new. That was a flat out lie and it is not a bumper to bumper warranty plan. They knew that at least a period of bumper to bumper warranty was important to me to purchase the vehicle and lied to close the sale. Buyer beware.
