Nice product overview. They have an actual stitchery desk to embroider your stuff while you buy. Nice and airy with open doors to the outside temperature, it is the ideal place to sample.

Fantastic customer service. I spent an hour in there trying to fit stuff from my old bag into their ones to see which held my stuff the best. They kept asking if I needed help, and answered all the questions I have. Also the brand has some really nice perks on some items like lifetime warranty, free waxing to maintain water resistance, and more. The store also looks great.

I have been a long time customer of Fjallraven, I have majority of the coats from the legacy line as well as plenty of the newer styles. My coats from the legacy line have withstood the elements and freezing cold. Finally after years of wearing them, some of them had to be repaired. Miguel the tailor was absolutely amazing! He fixed 5 of my jackets and did a superb job, whether it was zipper replacements or patching holes, the jackets look and function as brand new now.The store manager Moe is amazing and is all about the customer and with his leadership, the employees that report to him are just as amazing. Sterling helped me on my last trip to the store and I ended up buying 4 more jackets. Sterlings customer service and attention to detail were amazing. Moe and Sterling did everything in their power to make sure that my experience was top of the line. Employees like them are the reason I will continue to frequent this store!

This store is big, bright, clean, and very inviting to be in. Beyond the asthetics, however, the most beautiful thing about this place is the staff. Yes the staff! Very helpful, very friendly, and knowledgeable of their product line.Just to give you an idea as to the extent of service I received, Linda, Lucas, Sarah, and Jake, all came together to help me buy 1 pant. 😂🤣 Linda was the first to greet me and offer help. I believe shes ethnically Swedish too because I was getting schooled on the pronunciation. 😆 She taught me how to pronounce Skogso properly. Then Lucas came to help with fitting when Linda was occupied with another customer. I mustve tried on over half a dozen pairs of pants in that place.The issue was that the thighs run a bit tight. I guess its European sizing and Americans seem to have thicker thighs maybe? Lucas mentioned tailoring service that comes with the purchase. Great! Im leaving NYC in a few days and wouldnt be able to pick it up. 😭 So.......we can mail it to you. Its $10 but you get 10% discount for trying on pants in the store. That can neutralize the shipping fee. Well.......no reason not to buy it at that point right?The tailor was on his lunch break so I needed to come back in an hour to get fitted. Change of plans, couldnt make it back in time. Went back during the weekend. Linda and Lucas wasnt working. Sarah stepped in now, helped me find the pants I want, and brought me to Jake for tailoring. Rather then the 3-5 days, Jake had it ready in 1 day! Refunded the shipping fee, and I walked out of the store a very very happy customer.I never got the chance to thank Linda nor Lucas but they were great. Fjallraven merchandise can get very pricey very fast, but as a flagship store, they really do quiet a wonderful job making sure customers leave with something they are happy with. If you are familiar with the Fjallraven line, stop by this store. Even if you dont buy anything, seeing their best on display is well worth the time.

The staff are very friendly and helpful!Gone twice recently. I had ordered online for pickup in store and I got a $50 gift card to be used anytime in store before November. Before I went, I called to make sure they had the products in the color I wanted and they had put it aside for me to pickup whenever. They may not have everything in store that they do online!Theres not much people at the store both times I went, so you dont have to worry about it being crowded or waiting to get help from a staff.Also, when you come in, you are greeted with a temperature check and available hand sanitizer by the table side.

Great gear for the winter time! This is one of the only places that sells a few versions of Hestra gloves- the best gloves for outdoor winter adventures. Most of their clothing is meant to stand up for heavy use and can be conditioned to be waterproof at home. Some of the clothing has a very abrasive feel which I do not like. Great hats!!

Great customer service at this location. I had bought a Fjallraven bag roughly five years ago at a different location. I used my bag every day for work and school, and literally fill it to the brim. The stitching ripped at the bottom. I came to this store, and they fixed it in a week free of charge. Absolutely love this brand! The workers were very respectful and knowledgeable.

New York flagship of a scandinavian brand. Excellent quality products, and their store associates will do anything to help you. I didnt know what type of jacket I wanted but they were willing to let me try on 4 different ones and go back and look for sizing as well. Great alternative to the overly popular Canada goose jackets. Will definitely look to shop here in the future for other products as well.

The store staff is really helpful and knowledgeable on their products. They will demo how to apply the was of needed and know which jackets benefit from was and which are not required. Ive gotten two jackets from here and have loved both!

MeahThe store was fine, the staff, while friendly, was not ideal.I went in to buy a specific bag and was told they didn’t have it/it was being discontinued (even though I checked online before coming down). It was not until after the staff member showed me a similar bag and I expressed disappointment at one of the functional elements, that suddenly the original bag I had come in to purchase was brought forth for me. Why couldn’t I have been shown the bag that I specifically requested from the beginning? I had already done my research online and knew what I wanted.Similarly, one of the T-shirts I wanted was out of stock in my size (Medium). The salesperson insisted I’d be happy with a Large, telling me the sizes can run small. It wasn’t until I showed that a Small fits (albeit tighter than I prefer) that they stopped trying to sell me the wrong size.Mistakes are no problem, but I don’t appreciate salespeople who focus on the bottom line - customer satisfaction should be the priority, not numbers. Had I bought the suggested bag and size T-shirt I would have been disappointed in my purchases, which is no way to create a return customer.I ordered the Medium tee online and it performed wonderfully on my 210km bike trip (as did the bag).

I had such high hopes for the rucksack no.21 medium backpack (given cost & other reviews), but it has disappointed me beyond compare. While it is pretty, it is not designed well in my opinion. The side compartments can barely hold a standard 12oz. can. This is while the pack is both empty and full. When one of the side compartments is full the other is useless at it will barely expand to hold anything. It states that it holds up to 15 laptop but it is soo tight (too tight) then the bag can barely fit anything else. I took the tags off my bag, gave it a spin around the city, and decided it was not the bag for me. Was not allowed to return it even though it cost $175. I should have done more research and purchased from any other source for half the price. That is what stings me the most, the price at other retailers for the same bag is substantially less, but the company will not acknowledge it. I regret buying this bag everyday I where it. Such a rip off.

I was walking past on a lovely Sunday morning, waiting for REI to open. I came across the store by accident. I walked in, first person greeted me with a warm welcome and gave me some history on the brand. I walked around looking at some of the gear. Henri came over and helped me out explaining the various styles, fabrics, and uses of each piece. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and helped me in finding the right gear to suit my needs.

Love the clothing! Nice store, clean, organized, large selection! So glad I had a chance to visit it!

Meaningless lifetime warranty that is not honored. My second bag has failed with a broken zip in one year and the last one fell apart(also after one year) but was not repaired because it was deemed ‘wear and tear’. I will not be supporting brand any longer. How is a bag with a “lifetime warranty” only expected to last 12 months?

The products are top notch for top price, very comparable to REI. The staff at this store are all exceptionally nice and friendly. They went WAY out of their way to help me and get the right gear. Will definitely be spending more time and $$ here.

We have had a great experience at both the Fjallraven NYC stores - Soho and Nolita.Not only because we like the clothing, but the staff there have always been friendly, happy, engaged, attentive and very enthusiastic about the products and sharing them with you (if you want to know about them).The staff have never been pushy and give you space and time to shop.Always happy when we leave the store, whether we have bought anything or not.

I love this store! Its hard to find a Fjallraven stockist in the UK that has a large variety of their goods but this place has it all. Its well laid out and easy to find in SoHo and the service is always excellent. Fjallraven clothing is some of the best out there so this is well worth a visit.

I dont know about the cider and cookies another reviewer mentioned. I bought 2 reKanken bags here. Employees were nice. The only caveat is that they didnt have much stock of different colors of the bags. I had to choose from what they have.

Customer service is great the store is full of nice clothing and hiking shoes and bags, prices are a bit high but I think the quality of the product allows it. You can try on parkas, jackets, sweaters and anything you want.

Awesome store bought one of their backpacks here. However a good majority of the things here are literally over $100 just to mention.

This is a Swedish outdoor clothing stores. Prices are high and on par with Patagonia store on the next block on the same street. However it does not have a large product line. I also found the sales persons not so knowledgeable but they were friendly.

We had visited the Nolita store a few minutes before visiting this store. What a difference in service and professionalism. We were looking for a certain vest that was not available at the Nolita store. The guys working were not too interested in assisting us. Also there was another guy that garnered their attention more than ours. One would think if customers come in carrying shopping bags from its sister store just a few minutes walk away youd go above and beyond to assist them in order for them to make their purchases. We were left just standing by the Christmas tree wondering what tree F*&% was going on. We walked out as all of the employees were surrounded this one guy. Below par service. Visit the Nolita Store. 5 thumbs down.

Ethically and sustainably made. I was first introduced to Fjallraven in Sweden. You no longer need to travel to Scandinavia to get your fix of Fjallraven. Just pop into this flagship store and cop yourself new gear for winter/summer or the next adventure just around the corner!

My favorite outdoor clothing shop!

Technical gear here is so high quality, from material, to stitching, right down to the cut... I work on a variety of scaffolds and lifts, at great height, and Fjällräven has withstood all my punishment, whereas EMS and Marmot have torn and worn beyond repair. The fact that theres a lifetime waranty on all clothing makes the purchase price worth it. They even wax the g1000 gear free.

Im a big fan of Fjall Raven. Its got a lot of potential but frankly it cant stand up to Filsons but still overall a great brand. Wasnt really thrilled with the NY Epic shop. Its not a flagship shop as they say. The staff was very kind. Not exceptionally knowledgeable in outdoor clothing. The shop really is catered to urban-wear.The Amsterdam store really is amazing. Highly recommend stoping in there.

Sale stuff scattered about.theres even a giant usa flag made out of kanken packs. Free waxing station for any fjallraven products you would want to seal (or even non-fjallraven products.) Highly recommend checking this place out.
