Solid service and very good food. I had a problem only one time and the owner responded to my concern right away. A+ service in person and always friendly. For delivery just make sure you confirm your order back to them to make sure they get it right. Great spot for the community

The prices are very high for a diner. The food is good though. More of a Greek diner, doesn’t have potato latkes, which I really wanted. Their breakfast sandwiches are good.

Very nice / friendly service. My coffee cup was kept filled and the waitress treated me kindly. I had the pastrami and eggs, and honestly the pastrami was a little tough. But the flavor was very good. What I really liked, was that I was not in the mood for potatoes and they offered me half a sliced avocado as a replacement. Everyone needs to do this.

It is a very noisy corner which takes away from the outdoor dining experience. I think it is overpriced for basically diner food...but it is convenient and good quality food. Very nice waiter staff.....glad they survived the pandemic.

Horrible experience. This restaurant did not bring or fill up our waters when we asked. The food was stale, the condiments were expired, and the waiters never approached our table. When we complained, they refused to offer any help or apology. Do not come here

Lovely little spot near the UN

My friends and I just moved here and have already found our favorite spot for every meal. The food is delicious and fresh (especially their juicy burgers), the service is professional and they treat you like you are family. Paola is our favorite server, he always goes above and beyond... there is always more than one person to check up on you to make sure you get everything you need or want... I really can’t say enough about this place. They have heaters above you for outside seating. It is located in the most perfect place. Everything is extremely clean. You will not be disappointed if you choose to eat here!!!!

We literally bumped into the place and it was absolutely worth it! We had breakfast and it was big portions which was very satisfying. The French toast was so good. The hash browns were crisped just right. Highly recommend for breakfast. As soon as I have lunch or dinner, Ill definitely post. Enjoy!!!

I just moved to the neighborhood and this restaurant is always packed with people and has great outdoor seating. The waitstaff was extremely attentive, bringing us hand sani and water immediately and quickly. The manager even brought my girlfriend a chair for her purse! However, the food was just ok. I love chocolate-chip pancakes and these were very dense without sufficient butter. I enjoyed the omelet but again the onions were underdone. This is not a bad breakfast by any means but I will not be rushing back. In the future, I will order the silver dollar pancakes instead!

I use to live on the same street in the 90’s, and loved this dinner. I had a western omelette with cheese and a large orange juice. My bill was $30.23 before tip!!! For a dinner breakfast. $35 total. I can buy a gourmet Banh Mi sandwich for lunch that is a helluva lot more tasty for $7.95 near by. This restaurant is why people move to Brooklyn. Disgraceful gouging the locals in the neighborhood. I hope the place fails miserably!!!!Food mediocre at best!

This is a basic diner. Get in, order, eat, be on your merry way. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is as described on the menu and portions are filling. A bit pricey in my opinion but perhaps Im being frugal. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up in convenience.

A block from my apartment...this is my go to for fresh, well prepared food...not fussy, just good food, generous portions. Management and staff are very courtesy, know the regulars. They care about their customers. Delivery available and open very early and late (pre covid era). Spotless answer well maintained dining room. Have made a very nice effort with outdoor dining...new tables and chairs, plants, station setups. They also have the most outrageous 7 layer chocolate cake! Diner food at a higher level.

Food was fine but prices are obscene. I was charged $36.50 for a takeout order of a tuna fish sandwich and lox and cream cheese on a bagel. When I was told the charge I expressed frustration and asked if it was correct and the price was confirmed by the two staff members present. Also no sides of fries or chips included. I understand times are hard but this effects all of us. I feel robbed.

Not long before it closes, I am afraid that old charm will be lost forever.

Really good food. If you go off hours it is much better. Overall service is good, a lot of food, but the prices are ridiculously high. What I do is go for a late breakfast or lunch, eat half and then Eat the rest for dinner. I still don’t get how a diner can charge as much as a fancy restaurant and get away with it. It is Manhattan!

Service and portions and prices and location are all five star level... but the food is just not.Most dishes in the telephone-book size menu are pretty forgettable: stick only to the breakfast items especially the pancakes.Omelets are gigantic... but only passable. The other breakfast items are decent.Still, remember everything else is great about this place ... worth trying to see if you can find the sweet spot on the menu.

Huge menu and so far, everything Ive tried is delicious! The deli burger is my favorite. A huge yummy burger topped off with thin sliced pastrami. Served with thousand island dressing. The desserts are really tasty too. It has that old school diner vibe and is usually bustling with locals. This is a great place if you want guaranteed good food time after time.

Great place, fab food and very good service .... We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids, great welcome. Lunch special at 17$ included it all - soup, coleslaw, the Hero, fries and even tea or coffee. The portions are huge (brought some back home). Went back next day for dinner, had great steaks, etc still huge portions and excellent freshly made quality. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff.

Sat down and had to leave before we ordered. The prices are unbelievably high especially for a diner. A breakfast for two with no mimosas or alcohol involved should not be $60+. One egg is $8.75! Toast for $4 and mozzarella sticks for $15! Too many places around to waste your time here. Wish I could give less than one star!

Classic and reliable diner fare, but at geriatric midtown east/UN Delegate pricing.Today I ordered a spinach and cheese (T)omelette with nothing on the side—no hashbrowns or toast, just coffee.The bill comes, and I notice its $18.50, which is the price they charge for their deluxe omelettes with the aforementioned customary sides. I, perhaps naively so, figured my price would be closer to the $14.50 realm the other (T)omelettes were priced at considering I didnt order anything but 3 (Gr)eggs, spinach, and cheese.However, that wasnt the case as the manager explained to me sans any sense of tact or awareness—everything is priced the same regardless if you got the sides. I explained that this is a ridiculous policy, and that many places would normally amend the price accordingly, to which he shrugged. My coffee wasnt even comped or anything.I gave up, vowing never to come back to this predatory establishment again, and paid my $22(!) for a 2 ingredient (T)omelette and got the rock outta there.Dishonest pricing, but generally nice employees and solid food.

Food was fine, service friendly. The prices are high for a New York diner and the food wasnt as good as other diners in the area. We had a tuna salad and an order of pancakes. They have a lot of choices, and many dinner entrees. Its a huge menu. Many of the dinner choices run over $30, more than nicer nearby restaurants. What we had didnt tempt me to go back and try the fancier fare. The place is big, bright and clean and on a corner with lots of windows, which is nice.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! First of all the food if WAAY too expensive for sub-par diner food, but that wasn’t the worst part. The waiter had THE worst attitude, messed up our food, hovered over us when the bill came, told us to leave him a good tip, and then had the audacity to ask what tip we were leaving him as we were still signing the bill! We had to ask him to leave us alone while we were trying to sign the check and leave. We gave him a poor tip, as deserved, and then he FOLLOWED ME AND MY FRIENDS FOR A BLOCK AND A HALF yelling at us. It was the weirdest, worst experience I ever had. If you go there and get an elderly gentleman as a waiter, with little teeth, RUN!!! Zero stars if I could give it. Save your money and dignity and literally eat anywhere else.

A great place for diner-style brunch. Plenty of good food. Im told the bloody marys are excellent, though I dont like them so cant vouch personally. I love their waffles and chocolate chip pancakes, as well as my standard diner breakfast of corned beef hash and eggs. The place is packed on weekends for brunch but they get people in and out quickly so Ive never had to wait too long.

Dont go, prices are not up dated on internet, quite expensive, 10$ a bottle beer, food is Ok big portions but is not the best on the block. Go somewhere else.

Dining alone seems like the norm here. So thats great. I went here with my grandma about 8 years ago and 5 years ago and then now with my dad today and youve got to admire the consistency its always the same. The menu is long. They have a restroom.

Staff was friendly and moved very quickly to take care of customers. Reasonable prices, good food. We ate here a few times. Largely local retiree residents rather than office workers. Love this place! If youre looking for huge portions at the right price, this is definitely where you should go. Most of their dishes can be shared between 2 people. They have special menus for brunch, lunch and dinner which include extra dishes like salads, cole slews, pickles, or soup, amongst others. Their desserts are definitely a must, huge size and excellent flavor. The same can be said about their burgers; definitely try the Mexican one. The only thing that I personally dont like is that not all of their dishes taste that well, but I guess this is just a matter of personal opinion.

HUGE and perfectly cooked omelettes and the BEST hashbrowns (which also come in a large portion)! This is the best value diner in the area including the UES. Even the weekend wait times are short to nonexistent. Highly recommended for breakfast any time of the day!

We order-in for bday celebrations at our office. They are so nice to work with and bake fresh pies daily upon your request! The lemon meringue is out of this world and these pies are SO BIG!

Great Diner atmosphere, good neighborhood location. A little pricey, but I think this just NYC pricing. The amount and quality of food was great. Kids spaghetti was enough for two adults, their corndbeef and pastrami shot sandwich was great and was enough for two meals. You need to save room for their housemade desserts, their Napolean was outstanding and enough for 4-6 people.

Come hungry! Madison Restaurant has an extensive menu and offers breakfast all day. The portions are large and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and offer quick service. I went on a Friday afternoon for a late brunch. It was fairly busy, but there was no wait to be seated. Try the waffle sundae with 2 scoops of ice cream, walnuts, whipped cream, hot fudge, and a cherry or opt for one of the many omelette choices. I would, without a doubt, go back again.
