This place is a treat for vegans. I got their Amazing Avocado wrap to start my day and, it was a good choice. They have a small space with very few tables. Their orders are mostly takeouts. Their staff are polite and, their service was fast. The dishes on their menu are not expensive. This a good choice if youre looking to try vegan food.

I was craving vegan junk food and VLife had exactly what I needed. I got the Beyond Breakfast Sandwich that is V-ham, firm tofu, potato fries, and tapioca cheese and a Triple Chocolate Brownie.I walked in to order for takeout I was second in line to order and waited about 10-15 minutes for my food, which is reasonable considering it has to be cooked.The food was delicious! I especially liked the tapioca cheese on the sandwich.Its a little pricey at $11 for the sandwich and $5 for the brownie; however, its nothing exorbitant and its worthwhile if you have the cash to spare.They have a wide variety of menu options ranging from junk food to healthy food so you can get whatever suits your mood.The sitting area is very small. It didnt impact me because I was ordering for takeout, but its something to keep in mind if you want to dine-in.

Stopped here right before leaving NYC for a meal for the trip back, and Im glad we did. A long list of options of salads, sandwiches, drinks and desserts, and you can build your own sandwich or wrap if none of them suit you. At reasonable prices, this is a great quick stop in for lunch on the run.

Being my first time to this place I was excited to try it. I ordered one of the “hearted” burgers on their menu because I was told it was a popular item. It was the Cheerful Chickpea. I found it to be less than cheerful. The patty itself is rather bland but edible. I think it needed more of a “kick”. Cheese was fine but the real disappointment was the tomato and lettuce, which were mostly nonexistent as you can see in the attached photo. No fries or side included so I feel that the 10.95 price tag is a little high for something so lacking.I also order the Açaí Superfood smoothie and that was pretty tasty. Maybe the burgers aren’t really their specialty.

Quick service but they need to work on hygiene. I saw fruit flies flying around my plate.The overall presentation wasnt impressive at all. Corn dog wasnt good and buffalo wings were average I wouldnt go back again.

So many delicious sounding options! I had a hard time deciding, but luckily I went with a group of friends and was able to taste plenty of dishes. The Noble Nuggets were pretty good, but the Crispy Tofu was the best! Large portion for the price. A side of miso soup for only $1 wasnt even necessary as I could barely finish the main course. The bubbles in the bubble tea had very little to no flavor. A bit disappointing, but the mango tea was nice. Overall, a great spot with great pricing.

This is a all Vegan spot that has absolutely delicious, food, drinks, and desserts. Start with a Avocado Quesadilla and a Ginger Black Tea ;)

Ive been to a quite a few vegan spots and this one definitely deserved a review for its unhygienic food. I ordered the spicy Kung Pao and the greens still had mud on it. The rice was soaked in oil and the peanuts were pungent.

Great food! I got the spicy soy wrap. The breaded soy protein is delicious and clearly they were generous with it. I personally would ask for more veggies in the wrap next time. Great service and prices though, although its very small with 3 tables. Great for a quick inexpensive meal near penn station.

Amazing vegan food. You HAVE to try the Sweet and Sour Sesame Platter. Kinda pricey but worth it.

Really good rice bowl. The sit and sauce was good. Could have used some flavor on the rice perhaps most of the flavor came from the sauce. Pretty cozy and got pretty busy but my friend and I managed to snag a seat. Not the most diverse drink selection, but sufficient with some stuff you dont see regularly at other places.

This place is constantly busy and there is good reason why! Food is really tasty and fresh. The peppersteak sandwich and buffalo drumsticks are my favorite. It can sometimes be a bit of wait though for food, so either plan on waiting for a bit or order ahead of time :)I wish they would expand or open another location. We need more great vegan spots!

So I recommend this spot for really healthy take out lunches! My one gripe about this place is that whether you are ordering in or picking up you need to stand in the same line. They clearly cant do anything about this limitation given the hallway that they operate in. I mention it so that you can be prepared for the reality and plan for it when picking up. See you in line!

Brilliant vegan food in the heart of NYC. So nice to have some veggies rather than fake meat all the time! Would highly recommend. Their wraps are delish and perfect size. Not too expensive either!

Some of the best vegetarian/vegan food Ive had. The vegan cheese on the mushroom burger was better than most real cheeses Ive had and now Im on the hunt to find where I can buy it myself. The appetizer was great and the sauce that came with it was delicious. Drinks were phenomenal, too. Just go. Dont think about it. Just go and see for yourself.

The spices and options were good, but the constant ringing of the employees phone, the warm juice, and the onion that was inedible in my wrap made it a less than ideal experience. Ill still give it a favorable rating as it was a tasty meal, and Id be willing to give it another shot. Also their spicy isnt even comparable with mild in the curry wrap.

Everything here is delicious! Theres not really anywhere to sit inside, though, so you may not want to come with a huge crowd or expect to stay super long. From my experience, everyone who works here is very nice.

Great little and I emphasize little, place on the edge of midtown. Much needed vegan venue. Many gluten free options. I enjoyed the Easy V cheesy with a salad. My bf tried the Humble Hawaiian with fries. Many of the selections are breaded and fried. Also be weary, many of the dressings have a vegan mayo base. This is by no means a low calorie venue. My bf said the fries were quite crispy and lovely. I also ordered coconut bubble tea that had not resemblance to tea, and was way too sweet to even drink. The staff was kind enough to remake it and it was still sweet but much better. Definitely recommended!

Have been here many times and I have recommended VLife to many others who agreed with my positive review. Not everything on their menu is awesome but some items are exceptional. Try crispy mushrooms, eggplant wrap. As others have written, their sauces are amazing and their customer service is very good. The deserts are also really incredible, I look forward to my next visit!

I had to pick up some food for my son and it was super easy. My son loves the food from there, he is a vegan and claims its on of the best take-out vegan place as in midtown, very close to Penn station and not far from the bus terminal.

The food here is consistently good. The people working are polite and patient. Space is small, but not cramped. Not exactly clean tables to be honest, but otherwise everything seemed very organized and customer-friendly

Vlife don’t get the credit nor recognition they deserve 4 the amazing menu they craft daily. It’s some of the best vegan food you’ll ever eat. If U go there, don’t pass in the Philly pepper steak. U MUST get the complimentary Cajun fries, but tell them light on the Cajun, theyre a little heavy handed back there. I sincerely hope they expand and open up more establishments. This one is pretty tight

I recommend trying the buffalo wings, which comes on a stick. Its really good. Ive tried a couple of salads and bowls which are filling but taste bland sometimes. Try to go at off hours because there is very little seating, and no space to stand while waiting for take out.

If they had a bathroom for the public I would give it 5 stars. The chocolate cake was amazing! Good really good! I had to pee so bad and has to leave to find a bathroom. It should have a bathroom as a paying customer!

I love the cajun fries!! Their brown rice dishes are edible. I feel as though it was better in the past and not as good now. The protein needs more flavor or to be fried or cooked better. But the fries are worth it

Im not vegan but my wife is. If I had a place like this nearby, I certainly would switch. The food is superb. The interior is small and humble, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing. Give them a try whether youre vegan, vegetarian, or even if youre not!

Their cooked food is gross. I was vegan for many years (and stopped due to needing to temporarily follow a diet for medical reasons, but love the vegan diet). So Ill tell you as a VEGAN myself you can find much much better elsewhere. But they have Vegan Treats, which I like. I come for that, and that only.

Solid vegan restaurant, delicious and affordable. It is small and gets busy, so if youre in a hurry call ahead. You really cant go wrong with anything here. They even have gluten and soy free options.

After placing our order which apparently hadnt been started even after ten to fifteen minutes, they let us know that they just had a plumbing leak covering their kitchen floor and it was going to be an extended wait - we were going to catch the train and thus decided to ask for a refund and leave - they gave us a hard time about that - they claimed they couldnt print out a credit card refund - quite a disappointing poorly run place - we did, though, then go have an excellent experience at the Cinnamon Snail instead.

What a sweet little place! Just a block from my hotel, it was super handy. Had their black bean burger with avocado mayo (and could rest assured that everything was vegan, yay!) Staff was friendly, service was fast, and my fellow diners were great too. For someone like me who likes to sketch, there were a thousand things of interest to see and capture from my cozy bench seat as I looked out on Seventh Avenue.

Just been in with my 18yr old vegan daughter....weve been all over New York walking past all of the eateries and this little Gem was pretty much right across the street!! I ate too, but can say I would not have known it was vegan.We also took some cheesecake to go...my daughter has just said Its the best thing Ive eaten in 13 months of being vegan. She is so excited right now, I cant tell you....The cheesecake is amazing!!I think we may go in for breakfast in the morning!

I’m not even trying to be rude or mean but this is probably the worst vegan food I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve gone there 4 times and always ordered something different (hoping a different meal would taste better) and it just never tasted that great. I can barely cook but when I can, the food I make tastes 10x better and that says a lot. I’ve beeb to a bunch of other vegan spots before but this spot just turns me off from being a vegan.

I love the food from Vlife its very good, and it was very convenient since i used to work a few blocks down. the price wasnt that bad but it was still up there. if you are a heavy eater like myself {someone that eats heavy meals} its a bit harder for us to eat here but the taste of the food makes up for it

My poor experience with VLife started when I tried to call the store and place an order for pick up... I called 4 times and all of my calls went to voicemail. I wanted to go there myself and see if they were even open. When I walked in there were about 4 people there and the woman working the register was just blatantly ignoring all of the calls coming in. She didnt pick up a single call for the 45 - 60 minutes I was there and the phone was constantly ringing. By the time it was finally my turn to order, the woman at the register rudely expressed to me that it was going to be a 30 minute wait... I explained to her that I tried calling 4 times to order for pickup so I wouldnt run into this exact issue. She rudely replied back I cant answer the phone, Im busy... All I ordered was their chicken nuggets and fries.... which took 45 minutes... 2 of the most basic things on their menu. The people who ordered right before me had gotten their food, eaten, and left before I had received my chicken nuggets. After this hour long process I finally got my food and went back to my office to open the bag and find that I was mistakingly given a curry chicken wrap instead of fries. I checked the receipt and I was even charged for the curry chicken wrap. Unfortunately I do not like curry chicken so I ended up paying for something (overpriced) that I couldnt even eat. Customer service was poor and they cannot handle having more than 1 customer in their store.

The location is small and often busy, so probably plan on ordering to go. But the menu is fantastic. Theres a lot of variety and everything we ordered was delicious. Sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, and more.

What happened with you guys?! Used to love this place, now I couldnt buy a juice for $8.95 cause there is a $10 card purchase minimum? Ok, so I added french fries, to get over the limit and wasnt givven enough sauce, when asking for more, you want to charge me again?! Place also looked slopy, uncared off and the attendant obviously doesnt want to work there, short and grumpy in her tone. So sorry for this since I love the vegan menu! In sorry to having to say all this.

This place is AWESOME, Im not a Vegetarian but I promise this place made me reconsider my thoughts after having their Burger with the chipotle Mayo. Gosh and the fries are to die for. Im going to get a burger from this next weekend. Just wish they were close to me so I can walk to them everyday.

This hole in the wall has fantastic variety in vegan cuisine and the kicker is that all of the food tastes AMAZING. I have a ridiculously high bar when it comes to vegan food, and this one has become a go-to spot whenever Im anywhere near the neighborhood.
