Walked 13 minutes over there after calling to find them closed for a break and had to wait for them to reopen. With the pandemic they are only selling pre-made packages. In the smallest version you get six flavors. Red velvet, chocolate chip cookie dough, double fudge, tie-dye, some type of chocolate pancake, and cookie and cream. I only wanted two of them -_-They do say you can go online and order them to pick up in-store though.

I haven’t been here for years the cupcakes are still good but now I can’t chose what I want or how many I want of a specific flavor and they don’t take cash -_- it was very inconvenient I wanted to pay cash because it just got my budget and I had to use my card when they use to take cash before with no problem

A large variety of moist, flavoursome cupcakes. We visited the shop close to closing time and were surprised at how fresh they were still. Great for when you want something a bit sweet to end your night but are full after a meal. But dont be fooled, they are rather moreish.

I love to stop here when my day isnt the greatest. Its just as good as secks lol 😆

Omg love online service!!I delivered online for surprise my bf because we couldn’t stay together in this year bc of Covid-19. Delivery only took 3days even in Christmas week! Package was adorable and thoughtful. it contained cooling pack. And you can add message on gift.I recommend for gift melissa cupcake! I guess Everyone like it! Beth and I came here couple weeks ago for some mini tasty treats. Each cupcake is $1 and you get a discount if you order more. With each cupcake being a bite each, its enough to satisfy a sweet tooth without going overboard. The cupcakes are moist and super soft. I like the rainbow and red velvet cupcake. They occasionally have new seasonal flavors.

Ive always loved cupcakes and these teeny cakes do the trick! There is so much flavor packed into each one. I personally LOVE the tie dye, red velvet, cookie dough and recent wedding cake flavors. I cant get enough of Baked By Melissa and I love that theyre starting to open more locations. The service is always great. Im greeted with a smile even when things are a little busy and hectic. Stop in and at least try three, but I promise youll want more.

My experience at Baked by Melissa has been nothing short of delectable. The cupcakes are always fresh and scrumptious, and the staffers are always keeping us entertained with new monthly cupcakes. There is never a dull moment. From the minute I walk in, the wafting aroma of sweet is felt, and the workers are always polite. I highly recommend a trip to Baked by Melissa for any New Yorker or tourist.

NYC is over saturated with cupcake shops. What makes Baked by Melissa different? They offer only mini cupcakes, this way you can sample many different flavors and not commit to just one. They also package them perfectly so that you can travel easily with them and they wont mess up.

Ive been grabbing the box of 12 from various locations everytime either myself or someone I know visits NY. Theyre just so cute and tiny! If you havent had their cupcakes before, you should. Theyre these bite sized cupcakes that come in a range of flavors. You could easily eat a box of 12 in a single sitting. I know this because Ive done it a bunch of times. Dont judge me.

The chocolate milkshake cupcake was an unexpected delight of flavor in one light bite!! Highly recommend this exquisite must-go-to bakery, steps from Union Square. The six pack was perfect for our special occasion.

Excellent tiny cupcakes. So much flavor packed into a cupcake the size of a silver dollar. There are 10 or 11 standard flavors, and each month they have a limited edition cupcake. Downside is that there is no trying, no samples. You have to buy one to try it, and theyre $1.

Cupcakes are delicious, but they are so small (bite sized) and so expensive (one dollar per bite) that its hard to truly enjoy them. If they made the cupcakes larger and/or lowered the price, I would probably give this place a 4 star review. At this price point, there are better cupcake places in NYC.

The cupcakes are tiny but delicious, and they make a great gift. I like the tie dye, red velvet and peanut butter with chocolate the best. The stores have a nice layout and the packaging is very nice too!

They have the best chocolate corn flake desert!!Its so amazing and addicting also I recommend there lemon tart with meringue with a unique twist!

I have a huge sweet tooth and thats a real big problem. Some of the cupcakes around are nearly the size of my head. I can feel the onset of diabetes. This is why I love baked by Melissa. I can eat all the cupcakes I want and all the flavors I want without adding on 10lbs. I just wish other pastry shops or cupcake joints would join in, or at least make smaller cupcakes.

Their mini-cupcakes are quite suitable to bring to a dinner youre invited or a similar kind of gathering when you would like to take something in addition to a bottle of wine.

The mini macaroons and cupcakes were really good! My fav was the salted caramel macaroon and the hot fudge cupcake.

These Baked by Melissa cupcakes really annoy me. Theyre over-priced, too small to taste good or taste anything at all, and yet these stores are exploding all over Manhattan. I dont understand the phenomenon and dont think it can last, once people realize theres not much to these cupcakes. If youre worried about calories, just share a normal-sized couple -- that wouldnt be weird.

Good cupcakes, original flavors, love that they are bite sized.I just think they charge way too much for the portion size.But great for an office party or small treat.

My friends and I swear by BBM for all birthday celebrations. The tiny cupcakes are perfectly sized so that you dont feel like youre eating too much sugar. My favorites are red velvet and tie-dye (basically any of the ones with cream cheese frosting), but Ive found that the mini of the month is almost always amazing. They are happy to accommodate you with separate boxes for different flavors if you have any friends with allergies (e.g. nuts, chocolate).

Cupcakes only but with a lot of nice variety. You can consider healthy because of the size maybe;)

The addition of this location is super dangerous, as its an area I walk by more frequently. Hours seem to be later and the selection is the same solid selection I learned to love from their SoHo original spot. Their three pack is my favorite. This place is getting that ill hype, son. I went to see how gud melissa be at making cupcakes, and when i saw i was like dannnng, they mad small! I was thoroughly unimpressed with the quality, as I was expecting a much higher calibur due to the reviews I had heard. They are by no means ghetto or ratchet, but they do not stand up to the hype.

This place is a WASTE of time. They dont do a la carte due to COVID - NONSENSE. Many other bakeries do a la carte. DONT bother with this place.

The cupcakes are very sweet and for a dollar a piece (Macaroons 2USD) also okay in price. I personally dont like them at all, even though I love every kind of cake. Was there three times to try as many different varieties as possible but unfortunately I never really enjoyed it.

The very attentive service, the cupcakes are soft and very good. And now they offer very airtight boxes, ideal for bringing back in the suitcase.

The muffins are nothing special. And the price is very high. Nothing interesting around here.
