When most people think of Tiffany & Co they think of the exquisite jewelry, handbags, and dishware, but unless your thinking of the movie you dont think of breakfast or brunch! If your looking for a high end treat with that special someone, the Blue Box Cafe in Tiffany & Co provides a fun and memorable experience. The service was exceptional, and the food was beautifully presented, though the flavors were a little lacking for this pricey stop. Getting a reservation requires some well in advance planning, but it again it was a very memorable experience. We certainly enjoyed everything, but it would not be something we would do again as NYC has much better offerings for breakfast and brunch at the same or lower price point. Overall it was fun and worth at least a one time visit.

The staff at Tiffany & Co are extremely friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. After some shopping we headed to the Blue Box Cafe located on the 4th floor. You have to make reservations 30 days in advice. Make sure you set up an account and have an credit card on file so your reservation booking goes smoothly. The reservations are released daily at 9am sharp. They go very quickly! If you put your name on a notification list you will receive emails when spots become available due to cancellations. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Its Tiffany and the quality you should expect from the brand. But you should book in advance if you want to go, it only seats 39 and so many people rock up on the day hoping to get in... Wont happen.

(All my reviews are overall) For the strain of making a reservation, I thought the place was very nice and small but the food did not have the best flavors. I think the best part was the clean crisp water, smooth hot coffee and the fresh fruit. Seats were comfortable and wide. Small area kept the noise at a low level. Waiters were very professional and assisted in everything we needed. Besides that, its blue, its in Tiffanys and its small. All around, okay.

The experience was absolutely amazing! The waitlist is extremely hard to get on, but if you can get a reservation, you will love every minute of it. The food was very good, but the best part was just being able to look down at the street and see all the people passing by, and the historical “Tiffany Blue” themed cafe. The staff was very friendly and took pictures for us. Overall, it was a great time!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s was defiantly to be a highlight of our trip. We were definitely not disappointed and had a great time, I’m just not sure our experience matched the hype. The space is beautiful. You’re surrounded in jewels and served on stunning Tiffany dinnerware - something most of us wouldn’t have an opportunity to enjoy in our day to day life. The food was beautifully served and quite tasty, but certainly nothing extraordinary like we had anticipated. Their tea blend, however was really yummy and we meant to buy some while we were there. Hopefully it is something that can be purchased at other locations.

I have been hearing all different comments about this place for almost a year, finally I went there and tried myself. The reservation was not easy at all, I purposely set an alarm 30 days in advance and sat by my laptop at 8:55am and began to log in to Resy to make the reservation. I can tell you, the tables were all booked within 5 minutes. The Blue Box Cafe is not big, able to serve about 40 people at most. The breakfast brunch we ordered were fine but not “surprisingly good”. I ordered a coffee and my boyfriend ordered an Earl Grey, butter croissants served cold and that were something I did not expected. My Avocado Toast came pretty good looking and the taste was fine. The poached eggs was just so-so.Overall, it was a good experience to have “Breakfast at Tiffany”.

Cutted fruits are very fresh- it’s like what did they do to these fruits to make it sooooo good? Avocado toast is another favorite of mine. Don’t forget to try the cake which is soooooo good. I had a beautiful afternoon tea with my daughter at The Blue Box Cafe within the first month of its opening in December 2017. The Tiffany Blend tea was absolutely delicious and a must. You can even purchase this tea to take home. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was lovely. We had the high tea option with yummy scones, sandwiches and the cutest exclusive Tiffany cakes ever. Everything was yummy. I have since made reservations for family members so they can enjoy this amazing experience. Booking a table on the Resy app is actually an easy process, however very frustrating because hundreds of people from all over the world are trying to book at the exact same time. As soon as tables become available they are gone within a second. You need to be ready and not lose hope. Turn your notifications on and click on it as soon as it pops up on your phone. People cancel all the time so you will get opportunities to book, but you need to be quick. The cafe itself is quite small and doesn’t have a lot of tables available, which is why it’s so difficult to get a table. They don’t take walk-ins either but if you are in the area, pop into the fourth floor of Tiffany’s and have a look at the beautiful homewares surrounding the cafe. You can purchase some of the lovely tea cups and products they use in the cafe so you can have your own Blue Box Cafe experience at home.

After spending 5 days trying to book reservations a month prior, I was so happy to be finally brunch-ing at Blue Box. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Once we got seated, our server was very informative, super nice and very accommodating. My mother did not realize there was raw salmon on her dish before ordering and they provided her with a new order as soon as possible. Our reservation was for 10am (the only time I could book) and it was nice and quiet. The aesthetic is so gorgeous as well, however is smaller than it looks online.I had the Tiffany tea and found it delicious but not as filling as other afternoon teas I’ve been to(such as the Shangri-La, Windsor Arms Hotel, etc). And my mother had the waffles which she did find filling.I will definitely be back during my next trip to New York to try the other meal options ^_^

Yes, it is an expensive place, but you are paying for the experience. You’ll need to get registered on Resy in order to make reservations. Book your reservation at least one month ahead of time. We took the classic tiffany breakfast (which is 32$ per person, not even that expensive if you consider the whole experience), everything was delicious and the waitresses were lovely. What about Breakfast at Tiffanys? You know how we love the odd movie reference in our reviews. Remember the Alan Rickman tribute? What about the odd cheeky lyric or song title that sneaks in, like when we hid a whole bunch of Frank Sinatra titles. So when the opportunity presents itself to live a movie title, to be a song lyric, how could we possibly pass that up. Oh yes, we can tick off the foodie and pop-culture bucket list. We managed to have Breakfast at Tiffanys! Now thats not quite as simple as rocking up, flashing your Holly Golightly-esque eyelashes and getting a table. No this is something you need to book in advance, 28 days in advance, and if you dont get in the diary that day, you dont get in at all. So with an alarm set for 1400 our time, as soon as the online diary opened we booked our space, ten minutes later wed have missed it. Then we had to wait 26 days, get a nine hour flight, a one hour taxi ride and a short walk across the worlds most famous park. Then at 10 am Eastern Standard time we were allowed access into possibly the sparkliest shop in America, but no time for browsing the ice, we were straight into the lift, where the attendant pressed the button to waft us up to the fourth floor. It was painfully obvious one does not simply walk into the Blue Box Café.Next point, its not cheap. $32 per person (plus taxes, ah that incredibly annoying Americanism that makes it so much more of a struggle to work out how much things cost.) But what you get is worth every penny, I mean cent. You start with a choice of tea or coffee and a bowl of seasonal fruit and berries. Also served is a fantastically laminated, crisp and delicious croissant, with honey butter, sour cherry cranberry jam and the juice of a freshly squeezed Ferrero Rocher…Then after being cleared down your choice of main breakfast course is delivered. MiniSFR went with a NY staple, buttermilk waffle, topped with poached sour cherries and raisins and accompanied with the sweetest Catskills maple syrup that we drizzled all over.I steered away from the Avocado toast and the coddled egg and chicken sausage, which I have no doubt would have been lovely, and instead the more grown-ups went for smoked Salmon and bagel stacks. A ripe beefsteak tomato provided sweetness, a dollop (or as the menu described a smear) of cream cheese added some creaminess and the capers probably provided something, but only one of us tried them, he said they were a salty contrast. I assume thats a good thing!Service was impeccable throughout, but also friendly. Not the overly energetic, have-a-nice-day, friendly, but some genuine warmth. The surroundings were as youd expect immaculate and luxurious, but yet welcoming and relaxing. There are many places in NYC that are worth a visit and the Blue Box Cafe is definitely one of them. So if you can get there, and if you can book it, maybe you can admire, the famous scene. Because, as I recall, I think we all kinda liked it.

First off, make reservation on Resy app. It is independent reservation app (not affiliated with Tiffany’s). This part probably is the hardest since this resto is so popular (for those fans wanting their breakfast at Tiffany moments) it’s booked for whole month out. Here’s your tip: get Resy, set “notify” for this restaurant. The app will notify (if your not getting alert check your phone notification setting) you whenever there is availability. People grab these open spots quick so just reserve and cancel if you are not able to make it. Advance cancellation per Resy app, or else fee involved (supposedly). Now to the best part eating. Because they now have reservation (before when they opened they didn’t and people actually lined up since 6am) seating was a breeze. We gave our name and seated within minutes. They serve their menu all day, even breakfast at dinner (hence you can have breakfast at Tiffany anytime). Breakfast set is $29 (coffee/tea, croissant, fruit, and a dish of choice). Entree set is $39, and high tea set $49.I had breakfast at Tiffany set with truffle egg, and it was enough to fill me. wish they served more generous portions of bread tho, croissant was small and I had to ask for bread. Fruit dish is small but pretty ornate with flowers. Generous amount of truffle on my eggs.I recommend this place for your breakfast at Tiffany experience, prices are good for NY standard and food was pretty good as well. But it’s really the dining experience at the original 5th ave Tiffany’s what many wants, and they deliver, in Tiffany blue China and decor.Note: bathroom was inconvenient since you had to take elevator to 6th floor to get to and back. Guess this is old building and real estate is expensive but, maybe Tiffany should consider one bathroom on same floor or next to cafe.

This was my first visit to the Blue Box Cafe and I was very excited to finally make it after about three hours of traveling. Do not attempt to come here without a reservation, it is unlikely you will be lucky enough for any availability (it is a very small cafe). Many people complain about how difficult it is to get the reservations, but its all about planning accordingly. I made sure I was at my desk and opening up the Resy website to make my reservation at exactly 9:00am EST and even then I had to do a little work as the reservations were fully booked so quickly! The service is amazing, all friendly and warm staff who truly made you feel welcomed and at home. Our waiter was Aaron S. who I would like to thank for the wonderful experience and for talking to us about his experience working at the Blue Box Cafe.Their Bellocq tea was delicious, I would definitely recommend trying the No. 727 The Tiffany Blend tea.The only downside was that the food was either extremely delicious or rather not so tasty. My starter was the Kona Kam Pachi Tartare and it was some of the most delicious and fresh tasting fish I ever had. For my meal, I ordered the Fifth Avenue Salad and while the presentation was beautiful, everything but the lobster was delicious. It was quite disappointing. Still, the poppy seed dressing with the grapefruit was a very refreshing touch, especially for such a hot day in the city.Of course, we had to order the beautiful Blue Box Celebration Cake which was very moist and perfectly sweet. The bow, which I thought was fondant, is actually white chocolate!Overall: I would recommend the Tiffany Blend Tea, the Kona Kam Pachi Tartare, the Belgian Endive, and the Blue Box Celebration Cake.

Booking: You can only book online. Bookings are released at 0900 (1400 UK) 30 days in advance and they go in seconds. If you want to go I suggest setting an alarm, preregister with Resy and be prepared for a frantic 30 seconds. Id even suggest practicing the day before to see how the booking process works.Atmosphere: A beautiful setting, on the 4th floor. There are only a handful of tables, all nicely spaced out so you dont feel too close to each otherMenu: They offer breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. There is also an additional menu for cakes and drinks. I chose the afternoon tea which was lovely and very filling.Price: Cheaper than afternoon tea at high end hotels (although those offer additional food/drink), but its an experience in a lovely setting, in one of the best cities on the world. Be warned....you are in Tiffanys and you may come away buying other items :-)This isnt somewhere you go if youre looking for a quick bite to eat and a takeaway coffee. Its designed to be an experience and you should expect to pay premium rates. So dress up nicely and enjoy the moment. When you consider that getting a booking is so difficult, its likely youll only do it once in your life. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Breakfast set is 32 now. But the food was actually pretty solid if you get the breakfast set. Also if you want the experience of breakfast at Tiffany’s then get the breakfast set. The fruit was fresh and dazzled with flower peddles. The croissant was decent and came with jelly, butter and Nutella on the side! I got the smoked salmon stack and it was really delicious! I was surprised by the amount of salmons it had and they even better with the pickled onions and crispy bagels. The waitress we had was really attentive and gave great recommendations! We ordered desserts set after because the bird nest is just hard to resist. And I do agree that the breakfast set i had was miles better than the dessert. I think maybe if you want instagram worthy pictures, get the tea service but if you want good food, get the breakfast set! It’s cheaper and also comes with tea or coffee. Tea pot was not fully filled because I’m sure there’s a ratio between tea bag and the water. The tea pot was big, can you imagine having a fully filled tea pot with tea that tastes like water? They also will refill your teapot if you’re thirsty. I barely finished mine throughout the meal. Also, reservation can be hard, but it happens to any other popular restaurants in the city. This is just a jewelry store happens to have a cafe on the fourth floor with not too many seats and it got so popular because of the movie. I got my reservation from Resy the night before, because I have set up notifications when there are seats available.

Anyone who is a fan of Audrey Hepburn, or Tiffany accessories, then you know about The Blue Box Cafe. And if you didn’t know, yes, you can have “Breakfast at Tiffany” well, that is only if you can get a reservation. Getting a reservation here is so difficult. But there are quite good amount of cancellations, so it might be better to get the notification set up for the dates and times you want to (or can) go, and you will get an email notification if that date and time becomes available. The cafe is located on the fourth floor, which also has some cute home decor and other accessories. Towards the back, they had a host/hostess section for the cafe. We were told that there will be 10-15 minutes, even though we had reservations.Their menu is rather simple, they have “Breakfast at Tiffany” “Lunch” and “Tiffany Tea” all served all day. They also have some dessert items as well as some wines. We decided to get Breakfast at Tiffany and Tiffany Tea. The Breakfast at Tiffany comes with coffee or tea, so I went with coffee. When they poured the coffee in my cup, I noticed I didn’t see any steam coming up… It was lukewarm coffee, actually, calling it “lukewarm” is being too positive. It was more cool than lukewarm. Seriously???? Not a good beginning…And it kind of went down hill from there. The tea pot was maybe half way filled, so it only had about one and half serving of the tea. The baked goods like croissant and waffle was served cold. And they were not tasty either. And the afternoon tea... Ive had my share of afternoon teas in my life, and this has been the worst. The food was just bad. As simple as that. The quality, portion and flavor did not match the price tag. But, that was not the worst part. The worst part of our experience was the service, or non-existence of service. No one came to check on us, not even once the entire time we there. The only time they came around was when they were giving us a check. After going though such effort to get a reservation here, it was not worth it at all.

This restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing however the high-end consumer base that is associated with the Tiffany and Co store, does not match the customer service at this cafe. The employees that serve you when making purchases of anything other than dining have exceeded my expectations with the luxurious etiquette. In comparison, the customer treatment at the cafe from the hostess is worse than one you would find at a fast food restaurant. The staff are very disrespectful with no eye contact when speaking with customers, with very big attitude. In addition, emailing prior to coming for confirmation of availability is absolutely useless because upon coming to the cafe, they could care less about their customers and swat you away.Overall, if you are going to charge a high-end price to dine at a luxurious cafe, please make sure that your staff will also learn the high-end etiquette that should be used when dealing with guests.

Not the most attentive service, and the menus are a bit confusing (you can order the tea desserts in the dessert menu, so no need to get that option). Worth the visit and the price, maybe not worth the effort it takes to snag a reservation.

**Absolutely devastated**Stayed up late the last three nights in a row to secure a booking at the blue box cafe only to be faced with a very trying booking system. Tonight we tried again only to get to entering our credit card details, the site loading then telling us it’s all booked out. It was all sold in about 20 seconds.I think there needs to be a better booking system!! That was something I was really looking forward to while visiting NY.

Better than I expected. Food was actually good and a reasonable price. Decor was good. Good idea to get foot traffic in the doors. The one complaint I had was the elevators which were super slow but the man working the elevators was very nice and professional.

How can I rate this place if I couldnt have breakfast here? Well, my wife is a huge lover of this brand. We planned our vacation here and, since she knew they were opened two weeks ago, first thing we did when we got in NY it was going to the blue box cafe. When we got there, they told us we had to make a reservation. They explained to us how to make the reservation but the web page and the app didnt work. When I finally could sign up in the app, it said that it was all book up until November 2018. So we will never be able to get in there. Its sad that a brand like them cannot handle this like it supposes to be in this big city.

Wow so overrated. Toast and Croissants were stale, portions too small, service lackluster. The place is beautiful but there really needs to be a bigger focus on food.

THE BLUE BOX CAFEThis is one of the hardest places to make a reservation for. Bookings can only be made online and are open 30 days in advance. Even being online at the exact moment they become available, it is still nearly impossible. Our advice is, if you don’t succeed the first time, keep refreshing your screen and you may get lucky if someone else pulls out before finalizing their booking. This is how we got in.The menu has three main choices that you can get anytime throughout the day, and all are set menus. There is a breakfast menu, lunch menu, and afternoon tea set. Having seen the menu online before we went, it didn’t take long to make our decision. Most of the customers seem to be tourists, taking photos. Don’t be shy to ask the table next to you to help take some pics if you are willing to do the same back for them.We ordered a breakfast set and chose the main of avocado on toast. Paying an extra $5 included smoked salmon. The avocado was piled high and was well seasoned. The breakfast set started with a bowl of fruit, and a croissant with whipped butter, cherry jam and Nutella in small bowls on the side. You could choose between tea or coffee. The afternoon tea set was three tiers high. A savory and a sweet scone on the bottom, 4 finger sandwiches in the middle, and a selection of desserts on the top. The set looked pretty, with every piece only small but gorgeous. The taste was not surprising, just average. The cherry jam was the highlight! A selection of 5 or 6 kinds of tea to choose from or a coffee was included. The atmosphere was relaxing, even with all the tables full and close together. Most of the plates and bowls were Tiffany but the cutlery was a cheap brand. The staff were friendly and quickly took away plates and cups when finished. They also checked that everything was alright once or twice throughout the meal.If you need to use the bathroom, you have to take the elevator up two floors so we advise using it before getting seated.Payment can only be made by credit card but gratuities can be given in cash if you prefer. As we were leaving, one of the staff from Tiffany mentioned that they are planning on renovating that floor and he predicted that they would be making the restaurant much bigger. If you can get a reservation, it’s well worth going once. Enjoy!

Interesting shop--its a long corridor, and upon entering, the walls and ceiling are grassy, then concrete for the remainder of the shop. The cups and even much of the coffee equipment are interesting ceramic shapes, and it has a very distinct vibe, clearly designed for conversation, not working. Giorgi and Chris are delightful to talk to.

Reservation system is a complete disaster. Shows open times at 9:01A EST and then picked the time and it showed not available. Even Per Se is more accessible. Completely turned off by the game and now not even interested in going to Blue Box or Tiffany. Cartier is right down the street and much more exclusive.

This truly was a special experience. Just getting a reservation is an enormous feat!! Plan ahead, the books open 30 days out and fill up within minutes. From the reviews, I was wondering how good the food would actually be and it was quite good. We chose breakfast which started with a bowl off seasonal fruit and small croissant, accompanied by an assortment of spreads. We followed with the avocado toast with coddled egg and the coddled egg with green garbanzo, andouille sausage, plum tomato, Pecorino Romano. Everything was fresh and tasty.Service was excellent.I believe the idea of having breakfast at Tiffanys is really what its all about. It did not disappoint. We were not rushed and really enjoyed the atmosphere and surroundings.

Main reason I wanted to come here was because of the brand and exclusivity (reservations are currently hard to come by since the cafe is new and pretty small). While food portions are also small, I personally thought it was pretty good and that the presentation was lovely. In addition, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was amazing.

Overrated & Overpriced .. youre kidding yourself if you like the food .. clearly the food is prepared off-site .. A complete disappointment .. No music .. No atmosphere .. Stuck in the corner of the 4th floor.. Visit Tiffany & Co for sure but take your money and head for any decent eatery in NYC .. Ive never written a review in my life but I had to make an exception this time ..

Indeed blue box cafe is a beautiful place and so is Tiffany & all their collections. However it is very disappointing to try 7 days in a row to book a reservation for your girls and to have a peaceful meal for which we prepared for almost 3 months & when the time arrived to not even be able to book an unforgettable experience/meal. I am totally disappointed that I am not able to get my daughters their breakfast at Tiffany blue box cafe after all! I am heart broken and very sad that there are not more locations in the UNITED STATES to be able accommodate others & to have more people enjoy an event at Tiffany’s blue box cafe... However, worst things in life have happened -so after all, I can deal with this tiny painful disappointment 💔🙏🏻 Therefore if you were able to dine in there in June or anytime throughput the year, consider yourself 🍀 lucky

Yes, the reservation system is difficult. Yes, the food is overpriced. That being said, I had a lovely experience with my sister and niece at the Blue Box Cafe. My 17 year old niece said it was her favorite part of our spring brwak trip this year. The service was excellent. The tea was delicious. The foid was both pretty and tasty. We wont go every year, but we would definitely go again.

It’s imposible to get a reservation via Resy! I’ve been trying for over a month and put notifications for almost everyday since there are never any time slots available. When I’ve received notifications ( have emails on VIP list) that there may have a table available I immediately go to the app and still get nothing. I even waited til 9am sharp to reserve 30 days on advance and no time slots are there, only a notify box. This is crazy and absolutely ridiculous!!

The reservation process is horrible! I was on the site at 9AM like it said to be and clicked the 10AM slot as soon as it popped up, took a few seconds to fill out the CC info and submitted. Then a message popped up that this time slot had been filled, even though I clearly clicked on it. I could understand if I let it sit 10 minutes and it timed out, but I hit submit within seconds of selecting the time slot!

I love Tiffanys blue, but there is such a thing as too much. Also I understand they are cutting back on the glam of it all, but after paying $157AUS each per person, I want more. Service was excellent and food was good, just not good value when youre looking for luxury.

The process for booking a table on the Cafewebsite (which is required) is ludicrous!Calling in for a reservation is NOT an option. As I was in the process of submitting my reservation on line....the website pushed me off. I rebooted the reservation page (less than a minute) the message stated there were no tables available for the date I wanted!I contacted Customer Service - received a no-help response!?!?Something is wrong with setup!!!!

Before I even made it to the restaurant, it was a headache to even book a reservation. You have to be on the app at 9 am sharp a month in advance and ready to fight other people. Within 2 minutes, all time slots were filled. The tiny cafe itself is absolutely beautiful with the Tiffany blue decorations. Loved the table settings, furniture and the marble wall with the clock. The food was more for show than for taste. The tea was delicious, but you are paying for small portions of average food. My boyfriend and I left the restaurant hungry and in search of a real meal and spent over $100 just for an experience that is essentially a tourist trap. In all honesty, I would say for anyone wanting a truly high quality tea experience, visit Harrod’s in London that has a lot more value for your money with quality food that is both decorative and delicious. Harrod’s offers unlimited food and tea...they even send you home with pastries at no extra charge. All in all, I am disappointed with what Tiffany’s has to offer. They should stick with jewelry.

It would be nice to actually see an available dates rather than blocking all the dates.

By far the worst place to make a reservation. You have to book a month ahead which has been fully booked since I started looking two months ago. Than you can get email notification if something becomes available which I received constant emails but nothing was available. All I was looking for was a table for two!! How hard can that be....Blue Box Cafe? More like Brown Bag Cafe
