This is a really nice coffee spot in the heart of the meat packing district. The cappuccino is as good as in Italy and iced latte is very refreshing. You can also seat right in the heart of the square afterwards or stroll around the neighborhood. Highly recommended spot for your next specialty coffee visit!
I hate making reviews just based on service, but the lady behind the counter was just so rude and glaringly forgot to order me a blueberry muffin, and watched me stand back in line to get one. I won though, because I failed to be phased. You cannot wipe my permanent smile off my face, its as solid as concrete. Food is good, coffee is nice. Lady was a real rude lady. Hope she wasnt having a bad day. Hope her life gets more sunshine.
Great Service! Friendly Staff! Great Atmosphere. Try the Lord Bergamot from Smith Tea-maker if you like Black Tea! Great Vibes. Unique interior cafe decor! Favorite place to chill in Chelsea Meatpacking District.
Loved their place and coffee at firs sight. Super neat place, and it was the only place open until 10pm on a Friday serving coffee. I had their cold brew and it was the perfect level between strong and tasty.Their decor in the front and in the back of the cafè is really unique. Makes you want to sit at this place for countless hours. I saw that they had a small bakery section as well and the baked goods looked appetizing. Definitely check them out!!
Great coffee and coffee-based cocktails in an intimate setting. Im particularly fond of the seating area in the back with ample plugs, since it makes for a great coffeshop work environment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. While the drinks themselves are a bit pricey, they come highly recommended given their quality and the ambiance of the shop.
Great vibes, make a vegan sandwich by replacing avocado on the mozzarella, basil and tomato sandwich.
One of the most professional places that you can EVER get coffee from!!!! Shot out and much love to Annie. I thank you as well as my wife. Indeed it was a blessing to be in your presence
Super cozy cafe and a perfect place to catch some winter sun while sipping a cuppa. Very well laid out cafe with lots of plants giving a homely look and very clean place in general. They have a dedicated water station too. Loos are clean and the staff is very kind and polite. One less star is just because the food wasnt very great but their tomato soup is definitely something you should try.
Such a cute coffee shop! Their seating area indoors and outdoors was beautiful and it is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee with friends. The feel of the shop was inviting and a nice oasis to relax at in a large city. Their coffee was overall very good as well, and I would consider myself pretty picky when it comes to good coffee!
Great coffee, great smoothie, great ambiance, great service! Went around sunset on a Sunday evening. Couldnt recommend more.
It was a nice experience for me for the first time. Mike was a humble guy that knows what hes doing and gets the job done well. Try their services and you won’t regret it for sure. The quality of service they provided was amazing! I couldnt ask for more! I will never forget to tell all of my friends and co-workers about this place for sure.
Kobrick’s new, larger expansion next to their dark and cozy original spot is fantastic. It’s big, bright, has fantastic coffee (my favorite iced latte in the city) and is a fresh spot to meet people or do some laptop work as well. There are tons of seats, with bar seating against the window, 4 2-person tables in the front and room for another 20 people in the back, where they have a swinging chair too. Love the decor, with exposed brick and plants everywhere. Truly a great spot that you will enjoy frequenting for a multitude of uses. Love this place!!
Five dollar cold brew! I’m a big coffee person and the cold brew was awesome. had to show proof of vaccination to sit inside.awesome interior.plenty of seating both inside and outside
The breakfast we had was really good and very tasty. The espresso was even better, the best coffee in the area. I also love the decaf it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The barista is very good in making different toppings. The staff is very friendly. And also the strawberry topped cake is really delicious.
Not impressed. Had the country breakfast and the eggs were bland, watery, and I dont think there was any cheese. Coffee was good. I also was charged more than the menu price for a side of fruit.
So glad to see this place still here! Great drinks and great staff! Go say hey to Andrew and Mike
Speedy service, nice place to sit outside and enjoy a great conversation with a friend.Chelsea is amazing
Bad and rude service. There’s a sign saying laptop limited to 1 hour use inside, but when we asked the lady why the wifi is slow, she says no laptop indoors. It’s cold as hell in November what do you mean laptop usage only outside, and not indoors? Clearly does not want people to sit in for long.
Nice place but acoustics were so poor that the noise level inside got to a point of literal the feeling of screaming in ear… or people simple spoke so loud it was disturbing. Or both…A person sitting next to me felt the same and unfortunately we had to leave it was literally so bad.Nice place maybe unlucky day but wow… or simply clueless customers…they looked like a nice bunch either way.
Friendly workers, good black coffe, and delicious pastries. They have flavoured spreads for the Bagels.I loved the after taste of the black coffee, and the Danish is really tasty. I would love to try other items the next time I visit NYC.
Coffee is overpriced and doesnt taste like anything special, staff is rude/unhelpful, and AC is broken which hasnt been fixed in over at least a month. Im giving it two stars because the outdoor and indoor seating are nice. What a shame the service and drinks dont amount to the seating areas.
Overpriced and the service was pretty lackluster/borderline rude. Drinks are small and they switched up my milk unfortunately. Better off elsewhere
They charge me $1 for steamed milk, which is an exceptionally fair price for such a trendy place and in NYC
The Coolest, most relaxing Cafe in Manhattan! Excellent Staff, they learn your name and remember it! Interior has good vibes. Always a good time! My favorite place to be!
Good food and coffee. Cute decor. Great place to come to work out of if you like
Love the interior design. The outdoor space is cute as well. Although it actually closes at 9 pm instead of 10 suggested by google.
A historic coffee shop in one of my favorite parts of Manhattan.Kobrick has been around for awhile (try 100+ years) and this place is adorable - the decor is trendy but historic. The staff are friendly and the coffee and pastries are delicious. Try to stop in when you’re in the meat packing area, you won’t regret it
This coffee shop is one of many & popular one in the Meatpacking district located right across from Gansevoort Hotel. Some how this little coffee shop offers a little bit more ambiance and comfort from the norm. Easy to drink coffee, tasty treats, friendly, welcoming and considerate service appear to be consistent attributes of this fine shop. It is a busy coffee place that offers good seating selections and the friendly hum of a friendly spot.
In the middle of the hip, hot spot in Meatpacking, this tucked away gem is everything to seek when you don’t want the ritz of every other spot in the area. Genuine, personable staff, and a quiet location if you want to speak and hear whomever you’re with, the new outdoor area is awesome for people watching and just a sweet vibe. Also, obviously, their coffee cocktails are rich and on point. Don’t wait.
Amazing coffee and drinks! Patio is one of the best spots in the city to sit and read
Amazing environment and coffee is great. Such a chill spot definitely recommend
Pretty solid coffee. But they need to fix the Air conditioner. There aint any AC at the back n the front 2 unit its so dusty, barely any cold air.
Great coffee and delicious breakfast fare with outdoor and indoor tables.
Great bar and great snacksThe owner is an amazing personAnd very friendly definitely coming back
Very poor kitchen with high prices for plane food. The stuff attitude is awful. Asked to clean the table and the answers was “Maybe later when I will have time”. They say “we have WiFi” but connection is so low you can’t join it. Their cheesecake is the only reason I put 2 stars instead of 1
I came to bought a coffee at Kobrick almost everyday I love them coffee but bad customer service and not polite. Unbelievable: (
Their matcha latte is the worst that I have ever had. It was full of lumps but i gave 3 because cold brew coffee is really good!
Ahhhhhh! Kobrick Coffee! If your ever downtown around the 13th street 9th Avenue area here in Manhattan and you need a cup of great coffee and I mean great! Then come on down and visit Kobrick Coffee and I promise you, you will not be disappointed, they have a good selection of Morning treats as well, I love their Texas toast with Mushrooms its soooooooo Good!. So if your in the Neighborhood come on over I promise you will come back!
The ice coffee with mushroom - what a delicious treat! And these guys are the only coffee shop in the Meatpacking/west Chelsea area open after 8pm these days!
It was amazing and something I will dream about. Really cute place and super friendly baristas. The espresso was very well made. A good bean and it seemed like a lighter roast if that is what you prefer
Tasty cappuccino n a great space
Burnt coffee and all of the food was pretty gross. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I regret not going to the Mexican place next door. I like that all of the staff had their nails painted. That was the only highlight.
LOVE this coffee shop so much. Delicious (but expensive) coffee with kind and knowledgeable staff. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I frequent this coffee shop with my college friends to study since it is conveniently open until 12AM and has many power outlets. I always get a mocha iced coffee with oat milk.
It’s a shame that their service is so poor because their coffee is actually good. both times i have been here, i have experienced very rude folks. it feels almost discouraging to want a table here. they clearly treat certain people differently than they do their regular clientele. i would not come back and am very disappointed.
The person taking orders during the 3:30pm shift was so rude! Will never return!!!!!!
Unique little place with a unique menu to match. Theres great attention to detail throughout the cafe; you can tell careful throught was put in to exactly what the decor would be - all the way down to the prints and designs on glassware and plates. The seasonal drinks menu is full of fun names but the alcohol and coffee cocktails steal the show. Definitely recommend.
Good coffee. Really nice seating space with plants inside.
Very kind barista! Coffee is great and the service is excellent. We liked as well the old school music and the ambiance! Dont wait, go! This is the best place to relax.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for reservation. I reserved a table and when I arrived, the person told me “it’s crowded so it’s first come, first serve.” I told him that I reserved the day before for a time slot that was available to avoid this type of issue.Honestly, it was very disorganized. Coffee tasted great, but extremely disorganized staff. The barista later went to the seating area and made two people get up which made me feel bad for them because they didn’t know the table was reserved obviously. Then, since they rushed to get up, they left the food and drinks on the table which I myself had to throw out and then I told the barista and he offered to come and clean the table. This was not the experience I was expecting.
The place was nice and the avocado toast was great. However the coffee was mediocre, it was way too hot for a coffee and then milk in the latte was burned. This is a rockie mistake for a barista.
Wow! Andrew made us a ice machiato w oat milk and vanilla syrup even thonits annoying af. So good! The espresso was so rich I had to let the ice melt before I inhaled it. Thanks Andrew!
Awesome place to have cup of coffee ☕😋😍👌👍❤
Quality drinks and speedy service, but the baristas could be nicer. I took umbrage to the Asian barista hardly deigning to answer me when I asked if the drink on the bar was the chai latté with oat milk. I understand that baristas make these drinks and it may be obvious to them what a drink looks like, but I am not a barista that looks at coffee drinks all day. Okay? The coffee shop gets an A-plus for ambiance as it has great outdoor and indoor seating. The tables indoors have a ninety-minute time limit on them, which was more than enough for me. Electrical outlets are available but not abundant.
If you’re in Chelsea or the Meatpacking District and feel like a coffee or breakfast then consider stopping into Kobrick. If you’re in a hurry, grab an espresso to go. If you feel like sticking around and having a bite then take a seat in the back where there’s full table service. They’ve got a great variety of beverages, including cold brew and espresso. It’s the food that I’ve come to enjoy here. There’s a few egg dishes that I’ve yet to try, but I can definitely recommend the avocado toast. It’s on a soft piece of toast and comes with plenty of avocado and chili flakes. I like how it’s not enormous which makes it more of a snack than a full meal. Add a fried egg if you’re feeling hungry.
Top 5 coffee in nyc. Top 1 customer service in America. You guys are amazingThank you❤
I was so thankful to my cousin for telling me where is your coffee shop. I was so happy when I found you near our area. I like your mochaccino because it is not that sweet, and it is perfect for my taste. You amazed me, so I decided to recommend your shop to everyone. Thank you so much! Until next time!
Poor barista needed more help. There was a very long line. Very pricey, but the iced coffee was well crafted.
This is such a great little hidden coffee bar minimal bistro with a great bar serving really high-quality artisinal craft cocktails. All of them with a focus on being espresso based to an extent. The space is lively, but intimate. Is a great seating area in the back comfy arm chairs and corner couches. They also serve the selection of tapas bites
They have the best ice cubes in their iced coffee
Calm place to sit, work and chill with coffee!
One of the best coffee spots in all of the city, Kobrick has also recently expanded their indoor space to allow for more casual in-cafe drinking/dining (once Covid-19 crises passes, of course!). Try a latte here, you won’t be disappointed at all. On a spring or summer day, I love sitting just a block south of the storefront at the pedestrian common area with an iced latte. Food menu is wonderful too. Kobrick is awesome I and can’t wait to be back.
