To be honest out of all the Ebikes out there this company is the one you should be looking at. They have been in the game for a while they’re design as well as efficiency of the bikes systems are up to par with my aggressive riding.Never had any real issues with the battery or the bikes components. I have done over 1,800 miles on them and I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed.I will be a lifelong customer with “Joulvert!”

I had such a great experience getting my bike through Joulvert! So many different models to choose from and a very friendly staff that was super knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The website clearly stated that they service Super73 ebikes. I caught a flat on my way home, and decided to Uber to this location because of the reviews and the specific description of “Super73”.When I got there, before I could even enter, someone who works there came out and said “we don’t do those…” referring to the brand. I then showed him the description on the website, and then he changed his story to the long wait on repairs. All I had was a flat. I hate businesses that hate doing business. Before I even entered, he rejected my bike. Went so far as to point me in a different direction to get it fixed. Emergencies happen, and if you can’t help a customer with a simple flat, one of your many areas of expertise, then close the shop. 1/2 star rating is too much.

One of the best places I have worked at, and have had the pleasure and honor of making great friendships and relations with all the various people involved on a day to day basis, as well as clients that have bought bikes from us / me at the store. I personally have worked on most bikes and repairs and I always do my best to go above and beyond what is asked and required just to be able to have people laugh and smile with me and feel like they are not just clients / customers but part of the Joulvert Family. Issues happen Cest la vi such is life... but the goal at the end of the day is to make sure the issue is resolved, people are happy and taken care of in regards to any matter related us, our bikes and all those that are, do or eventually will become part of the Joulvert family.

600 miles with no problems. I upgraded to the more solid Stealth with its mag wheels (spokes can be a problem, apparently) and Im glad I did. 600 miles later and it still rides beautifully. Amazingly enough, Ive never had to put air in the tires, despite all the bumps of Manhattan streets. I bought from the local company because I figured it would be easier to get service, but so far, apart from a couple minor quirks at my 100 mile checkup, I havent needed them. You do have to double-check before coming in to test drive or get service on a problem, because they dont seem to have a lot of staff (or bikes) available at all times, but I feel they took care of me well. They threw in a bag for the front, and Im really glad I have it. As for battery, Im not sure it has exactly the lasting power as at the beginning, but if it has declined its not by much. I would definitely buy a bike from these guys again.

Stay away from this company and their products.I am writing this post in a effort to warn others but to also get the attention of the owner (or a supervisor) whose employees refuse to allow me to speak to.I bought the playa journey on May 22, 2021, and after several issues including a brake failure that nearly killed me, on September 10, 2021 the motor completely failed me on my way to my job as a healthcare worker. This is my main mode of transportation and my 20 min commute has turned into an hour on public transit.They “kindly” offered to fix my 3 month old bike for $140, claiming that “these things happen”. I refused. I do not overuse or abuse my bike, and it has failed me. It is now unrideable.Either my bike is defective, and should be replaced, or I was ripped off and sold a shoddy product.@supervisor/owner: please feel free to contact me, again I am posting this because your employees refuse to let me talk to you.

Great quality electric bikes and scooters at an affordable price, gets you to destinations faster and has very slick designs. They also have a repair shop for service on their own branded ebikes/escooters whenever you need repairs done. Highly recommend

I came with a friend last night to purchase a hobee one scooter. I had done quite a bit of research on this scooter, as well as many others. After talking with the staff at the store, I was sold, and so was she. They were extremely friendly and informative. I appreciate that they will take a return up to 3 days after the purchase, even with a 20% restocking fee. The fact that they will take it back at all is amazing considering the policies of many of their competitors in the area. Im looking forward to the release of the 1200 watt scooter that does 40mph! I will definitely be returning for one of those :)

I love my Hobbee scooter from this place. Its the most powerful scooter I could find still light enough to carry up and down stairs to Path train. Also is the most attractive. I got the playa journey pro for 6 months. Loving it. Using for deliveries and it’s been great. A+

I had to fix 7 spokes. I was charged around $110. The bike unfortunately was not return to me on schedule. It’s okay, that happens. What I didn’t like was the fact that they lost my bike pegs and my rope I put around my bike basket. They said they will get back to me about that, it’s been a couple months, haven’t heard back.I recently broke another spoke (Brooklyn streets aren’t awful). I went to a specialty shop and got custom made spokes, and fixed it for $36.The dude with the long hair is a bit sassy lol, like he doesn’t like being asked questions or doing what he currently does. No big deal.They also said they would sell me a new bike tire for $150. I call back for the tire and they said that that specific tire for my bike doesn’t exist....I’ll have to go back eventually when I need the motor worked on, as most bike shops don’t like to work on ebikes.I love my bike, the joulvert journey folds nice and small. It’s super heavy, but I never ride without the pedal assist.And that’s all.Thanks

Stay away. These bikes are very cheap and these people dont know how to repair their own products. They charge $30/hr plus the cost of the parts. I paid for the repair cost in April, it is almost September and still no bike. They are unable to fix it and are blaming us for the damage, apparently the inside of the motor is shattered. This is a cheap product that cant handle daily usage in this city such as: uneven roads, potholes, RAIN!($1500 for a bike that cant handle rain). Theres no excuse for the motor to shatter! Or for you to not fix it, even if you cant why not just say that? You rather give us a round-around of excuses and take advantage of my husbands patience. Terrible product, terrible customer service, and a complete joke of a business. I couldnt wait anymore and had to buy an Arrow bike which I had previously owned (got stolen) before purchasing this trash of a bike that broke 5 months after I bought it.They dont even have the decency to call you, you have to call them and they give you excuses like the owner is in burning man and left me with all these problems I cant fix. Youre a grown man, if you disagree with your employer then quit. And you have the audacity to tell me the owner is upset I left a bad review so youre unable to help me.Super shady people. Was in the market for a folding electric bike and heard good things about Joulvert bikes and their customer service from the burner community and other people. Went in there and test rode the Joulvert Pro which I fell in love with instantly, walked out there same day with my bike. Everyone was helpful, explained how to to take care of the bike and answered all my questions. Fast forward few months later and my bike wont turn on even though the battery was fully charged. Popped by the shop on the weekend and they took a quick look, diagnosed the problem which apparently was a fuse in the battery and immediately replaced the battery at no charge. These guys are great with their customer service and stand behind their product so if you are in the market for a sexy e bike that is compact yet bulletproof look no further than my friends at Joulvert.

Great service. Been coming here the past 3 yrs. and must say the employees have been great very respectful, always helpful with any problems or questions i have. I recommend this place whoevers trying too purchase an electruc scooter. Plenty too choose from.very nice products. Had a flat and they were real fast fixing the problem. The salesman Robert was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the bikes, and was able to help us find the perfect ones for our needs. We had our first bike ride on Kelly Drive this morning and the bikes drove very smooth and handled any dip or divot with ease. I live in Manhattan and just started a new job in Greenpoint BK. I picked up the Hobbee Scooter from the Joulvert store on Broome st and couldn’t be happier. With not having to pay for the subway/ ubers anymore, this scooter will pay for itself in a few months. The city is just more accessible now! :)

Bought a hobbee one a few months back as an affordable option to get around the city and to bring food to my partner at work and so far, nothing but good things to say about it. The employees seem easygoing and are helpful with any difficulties Ive had since purchasing it. Might look into getting a bike later on, preferably with a seat for two ;)

I don’t know where my last review went but I will write it again.... Unfortunately I bought a bike from these guys and from day 1 I have had countless issues. Wrong batteries, wrong chargers, brakes failed, amongst other things. I have had to bring my bike back to the shop multiple times and wait hours and hours for them to fix things, the last time I went I brought the bike in because my brakes failed me and I almost got crushed by a minivan. They did the tune up, “fixed” the issues and sent me on my way.... As soon as I got home with the bike, which I put in my car, I didn’t ride home I noticed I had a flat. Now the bike has been sitting for months. Make sure you do your research. Don’t go by the great reviews of people who only have 1 review. I suggest ordering a bike from Wish.com over getting beat in the head by these guys!

Went to Joulvert as a first time e-scooter buyer. Staff knows their product very well and were personable. I bought the Hobbes ONE scooter and have been happy with the performance so far. The dual suspension gives me more confidence riding across NyC terrain than other similarly priced scooters I tried.

Bikes are super expensive and don’t last very long. Might as well go to M&C or buy an Arrow bike from Fly E Bike. It falls apart so quickly, I can’t keep up with the maintaining it and the rate it falls apart. Definitely a terrible investment

Horrible customer service

Every time I’ve been to this place, the workers are incredibly rude and unprofessional and waste 75% of their time talking trash instead of working. The bikes are fine, but you can get a decent e-bike at plenty of other places. It would be fine if they had a completely different staff, but it seems like they’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
