Great experience with Carvana. The young man who delivered my car was very pleasant courteous and professional. Thank you Kenneth. Thank you Cravana, the car arrived very clean and Im pleased. So far I really like the vehicle a lot. The process was fairly easy and I am glad about that. All your representatives very great. I definitely recommend your company.
Awesome experience right down to the vending machine. I 100% recommend Carvana (please note that I wrote a much longer review but somehow got kicked out and lost the review - so there was no way to re-create that one). Great experience. I will probably never purchase from a traditional dealership again! Carvana - you R-O-C-K!!!(Proud owner of 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, she is a beauty and I love listening to her roar!)
We sold a car to Carvana. The process was very quick, easy, and we were paid exactly what we had been promised by their online valuation tool. Much to my surprise, they didnt try to convert our business into a trade in at all. Im impressed.
Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve experienced! One agent doesn’t know what the other one is doing! 10/10 recommend passing up carvana and going to carmax!
Great experience at Carvana. Sales man was very nice. Very cool putting your coin in and watching your car come down. They even fuel it up and have it clean and detailed for you that morning. I had to wait a while to get the car I wanted, but when it finally came available the process was pretty darn smooth from their forward. Im happy with the results.
Cars with Carvana previously have been in great shape, but the first car I purchased was in really rough shape and was more of a project than a lightly used car and should have been listed below its KBB value for the shape it was in. The second vehicle met expectations, although we have an issue that we now need to take time out of our day to fix with the vehicle, it almost feels as if Carvana is rushed into getting cars out the door. One of the key batteries was dead and had to be replaced, and the delivery date of the vehicle kept getting pushed back at the last minute causing schedule interruptions. Carvana also has higher interest rates than you can get with your local institutions and they make it challenging to work with a lender other than themselves. All-in-all, I leave 3 stars as the process is nice to do 100% online and theyve done a great job at making it easy, but my experience this time around was a lot worse than the first time. If I was a first-time customer I would probably be leaving 2 stars. Oh, and their vending never works.
Just had my car delivered today, first drive and the entire engine is smoking because there was no cap on the oil and it sprayed all over the engine. I ordered the car for a trip and have to miss the trip now because Carvana wont come back out and return the vehicle for a few more days. Entire experience is unacceptable.
It was okay, the vending machine expierence seems to have been broken, car would only come down from the top, but would not complete into a bay, someone had to go in and get it. 3 hour drive....
Caleb was extremely helpful in explaining the process of selling my car. He explained all the paperwork I signed perfectly. I drove over 2 hours and forgot a mask, and they provided one for me which was much appreciated. It was so easy! I also spoke with Dan who was very kind and helpful, thank you guys so much!
I found a car I wanted to move forward with, got all of the paperwork in order, had the money approved and sent to my account, and then two days before the delivery of the vehicle they said that they had already sold the car to someone else and that it was an internal problem. I had found a car that I was going to move forward with through car gurus but the one on carvana was a little more desirable color. So after wasting a week of my time and making me miss out on the other car they simply offered my 500 off sticker of the next car. That is all well and good if there were plenty of used cars available but thats not the case. The next closest car is 4,000 dollars higher.
ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I could write a book about this company. I was sold a vehicle that needed an entire new engine a month after purchasing. Because I stopped paying on this non operating vehicle they have reported it to my credit and I am going through a hassle getting approved for a car starting my Senior year of college. This have caused me soo much emotional stress I wish there was a option for 0 stars I would not recommend buying a car from this company even if this was the last car place on earth ! I wish I never heard of this company because of them I may not be able to go to school due to the distance I am from the campus with no transportation. They are very careless and fraudulent and they are selling non operating vehicles. Save your money and time and go look elsewhere!!!
We had the best experience selling our car. The Carvana online estimate was higher than three local dealerships. Representatives kept us informed throughout the process. The field advocate arrived on time and was courteous. The entire process from inspection to completion was quick. This was the easiest and most streamlined transaction weve experienced in over 30 years as vehicle owners.
From beginning to now, superb & professional services. It was a definite recommend & Is a definite repeat of business! & Im beyond pleased with my new car!
Extremely disappointed in the service I’ve received from Carvana. My car delivery date has been delayed four times now, with very little effort made to keep me as a customer. At this point I’m only sticking with the purchase because I don’t want the hassle of going through the buying process again at a dealership. I chose to buy from Carvana because of the perks and services they promise to provide, and they have yet to follow through on any of it. If it’s delayed again, I will cancel the purchase, and I will report Carvana to the BBB.
Ordered a car thru Carvanna. First the delivery I had requested 2 weeks in advance and the was still delayed by another week. It was poor planning to their part to wait to the last minute to get the car, when I had given them plenty of advance time to have the car shipped to Nashville. When the car delivered it had some damages that was not disclosed, paint missing below every window, which was not noted online. I did not accept the car and very disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. It was obvious the car had not been detailed (cleaned) as they say, which made me wonder what else they did not do. The car hauler that delivered the car was great and agreed with me about the car. No one ever called me to say they were sorry, it was very obvious to me they did not care about me as their customer. I ended up going with Carmax. Buyer beware of using Carvanna.
Terrible experience. I have completed all requirements on my car and delivery has been delayed ongoingly. Each associate I speak with provides a different delivery date. At this time, a week has passed and still without vehicle. I hope it will be delivered tomorrow but not holding my breath. Im not sure why this is such an issue since the car is in GA. I have yet to be offered to go and retrieve the vehicle.
I had an amazing experience here. I was in and out without a hassle. Employees were courteous and professional.
This was the easiest way to sale our truck. We really didnt want to but getting rid of un needed debt. Unfortunately one of the things was our beautiful truck. We are sure gonna miss her. But that means more money in our pocket towards other bills. The lady that took our truck made this transition very smooth. We were probably there at the most 45 min. If that. Cant sale a vehicle faster than that anywhere else.
I was in the process of purchasing a vehicle from Carvana. I started my process on a Thursday morning. My pick up date was the following Sunday. I secured my loan through a 3rd party. Had insurance on the vehicle and I had a signed contract. My pick up date was moved to Monday due to Carvana dropping the ball on my fund verification. They called me Saturday after my bank had closed wanting to verify funds. On Monday I called them regarding picking up my vehicle to make sure we were good to go. Um.. Nope. The guy I spoke with failed to tell me that I was going to lose the vehicle that day. He told me I would get a call back in a few hrs. By 1:30 Monday afternoon someone else had started the purchase process on the vehicle and I had no notice of anything. After all was said, they said they would give me $250 off a different vehicle. I got penalized for their mistakes on handling my vehicle. Sorry, but for all the leg work I did and all my phone calls and holding for a representative for anywhere from 15-40 minutes, $250 isn’t enough. I will never, ever buy or start the buying process of a vehicle from them. My experience was horrible! I have told several people about my experience and they will never go through Carvana either!
What a cool way to buy a car! Especially during covid, it was a really cool experience. No problems with the car (knock on wood) except we just noticed dry rot on the tires a few weeks after purchase.
The experience is nice but my only issues with them is that they dont communicate enough with the other lawyers of the company. Records and notes not updated in timely manner, causing confusion and miscommunication.
They are a very profit driven company. Sell your vehicle to a dealership and you will make 100% more.......have had 2 quotes from them on different vehicles. Both times less than half of what the local dealership offered.
These people really went above and beyond anything I could have expected from them. From online purchase to speaking with customer care to picking up my vehicle, it was hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Ill never go anywhere else again.
There were parts of my experience that deserved 5+ stars but with comparable competition I will likely give one of the others the opportunity to win my business on my next purchase. After choosing my vehicle it took 21 days before it was available for delivery with little human response to provide feedback on the delay. Then we had an ice storm, not the fault of Carvana which pushed delivery out further. The second day of driving the back up camera was not working properly and I was advised to take it to a dealership. I made an appointment and waited over 3 hours for the diagnostics. The dealer then submitted the repair to receive the approval of the warranty company. Now I have to wait until they have the parts to go back for an additional 3-4 hour repair. Oh, and I was assessed a $50 deductible. 😳. Outrageous when it supposedly passed the Carvana inspection. I’ve now had it 6 days! But honestly, the worst part is support. Every time I’ve called support I have had to wait extended periods and have been disconnected numerous times while on hold with a rep and they never call back, so the vicious cycle starts again.Today I received an email regarding a missing document and was guided to log onto my dashboard, which instructed me to call. I’m in the callback queue for the second time because the rep I was speaking with put me on hold and disconnected the call when he picked it back up. No callback but he knew who he was speaking with. Back in the vicious cycle again!Great concept but not the most efficient model. I hope my review will benefit someone else, because I’m not convinced the company actually reads or follows up on them.Covid is no longer an excusable or acceptable reason. Many fortune 500 companies are successfully supporting their customers from home/remotely.
Save your time & gas. They dont have anything at the store. Just go online--- because thats what they are going to tell you!
I sold my vehicle to them. The process could not be easier. I got many quotes prior to selling and their price was the best. The actual transaction took minutes.
I loved shopping with Carvana Nashville and will most likely purchase all future cars with them. I had a horrible experience with a dealer and buying from Carvana was a breath of fresh air. I chose to go to the vending machine because it was quicker than delivery and it was all so easy! The people I worked with were so friendly and helpful and took care of every single thing, making this a very hassle-free experience. I highly recommend Carvana!
The idea behind Carvana is nice and Ive used them before, but my latest interaction wasnt that great. The main issue being that the car was advertised with a full set of all weather interior mats, which were in the pictures as well. When I got the car they were nowhere to be found, and after bringing it up with Carvana I was sent very cheap generic floor mats as a replacement.I wasnt pleased with it because it was an obvious downgrade, and after calling a second time I was told I would be sent an adjustment check to make up for the cost of new ones.In the end, that check never came and I had to pay ~$300 of my own money to replace the items Carvana lost.
Terrible Experience, would not ever recommend buying from Carvana, the transparency just isn’t there. I have reached out several times to verify the delivery date with no response and of course they want to reschedule hours before in day of delivery.
Smooth and easy selling experience with friendly staff.
Dont expect to be able to talk to a real person after they have your money. Their contact system is designed to not handle your call with a live person after your purchase. Before accepting your car CHECK EVERYTHING no matter how long it takes. Two months after delivery, a lower door panel just fell off while I was standing next to the car. On inspection it had broken and cracked clip fasteners, but warranty service considered it cosmetic and not covered. I was expected to have found it when I checked the car on delivery. For $115, Carvana lost a potential repeat customer.
At the beginning I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the Carvana workers. That has been the only thing that hasnt been a headache while dealing with them. There is very little flexibility when it comes to timelines, especially when youre financing through a 3rd party. I could barely get a hold of someone in order to continue my purchase and could only extend my reservation 72 hours despite actively working on getting the loan. When I finally got a deal sheet I didnt have the option to opt out by myself I had to call them again and have a Carvana employee do it. I ended up having to cancel my purchase because I got into a wreck. When I explained that I was not going to be able to afford the car anymore to Carvana they asked if I would still like to continue without the trade-in... absolutely ignoring that I just said the vehicle I was trading in was wrecked. I asked Carvana to send back my check to my bank in late March and my bank has yet to get it back. Every time i call regardless of time it is well over an hour wait. It has gotten to the point where I am about to have to make a payment on a vehicle I havent even seen in person.Update: I finally got in contact with their finance office. It turns out they had not previously sent the money back to my bank like they agreed to in March. In fact they just asked if I would like to cancel my purchase... the one that has been canceled for almost 3 weeks. If I could I would warn everyone who is thinking of buying from Carvanav to not. Save yourself the headache and go with literally anything else.
Terrible experience over paid for a vehicle so I didnt have to waste a entire day at a dealership. Used cars are not available in my area right now anyways. They dropped the car off on the 2nd of june today is the 26th of july still no registration or plate. First they blamed covid 19. Now its they need proof of residency Id already sent.it a month ago.. ( They sure processed my 11 thousand dollar down payment qn dropped my car off though) Absolutely nothing convenient about carvana. Atleast at a dealership your salesperson will take care of you. At carvana you just get the run around. Its your money your business if you read this youve been warned
My experiece with Carvana was AMAZING! I wish I knew Seths last name so that I could give him full recognition in his OUTSTANDING work. Seth went out of his way to make sure everything was smooth from start to finish as well as very very fast. I sold my 2017 Hyundai Accent to Carvana and the process was an absolute breeze. Seth definitely deserves a raise. His joyful attitude was contagious and he even took time to get to know us a bit and showed his true appreciation to my fiance and I as essential workers. I couldnt be more pleased with the process and promptness of this transaction. Jordan and I will use Carvana for all of our vehicle needs moving forward. Thank you Seth and thank you Carvana. Not one moment or worry or a bit of stress during this process.
Communication has been good with Carvana. My car was delivered on time and was exactly like the pictures. However, there are things that buyers need to be aware of. I think that 150pt inspection is a bunch of bull.... My car came with the oil light on and then the battery died a week later. I also had to get my car detailed bc it was very dirty. Not sure where they get these cars from, but you need to get a car inspection preferably from the actual car dealership. Decide if you can handle any future repairs or give it back immediately before the 7th day. To be honest, it’s game of luck. These are heavily used cars, some better than others.
The 1st car I chose took me 6 months to find. It was perfect. Then 2 contract errors on Carvana’s part followed by several delivery days and they totaled the car on the way to me eventually. I was offered a whole $100 for 2 missed deliveries and no car. Before I had to start with another hard credit pull I chose the 2nd car- more expensive. They raised my interest rate twice (even though my score was now up 12 points from the original offer). Again- several delivery days and contract changed. $100 promised. Car arrives and the tire light is on and it didn’t pass em missions and I was told I’d have to drive it 50 miles and take it myself. I did. It passed. I noticed upon further look my tow package car had no hitch. Eventually they offered 350 for me to go buy one. Previous owner kept it. Then 2 weeks later brown fluid huge under the car. 2 dealerships later there had been a leaking windshield and the car was filled with mold. I had to pay the 2 weeks of rental car for the $5k in repairs that silver rock did pay, but now I was out a car again. The Carvana rep felt bad and promised another $100 for all the issues and the fact silver rock is not paying all of the rental car days. In fact far from it. Status: I received $250 for the hitch and 1 $100 check and they stopped returning my calls to inquire. Love the car but customer service needs a lot of work. Stuff happens with used cars, but customer service on a pricey purchase can make it a less stressful experience. - especially after they totaled the original car.
Really excited to purchase from Carvana. Online ordering went very well.We did everything through our bank as quick as possible and we thought within every timeline. Carvana said we didnt meet the timeline and delayed. We resolved this issue. Then there was an additional delay due to weather (understandable). Then when the car was 30 mins from being delivered, they told us it didnt meet their standards and they needed to reschedule. We would not have purchased the car if it didnt pass the 150 point inspection so that was confusing. So they told us this would delay another week (about a month in delays total).I called and found out the car wouldnt start and that is why they didnt deliver. I canceled the order because that should have obviously been caught in the 150 point inspection. The minute I canceled the order, the car was available again to all consumers. It was advertising its passed road test and passed battery test, even though I just got off the phone with them telling me they couldnt start it.I really wanted to love Carvana, but I felt they werent honest brokers. I would encourage every consumer to look elsewhere. I think online car buying has a very promising future, but the consumer must be engaged with an honest company for the process to go well. I have not found Carvana to be honest.
Make sure you request and receive photocopies or scanned copies of all the paperwork you go through, not just the paperwork you take home. This location lost the vehicle inspection report that is required for them to register the vehicle between when they showed it to me at car pickup and at the end of the 7-day window when they sent the paperwork to their title and registration team. Luckily Jeanette in corporate pushed hard and was able to get the office to request a duplicate copy of the inspection report from the county clerks office so that I did not have to go and get the vehicle reinspected. However if I had insisted on a copy of all the paperwork, I would have had my own copy of the inspection report and would have avoided a lot of stress.5 stars for Jeanette and all of her hard work and constant communication, 0 stars for the location staff who lost the paperwork, and whos initial response was if we lost the paperwork then shes just going to have to go get it reinspected herself.
HORRIBLE SERVICE MY BESTIES CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE SUNDAY BUT APPARENTLY IT WAS DELAYED????? NO EXCUSE WAS GIVEN AS TO WHY IT WAS DELAYED . HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Sold my truck through here. Fast and great service. Offered a reasonable purchase amount.
I have purchased two cars from Carvana. The first was a few years ago, and it was the best experience. Great customer service made the car buying process so easy and stress free. So much so that when I was ready to trade in my old car and purchase a new one, I went straight to Carvana. This time around, my experience has been horrible. First off, I will say this, the people I’ve spoken with from initial car pick up to now have been very professional and I don’t have a problem with them. My problem has been what’s going on behind the scenes. For this most recent purchase, I had initially ordered a different car than I ended up with. The car I originally ordered kept getting delayed in getting to me. The first delay, I let slide cause of the issues with Covid at the time. But then it was delayed a second time. So I call to find out what the hold up is, and I’m told the car was damaged during transport. Damaged how you may ask? THE FRONT BUMPER WAS TORE OFF! How careless were they with the car to rip the bumper off?! So I immediately cancelled that order, and began looking for a different car. The second car I found showed up on time and unscathed. And I am extremely happy with the car itself. But it took me almost two months to get my registration for the vehicle. And it wasn’t even the correct registration. I had a veterans tag on my previous car that I wanted transferred over. The guy I worked with at pickup noted this on my paperwork. Well I got a regular plate in the mail, and had to go get a new tag. Which I had to pay for. Then, I kept getting letters from the place I had my loan for the car I traded in saying I was missing payments. I’m sorry, what?? So I called Carvana to see what’s the hold up. They inform me a check was sent and confirmed delivered. I was given a tracking number, and checked it out. The check was sent to a completely different state to who knows who! So I had to call again, and get another check sent to the correct place. NOW, I get another call from the loan place saying the check was $100 short. Even though, I gave Carvana an official letter from the loan place stating how much was left. So now I have to deal with that. I don’t know if communication between departments are awful because people are working from home right now, but it’s been a nightmare. It really makes me sad because my first experience was so great and I talked them up to friends that were looking for cars also. After this experience, I’m not sure I would jump to working with Carvana again.
Overall a pretty negative experience. The car that I received was a lemon. Died within 24 hours of receiving, despite an inspection that I viewed prior to purchase that showed all was well. I thought, maybe just the battery, it has been a while since the car was last driven. Called the warranty department, closed on the weekends. That will not work, I need a car for the weekend so I go to replace the battery myself, mind you this is less than 24 hours from purchase. I take the car to the shop for a new battery, and the alternator is dead. The inspection on Carvana was false or didn’t happen period. At this point I have no choice but to return the car. However, it does not end there. We are over a week out from the date that I returned the car that I purchased from Carvana and Carvana still has not sent me the title for my trade in (which I of course need to buy any new car) as well as the roughly 10K that was withdrawn from my bank account, that Carvana is still holding onto.Despite all of this, I thought maybe I will buy my next car from Carvana, let me see if they can cut me a better deal than online. I am told that I have a $125 credit. $125! Might as well just tell me to take a hike.
Excellent Car and Price. - Horrible following up and finishing my deal. Im running over two months waiting for my final registration and plates. - Poor followup from Management. - Carvana does not care. Almost appears that they are holding the tax and plate money on purpose. Basically a zero interest loan for 2+ months.
Worst extended warranty ever. If they try to sell you Silver Rock do not buy. Literally the worst ever.
I was nervous buying a car online, however it was the best car purchase I ever had.I picked a car and it was delivered and was exactly as it was represented. I decided after a couple days that I would rather have aSUV. I contacted Carvana within 7 days, explained I changed my mind .Easy peasy, they came picked up the vehicle at no cost...Weeks later I found a Chevy Trax and they delivered it to me. .its been almost a year and I love my vehicle. No doubt, I will for sure do it again .
Best place I’ve ever gotten a car from is all I can say
I was so excited to purchase a car from Carvana but it has been a super bad experience. I purchased a car in October 2020, sent in my registration package and I still have no title, registration or plates. If others take the risk of purchasing a car from Carvana, be sure to stay on top of them. Its a common complaint and not worth the heartburn. Not at all. BTW, my car came damaged, about 2700 bucks worth but the warranty covered the expense. That is about the only good thing about it.
The Toyota Sierra van that was delivered yesterday was unacceptable. It was filthy, had sand damaged plastic thresholds, sand in carpets and even found food under the fold down seats. On the outside all of the the plastic trims and window gaskets were badly sun damaged including the roof paint damaged to bare metal. Damaged window gaskets allows rain to get inside the van walls and mess with wires as well as promote rust.On the drivers side, a large patch of black contact paper (you read this right) was used to cover dents on the side real panel and around the wheel well. Contact paper!!! The driver blamed the previous owner but where was the so called highly touted Carvana inspection? Short of visiting a junk yard, this was the worst vehicle we have ever seen. It should have been worth half the price to allow for accident repairs and a complete paint job. We refused delivery and the van was returned. What also disappoints us about Carvana is that no one has had the decency or interest to even reach out to apologize. BREAKING NEWS: The van is back on the Carvana website for $1000 less. The 2013 van has 38,000 miles. Go for it if you dare.Response to Carvana: Thank you for the response to our experience with your company. While it sounds sincere, the suggestion to call your 800 number (which I did) with a 30 minute wait time without any specific contact is unacceptable and impersonal. It took almost 2 hours to sign and read the purchase documents and you cant find any record of this purchase? Thats unbelievable.
Worst experience purchasing a car! They have delayed the delivery twice at the last moment. So disappointed that something that should be a fun and quick experience is turning into a nightmare!
Good experience! I am happy with the car so far!
This by far was the simplest, hassle-free way of purchasing a new car! The ease in which I requested a trade-in value for my car and the abundant inventory in which to choose from made shopping from home a very pleasant experience! I even went to Carmax to see how much I could get for my trade-in and was surprised they offered me $2,000 less than Carvana. I will definitely recommend Carvana to anyone I know who is in the market for a hassle-free car shopping experience!!! Don’t shop Carmax without comparing with Carvana!
Carvana Experience was AWESOME! Super easy way to buy your next vehicle!
Absolutely do not reccomend this dealership car was delivered to my door step with drywall, bacon, and dirt in the center console and frenchfries, and dried paint in the back seat. Called to double check on my detailed clean up to only be informed that it was still pending after 3 days. Then not to long thereafter, the check engine light came on. I will not ever deal with carvana again and I will defenitly not recommend them to anyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!! NO MATTER WHAT ANYBODY SAYS.
My delivery date get delayed twice for no specific reason and most likely I will cancel my order .Unprofessional and untrained staff members who don’t know answers to any questions
The only reason I am giving them one star is because the delivery of the car was seamless and perfect. It seems that once they deliver their product though… It has been a nightmare ever sense. I have spent 6 to 8 hours holding on the phone to talk to representatives who have no authority to deal with my issue. I requested license plate transfer and kept my old plates then was told I had already paid for a new license plate, so I should just get a full year out of it. I was told that I should get a refund from my unused license plate, waited in line an hour at DMV only to be told the business I bought it from should know better! I have been escalated to two supervisors only to be told they will do nothing to repair the mistake they made, nor will they refund the $85 overcharge. My next step is to report them to the BBB. If you have all the time in the world to deal with Carvana’s incompetent system, take your chances and buy from them. I won’t do it again.
Easiest car sale I’ve ever done. I got a quote for my 2018 Charger online and scheduled an appointment. When I got there they took it for a short drive, then handed me a check. There was no nitpicking or negotiating of any sorts. They gave me a check for the amount promised. They also gave me a $25 visa gift card since it was my birthday. The whole process was done in under 10 minutes. I highly recommend Carvana if you’re looking to sell your car fast without a hassle.
I would absolutely never buy a car from Carvana again. The car is great. but the entire process has been a nightmare. My car was delayed multiple times arriving at Carvana, but I wasnt in a particular hurry so I wasnt too inconvenienced by that. The pickup and purchase of the new car was fine - everyone was friendly and made the process quite easy. That being said, Ive had my car for 4 months and Carvana has still not gotten my registration correct. I paid for it to be registered in the county that I live and purchased the car in - which in the state of Tennessee requires emissions testing. Carvana did the emissions testing, however when I got my registration it was registered in a county 3 hours away where it is significantly cheaper to register a car. After 3 months of calling Carvana to get this fixed theyre telling me the only solution is for me to go and do the entire registration process again myself - and pay for it again - even though I already paid them for this process. I have been lied to numerous times in this process and been strung along for 3 months. They have no desire to make this situation right and I would never recommend anyone do business with a company who doesnt do what they say theyre going to do.
Purchasing the car through Carvana was fairly easy. Car was received on time and in decent condition. The after-purchase process has been a nightmare. My temporary plates expired months ago and getting ahold of anyone (once you buy the car) is nearly impossible.
Process went exactly as advertised, filled all paperwork out online and was approved same day within a couple of hours. When we arrived at the store we got to watch the van come out of the vending machine. Super polite staff, no pressure at all at any point in the process and all numbers and paperwork matched online and in store. Great experience, this will be how I buy my cars from this point forward!
Very happy with service. Found a problem with vehicle and they fixed it. Denice delivered my new car and she was the best great job very happy would do it again thanks
The website was easy to get the car or truck you want without hearing a salesman push you into a vehicle youll regret later!
I am selling my 2013 Avenger. It has 100,000 and I wanted a quote from Carvana. These people offered me 317 for a car that still runs, has a dent in the door and has no mechanical defects except a brake sensor which takes about 150 dollars to fix per the mechanic. I was offered 3000 by Kelly Blue Book for instant cash offer as well as 2500 for trade in and said to be worth 6000 for private sale. I would not trust these people when it comes to pricing vehicles for trade in value. KBB is supposed to be their go to for car value. Apparently not. Will never work with them again.
The was the best car buying experience of my life!!! The process was very simple and I paid a good price for the vehicle I bought. I did not use their financing because the rates were much higher than with my own bank but this may not be the case for everyone. I had my vehicle delivered and the process was great and the delivery driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the process and the documents that needed to be signed. The time from arrival of the vehicle to their departure was approximately 45 minutes and that includes the time needed to process extra documents for my trade in and to get it loaded up.
Extremely happy with the overall experience, first time buyer. No issues with the process, extremely easy to use. The vending machine was under maintenance, so we didnt get the vending machine experience, however, Im still satisfied with the customer experience.
Location needs a little more attention to detail. Picked up car, and had to go back because they didnt put charger in the car. Overheard another guest, military, having a issue on a possible bait and switch on a vehicle, which from my understanding left him in a bind of having no choice but to accept the vehicle or he would be stranded there. They said something along the lines that he had 400 miles or 7 days to swap, and they were actually discouraging him to accept the vehicle since it wasnt what he thought he was picking up and if anything were to happened to the vehicle in the previous time frame there would no longer eligible for the swap. That I feel is understandable becuase stuff happens out side if you control no matter how good a driver you are, but as stated above it soldier stated it was take the vehicle or go rent one out of pocket, so, I feel it was handled poorly by the company. Nice, friendly, and polite staff though, and both vehicles were VERY clean and polished, hence the 3 star rating, they OBVIOUSLY care about your property. Loss of one star for lack of detail making sure all parts were with the vehicle I was picking, and another due to feeling that they could have handled the soldiers situation better. They could have maybe offer a real cheap rental or a courtesy car for the week while they found the vehicle he believed he was purchasing and transferred it. Did hear the rep/staff state that they were gonna look into it.
I really wanted to like Carvana. I had several friends who got their cars through them and had great experiences, so I was expecting the same. First off, the night before my arranged pickup, I got email confirmation my car arrived on site at Carvana. The next day they called and told me it in fact was not delivered and there was a delay. They could not tell me why there was a delay. Finally, a few days later it arrived. The car I purchased had a clean title, no accidents. They had indicated a few chips in the paint online, but when I got it there were a lot more larger prominent chips, as well as scratches they failed to indicate. I took the car to a mechanic for a used car inspection and within seconds he said it had been in an accident by just looking at it and showed me where it had been repainted. I returned the car to Carvana, it took a week and half to get my money back, but I never received an email or call to let me know the refund was being processed, and there was no indication on my account online it was in process either, leaving me to call and follow up twice. Overall, I felt that Carvana was dishonest in selling the car. They were not straightforward with the condition, and whoever they have checking their inventory obviously had to have known it had been in an accident. I am now on the search again, and unfortunately do not feel confident in purchasing a vehicle with them again.
Absolutely amazing. Start to finish best customer service ever. If the cars a complete lemon the experience would have still been great. Isaiah was a so good with my 6 year old above and beyond gave her the token. Carvana give that man more money. The lady was super great as well.
Love carvana!
Bought a car just last month, a convertible. BEFORE we signed off on it we asked about the tonneau cover (which WAS in the features). The driver told us that they will send it to us. They later (conveniently after the 7 days) told us NO we wouldnt be getting it because you cant see it in the 360 view. This makes NO sense to me. Why put it in the features then (Very Rudely (ZACH) tell us we are not getting it? Definitely will NOT EVER recommend Carvana......and THAT sucks because a lot people were asking about our experiences......
They had our car inventoried incorrectly, so the delivery was delayed. No compensation for the inconvenience or attempt to make the situation better - just reschedule with an excuse laden apology.
Bought a car from Carvana and picked it up at the Nashville Vending Machine. The representative there was wonderful as he explained everything thoroughly. Put the token in the vending machine and watched the car come down. (Vending machine at the time wasnt fully operational because the representative had to drive the car to the front of the office once it came down from the top..bummer because I was hoping to see the entire automated process unfold)But once I got the car it was absolutely beautiful. The thing was spotless inside and out. Near pristine condition. The only thing was the tires were different brands. (Same size though). This is not an issue since I have a preferred tire brand that Im going to replace those with anyway. The car is very solid..no shakes and rattles going over bumpy roads and it accelerates and stops how its supposed to. (I will have the car inspected just to be sure)Havent had a chance to try the all of the bells and whistles that its loaded with but I will in the next few days. The wife and kiddos love the car and we will be buying from Carvana again in the future. The entire process was very fast and smooth. From ordering online to pickup was only 2 days. Granted a dealership will have you in your new car the same day but not without all the back and forth on price and rebates and incentives and all that nonsense. Carvana just has a very straightforward process and I highly recommend this company.
Would never recommend dealing with Carvana again if you do I highly suggest the extended warranty. The car was great AT FIRST.... immediately after the 8 day test drive everything started to fall apart. On day 9 the bushing from the shift cable came off so I had to reach into the engine bay to manually switch from park into gear and back. Day 12 the engine started a making tapping noise. Luckily it was still under the standard warranty because we ended up needing to get the entire engine replaced..... 3 days after getting the car back a hose blew causing it to go back to the shop... fast forward a couple of months and a warning light came on telling us to service the transmission. It sat in our driveway for a month or 2 after that before I finally had enough and decided to take the hit in my credit and tood the finance company to come and get it. I owed a little under $13k for it still and they finance company was able to sell it for a little over $6K leaving me over $7K in the hole.
This was hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had! Everything from buying online, talking to them over the phone to picking up my car today. Everyone I spoke to were top notch.
Where to begin on this terrible experience?! Basically paperwork/online nightmare, they had to have full funds BEFORE we even saw the car.The car was a RUST BUCKET underneath... Just glad we saw it during our 7 day inspection. I told them about the serious issues with the car (our trusted mechanic inspected it) and they already had the car re-listed for sale a couple days later ... They claim certified pre-owned but dont be fooled! They did allow us to return the car but it took a week before our money was returned. The entire process it was almost impossible to speak with a human being even over the phone to find answers to questions... Highly discourage using Carvana
The car comes with a 100 day warranty. After 45 I brought it to the dealer to get the scheduled maintenance done. They discovered 3 wheels are warped/bent which is why one loses pressure regularly. I contacted carvana for info on how to utilize the warranty. They said too much time had passed and they would not cover it. Be careful purchasing from them. Still 55 days left of my warranty yet they will not cover the problem. One wheel was covered within the first week because it was in bad shape. So clearly there is something going on with the wheels when I bought it.I guess loss of tire pressure is not a safety concern to them.
Amazing
My temp tag has been expired almost a month. I was told if my registration was delayed that I would get a new sticker for my vehicle. I communicated with a robot about the situation but nothing happened. Once they have the sale locked in you are on your own it seems. Beware.
Very easy to get to. The people there were super friendly and hands down the easiest car buying experience Ive had!!!
All I can say is wow! You guys really nailed it! We love our car, we appreciated the ease of the transaction, no hassling, and great customer service! Totally worth it for us! THANK YOU CARVANA!
They give you a good value and its easy. Just sign a couple of papers and youre done.
Fast and easy transition. Friendly .. very fun experience
Fun experience. They really do honor their return policy. Great that there are no hassles and no dealer fees. Second purchase from Carvana!
Such a cool experience! The vehicle I purchased was unfortunately a little too small for me, but because of their amazing 7 day return policy, I was able to return it, and Ill absolutely be purchasing something from them once I see what Im looking for come into their inventory. Every member of the staff was so fast and friendly and they really seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. Buying a car here literally was as easy as online shopping, and so much fun because the vending machine seriously is just that! Highly recommend and cant wait to go back.
I received a tracking number for my plates from Fedex as I have an account with them. A few days later I got an email from Carvana stating that my plates were on the way.A week afterwards I noticed my plates went from Nashville to California. I called FedEx to attempt to figure out where the package was with no success. I called Carvana since they were the sender to assist me in getting an answer. The plates were to be delivered 7/14/20.After several hold times with Carvana and several reps attempting to help Fedex confirmed with them that they lost my plates.I had to tell Carvana about the package not arriving and getting lost. My temporary plates expire 7/30. Even though they didn’t confirm any of this information until 7/29 they communicated to me that nothing could be done. They cannot provide a new temporary tag. It’s on me to get it fixed WITH NO NOTICE!!Also other things that went wrong: my car arrived a week and a half late. They told me that the check engine light was on. Later that was a miscommunication. Upon getting the car arriving instead of delivery they asked if I could come pick it up. To be nice, I did. Then they told me that the car didn’t have the tire inflation kit. I was told it would be sent to my house. Calling the warranty issuer SilverRock they informed me it couldn’t be delivered to me as promised. I went to Pep Boy which was an option provided from the warranty company as to where I could get the tire inflation kit. Pep Boys told me due to the difficulties they had with SilverRock, they no longer accept any SilverRock warranties in the Nashville area. NTB was the next place that I went to. NTB also cringed at hearing SilverRock warranty but told me they don’t even get tire inflation kits. At all.I never got a tire inflation kit. I didn’t get my plates. Carvana seems nice at first but then really let’s you down.
They were supposed to register the car and mail the plates to me (fee for it included in the price). Ended up getting a self registration packet in the mail the day before I was supposed to leave the state for a work contract, with info for a different state on the cover sheet they sent. Added extra stress and annoyance to my week and when I called about it they did absolutely nothing but apologize. On top of that, after wasting hours going to the title office to get my plates there was an issue getting their temp plate off since they overscrewed it and shifted the plastic holder attached to the car out of place so it didnt have any purchase to screw - I had to open the trunk and hold the piece in place with pliers while someone else unscrewed it. Now Im having to hope a dealership will be able to fix that part and that my plates will actually stay while driving. Absolutely frustrating experience, wish I had just bought from a dealership in the area.
Carvana is a great company to sell a car too. I called and got a quote and in couple days they were out picking my car up. They are friendly and communicate with you. I will use them again.
My boyfriend and I went to get his new car a month or so ago and he loves it!The service there was amazing and the whole process was extremely easy!! Definitely want to go to get my car from there
Wow easiest car experience Ive ever had. And super fast!
Kendra went above and beyond to finalize the purchase of my car! I couldn’t have been happier with this entire experience. She went so far as to pick my car up from eurofix next door and allowed me to sign all the paper work the day before. Hats off to carvana Nashville! Oh and not to mention the ease of the online quote program that gave me a better quote than any dealership in town. Thanks again Kendra!!
I was having problems finding a car. Because of some past issues financing was impossible. I saw carvanna and thought why not. I got approved and the car I wanted. I had it delivered to me which was wonderful. I will never again deal with car lots and salesmen. This is my number one place to buy. Everyone was friendly, helpful and going out of their way. I highly recommend them to anyone.
I bought a 2011 Corvette from carvana and upon driving it it smelled like gas inside the car. Then go try to get it fixed with their warranty company called Silverrock. Maybe 2 approved shops within a 20 mile radius if youre lucky. That and a air dam was hanging off. Body shop time. Didnt pass emissions either. This is all within the first 4 days. They claim a 150 point inspection. I find this hard to believe
