I called Nashville Subaru looking for a new Ascent, and Chris Knapp picked up my call. He quickly let me know they were expecting some within a month or so. We did not have immediate needs for a car, so we scheduled a meeting with him to discuss the vehicles coming in. We found an Ascent Touring that met our preferences and about three weeks later our new car came in from the factory. Chris was very friendly, informative and helpful throughout the whole process. This is our first Subaru and we are very happy with our Ascent Touring!

I really dont know what part of leaving my vehicle outside of the service area on the sidewalk of Broadway during rush hour unattended with the keys in the ignition was a good idea.Nor the fact that I made an appointment several days prior, dropped my car off and waited several hours to be told theres not enough time in the day to service it.If you are too busy, just say no and provide an alternate date and time.Im also really happy no one decided to help themselves to a car during all of this.

My son was rear ended by a wreck less driver- it practically totaled his Honda Civic. He needed a new car quickly for school etc. The salesman Chris at downtown Subaru was awesome! He really took the time with my son to go over all the features of the sedan and the Cross Trek. He finally picked the Cross Trek and he loves it. The Impreza is much more spacious than the Sentra and the trunk space is perfect for our weekend backpacking trips to the Smokies!As for my vehicle, I was in the market to replace my beloved Jeep Cherokee. I had researched the Subaru Forester prior to our visit and knew that was the vehicle for me.Cliff, my partner, and I sat down and went over our vehicles and their specifications in great detail. After confirmation, we signed the paperwork to order our vehicles.Throughout the time it took for my vehicle to arrive, Cliff kept me informed the entire time. When my Forester arrived a few weeks later, Cliff and I setup an appointment to finish the paperwork.I loved my Jeep Cherokee, but I love my Forester even more. The safety features are impeccable and it rides so much smoother. The technology specifications on it are top tier as well.I have had several vehicles in my lifetime and dealt with many dealerships. I just happened to drive by the Subaru dealership downtown, since I had never bought a Subaru, but heard great things about them. God was smiling on me, because I was helped by Arthur Jones, the nicest and most professional salesman I could ask for. I ended up buying a 2022 Impreza that I love! It comes with so many options and is the best handling car I have ever driven. When it came to financing, Jason treated me so well, I almost forgot I was in the finance department. I cannot overstate how terrible this place is. I have gone in there twice for an oil change where they spilled so much oil that it was billowing smoke as it burned off my engine. I took it to a different Subaru where they had to detail my engine to get most of the oil off. The Nashville Subaru said they would reimburse me but they NEVER did. Even when I followed up and they took my credit card number I never saw the money. Another time, I went to get something fixed on my car. I waited for three hours only for them to say they didnt even look at the problem. They said that Id have to come back another time but that they were booked for the next few weeks (I had already waited two weeks for an appointment). I will never go back if I can help it.

I bought my subaru here and the only problem I had was the interactions with the sakes team. I know this is typical but it shouldnt have to be. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and the sales manager made me feel like I was dumb for not getting the extended warranty on my car. After almost a thirty minute session of him billing and trying diffrent tactics to get me to sign up for the warranty, I was able to complete the purchase I came in for. I will buy another Saubaru but not to help this place.
Located the vehicle i wanted online on a Tuesday. drove in from 3 hours away on a Saturday. worked out the details in between. all the paperwork was done ahead of time, just needed my signature once i arrived. in and out in about an hour, including a test drive and going over the features with the salesman Chris K. He was knowledgeable about what the Ascent offered and very easy to get along with. If i could rate higher than 5 stars i would. very impressed with my experience at Nashville Subaru.
Let me start with zero stars would be the best reflection of the service. I would go negative if possible. I had to select one star to be able to post. The following reasons are: three hour plus wait for an oil change, not honoring terms for purchase of the vehicle (incentives), and lack a communication starting with calls to the dealership to ensure they would honor the terms agreed upon BEFORE traveling a hour to the dealership.
Had a fantastic experience. Geoff was great & really cares about customers. He made our experience absolutely excellent. Once home after my service appointment my boyfriend and I discussed how we would continue to go to Nashville Subaru for any of my cars needs and how happy we were with the service Geoff provided!

I would rate my experience at Nashville Subaru as extraordinary because the whole experience of looking at the car I have been researching for year, going through the purchasing process, and even after care has completely turned around the negative view that I had of dealerships in general.When I initially called the dealership to see if they had a 2021 Outback XT onyx edition, Michael Grizzard, put in the work to find out for me and called me back with an answer even if it was a no. Most of my experience with dealerships is that if they don’t have something to sell you, they will not call you back. Michael called me back and explained to me that the car I was looking for was at the dealer and had arrived that morning on the truck. Ran into some issues with a repair that I was not happy about. This team made sure on my second attempt to fix the issues that were missed the first time. I would give 5 starts, but there were grease stains left in the vehicle. The vehicle works much better and the mess was easily removed. Thank you for making me a satisfied customer.

Hands down the worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. Impossible to reach on the phone. You can leave messages all day, but they wont return your calls. I literally had to get a ride there just to get an update on my vehicle. The GM wouldnt take ownership for any of this either. He just kept making excuses. Word of advice: If youre short staffed, come in early or stay late to return calls and explain the situation to your customers. Its YOUR business!When I finally received a call back two weeks after dropping off my vehicle, they told me the reason for my electrical issues was because I ran out of gas, which never happened. They took the easy way out and were going to put me back out at risk on the road without even batting an eye.Do not trust these people with your vehicle. They dont care about their customers at all, and they definitely dont have our best interests in mind.
This is the SECOND time I have made an appointment with them to get my oil changed, at least the first time they had the courtesy to call me and let me know they were running behind. Today they didnt!! I arrived before my scheduled time and it wasnt until 1 minute before my appointment they let me know they were running 3 hours behind. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and poor time management. Whoever is running their service department should take a customer service class. Whats the point in making an appointment if cant even adhere to the time, or call the paying customer to let them know!!

Wish there was a Zero star option. These folks just handed us over to Hyundai next door and never looked back. We were never even shown a Subaru. Then the folks wouldnt even come down a dollar, when we had fifteen thousand cash to buy outright. Dont waste your time. The Manager of the used car lot asked me to email him so that we could resolve the issues. Yall, he was full of how they tried to call us after the visit and did their best... Offered to hand me back to the same sales person and STILL never offered to show me a Subaru. Still dont waste your time. Going to a different dealership. This place has convinced us to buy NEW.

I’ve always dreaded having to go through the process of buying new cars because of pushy salespeople, but Cliff was everything I could have asked for in a salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny which made the whole process of filling out tons of paperwork actually enjoyable. I decided around noon on a phone call I wanted a new car, got to the dealership around 5pm and by 7pm I was driving off the lot. Ive owned my Subaru for over 5 years, bought it brand new and have never used anything but a Subaru dealership for work done on it. After moving to Nashville 3 months ago, Im 0 for 2 in having a good experience with Downtown Subaru.My first experience was after the recent freeze knocked out my A/C. I thought I just needed a recharge, so I took it in and waited at the dealership. After an hour and a half I get a text asking if I want to add $800+ to my service stop and that I had 45 minutes to respond. So what happens in that 45 minutes? If I miss the text, does the car just sit there idly while I wait? And why not call or WALK INTO THE WAITING ROOM to speak to me?! Thats a big decision that Id rather talk to a person about than a couple of clicks on my phone. Of course I had the work done, as I need A/C, and it was seemingly done well... but the inconsideration of me sitting in the waiting room was frustrating to say the least.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back for my oil change and tire rotation. I was told it would be a little over an hour, so I asked if I could be dropped off at my gym a couple of miles away. They did and I waited and waited while working out. Finally, I get **A TEXT** asking me if I want to add new tires to my service ($900+) and that I could respond within 45 minutes. Otherwise, my car would be done in an hour and a half. This is an hour and a half after I dropped it off the first time. So I called, again, wanting to speak to a person about big financial decisions and about why my car wasnt done with the initial reason I brought it in... only for service to not pick up after several attempts. I left a message and proceeded to walk home from the gym rather than be stranded there. Glad the weather was nice. About 40 minutes later (after not having my call returned) I called again, got through to service and was told that my car had JUST finished. How convenient. Finally, after arriving and getting to my car... the tires hadnt been rotated as requested.I guess Ill have to drive the extra 20 minutes to Franklin for good customer service.

My daughter dropped off her 18 Crosstrek here yesterday, for a 10am appt to get 2 recalls fixed and the oil changed. She dropped it at 9:30. The recall notices estimated 2 hours total for both repairs. She had someone dro[p her off at 4:30 to pick the car up, but was told it wasnt ready. So she waited until 6pm, when they close, and was then told she will have to leave the car so they could finish tomorrow. This was not an option for her, so she told them she will need the car now. They told her none of the work had been completed!! Let her sit there for almost 2 hours with no communication. Then when she got down the road, she noticed the console had been damaged...they left something very heavy on the top of it, leaving two large indentions, which are still there this morning. I have called twice this morning, and have had to leave messages as no one answered the phone...except the receptionist, who is not on site! Very unprofessional operation!!! DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE!!!Please Scott Prudhomme Service Manager or Tim Kobal (not sure of spelling, these are the names the receptionist gave me) General Manager return my phone call TODAY!!! This needs to get resolved.

I do not know where to start, but first of all Subaru Of Nashville was by far the best dealership out of at least 10 or more that I was trying to work with. My salesman was Cliff and there are not enough stars to rate him, Cliff is very easy to talk to, personable and very genuine. I’ve always enjoyed the service I have received from Subaru dealers in the past, but this is far from the truth at Downtown Nashville. I first went in for over 700 dollars’ worth of scheduled service and night I picked up my Forester I encountered a pretty bad rain storm and found out my washer fluid was empty. This was pretty surprising since a scheduled service was just done. I called to just make sure that they check washer fluid during this service. The guy there was great, and was hey that was wrong of us and next time you come in oil change on us. I felt good. They made it right. So, I go in next time and I tell the service person I’m supposed to get a free oil change and he acts like I’m being cheap. I then tell him my wheel stud needs replaced and I think it’s covered under warranty. Well, I come back to pick it up when it’s finished and they are charging me for the wheel stud. The guy I talked to before is on his personal phone screaming at someone, so I have someone else check me out. I paid for it, which I shouldn’t of and then I asked the new guy, are you sure that stud wasn’t under warranty? He then checks with first guy (who was screaming on phone) who sees I have gold warranty and he says well I should have told him that??? He then tries to say well since you got free oil change it’s a wash. What the hell? They then say they will refund me which is now 6 weeks later and have no refund. I have talked to an assistant manager who said would call me back that day, no return call. And at one point was told I would get refunded when Subaru refunded them through the warranty? I didn’t think that was how warranties work.Update on review Subaru did call me back and apologize for not getting refund promptly. They have since refunded me which to me does say something because they have attempted to make it right.
This is my second time to purchase a Subaru Forrester in the last four years, but my first experience using downtown Subaru in Nashville. I wish I had done that the first time… This experience was much smoother, faster and far more pleasant, even considering that there is a shortage of vehicles in this age of pandemic. And I love my car. Special thanks to my sales guy, Cliff Goetz! I do recommend that you ask for him specifically.

Bought my ‘21 WRX STI here recently, and I highly recommend this location. I had a unique situation involving out of state factors, but Cliff and Mike were able to get it sorted out for me. Customer service was outstanding, professional and personal through each step of the process making it so much easier. Cliff was extremely respectful and hard working, going the extra mile to make sure I was able to purchase this vehicle. I called Subaru to ask if they can help my son who is a first responder. He is traveling from New Jersey to Austin Texas. He is volunteering his time and money to help COVID Hospital patients. They said he would have to wait at least a week to get a oil change and headlight bulb which would take about 30 minutes of time. Before he got to Nashville he was pull over and receive at ticket because the headlight was out and the oil light came on right after that, Subaru had just change the engine on a recall 6 months earlier. I thought Subaru was a great car? Now I find out this dealership doesn’t care about first responders. What a shame.

I purchased my used 2012 Acura Mdx from here my salesperson was named Chubby(Such a nice person), very helpful. To be totally honest I started to have buyers remorse after a road trip. Let me explain, a few days after purchasing I felt a little agitation when I hit 60mph. I took it back to supposedly have an alignment done. Welll after my road trip I felt the shaking again. I took it back and met Tyler♥️. He explained that hes only been there for 2wks and want to make sure his customers are satisfied and safe. Let me tell you he has been very honest, helpful and courteous, as well as professional with attention to detail. He has kept me in the loop every step of the way. He came in on his day off to give me an update to the progress of my vehicles maintenance. So far Im loving him and plan to continue to go to him part all others. He has saved my relationship and feelings toward this establishment when it comes to service.

I bought my pre-owned subaru outback in October of 2020. First of all, Jason the finance manager was the best! He was very patient and forthcoming and will forever change your opinion of finance managers at car dealerships. Secondly, in the months since my purchase there have been a few minor issues that needed attention from the dealership and in walks Frank, the used car manager. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Frank, he is very accomoadating and I legitimately feel his goal is for the customer to walk away satisfied. Also, if you are in the market for a subaru and find yourself at downtown Nashville ask for Chris, hes a very helpful and knowledgeable salesman in my experience.Side note: service department has been in a bit of disarray but it does seem they might have turned a corner recently.

The Downtown Nashville service department is just flat out bad. High prices, poor customer service, long wait times, and the list goes on.Ive lived in Nashville for nearly 4 years now and have visited 6 times for recalls and regular service, and have never had an A+ experience. Once a 3 hour recall turned into 3 days without my car. Ive told their representatives multiple times that I purchased the Subaru extended warranty with the car, and yet they always try to charge you for things that are covered under warranty.Finally I decided to look into other options and found Darrell Waltrip Subaru in Franklin. They are better in literally every category. Very happy to have finally found a service center that I can trust, and will not be going back to Downtown Nashville Subaru.
