Charged me $2300 to NOT fix my vehicle. They claim to have changed several parts that were, in fact, not replaced. After two days and $2300, my vehicle was in the same shape it was in when I brought it to them. They didn’t care to fix the problem or to communicate, they just wanted to take my money. Called me 15 minutes before they closed to tell me my vehicle was “finished”. Took my money, and evacuated the premises before I could even close the door on my car. Absolutely swindlers at this business. Do not waste your money here.

Charged $85 to diagnose the check engine light with a simple plug and play OBDII scanner. Then wanted another $85 to diagnose why they couldnt get their OBDII scanner to work on my car.

I had an issue with battery light coming on while visiting Nashville and took my vehicle there on a Saturday. They hustled and completed my repair the same day! They did a great job and I would highly recommend them for repairs and very reasonably priced.

I scheduled an appointment to get my air compressor repaired on Saturday May 22nd, 2021 using their website. On Saturday May 22nd at 2:26 PM I received a call from the shop, and the man that called me asked me for more details of what I needed repaired and told me to come in Tuesday May 25th for a repair. I get here and the front desk kept telling me that they are booked for a week and 2 days, even after I told him I received a call to schedule my appointment. Now I have to wait even longer to get my ac repaired because I have to go through this whole process with another company right before summer!

Had a great experience here, I thought I had an issue with my windshield wiper motor... but the arm was just broken. They replaced everything good as new for a reasonable price. They are very unprofessional. Katie told me a price to get my water pump fixed and when my car was about to get worked on, she changed the price and told me they would have to keep my car until I paid the new amount. They failed to tell me from the beginning that they were going to change the price. Do not go here, they are all about taking your money and have bad customer service.

Allow me to describe my experience at this so called mechanic. During a road trip I had a few lights pop on while I was spending time in the great city of Nashville. Seeing that this shop had appointments available, it was near me, and it had seemingly good reviews I dropped it off to check what my issues could be. I did receive a swift call back in a matter of hours however they told me I needed a new motor. Mind you my vehicle only has 65000 miles on it, and the motor is literally just being broken in. They failed to do any testing besides the diagnostic computer and a visual exam. When I pressed them to do a more thorough examination I was told it was not necessary while in the same breath I was quoted for a motor with 150000 miles. I paid their diagnostic fee (100$ for nothing!!!!)and moved it to a more reputable place where they have completed all repairs and have me back on the road(original motor intact) for a fraction of the quoted price. Do not trust this business with your vehicle.

After driving from Huntsville, AL to drop a kiddo off at the Nashville Airport, my Jeep started misfiring. It was close to 5:00 on a Friday. I could not believe my fortune in finding a shop that was close to the airport and still open.Katie gave me a run-down of what she thought the problem was and then let me know they were open Saturday and might be able to fix it before closing the next day.They came through like champions! Outstanding timely service and excellent customer care.I hope I never break down in Nashville again, but I know where Ill go if I do.

Please do not use this dishonest business, it was honestly an awful experience and I’ll never be coming back again. Here’s my experience:I just moved to Nashville and my car broke down so I took it to this shop. Well it took them a while to figure out what was wrong with it, turns out it was an electrical problem and my car was in the shop for a full week, which was a long/stressful time for me without a car. Apparently they changed out the fuse box and they charged me a huge amount of money without really telling me what they did. So I got my car back and when I drove it home, I noticed on my dashboard that it said “No Fuse” and didn’t know what it meant. So I called the shop and he didn’t even know what it meant. He told me that it’s fine as long as it keeps on driving. So for the next 3 months I drove it even though the fob didn’t work so I had to unlock it manually and my car would always honk when I turned it on and say no fuse. There were times when I wanted to take my car back to the shop to tell them that they didn’t fix it right, but I didn’t want to risk having my car be stuck there for an entire week! Well one day I went to start up my car and it wouldn’t turn on, so I called the shop and Katie said that the diagnostic would be free. So my car got towed to the shop and later I got a phone call that it was my battery that was dead, which made no sense because I got a battery back in August! My battery was under warranty so I took an Uber to this car shop, picked up my “dead” battery, Uber to the NAPA store to exchange the battery but they told me that the battery was perfectly fine. I was so shocked and upset but the kind worker gave me a new battery anyways. Then I Uber back to the car shop to drop off the new battery, then Uber home. It was all so exhausting. The next day when I picked up my car he charged me $85 for the diagnostic fee, even though Katie said it would be free. Then $85 to put the battery in my car!! I asked how long did it take to put the battery in my car and he straight up lied to me and said it took over an hour, just to put a battery in my car!! I drove it home and guess what “no fuse” popped up on my dashboard again and the car fob still did not work!! They didn’t completely fix my car because they didn’t know how to! All they cared about was the money.

Do not use this shop! Ive been working on vehicles for 25 years. Car went in with one small problem and came out with a broken water pump and A/C compressor. BOTH I had replaced only a few weeks prior. The car died a mile down the road. The owner yelled at me and berated me on the phone and refused to do anything about it. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Just another rip off shop. I am 99% sure the owner was hopped up on cocaine too. Ive seen it before and know what it looks like. AVOID.

We were traveling from Chattanooga to Kansas City and our battery light came in in Nashville. We tried to go to Firestone but they wouldn’t assess the situation for at least an hour or more. So I googled mechanics near me and the closest one was The Mechanic Spot. When you are out of town, you are always afraid that you are going to get ripped off. Absolutely terrible experience. Was quoted 1800 which is at least double what it should have been for brake service. I work on my own cars and was unable to get to it. When i received the quote i politely declined. after much back and forth i was quoted 92 dollars for the diagnostic work.Upon pick up (with tow truck) i was charged $150 for the diagnostic work. I towed to another shop.Update: music city 4x4 fixed the brakes for $330. I hope the $157 ridiculous diagnostic fee for pulling 4 wheels (2 of which you didnt have authorization to even look at) was worth the negative review. It was absolutely worth dragging it out of there on a tow truck to save $1,470.00.Avoid this place at all costs.

Went to get a routine oil change done and they were able to find something that was on the verge of being horrible. They were able to completely explain the situation and get the issue fixed cheaper then everyone else in town. From now on I will only bring my car here. Ok let me tell you about my experience at the mechanic spot. I took my vehicle in for service. Had a problem control in the automobile. I see a sign that says free estimates🤷‍♂️ on there website? ? There charged me 90 dollars to get an estimate. I pick up the automobile the guy said the tires just needed air. Which was untrue they somehow missed a large nail in my back right tire. Which they charged me 95 dollars for?? I keep my automobile clean on the insidemy car was trashed on the inside when I got the vehicle back and the passenger above mirror/light fixture was open causing my battery to die according to the associate who fetched the vehicle.Unsatisfied and “unprofessional” to say the least. two thumbs down!!

A few co-workers of mine suggested this place, and I am so glad I went. I went to have regular routine maintenance done and found that they have a wide variety of services at this location. I was able to get everything I needed done in one visit. I have been looking for a great place like this. The technicians were extremely professional and very knowledgeable. The price was great too! I even found a coupon I could use on their website. I will definitely be returning to The Mechanic Spot for all of my future needs.

Q is the man. He arranged my f250 to be picked up He keep me up to date every few hours. He literally saved me over a thousand dollars from what the dealership quoted me and had the job done before the dealership could even look at it. This mechanic shop is different. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I got a quote on engine replacement from the owner, Q at the beginning of August. I based choosing this business on internet research as I did seek several quotes from other mechanics shops to compare. The Mechanic Spot won the contest hands down. Not only did Mr. Q repair my failed engine, but he also diagnosed and repaired ailing air conditioning, which was MUCH needed, since it was the end of Summer and still very hot. It gets so cold that I have to turn it all the way down or wear a sweater and my car is running sweet! I believe I have found a forever mechanic for all my auto repair needs.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING TO THE MECHANIC SPOT: Its very hard to look over reviews and feel like youre getting a solid opinion, as most people only take the time to review if their experience was really good or really bad. I gave The Mechanic Spot the benefit of the doubt as there were enough good reviews to make me feel the spot was probably legitimate. Please dont make my mistake. My wife and I visited Nashville in early July on our first trip to the city, and as luck would have it we woke up to a dead car one our first day. As we had already been having battery issues, I knew the solution was something more than simply jump starting it, as it would just die again 30 minutes later. We had the car taken to The Mechanic Spot and waited for the diagnosis. I called ahead and was told Yes, we have an open bay and can work on it right away if you get it here now, which is what we did. No more than 15 minutes later the car was in their shop. Fast forward 5 hours later and the shop was going to be closing in 30 minutes and we still hadnt been called. When I call them back they say, Oh, yes its ready. You can come get it. We were never informed what the exact issue was, or what the price was going to be. When I arrived, the gentleman behind the counter said, We determined there was a short in your dashboard that was draining the battery. They charged us for 2 hours of labor and all in all, we were out $300. The guy knew we were not local and were in town just for 2 days. I wish I had never told him that. Fast forward to yesterday. Our car died again, exact same issue, in the exact same way, only a few weeks later. We had it taken to another auto shop, this time the one down the street where weve done a lot of business. The owner called me up and asked what was going on, and I explained the same thing I told The Mechanic Spot, and mentioned what they had done to fix it. Well, they got the issue fixed immediately and called me back to say, The issue was the connection terminals. They werent getting enough contact with the battery. Whatever that shop did in Nashville, they pulled one over on you. We looked in the dash, there was no issue, nor does it look like any work has been done. Our car is now up and running perfectly and it was a $60 repair, from an honest shop. We paid over $300 to The Mechanic Spot for a repair we were straight up told was pointless and didnt fix anything. Please dont make our mistake. This is not an honest shop. There are a lot of comments on here pointing to this conclusion, but theres enough good experiences to make you think, They cant be that bad. Yes, they are. Look for someone else. Especially if youre out of town, you will pay the tourist tax if you take your car here. Stay away.

Dont ever go here. They dont return phone calls. Had a situation on a Saturday where they said theyd call back and never did, so we called, and they said theyd talk to the mechanic and give a call back. Never called back. So, we tried to drive to pick up car because they were unresponsive and they were closed so had to wait until Monday to pick up car. That is TERRIBLE customer service They dont care about customers. Worst experience with a car mechanic. Go anywhere else.

So my story is this...my car ran out juice, battery power, while sitting out in a parking lot. Overnight. I called me Hani. Spot to come tow my car and get a new battery. I went to the business the next day and found the shop to be very clean and stylish inside, different for me Hani shops, that was the best part. So, when I got my car back I asked the man if everything in my car check out good and he said yes,. Well, a couple ofinutes after driving off the lot my car was making scratching metal sounds, no bueno. My car made sounds for a month or so and then disappeared? Crooks ate Hani. Spot messed withy car since I was asingle woman with no knowledge I guess? Anyway the battery they installed lastsed less than a year...probably used.......BUYER BEWRE...

Don’t go here if you need only one thing fixed or you’re out of state. We took it in to get our wheel bearing changed and that was it, they told us the total for all the repairs was going to be 900 dollars. They tried to take advantage of us because we were young and out of state.

Not good at all, i dont recommend nobody to go to this shop, I took my car Toyota Prius, to have them check and he just charge me 92 dlls to tell me what I already knew, and then also he recommended me to buy a can of gasoline and burn the car, just because he couldnt fix it, yesterday I got my car fix for 1200 dlls he want to charge me 3500. Very bad experience and very bad service. Even if the car doesnt work you never suggest something like that.

Took a vehicle here to have a new engine installed, I provided the engine and let them keep the old one. Didnt hear from them until it was done, and they informed me they did an additional$1700 in repairs, which I was never informed or approved of. Dont take your vehicle here!

They’re crooks. They will charge you for every little thing they can. And charge you for things you never ask for. They tried to scam me out of paying 3 grand to fix my car, when all I needed was a replacement part. A simple 85 dollar diagnostic could end up costing you 1-2 grand in the end.If you don’t believe me, let them tell you what’s wrong with your car, then go to another shop and see if they will tell you the same thing... and compare prices and details.

I didn’t get the news I wanted, but the people were really nice and helpful. They were fair and told me it wasn’t worth fixing my car.

I went to the mechanic spot because I was having issues with my brakes. Once I arrived the gentleman at the counter stated there was a $30 diagnostic fee to inspect my brakes. After the inspection, the gentleman stated I would need $500 worth of parts and labor to repair the problem. I went to Budget Brakes and they were able to fix the problem for under $200.

Had brake calipers, rotors and pads replaced. Price was fair and the work was done well. Great experience.

Omg bad business, paid 700 for a starter, that I didnt give permission to fix, and was told by another mechanic I need a new starter. Keep in mind it been only 3 weeks since they so called fixed it. I do believe due to the drama behind the whole situation, they initially fixed it, but after the altercation, they took it off and hooked it up wrong. Took my car there to get it fixed caused it was using alot of oil and some other issues and got chargedway over a thousand dollars and the issue is still there and they did something to my muffler cause now it makes a noise real loud..stay away they will rip you off and charge you double to fix something and then its not fixed
