Went fto get headlight fixed. Told them it was a wiring issue.called said it was ready and fixed. I get there light still isnt working he gets up under car and jiggles wires and it comes on. Of course it went back out an hour later.tHe was dishonest about work they did. They literally just jiggled some wires then tells me they would need to take bumper off and find which wire to fix which would have been fine and fixed my issue. But definitely not taking back to them bc it was obvious they are dishonest.

I called this place as I had seen it on my way to Vinyl Tap many times. I live in the West End, however, this place seemed like a good lil shop and I figured in case I ever had to wait a long time for a repair, I could always walk to the record shop.My issue was that my horn was not working. I called the day before and they said bring it in the next day. I did, and within no time, they let me know the problem was in the steering wheel and that they would have to order the part as well as take a part the steering wheel to repair. I had to take a long road trip the next day, so I didnt have the time to order and get the repair done this time. I will be doing so next time. I also had a check engine light on that they quickly assesed as a minor emmissions error and cleared off the dashboard for me. This was relieving as I was concerneced it may have been a larger problem before such a long road trip. Additonally, I let them know the windshield wiper fluid was not ejecting properly, and they fixed that in a second. I was quite impressed by the service. I asked how much did I owe, and they let me know there was no charge for all this. Im quite impressed and I will be coming back to get my horn repaired as well as any other auto needs that I have. I highly recommend! Bonus points for the cleanliness of the interior as well.

I truly hate writing this review. These guys are right around the corner from me, and although they are a little high, it has been great to have them change my oil, rotate my tires, etc. They get great reviews and are super nice. I am hoping this was one bad, dishonest experience, but I certainly won’t be able to trust or use them again. I took my car in to have the tires rotated, and they told me that I needed to have a couple of wheel studs and a couple of lugs replaced. They also told me I needed new brakes and rotors. The quote for everything was $678. Seeming terribly high, we decided to make the trip back to Franklin to a mechanic we used for years when we lived there and knew we could totally trust. Nashville Auto Care told me that they had to at least replace the wheel studs and lugs before I could drive the car again, so I let them do that, at a cost of $125. When we took the car to our mechanic in Franklin, he said that they had used the wrong size studs/lugs and had used a grinder to make them fit. Our Franklin mechanic fixed the wheels and did our brake pads. He said in no way did we need new rotors. His total bill was $268. This is obviously a one star review, but I gave them two stars because they were willing to refund my $125 for the botched job on the lug nuts. I just wonder what could have potentially happened if I had been going 70 miles an hour down the interstate with the improper lug nuts. I would suggest getting a couple of quotes both for the cost and to be sure you truly need what they suggest you do!

Avoid at all costs. They lie and rip you off like crazy. Was a customer for years, hundreds of dollars down the drain. Sad it’s so hard to find a trustworthy auto shop.

The guys here are the nicest people I have met in Nashville!They fixed my Jeep as I was passing through, it was smoking under the hood and I was so worried and scared that I wouldnt make it home back to Michigan but they helped me get home safe and sound.Thank you so much again you guys!Your Amazing and I will never forget you.God Bless You!!!

I called a few mechanics and they all said it would take two weeks to change an ignition coil. Jerry and the mechanics here did it in just a few hours. A lot of stress off my chest and no more check engine light on my dash.

If I could give zero stars I would!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS GUY! Took car in due to check engine light on. Was told I needed coils 5 and 3 replaced. Three hours later he called back and said car is ready. When I arrived he said coils changed but I needed a computer which he could not do. He recommended another shop for the computer. Car was not running any better. Went to recommended shop and I did not need a computer. Found out Nashville Auto had put coil 3 where coil 5 should have been and the wires were bad on the coils. I was charged $491 for work that was not done. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Quickly and professionally diagnosed my engine problem. They found that there was a recall on the engine and pointed me towards how to claim the recall. This was greatly appreciated as they could have not mentioned it and charged me for a new engine! I would go back.

This place was amazing. I had two VVT solenoids that needed replacing on my 2013 Nissan Versa, so I ordered the parts and planned on putting them in myself. After getting the parts, I realized that I didnt have the tools (or expertise) to do the repair myself. I called these guys on a Monday morning and they told me to bring it in and they could work me into the schedule. They had just finished a car when I got there and they got me right in and put two of their people on the job. They had the solenoids replaced and my oil changed in about an hour. When I checked the Nissan dealership and some other places they were wanting around $400 to do the job. These guys did the replacement and oil change for $255, which was a great, fair price. The staff was friendly and the customer service was amazing. They checked the codes and I drove away with my car feeling like its old self. I highly recommend these guys for anyone new to Nashville, or someone looking for a new mechanic that has fair prices.

My engine was overheating. Jerry got me in promptly, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed the same day. When the car comtinued to overheat, Nashville Auto Care got me right back in and resolved the remaining issue free of charge. I will be taking my business back to these guys in the future.

So about two weeks ago after losing my car to the tornado in march and having no way to get back-and-forth to chemo my friends got together and got me this car and I went to get my first oil change at Beaman Toyota because my car is a Toyota. Beeman Toyota told me that I have a severe oil leak in my engine and my car requires 18 hours of work and it will cost over $3000. I cannot afford $300 right now I cannot afford $30 right now I wanted a second opinion so I called a friend that I trust Who works in a tire shop and asked him where do I need to go to get my second opinion and he sent me to Nashville auto care and they showed me every bit of the area where the oil leak was claimed to be and they showed me everywhere else too. there is absolutely no oil leaks it is bone dry and the entire list of things that were apparently Wrong with my car that needed fixing immediately, according to Beaman Toyota, only two of those things were accurate and that was my brakes and my rotors and when I get those I will 100% go to Nashvillle auto care because they didn’t care about Making the most money by being manipulative they cared about me and taking care of my needs and telling me the truth about my car and I will forever be grateful and I will also be a forever customer

A few weeks ago, I brought my car in for a quick but important fix. I had no appointment, but they got it fixed up and returned to me within literally five minutes. They were friendly and efficient! Since Im new in town, I plan to make them my go-to place for auto repair even though I live on the other side of town!

These guys are consistently so kind and great! Always go here for oil changes and anything else I need. Just had them replace a headlight which was super quick and inexpensive. They also insisted on wiping some bird poop off of the side of my car, which was really not their job. So kind and awesome! Hoping to get new tires from them soon as well.

Great service! We were visiting and on our last day the car battery died. Jerry was super kind and got us back on the road in no time. He even checked the air in the tires!

Went in for an oil change and 15 minutes later my car came out of their garage with a huge dent on the rear quarter panel. They didnt mention the dent in my car until i said something about it (they were just going to let me go not knowing). The excuse that Jerry gave was that his equipment in the garage that lifts the vehicles are worn out and that my car slid off of it. 1 month later these guys havent done anything about the dent and since then have denied all claims. We will see them in court shortly and little did they know i have a video from one of their employees that shows my car being damaged in their shop. Sad when the employees have more integrity than the actual owners. Stay away from these crook specialists

I will be a customer as long as I’m in Nashville.I showed up today 3 minutes before closing with a sheared off alternator bolt, after trying to replace my drive belt on my own. I figured I’d at least drop the car off so they could look at it the next day, and I’d pick up the car a few days after that, a few hundred bucks lighter. But no, the mechanic walked me out to my car to have a look, walked back to the garage for some tools, fixed my car in five minutes and charged me just the $45 diagnostic fee. Faith in humanity restored.Go here if you want an honest, friendly and hardworking mechanic to fix your car.

Well, this one was probably my fault, but Im pretty sure I got ripped off. With a little more research and/or time I could have saved myself a incredibly high price tag. I took my Hyundai Elantra in with the dreaded check engine light on just a few days before my tags expired. I normally go elsewhere, but this place is very close to my house, had great reviews, and looked like a true local establishment. They quickly and professionally diagnosed the problem as a bad O2 sensor and quoted me $395 for parts/labor, plus a $90 for a smoke test, plus tax. I was assured the $45 diagnostic fee would be waived because I was going through with the repairs.I return at the end of the day, get my car and of course, the diagnostic fee was not waived. I questioned this and he quickly said it had been deducted it from the labor cost... which was false because the parts and labor added up to be $395, exactly his initial quote. It was late and I didnt fight it. All in all, I left with an almost $600 bill. Upon further investigation, an O2 sensor for my car costs between $60-$150 for the part at a retailer such as AutoZone. This places price $245. Also, basic research shows that an average O2 sensor parts and labor by a mechanic on average cost between $200-$400.All in all, I should have done my homework and pushed back a little harder, but it would have been more pleasant to deal with an honest, local mechanic. Again, they were very nice and quick, therefore they dont deserve a 1 star review, but because my wallet is significantly lighter, I wont be going back and cant recommend this place to others.

Wonderful experience with Nashville Auto Care & Towing. I drive a 94 Accord and had a minor problem with my brake lights that was causing my battery to drain overnight. They were flexible and able to fit me in same day, quick, friendly, and very reasonably priced. Would absolutely recommend and will be visiting them again.

I came in to have a leaking tire on my Porsche 911 investigated. Everybody was very friendly and stopped to help me despite other cars already there being serviced. They found and fixed the hole in my tire in about 5 minutes and had me on my way. I’m very pleased that this service center is just down the road from me!

Nice people but I feel the.prices are out of line. Paid over $600 for a tuneup which included labor cost of $261. It was fixed in less than 4 hours. Also had a charge for evap smoke test for $75. No idea what that was. Also needed to replace EGR valve and their quote was the highest I received. Sure that they are good mechanics but I cant afford them. H & H is my new place

These guys tried to rip me off. I’ve been going here for two years to get my oil changed. Asked them to check the brake pads, they lied and told me I needed all pads and rotors replaced. For $750. Went to a different tire shop for a second opinion and learned I didn’t even need new pads. Will never go here again. Steer clear

Great guys. Ive taken multiple cars to them and have always had a good experience. They give fair prices, are really friendly, and are always willing to explain things if you ask.During my most recent visit, I talked to Jerry about a coolant leak on my Volvo 940. Turns out the heater core was broken. Replacing the heater core isnt a trivial job (~10 hours of labor); when I told Jerry I couldnt afford it, he simply told me that I could go to Autozone and get a $5 hose coupler to bypass the heater core. I simply wouldnt be able to use the heater.The location is convenient for me since I live right down the street, but even if I move to a different part of the city Ill drive across town to take my car here.

Great neighborhood trustworthy service for years now

My girlfriend and I own older vehicles so I try to keep up with their regular maintenance myself. Now, whenever something major or difficult arises, I know who I can trust. My 1994 Jeep Cherokee was experiencing major gear slippage and leaking a good amount of fluids. When I towed it over, they pinpointed the problem to a faulty transmission cooler line almost immediately. A lot of other mechanics would have put me through the wringer and said it was something much, MUCH more expensive. I got out of there paying an extremely fair and reasonable amount. Not to mention, Ive always respected this crew for how well they listen and communicate to their customers. Couldnt ask for a better mechanic. Wish I had found them sooner!

Working on my cars for years like family

Rip-off. I went in for a spark plug and wires change in my 99 VW because it was loosing acceleration and misfiring. They charged me $150 for the $50 wires (more than the dealership would have charged) and two hours for labor when the job only took 45 mins. The total cost was over $400 when it should have been under $200. Father and son rip-off artists. I really wanted to support a local father and son operation but I felt like they took advantage of me. The worst part is that they didnt even fix the problem I went in for. I called back and they said I would have to change a different part. I guess Ill just go to the dealership where itll be cheaper. I never thought Id say that.

Thought my 2003 Civic Si had a Honda Accord engine. Embarrassing when I know more about a car than someone who works on cars for a living. Tried to charge me $300 for a thermostat ($20 part at AutoZone) tried to charge me $850 for 2 O2 sensors and a Catalytic converter (about $250 at AutoZone). Didnt seem to understand English well either.

Had a problem with a tail light and Firestone couldnt repair...just did a drop-in at Nashville Auto and they repaired in 5 mijutes...Iwill definitely use them for future needs.

I called them thinking I needed a tow to Midas or NTB for an alternator/battery. I had called both Midas and NTB before hand to check prices and they told me around $250 after installation. When Jerry arrived he asked where and why I was going, he checked the car in the parking lot I was at, said it was just a dead battery. So he offered to drive me to an auto parts store, get me a discount on a battery, come back and install it right in the parking lot for the price of the tow! I would have had to pay for the tow, overpriced battery and labor... instead I paid for the discounted battery and the tow. I cant recommend these guys enough

Pretty bad I one knew I would have to pay something for a diagnostic but the man never said anything he just took my keys drove my car came back and told me it was going to be $400 I told him that I couldnt afford it at that time so he told me I had to pay him $45 and that if I came back and got the work from him it would come off my bill when I asked for like a diagnostic page or like a quote or something to show what I just paid $45 for this is what he gave me a hand written note I decided to have the work done and he told me it would take 4 hours not a good start
