Was there because was waiting on someone to change flat tire in Walgreens parking lot next door. WG bathroom closed due to,plumbing issues, so walked up to Precision Tune. Everyone there so very, very nice. Have a seat! Wait here where its cool! If I ever need work done on My car, I know where Im going!

Don’t lost you time it is so bad

I have been there twice now and both times were superb experiences. The manager Chris is such a helpful and honest guy - very transparent about options and explained everything well. There was absolutely no upsell here and I know for certain I saved a lot of money following Chris advice. Word of warning - they are always ultra-busy (they only have a three or four bay garage after all) so dont get all mad if they cant wave a wand and make stuff happen within a hour.

I took my Silverado here due to a check engine light that was caused by a knock sensor. I was told to arrive early in the morning and they would take a look at it right away. That did not happen. They were late to open and then told me they did not have time to look at the vehicle while I was there. They charged me $904 to replace the knock sensors, and the check engine light came on during my drive home from the shop. I called to tell them, and they said I could bring it back and they would check their work. I left the vehicle with them again, and I called a few times to check on status with no return call. I finally showed up at the shop a few days later to check on the truck and they told me they had checked their work and there were no issues with their installation but that the truck has a terrible knock at high RPMs, and I would have to bring it to the dealer. The dealerships inspection showed the following: the newly installed knock sensor harness has been smashed between the intake manifold and gasket and cylinder head which caused separation of the wiring; knock sensor two wire is completely smashed; low frequency dtc for both sensors; number one knock sensor bad from being dropped or over-torqued or from aftermarket harness being of lower quality. INCOMPETENT OR DISHONEST (NOT SURE WHICH) - DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I received my daughters Ford Focus SE two days ago. There have been no issues with the replacement parts thus far.

Ive been using these guys for several years for both personal and business vehicles. They are always friendly and have taken great care of us.

I had to get a catalytic converter replaced. Precision Tune did it for significantly less than Ford was going to charge me. They were incredibly kind, professional, and informative. They had my car back to me the next day. They called me to update me on everything that they found and then let me know what to expect with my new part AND how to send my warranty in for my new catalytic converter. A+++++ service. I will continue to go here for any cars repairs and recommend it to anyone who asks.

I get my oil changes done here and they are always so quick and thorough. Recently, I needed air in my tires before a trip and they kindly fit me in very last minute. I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. Happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I called to bring my car in to have the transmission fluid checked. The gentleman on the phone told me to come in on Monday and he would have more help to get it done. I arrived on Monday and was told that they couldnt do it. I had the day off to run this errand and my wife took time off to pick me up from the appointment. We wasted our time because these guys werent on the same page. I wouldnt trust this shop.

I had my car towed here just last year in which I told them to replace the battery and whatever else needed because the car wouldn’t start it took them forever to fix my car. they barley answered the phone then when I got my car back it started right up and a day later started doing the same thing again because they hadn’t fixed all they were supposed to. I had called them many times after that in which they didn’t answer so I got stuck with the same issue of my car having a problem starting up.

Took my car to a few mechanics before here years ago who told me I needed XYZ done. Brought my car here and Chris let me know that they were trying to rip me off for my age/gender, told me I only need X done, and did it for a fair price. Came back today and he is still the most kind and respectful mechanic I’ve interacted with in Nashville.

Local, friendly spot to get automobile service.UPDATE: This business is part of an automotive maintenance program. I have used them once with a good outcome. However, I recently tried to use them twice only to be denied service. I followed all the procedures for making my appointment and received confirmation. But when I took my car at the appointed time they denied service. When I called to confirm my appointment, they said appointments arent accepted at that location. Beware, avoid this business. They cant offer the service they commit to.

My cars engine light came on last night and smoke was coming out of the hood this morning on my way to work. I took my car to Precision Tune Auto Care and Chris performed a diagnostic, explained what was wrong, and was able to fix the issue very quickly. I appreciate his honesty, patience, and professionalism. I will be coming back for my oil changes and anything else that my car may need. I have only been in Nashville for a little over a year and I am beyond ecstatic that Ive found my mechanic!

Finding a reliable source to fix your car when you move to a new city can be a stressful task. Im sure glad I found Chris at Precision Tune Auto Care. Ive been taking my Jeep here for several years. No matter how big or small the issue Chris always make sure to take the time to educate you on the issue and gives extremely affordable estimates on getting it fixed. I recently had an issue with my drivers side mirror and Chris was able to fix it quickly at no charge. As long as I live in Nashville I will not take my Jeep anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Took my car for a Break/Rotor replacement and also a battery replacement. I Had the same problems so took it to another mechanic and was told they were improperly placed and was also cheap quality parts. I would not recommend if you want poor quality labor and cheap parts.

The entire team is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and make sure to find the best prices for the parts they can. They also take the time to show you what was wrong and explain every step they took to complete the repairs.

All I can say is wow...as in I’m in complete disbelief. I don’t know how they have high reviews as my experience both times I’ve been here have been horrible. They over promise on their timeline and severely under deliver. Not only that but their communication is horrible. I dropped my car off on Friday morning with a laundry list of things to be done, primarily battery and acceleration issues and was told it’d be ready sometime Saturday. No call on Saturday and didn’t get ahold of them before they closed. I had to call Monday. Was told they’d work up an estimate and call me. No call. I had to call them Tuesday and asked when it’d be ready. Was told 3pm. Came in at 3:30 to find they had done an oil change and inspection. That’s it. Four entire work days for an oil change. They hadn’t even checked the battery which was the primary reason I brought it in. No explanation on the acceleration issues. I get that this place is busy but stop over promising on when the work will be done and if you say you’re going to call someone - DO IT. I spent the entire weekend and beginning of the work week without a car because I kept getting back burnered and put off - and all that got done was an oil change...now I have to go somewhere else for the actual issues. Complete waste of time and energy.

Ive been a customer at this Precision Tune for 20 years. Chris runs a tight ship here at Precision Tune. Very friendly service. Chris goes out of his way to keep you as a customer. My friend had an accident with a parking lot pole. It caused a tire rub. Going on a road trip soon and needed a temporary fix until the car can be taken to the body shop. I called Chris and he told me to come on down this afternoon and he would work me in and take car of it. I stopped in at 3pm and by 3:30 Chris fixed it himself. I tried to pay him and he said no charge for a regular customer. Chris said it only took 5 minutes and not to worry. He also gives me good referrals for tires body shops and whatever I may need done. If you have a old car that needs to be kept on the road or a newer Kia with an extended warranty Chriss Precision Tune is certified to do all the work you need done. Hes always trying to save his customers money on all repairs. Very Trustworthy shop.

My car starter died and the AAA tech recommended Precision. I called Precision the next morning and they replaced my starter that day! Their quote was $150 less than the other shops I called, and Chris, the manager, called a few different suppliers to source the part I needed at the lowest price. Really appreciate that extra step to save me money. Plus, they have a great warranty (2 years/24,000 miles). I highly recommend!

I was surprise to see negative feedback when somebody drop there car off on Friday and expect magic to happen over the weekend all the shops know Friday drop means you are welling to wait for the next week to be look at early next week .a lot of shops they refuse to accept cars on Friday so customers do not use them as storage ..that is why i use them because never charge me over the weekend storage fees ..if your transportation is important do it before the weekend not at the weekend ..and there is no way all these feedback is wrong ..and you are correct ..I love this place and every one at this shop .

My boyfriend needed repairs done to his car and we werent sure what they were. I called this place and they were able to look at it and diagnose it in one day and repair it the next day for a very affordable price for the type of car he has. The only con is that I wish they worked by appointments and not first come, first serve. We were still in and out quickly though so great job, Chris.

This place has 15 to 20 cars always wrapped around the building you go in and they tell you to come back another day, then when you go back they still cant look at your vehicle.I had brakes done back in January they are squeeking I go in on 3/9 Chris tells me to come back next day I did and waited 3 hours to still not getting anything accomplished.

Good people report. So I was going through the drive-through at the bank today and the teller said, “Sir there is smoke coming out of your hood!”. So I immediately drove back towards my house and stopped at the first mechanic place I found which was Precision Auto Care in West Nashville. The guy was incredibly cool. He spent well over an hour with me trying to figure out what the problem was. Walked with me over to O’Reilly auto parts to get the right part, and fixed the problem. Then when I went inside to pay he just looked at me and said, “Dont worry about it, no charge.”He could have told me anything and charged me $1800 and I would have just had to have done it because I know nothing about cars. He is definitely getting a thank you card with a gift card inside of it and a five star review from me. Super grateful.

Probably the best vehicle service we have ever received. My husband went to three different places to find out what was wrong with his car. Discount tires, Budget Brakes, and even the Honda dealership itself. Budget brakes wanted almost $900 to fix issues that didnt even exist the Honda dealership wanted about $1200 for issues that did not exist. We took it over here based on reviews and I am so glad we did. The most honest and helpful folks I have ever encountered - especially dealing with cars. The only thing that was a necessity was for my husband to get front brakes. From there Chris explained what else we would need to do to the car and gave us a round about time frame we should complete it in. Chris took us out to my husbands car and explained what they did and educated us on what we would need to do in the future. He gave us quotes for the future items we would need and advised us on how much to expect to pay in the future. Completely honest establishment they could have replaced all brakes and rotors and charged us for them and they didnt because we didnt need all of that work done. I am beyond excited to now know we have a wonderful place to take both our vehicles to for future service! So glad we found you guys :)

For the price depending on your cars make and model its pretty reasonable. I really enjoy the staff, they are knowledgeable and experienced in cars. Everytime my VW needs work, I take it to Precision Auto on charlotte Pike.P.S. You will have to have patience with your repair. They have tons of cars on their lot for a reason, Theyre good. Great experience! They took me in last minute during the busiest time of the day, the prices for an oil change were way below what I saw at other places. They also checked my belt and tightened it for me free of charge. The wait was a little long, but well worth it. Great service.. definitely recommend!

Took my car in for an oil change and asked them to check my brake pads as I thought they might need to be replaced. Chris was friendly and got me in pretty quickly. The mechanic, Andrew, thoroughly checked my car and let me know my brake pads had plenty of life left. I believe many other shops would have seen an opportunity to make $$ of me and replaced the pads AND rotors. Seriously grateful for the honesty I found at this shop. Ill return and will definitely recommend Precision Tune Auto Care.

Unfortunately they operate on a First Come, First Served basis. I called on a Monday at 8am and there were already 13 Cars ahead of me! I dont have all day to wait to be served. They are excellent mechanics and their prices are very reasonable, just wish you could make an Appointment.

I came to get my brakes done Chris told me it would be done at 6:00. I showed back up and he told me he would have to get them done the next day I showed up when they were supposed to open at 8:00 and the person that was inside wouldnt even talk to me. Doesnt seem like I know how to run a business

I had a great experience with this shop and like everyone else says, Chris is a pleasure to deal with.My wife and I drove to Nashville for the weekend on a Friday. It is a 7 hour drive, and at about hour 5 our vehicle started making lots of noise from grinding to whining, but we made it. I suspected the carrier bearing. I found that this shop was open on Saturday and had good reviews so I showed up at their door early the next morning with the vehicle. I talked with Chris and told him what I thought it was and he had his lead mechanic drive it.Turns out that I was way off, it was not the carrier bearing (they checked it) but rather a broken motor mount. They brought me into the shop so I could see if for myself. I didnt figure that they could find such a specific part locally, on a Saturday no less, and get it installed, but that is exactly what they did. They performed the work likely cheaper than I could have gotten it done by my local mechanic and it completely fixed my issues.Being 7 hours from home and misdiagnosing the problem myself, I was totally at their mercy. They had every opportunity to replace additional parts, and charge additional labor and they did neither. I would recommend this shop to anyone for any repair.

I spoke with a manager (Chris) after I picked up my car last week and he actually hung up the phone after lying to me about my repair. Definitely do not take your car here if you are a female without knowledge of cars. They will steal money from you while the manager tries to back it up. I will never be returning :(

Best automotive repair shop I have ever known !!!!! Not driving these days and perhaps, will never drive again.

After giving a full rundown of what was going on with my car over the phone, including why it was being relocated to this location, I was assured by Chris that they would check the car, contact the warranty company, and fix the issue within 1 day. After day 1, I call and Im told oh, were pulling it in now and will call you back. Never heard back. Next day, called to check status and was told oh, were pulling it in now and will call you back, there was 1 car ahead of you. After having to give my warranty company info again. Never hear back. Day 3, no call. Day 4, Im told after calling that morning, oh it was just out of gas lol, I have it written that it was just stalling (after I told him from day 1 that it was overheating and leaking coolant). All while being extra nice and playful, & recognizing my number from calling. Then told, oh well look at now and call you back. Day 5, Im told the issue is not covered under warranty (previously diagnosed as a warranty issue by their sister location but they refused to accept warranty payment) AND they have to order the part which may be available the following Monday. A whole work week holding my car and wasting my time only to tell me its not going to be covered! I had to pay for a diagnostic test just to pick my car up and have it fixed at a (3rd) repair shop rather than pay them a dime more. The lies and lack of respect for my time was the worst part. I wouldve gladly paid out of pocket if this was resolved in a timely manner. Never again will I go to a Precision auto!

I called yesterday (4/12) and spoke with Chris who told me to get there on Saturday (4/13) a little before 8am, and they could have my ac recharged in about an hour. I get there this morning and they wouldn’t open the door until 8:40. I stood outside in the cold rain for 40 minutes and when they opened the door they told me they couldn’t fix my ac today because they are too busy. Not only did I cancel brunch plans to get my ac fixed, now I’ve lost an hour I can’t get back and have to call around to other places to try and get my ac fixed today. I get that they were busy, but making someone wait almost an hour instead of just telling them you can’t help them is ridiculous.

A year ago I had a check engine light that I had diagnosed at a Pep Boys down the road from Precision Tune. Pep Boys charged me $100 for a smoke test and didnt diagnose the problem correctly. They said it was a gas cap, it was an intake gasket. $100 wasted.I found Precision Tune Auto care and after reading the reviews I gave them a call for a smoke test to determine the problem so I could pass emissions. Chris told me to come down and hed look at it even after they had closed for the day. Long story short, these guys have earned a customer for life.He pinpointed the problem and fixed it. He explained in detail what was wrong, what parts I would need and quoted me a very fair price.Since that day I have returned to them for everything from brakes to an engine swap in my complicated and uncommon car.Im hesitant to use my gender here as an example, but Im completely comfortable walking into this shop and walk out knowing that Im not being ripped off because Im a female.Thank you Chris for everything.ITZBITZ is doing wonderful and driving as she should thanks to you guys.

I arrived early (about 10, 15 minutes before opening) on Saturday, September 2, 2017. I wanted to have them check my brakes and determine where the rattling sound was coming from.Chris at the counter was perfect for his position. He explained everything and was personable and caring. The Hispanic man who was my mechanic also explained everything, making me feel confident he would do an excellent job in replacing my front brakes. He told me my heat shields were loose and causing the rattling and he would try to keep them from rubbing by putting cardboard in between. I asked about tire rotation since my wheels were already off and he said he would do it for free. I appreciated that both he and Chris told me I could go online and order front struts much cheaper than they could get them through Napa.Although it took a bit longer than anticipated (over four hours), I felt it was worth it for the service aspect. I know more than several good auto shops in town, however, some dont have Saturday hours or are further than I cared to drive. I visited Precision Tune based solely on their many excellent reviews on Google.

I appreciate the honesty, knowledge, and work at this place. A different shop down the street told me I needed new brake drums and shoes after a vehicle quality check, and gave me an extremely high repair cost estimate. I called Precision Tune. Turns out, my brakes were fine and it was another problem entirely. They saved me several hundred dollars, and have earned a returning customer.

Great auto service AND customer service! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. They dont take appointments, so get there early! I got there a few minutes before they opened and there was already a line - I can see why, because they do a great job! So friendly.

Had car issues and took it to pep boys down the road to diagnose the issue. After waiting 4 days to get around to fixing my car it still had the same exact issue afterwards. Took it here afterwards after reading positive reviews on online forums and sure enough this place is legit. They were polite and despite being really busy and closing within an hour they performed an engine check. They diagnosed the issue on the spot and fixed it within 5 minutes. The mechanic even took the time to explain what exactly happened and how to prevent it from happening in the future. Very honest folks working there. Didn’t even charge me for it bc it was a simple fix. They now have a customer for life.

The guys at Precision are first rate. I had a little trouble getting the work done as they are understaffed right now. I have time to wait fortunately. Chris, the manager has amazing people skills. Just a nice guy. You dont often find that in a mechanic. They did the work (shocks and struts) and my truck rides better than ever. Their price was less than any competitor I checked. Ive enjoyed good service at this location for two years. Unfortunately today we part ways. I scheduled an appointment on their website for today and called off of work. I show up and not only am I told they cant work on my car today but also that they dont take appointments. If you dont take appointments then dont have an appointment option on your website!

I cant recommend this store enough. For my five years in Nashville, it is my go-to store. The most impressive fact is the mechanics there only recommend the service you need, so its never over charged. But since there is always a lot of costumers waiting, your waiting time could be much longer than other stores.

The best service and most knowledgable staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

My ABS light came on after sliding through the snow around a corner and Chris and Donny (after busting my chops haha) were super helpful and had everything fixed in an hour. Donny even showed me where the ABS sensor cable had broken after rubbing against my tire. He even aired up all four corners. Highly recommend these guys! Inexpensive and very quick, knowledgeable and helpful. 5 stars (except Donny, he only gets 2 for his jokes)

Me and my girlfriend brought her car here on Friday feb 28 2001 Ford Escape to see why the check engine light was on and also get the axle fixed. They kept telling us they would get to it tommorow well tommorow came and it was always a different story we finally were told it need a tune for the engine light to go off she paid 3 hundred dollars for a tune up which was a 2 to 3 hour job supposedly we are just getting it back Tuesday march 3rd and the engine light is still on the only thing fixed was the axle idk what’s going on but they always did good work on mine the reason I told her to carry her car here but it was an awe full experience !!!!!!!! Never again!

Chris was very helpful when it came to me needing help last minute with my vehicle! He is very knowledable and even though I clearly don’t know much about cars, he still took the time to explain everything in detail and even spoke to my father across the country so he knew what was going on as well. We will definitely be loyal customers at this location from here on out!

Was in town for wedding and a grinding noise started in my car. Feared serious transmission issue and dont know much about cars so they could have told me anything. Chris and his crew had it ready in 15 minutes and it turned out to be just a loose heat shield. Super relieved we were able to find him and get in and enjoy our Nashville weekend!

Well that was the best auto repair experience Ive ever had, thank you Chris and crew for your friendly, quick and honest service. We needed our trucks ABS repaired in time to work after the weekend, they took our truck in right before closing on Friday, had a estimate for me early Saturday and we swung by and got it early Monday, smooth sailing, the way it should be.
