Luckily I only needed a jump, but I wasnt sure why my car wouldnt start. Turns out the auto-shutoff stopped working on my lights and they drained my battery. He came by only 30 min after I called and easily got it sorted.Was super friendly and helpful and will be first one I call if anything happens again!

Had my water pump replaced and the experience was absolutely five star! He was professional, knowledgeable, timely, less expensive than just taking it to the shop, and all around a fantastic repair experience!

Honest and helpful. When I called and described my cars symptoms he listened to the engine sound by having me put the phone to the engine compartment and told me it would be a waste of the $75 fee for him just coming out and that Id need an in-depth mechanic with the full set up only a brick & mortar place had.

Just checking for a mechanic to come to house, but didnt have to call one. Good to know this one will come to you to repair your car or truck and has good reviews. Didnt know there were people who still did house calls.

John is an excellent mechanic. I have a car the has mysterious electrical issues that prevents my computer from connecting to power which prevents it from starting. I have replaced a long list of parts as per the scanning tool but nothing helped. John did a great deal of research before showing up. John committed 11 hours looking into the issue once he arrived. John is the third person to attempt the issue. He had success getting it running and it ran great., which I have tried to do for 3 months and hundreds of hours of frustration However we could not get it to restart again. He went home and researched more and returned with new tricks. We were still unsuccessful, but not from a lack of trying. He left yesterday scratching his head and went home to do more research.This is a very difficult issue to pin down and is commonly intermittent in Saturns. I really appreciate his time and dedication to helping me get this on the road no other mobile mechanic would take on this job. They want simple installations that net them a greater profit. He has taken this issue on as a personal challenge, and he loves a challenge. John is knowledgeable, dedicated to customer satisfaction, and reasonably priced. I live in Atlanta. My kid is in school in Nashville. My son called on a Sunday afternoon saying his car wouldn’t start. I called Roberts thinking I was going to get voicemail on a Sunday. They answered the phone on a Sunday night after the titans game. I can’t promise they answer all Sunday’s but they did when we called. He said they were busy for Monday but moved things around and was at my sons place FIRST thing in the morning! an hour later he texted he was complete...it’s hard to find honest and quick in big cities these days. Price was More Than FAIR!!! Highly recommended!!

Robert was supposed to fix my car Saturday but was able to come Friday which workout great for both of us.Robert cane to my house and changed my control arms, ball joints, and stabilizer on my 2003 Honda Civic. He brought all the necessary tools and some and use quality grease in my car parts.Robert did a fantastic job and now my car drives better then ever.I made sure he had plenty of water because it was hot that mid morning.Highly recommended I will be using him in the future for more work if needed.

John met me first thing in the morning, in a parking lot in downtown Nashville where my alternator had gone out. He was quick, honest and very professional. I also had a fuse that blew when the alternator went out and John called around looking for the fuse and had to drive to a Honda dealership to get the correct one. He stayed with me to make sure I didn’t have any issues with the security codes on my radio and rear entertainment system. He literally went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me back on the road to our family vacation in Gatlinburg. John charged exactly what he quoted in the beginning. He was great about communicating and keeping me updated. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. I was back on the road in less than 2 hrs! Unbelievable service! My kids were stranded on the highway 7 hours from the house and Robert came to their aid late in the afternoon so that they could get back on the road. Mr. Roberts showed up, had the dead alternator removed within the hour, gave me a lift to Autozone to purchase the replacement, and had the new alternator in place within fifteen minutes.Extremely friendly, extremely understanding, extremely professional.

I found my go-to mechanic in Nashville! My car died on me & I didnt have a lot of money to get it fixed, much less have it towed to a shop. John was able to come to me, diagnose the problem, drive me to the parts store to pick up the part he needed, & get it fixed within an hour! I am a new resident to Music City and I have found a few things hard to find. 1. is a new Barbershop and 2. is a good mechanic. We found Roberts and couldnt be happier with the service. My wifes Hyundai needed a heater blend door control. The first shop we took it to said they needed diagnostic because it was likely an electrical problem. 99% of the time this is a control issue not electric. I bit my tongue and left. Roberts called when they said they would, they arrived when they said they would, they did clean work and double checked before they left. The price was RIGHT!!!! They charged me well below what I had expected and not much more than the diagnostic recommendation at the National Chain. Did I mention that they also performed a front brake job while they were there??? You get the parts and Roberts is your new mechanic...just like they have become mine. I hope I dont see them often...but if I do I feel confident.

We had an issues with the alternator and timing belt. Estimate from Volvo of Nashville was about $2500. John was able to do it for a little under $900. Plus, he comes to your house to do it.........whats better than that??Excellent work - would definitely use him again. Just a note on payment - he charges extra for credit card payments (for the fees he incurs). So if you want to save some money, be sure to have cash.

I called John on a Sunday evening to come out that Tuesday to replace some belts and brake rotors with parts I already had. I ended up paying $150, which was very fair for the two hours of labor (other shops quote well over $400, including parts).While he was there, John also looked at a check engine light for me to see if he could fix what appeared to be minor electrical problems. He did not have the right tools for this particular job but he did not charge me for the time he spent looking into the issue and he referred me to a good shop.I certainly recommend John and his service.

My fuel pump went out in my 1996 Ford Explorer, and it would not start and was stranded at my apartment building. I didnt want to tow it to the Ford dealer just to get ripped off with a $1000 repair, so I Googled Mobile Mechanics and Roberts Mobile Mechanics came up on the search and had a very high rating. I called John, and he gave me an estimate that I thought was very fair. We scheduled an appointment to complete the repairs, and John showed up at my apartment on time, which I thought was a great start to the repair process, since my time is very valuable. He thoroughly tested the fuel pump after he removed it to confirm that was indeed the issue with my truck. He was very fast with the removal and replacement of the fuel pump while simultaneously performing top-notch work. Since I only bought the fuel pump itself, instead of the complete assembly, John spliced my wires (in a professional manner with the appropriate parts) since the previous wires on my old pump were frayed badly. Afterwards, he tested the pump before he installed it into the gas tank to ensure the proper continuity and connectivity of the newly spliced wires and to make sure it worked properly, as well. In my opinion, the repair from start to finish, was very professionally completed and within the time John quoted me. If I happen to need a mechanic service in the future, I will definitely call John again.

Let me say I went to Firestone 7/14 and was not satisfied with their service, googled mechanics in Nashville, he was the top rated. The fact that he came to you made it better for me. Great guy, great mechanic, after he changed my water pump and thermostat, we noticed I was missing a compressor belt, mind you its 100 degrees outside so my A/C hasnt been working, he followed me to the nearest auto store and replaced it there. Hes a A1 mechanic, Im not using anyone else!!!

I just hired Roberts Mobile Mechanics to replace my rear rotors and rear brakes for my truck. he was able to come to my home the very next day and complete the job. After removing tires and rotors, he noticed that i had purchased the wrong brake pads from auto zone. he was nice to drive me to auto zone and return the brake pads, then drove me down the street to ORielys to get the correct ones. after the work was completed, Robert didnt even change his price, even though he had to drive me to get the correct parts. So nice to find a great mechanic, but an even better business man! he will for sure get more of my business and referrals!

My wifes car didnt start and it was stranded at our Church in Antioch. I googled Moble Mechanic and found Roberts Mobile Mechanic I thought the problem was the battery but wasnt sure. John came tested the battery and discovered my issue was the Alternator he removed all the housing and equipment surrounding (which was a lot) the Alternator before I could go to auto repair store to pick up the replacement. When I returned about 10 min later he had everything remove and was ready for the replacement part to installed. Repaired my car very fast I was very satisfied he charged a very fair fee. I highly recommend Robert Mobile Mechanic and will use again!!

From the moment I reached out to L & S to the moment I got my car back Gary was absolutely accommodating. I did not have to lift a finger they even took me to the airport because they were working on my car. The only thing I could say that I didnt care for was getting a call that there was an additional $400 repair needing to be done. I was out of town therefore there was no way for me to see exactly what the additional repair was. When I said I did not want the additional repair Gary was not pushy at all he completely understood and I appreciated that Also, In their defense I believe the car I was sold was a lemon so the repair probably was necessary I just wasnt comfortable agreeing with that much more of a repair without seeing it for my own eyes. I will update the review after testing out and seeing how the repair came out. As far as customer service and taking care 100% of their customer. I would absolutely feel comfortable recommend L & S to all my friends and family.

After 4 re-schedules from a competitor mobile mechanic. I gave up and gave Roberts a call. John did my repair 3 days sooner than my new re-schedule from the competitor on a chilly damp morning, made no excuses for the weather just got the job done, thats how you do business! Thank you John!

I was looking for a mechanic online and came across Roberts Mobile Mechanic. I am glad I did. He was on time, very friendly and fixed the problem in the time he said he would. I would highly recommend and even though I hope I dont have anymore problems with my car but if I do I wont hesitate to call him.

I was excited because I was told by John that he would be able to take care of my vehicle on Sunday. Being a single mom who depends on her vehicle to get to work and her daughter to daycare not having to miss a day of work was really a good thing. I was called on Sunday afternoon and told it was too hot and he was taking the rest of the day off he just couldnt do it. Now I know at current I live a distance from Nashville but cmon! That is the height of unprofessionalism in my book. So now I am stranded and having to find another mechanic! I hope he enjoys his day at the pool or wherever. Obviously, hes in the wrong profession if he cant stand the heat!

Lol people kill me you seem to be doing a good job mobile service is no cake walk but you have guinuine good rating And for the folks that feel like they got jipped mobile mech. Is like having a concierge doctor they know what there doing and can do it with minimal equipment and its worth the extra change. You dont question your doctor if your body is different and it can be many things cars are the same if you have a mech telling you i know it all your at the wrong place and if you need some help email me im good at what i do for the most part i know its not easy keeping up without killing yourself. Id give a ZERO RATING if I could. Do not trust this rinky dink service. I thought this guy had diagnostics tools and everything, and he has nothing. I needed my car fixed, too much to tow right now, thought Roberts Mobile Mechanics would be great....WRONG. He never even got back to me, I needed to contact him. He came out, got my keys, cranked the car, it wouldnt start, popped the hood, fiddled around, left for 10 min., came back with an explanation on why it didnt work, says it said so in the car manual, said this was a hard job, takes probably 2 days and you have to get under the engine and sorts, Sounds like the timing chain is messed up, or the crank shaft possibly, he couldnt give an explanition for anything, then that was it, went back to his car to write me up a reciept, charged me $75.00 for NOTHING, decided to try and start the car again, the battery was dying because he was cranking it too much, so he hooked his car to my car with jumper cables, then checked the pressure, mind you with no therometer at all, then insisted on it what it was again....he had no diagnostic computer or anything, you know the computers REAL mechanics use. You can even go over to Advanced Autoparts and theyd hook their computer up to your vehicle to give you a solution. This Roberts Mechanic is a piece of crap. Do NOT use him. You better be sure he had a computer and credit card scanner to take your money and sorts, but he wasnt equipped with any other IMPORTANT tools. Ill never recommend him ever! $75.00 for NOTHING. Decided for kicks and grins to call the local Ford dealer in service and parts, they said it couldnt be the timing chain because it didnt make the sound me said it made when it tried to start. Ford dealer would have charged $85.00, and they would have known what was wrong with my Ford, instead I called this low budget piece of crap Mobile Services for nothing.
