Excellent customer service from Nathan (I hope this was his name) in electronics. I purchased a pair of AirPods. He was very friendly and helpful, as were the two others, a young female and male. (Sorry I didn’t get their names). My husband and I also purchased a refrigerator, stove and microwave and did not have the same experience. We had been in the store 2 other times and was helped by Vanessa who was also very nice and patient. She was off today, 10/29/21, so we were helped by Michelle. We already knew what we were going to buy so we had very few questions. Michelle seemed rushed and borderline annoyed. Michelle was the exception today, everyone else was super friendly.

I am a Best Buy Elite member and I buy most of my stuff from Best Buy. I have a great experience with Best Buy.On 10/19/2021 at 3:30 PM I visited Best Buy Montclair store to buy few items. On previous week I bought a Garmin GPS for $350 and was looking for a mount. I saw a mount for $19 and just opened the box to check whether it will work with the GPS I bought from Best Buy.The white lady who was at that time working in that section immediately called the security when she saw I opened the box. She was very rude to me and I have never seen an associate calls the security for opening a box. She could have just told me not to open the box.I was trying to get her name but she was not wearing the name tag or covered it with a jacket. Associates like them is a big reason people leave loyal companies and go somewhere else. I am very upset with this experience.

I called the store to get a price for transferring data from a hard drive to a thumb drive they qoted me 69.99. When I got to the store I was told that its actually 99.99 to do this service to which I explained what had happened and the price I was given and they said that they couldnt do anything about it and yeah that the call center had been giving out bad information. I said well it wasnt my fault and asked for a manager. The manager told me the same and also added that he wasnt on the phone call and could not verify the price I was given. So I was also a liar. I have been a loyal customer for 21 years buying all of my computers and laptops from them and the one time I go in for their service, this is how I am treated, like nothing and a liar. Their customer service is dismal, their employees dont know what they are doing, and the manager doesnt care. I will never go to Best Buy again and will tell all I know not to buy from them as they are a horrible company at best.

The mgt team as well as some of its employees need serious customer service training. Made 3 purchases laptop not in stock. Refrigerator ear buds that wouldnt connect. On return of fridge ask for help to get buds to connect to phone. Sent to phone dept guy couldnt help, so I asked for the mgr ( Malachi) attempted to help but then called associate who after seeing screen said not to set up in store decided to return then mgr made a comment as I walked away. Never returning

The lady that helped us pick a laptop was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I had an idea of what I was looking for and she was able to give me laptop suggestions for every brand. I walked out with a Dell laptop that had all the specs I was looking at the budget I had in mind. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could give her a shout out.

Came in to get a radio installed in my car. My car worked perfectly fine before I brought it in. And while they were putting in the radio, they did something to my engine and now I cannot start my car. They proceeded to say it was my fault and they can do one of two things. Have the local PD impound the car or take it myself and have to pay for everything out of pocket. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANYTHING. THEY WILL BREAK IT AND SAY ITS YOUR FAULT.

When there are so many great products to choose from it is hard to make a decision. The young man in the small appliance department was more than happy to help me decide on what blender to buy. Was trying to decide between surface pro x and pro 7 (as well as other non-microsoft devices) and computer staff was helpful in reviewing differences. One problem though is the lack of product availability, but that is consistent across the board.

I was at best buy yesterday looking for a specific item with my boyfriend. A woman came up and said if we needed help. I said no then quickly said yes lol my bad honestly. She didnt trip and helped us out. She was so patient like you dont even know. She wasnt rushing us so we can get out by closing time. She walked us through and found our items. She scanned barcodes and SKUs to find it. Gave suggestions so we took it to heart and went with dyson wifi cooler. She then rang us up and helped us out. Was very informative and cool as hell. This woman needs a promotion as a lead or supervisor please do. Her name is Anisha had to have her write it on my receipt lol. Unique name too. Anyone need help, guidance, advice, fast service, information etc. this is your girl. Easy to talk to and get along with like she was your friend.

I went to the store to buy a gimbal that I needed for an 18 day work trip that I was going on in 2 days. I looked around for one. I asked the customer service rep and one helped me look too bc their comp said the store had one. Neither of us could find a gimbal. I wanted to go to another Best Buy nearby to get the gimbal but the Best Buy rep convinced me to order it through him and promised it would be delivered in 24 hours before my trip. Well it was not. I called the customer service phone number the day I was leaving to say it hadn’t arrived on time so I’d have to get one while on my work trip and return this other one when I got home. Well of course, the return policy is only 15 days so after some back and forth the customer service phone rep said they’d add some info to my “file” to notify that I couldn’t complete the return on time but would do it after 18 days. Flash forward to present day when I am back in town and apparently I can’t return it over the phone. The rep said there’s nothing in my “file” that would let her allow me to return the item late. She said I might be able to return the item by calling the store (I live over 1.5 hrs away so I don’t want to drive). I called the store and the automated voice message said the line was no longer taking calls and redirected me to the main customer service line that didn’t seem able to help me at all. Anyway Best Buy please tell your reps that the 24 hours shipping isn’t guaranteed so that this doesn’t happen again. Please also take my return by mail.

I bought a laptop there and the guy was great. The workers are knowledgeable and friendly but they only have one per section so you have to wait your turn. I dont like the fact that if you dont know what you want and have to look around, that you have go up and sign in to get a place in line for an employee to help you. If they dont do that in Walmart or Costco why do it at Best Buy? I hope it now that things are opening up we go back to normal because I like Best Buy..

Friendly helpful staff. They greet you at the door and if youre interested, will set you up with/put you on a list for the next available technical helper in whatever department you are interested in.....that was pretty cool. Was pretty busy, but our tech met with us less than 5 mins after we walked in, which was great!! He took care of our questions, didnt try to talk us into anything we didnt need......Great experience overall!! Will definitely be back!!

Place needs workers inside absolutely no help in store! However the help we did find was the kid who brought out our items after we finally figured out that you have to order online then wait in parking space to get your stuff its sad . The employee that brought the items was very helpful and for him I would give the store 5 stars but he probably wont get credit so I gave him a nice tip .I hope it help pick his spirit up because I could tell he was doing his best and I clearly saw the store was not managed correctly just not enough employees and the ones there were overloaded. So kudos to the young man that helped us And hopefully the store gets more help.

Commenting on Automotive Audio installation services. Cant say enough about them. Friendly, professional and will work with your schedule. I took my sons car in to install a dash cam and rear camera that I bought elsewhere, cost about120 which is not bad at all. Tried to get appt on web but they were booking 3 weeks out, called the store and Mgr said if I was willing to drop the car for a day they would get it worked in.. Great service

Had a very unsatisfactory experience in my last 2 visits. The returns dept lady gave me a hard time when I was trying to make an exchange and it was because of a mistake Best Buy made. Customer service here is inconsistent and you really dont know what you will get when you walk in. Go to Target or Walmart or even another Best Buy instead

I have to come out of review retirement due to the panademic, but this review has to be said, my husband and I visited this best buy hoping to buy the new Samsung Chromebook no one would help us and when forced to he was rude and very short with us no help at all we were there 45 minutes before we ended up deciding to go elsewhere. With $1,000 to spend it was an old case of you shouldnt judge a book by its cover.

Nothing but great experiences so far here. I have been going here for years and they have always pulled through any time I needed anything. No other best buy comes close to this one. However it recently made some changes and it almost seems like they have a smaller selection of movies now. Other than that it remains my go to for just about any electronics or video games I need.

Honestly, they are very nice people but they havent adapted to COVID very well. Their curbside pickup is completely FAIL. Ive gone twice to pick up my online order. The first time I had to wait more than 45 min. The second time I had to walk in when I was unable to check in & waited 42 min while they searched their very unorganized system of sorting orders to find where they had placed mine. Nice doesnt make up for lost time. Sorry, Best Buy. You definitely are NOT my first choice any more.

It looks really nice and spaceful in Best buy they have a lot of good tvs, phones, and computers definitely a place that should be checked out for really nice things that have to do with electronics also they have good earphones and headsets and other things that are worth checking out. The employees there were pretty nice and helpful to customers but it might not be that way all the time but most times there will probably be good customer service. It was nice there definitely worth taking a look in there.

1in to buy a couple of items new phones no one to help us there then why were the TVs and they were great little overpriced. Then went to stoves cuz we need a new stove. But the fine print like ever place in the store you have to put on your reading glasses or magnifying glass to read the fine print the final if the price is and if you were looking at the right item for that price terrible display Health advertising for the product I ended up leaving cuz I got tired of trying to figure out if I was looking at the right price for the right item. Talk to the manager. They were like yeah okay I said I wont be back until you change the pricing so I can read it without straining to figure out what Im looking at. But then I went to another store Midway and they were just as bad and higher prices? Oh well I guess Ill look on Craigslist for a stove
