I give 5 stars to the Mechanic he did a great job tuning my Giant Trance 3. Complete overhaul he even went above and beyond from what he had to do.Dropper post fixed.Replace my my old tires with new Maxxis Minions that, I provided.Fixed the wobble that my back tire had which Cycle World couldnt fixThe only Con that I can express is pricing the new owner need to be clear and transparent.Other than that I can say the Mechanic did a great job!

I have been going to Bike Masters for repairs for many years. I have always left satisfied with the service provided. The current mechanic (Arturo) is highly knowledgeable and honest. I trust his expertise and recommendations.

The new owner(s) is a liar that will tell you one price and charge you a completely different price. He told me a turn up and new inner tubs would be $95+tax the total came out to $115+tax. Buyers beware owner will lie and up-charge you. I’ll be doing my bike services elsewhere, I suggest you do the same.

Great place. Maybe a bit pricey for repairs.$80 to fix 4 flats. The repairs took about 30 minutes. During which time they adjusted my handlebars at no extra charge.I did notice that the owner advised one customer looking to service his bike that it wasnt in the customers best interest to spend more money on that bike. The owner said he would be better served purchasing a new bike even if it was an inexpensive one from Wal-Mart. Im paraphrasing the conversation but it was clear that his heart is in the right place and he is not going to take advantage of people who maybe dont know any better.This is a business that I will be happy to support in the future.

9/17/2020 This shop professes to be opened until 6 pm on weekdays. I passed by at 5:15 pm as a first time customer, for a tire change. The person that greeted me at the door was very annoyed at the fact that I showed up at this time. I asked if the hours had changed ( maybe due to COVID) but the person stated they are still open until 6 pm. He then proceeded to tell me that he could not understand why everyone shows up after 5. In awe at such a response, I annoyingly stated because some of us work and need to come by after 5!. I was then told that all repairs cease at 4:45 pm. Mind you, nowhere on the sign nor on the website is there a statement that repair hours differ from store hours. I politely told the attendant I would return on Saturday. I checked my google app and I found a much friendlier and service oriented shop on Bird Road. I arrived at 5:40 pm (they close at 7 pm), was greatly by a friendly and eager attendant and my tires were changed within 20 minutes while I waited. As I was leaving at about 6 pm there were others arriving and no one was being turned away because it was the eleventh hour. Bike Master gets a BIG thumbs down for poor attitude and they should take their cues from the other shop I went to.

I just rode home on a beautiful bike.Like many of us, were affected by COVID and may not see the inside of a gym for a while. I went to this bike shop and many others, I tried offer up and found that it was too much of a gamble. Other bike shops ask you for size and just roll out whatever bike fits your budget and height, which is perfectly fine. However, I needed a little more help and my budget was low, really low. Some bike shops were asking $700-$800 for a road bike, cheapest they had. Not only did this little shop have variety in bikes and pricing, they made it so that only 2 people are in at a time and there was comfort. I was able to compare two bikes within my budget and ride home on the bike of my dreams.Thank you so much!

I walked into the store hoping to change my tires, as they were run down and without tread. Upon entering I spoke with the owner, advising him of my need for new tires, and I proceeded to inquire about the cost, of which he told me there was a range, and literally walked away from me without an answer. The gentleman that was working on my bike (the employee) proceeded to grab the tire I needed and told me it was 20$ per tire. Seemed pretty fair to me, however when I was waiting for the bike to be fixed the owner came back and told me he’s like to “ring me up”. When I went to pay of course the total was 85$. He proceeded to tell me that he I had to pay for other things, such as inner tubes and labor. I expressed to him that I was upset, as I was expecting something about half the price, which is why I asked and he told me I “should have known better, and let this be a lesson for the future that it’s not just a tire to be changed”. Way to take advantage of the unsuspecting customer, trust me I learned I’ll never go back to that shop ever again. Horrible customer service directly from the owner himself.

I came here off a recommendation and it was by far the best recommendation I’ve been given. The staff was very helpful with the questions I had and they gave me a lot of info. I ended up leaving with a great deal and a bike 10x better than I originally had. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommend!

Beware and be sure the service you think you’re getting, gets done. Took my bike to get serviced for routine maintenance, when i got the bike back it felt the same.My reason for taking it in was while pedaling the bike would have little skips when pedaling ... When I picked the bike and tried it, it still had the same feel, so money not well spent not even told if their was anything wrong with it. meaning nothing was ever done. I did my own research and being somewhat handy I managed to correct the issue, the Derailleur needed minor adjustments.Hence which is primarily the reason for a bike tune-up. They didn’t even explain what was done to it, just that it’s ready to go. Money wasted for me. My thoughts were spend a little and have a professional do it. WOW! Was I wrong.

Worst service anywhere! I called ahead to inquire about parts for a project bike I am working on and was told they had the parts but when I arrived at the store I spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge that I was there (the door was closed). After the customers inside left I was not allowed inside (there was only one other person inside) or even asked what I needed. I guess this people have too many customers and dont need my business. So I drove to another store in Bird rd. and spent my money there because they treated me with respect.

Dont call and ask if a service is available as simple as a tire replacement the guy that answers is hostile. He gets upset when youre hard of hearing and he has to repeat himself.

The owner wants to be nice but he really isnt. He talks about other bike business owners and thats not correct. I dont think its the best place to spend my money. I already spent it once and would not do it again. The technician (Arturo) treated me very well. He does have acknowledge. The owner is believed to know a lot but not. He is unpleasant. He has a better price because it sells lower quality bikes. The owner is arrogant and rude, he does not have good customer service. I do not recommend this store. It is your decision.

Went to Bike Masters today to look for a bike, nothing in mind or in particular. The employee, did not get his name.. he was wearing a yellow shirt and a baseball cap, stands at the the door, blocking the entrance way with his arms stretched towards the door frame and just looks at me. Since he was not going to even say good afternoon, I tell him that I just wanted to see what he has in stock. He asks me if I was looking for anything specific and I tell him that I am not. Since he continued blocking the entrance, I got a bit aggravated and asked him if it is not allowed to look around without a specific bike in mind and he told me in a very rude way, you can look around but I like to ask. He continued blocking the entrance and I just left. I have not felt so humiliated with his attitude and the way he blocked the entrance. It frankly is unacceptable for a business to treat potential customers this way. I suggest not going to this store and conduct your business elsewhere. The last thing we need to deal with, with all that is going on is rude and lack of customer service.

My son called they stated they had the se ripper in stock by the time we arrived which was in about 10 minutes he claimed he didn’t have any the the old guy was very rude and disgusting. I’m supporting any local business that have jerks owning it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE FIRST AND LAST TIME.

The owner of this store is definitely the rudest person I have ever met, he was only nice and pleasant when he was selling you a bicycle which was the first time I went into the store. I went in to ask a couple of questions about my bicycle and he was basically kicking me out of the store when I went to take my bicycle in when the back tire was low in air. He only saw me through the back of the store and then would tell me to come back whenever it wasnt convenient for him. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ever since they got new owners, they service has gone down. I went to get a service for my bicycle after I called them about it. When I got to the store, they made me wait outside in the sun for more than 15 minutes. I found that disrespectful and I will be taking my money somewhere else. I will never be returning nor recommending this store to anyone else.

Came in today around 2:45 and I was greeted with a very rude old man. Not sure who he was but he didn’t even say hi nor was polite with asking me for assistance. Nonetheless, I let that slide and tell him I need a new chain. He takes my bike in telling me gonna be $19.99 for the chain plus $10 for install..ok cool. I get my bike back and immediately notice it’s not a new chain and it’s the same chain I had before. The bike shop guy told me “he doesn’t do his customers dirty like that” I pointed out the part I know they changed and all the dirt on a “new” chain.Horrible customer service, won’t be back here because of this liar.

This was a terrible experience. The owner was incredibly dishonest, rude and unreasonable. I wish that you could see the manner in which this man conducted himself. It would make for good reality television. It took every ounce of patience and diplomacy that I had in me to not make the situation worse. Please note that other staff members that I met were polite. I am strictly talking about the owner. I am all for supporting local businesses but I will never do business with this place again.

Amazing experience! We had an issue with our bike that was actually repaired in about 30. While waiting the owner introduced himself, was very friendly, and honest about what we needed and what we didnt. He runs the store with that great old school mentality of actually coming out and creating relationships with clients, not just sales. We will be back again. Thank you!!

Had been riding my bike with no problems, until chain broke, took it for replacement and decided to have it’s tuned.It was promised for the next day, that day in the morning I was told that it should be ready by 4 pm. When that time came I was told that they had to order a bearing which was broken and that my bike won’t be ready until the following week. (I believe he was lying due to the high volume of customers that were on cue) Saturday morning I was called and told that the bike was ready, there I was told that they had put air in my rear shock, I didn’t pay much interest to the subject. Monday came and I went out for a ride an when I was going to lock my shock to stop the bouncing the lever wasn’t working and oils was dripping. Took it back then I was told that they hadn’t even touched that area and that they were unable to check that. I don’t know what to think but I was not happy and now I have to figure out what to do.Read reviews before anything

Stopped by there today with a flat tire. They diagnosed the cause and promptly replaced the rim liner, which they showed me had worn through (the cause of the tube puncture) and the tube. Then checked the brakes and lubed the chain all for a very reasonable price. I will return there with confidence! I have given it 5 stars; shows only 3, and I cant change it. Definitely deserves FIVE!

Had problems with my road bike and they fixed it while I waited. The bike tech new exactly what was wrong, they did a great job!!

Today my boyfriend went to Bike Masters to look for a bike and received horrible customer service. Not only did the person blocked him from getting in (granted the store policy was 2 ppl at at time), the employee who questioned him on why he was there and then told him the bikes are all $3k plus and telling him they don’t sell the bike he was looking for, so continuing to question him on why he still wanted to look around before allowing him to wait outside to look around...he just left after.

Every now and then there is a business that makes you believe that true quality customer service still exist! Bike Masters has proved that to me every time I have come to this establishment. The men that work there are true and honest gentlemen (Thank you Rafa!) and never try to up-sell you. Their prices are reasonable and their service department is quick and reliable. Today I went to change my bike brakes, upon arriving they took my bike in immediately. I expressed additional concerns about the conditions of my tires and instead of trying to take advantage of me and saying I needed tires they inspected my tires closely and told me I still had some use left on them. I was blown away by their honesty. This wasnt the first time I had such a positive experience here. They have made loyal customers with my family and I for life! I recommend this bike store to everyone I know!

Went to a different shop who wanted to charge me for a repair when the bike masters gave it a simple fix for no charge. Great people who know what they’re doing. Highly recommended

I called before going and whoever answered was very friendly and nice. When I got there I was treated in the same fashion. My bike had two flat tires and my kickstand was loose and a little bit crooked. My flat tires were fixed and my kickstand was fixed in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

Came in to get my bike fixed, after talking to the staff, I was encouraged to get a new bike, owner comes out, and pretty much tells me he doesnt need my money, because he didn’t agree with my budget, ($400) and that he sells to whom ever he wants to. shortly after I just got ignored, horrible experience, I would have purchased a new bike if was treated better, Instead I walked out disappointed. The prices marked on the bikes are the same as online but they gave me $125 off of a $700 bike and they are very friendly and knowledgeable and they assemble the bikes themselves with quality. Every gear shifts perfectly and my brake pads dont scrape the rim and the quick release front wheel works without deflating the tire. The have tons of accessories that they will put on for you too. Love this place! :)

Called to purchase a MTB bottom bracket. It seems they don’t know their inventory, I was told to visit the store and find it myself. Poor customer service.

I walked in there thinking I needed bearings for my mountain bike. They could have easily sold me bearings, but instead they looked at the tire for FREE and told me it was perfect they wouldnt change a thing. Walked out of there without spending a dime. Thanks to the techs in back.

Today was my first time visiting the store. I am not a biker, I dont think Ive ridden a bike since I was a child. Lol. This being said, I called because I had an issue with a toddler bike. He very nicely encouraged me to come in, I arrived in 5 minutes. The employees (or owners?) were so amazing and attentive. They were busy and treated me like I mattered, even though I brought in a toddler bike. Lol. They were also helping out another teenage customer with her skates!!! Everyone seemed knowledgeable. The associate fixed my issue in about 2 minutes, literally, and also filled the tires with air. Im so dumb about bikes, its something I could have fixed at home. However, Im saying all this because he could have lied seeing how little I knew, and taken advantage of me and sold me on any story. He fixed the issues and he didnt want to accept payment. I insisted, and he wouldnt take it, so I stuffed the money in his tip jar and told him to buy himself breakfast in the morning next door. Lol. I wish more businesses would practice like this. Honest. I called around 1pm, the owner answered and told me to bring the bike, I went at 1:30pm, he said, he is behind and to come back at 2:30pm, I came back at 2:30pm and he told me nope, he cant take my bike because he is behind, your customer service and attitude sucks, I will never come back to your place, my time is as precious as yours. I wouldnt recommend going here Ive been coming here for over a year and half and Ive come to the conclusion these people are crooks. They sell cheap products so it breaks and you come back to them, my inner tube has broken so many time that Ive humbly come back to them and at times the same day. Yet even with new tires changes I didnt use my bike for 3 days and guess what the inner tube is broken 3rd time this week. Trust me guys dont fall for these people go elsewhere even if its a bit far you would save your money

I got my first little repair for free because it was just a lose bolt, I appreciate that he didnt take advantage of my ignorance. When I busted my bike, it only cost me 23$, and they let me know how long it was going to take, test ride it and all. Told me if there was anything wrong, bring it on back. They all seem like honest good hearted people. Good prices, good service. If I ever experience different with them, Ill update but as of now they have my business.I understand the first reviews frustration. I get frustrated like that everywhere in Miami lol EVERYONE assumes you speak Spanish here. So its not them, its 70% of South Floridas population I think.

Very friendly bike shop I visited in long time. When I walked to the store every one greeted me like they know me for years, Rapha the technician charged me less than estimated. From now on this will be my store where I shop for bike and accessory.

The shop had a decent selection of bicycles. I was looking for a road bike and they had countless. The problem was their customer service. While somewhat helpful, it was a very high pressure hurry up and pick a bike kind of feel. I asked to try one of the bikes and they did not fill the tires (which were underinflated), did not try to fit it to me at all, not even a seat adjustment, and the absolute worst part was the pathetic test ride.I figured they would let me go around for awhile, instead they took the bike to the back alley and let me go about 4 miles per hour up and down the alley once... For anyone of you new the bike shops, while this is not uncommon, there are plenty of great shops that will let you test ride for 20+ minutes around the neighborhood. I felt that was equivalent to going to a car dealership and them letting you pull out of a parking spot and then repark immediately and call it a test ride.I was interesting in bikes in the $600-$800 range also so I do not understand the treatment, there is no way I am going to spend $800 on a bicycle and not test it out for a few minutes at normal speeds/conditions.Overall the staff was friendly enough other than me feeling like I was wasting their precious time eventhough I was the only person in the store. So, for anyone who knows exactly what they want or just going for parts, they seem good enough, but I hate being rushed when shopping, especially in a struggling business like bike shops where you can get the same bike for 2/3 the price online, the only thing a bike shop can offer is excellent customer service and knowledge which they did not.

Worst place ever arrogant people very unprofessional took my bikes for break adjustments called them before to ask for the price when I got there they double the amount given over the phone left the bikes anyway they took it upon themselves after I dropped the bikes to break the bikes apart according to them and wanted to charge me for assembling all three bikes plus the breaks took my bikes to a bike shop around my house and they charge me 50% less than what they were charging for break adjustments DONT GO THERE
