I feel very fortunate to have found this bike shop. After a negative experience at another bike shop in the Grove, I was very discouraged about finding my local bike shop to call home. Robert is a skilled technician and is very fair. Those of you who ride bike on a regular basis know the importance of having a good relationship with a local bike shop. I cannot say enough great things about Robert and Cycling 101. His prices are fair and the work that he does is excellent and timely. If you need work done on your bikes look no further! There are other bike shops in the area but they are way more expensive and the service is way less personal. I couldnt recommend this shop enough.

I was referred to cycling 101 by a friend of mine. My bikes were picked up the same day I called. I explained what I needed and my bikes were ready two days after which is great.Robert was nice and responsive. Great service!

Do not waste your time here! No pierda su tiempo aquí!We took my wife’s bike to Cylcing 101 for a simple tune up and a flat tire. Since our local bike shop was not doing maintenance due to Covid this was our first experience at Cycling 101The bike was dropped off on Sunday. Robert, the owner of the shop told us he would call the next day when the bike was ready. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday went by and we heard nothing from Robert or Cycling 101. When my wife called to check the status of the bike, Robert was rude, he told us that the bike was not ready, that a bike part needed to be ordered and it was better if we ourselves called the manufacturer to handle it. I couldn’t believe what this guy was telling me. He never called us or mentioned anything about a replacement for a simple flat tire.We arrived at Cycling 101 and our bike was in the middle of the store looking exactly the same way we left it, with a flat tire. I wasn’t even acknowledged by the two people working there. I simply grabbed my bike and I told Robert “thank you for nothing” since there was nothing fix for almost a week. The owner gave me a bunch of excuses and a really bad attitude. I couldn’t believe my ears. Not only they didn’t fix a simple bike issue but I ended getting told off by a man I had met once before. Horrible customer service! I told him his excuses were pointless to me and I didn’t appreciate the attitude. This was truly a waste of time and a really bad encounter. I’m not one to write many reviews but I had to share this unpleasant experience. I recorded the conversation on my phone but it’s not worth sharing. Horrible experience will not recommend. Did my fitting at the store and it has made a heck of a difference in the way i ride. Highly recommended. Check them out also for all your bike needs plus weekly free training schedules. Great vibes and people to hang with.

Not only was my appointment ACCEPTED, but the address on the app remains the same. When I arrived I was told by members of the gym downstairs that the owner had moved the location. I tried calling the number only to find out it was OFF as well. I biked to this appointment from all the way in 107 ave and 88 st. I will NEVER recommend this business again.
