We custom ordered a 2022 X5 and paid a deposit on it, but when we went to make the purchase the dealership low-balled us on our trade to the tune of over $6k. We sold our trade to CarMax the next business day and then they refused to honor our deal while still holding our deposit. I wouldn’t recommend anyone even consider this dealership, avoid if at all possible. We are still waiting to see if they are going to refund us our deposit or not. So far all we have is a verbal promise to do so, but they’ve already proven they will not honor those.Update on the second business day following the refusal to honor the MSRP price agreed to in August. The dealership has refunded our deposit. Also, we purchased our Jaguar 5 years prior from the same Berglund franchise, and at that time were happy with our experience. The place has changed dramatically in this time, so take that into consideration with older reviews.
Isaiah and the rest of the BMW of Lynchburg staff did a fantastic job for us with this transaction. I got a fantastic car and got great value with my trade-in. I saw nothing but friendly staff, helpfully answering questions and showing a ton of expertise about the vehicles we were test driving. Id recommend Isaiah and the whole staff to any car buyer.

Not very impressed with the parts department. I felt like my concerns were not heard and rather than trying to resolve my issue, they just refunded my oil and told me to have as nice day. According to the BMW website and my owners manual, I was sold the wrong oil. I was told that they don’t carry it however according to BMW’s website, it can be ordered and picked up at the dealership. It’s sad when the customer has to do the leg work to get what they need. This doesn’t say much for customer service. I would have been happy to let them order it and then come back and pick it up, however I was not given that option. I was very impressed with the customer service I received when I bought my vehicle a year ago, but the parts department needs to understand that great customer service is what keeps people coming back. There are plenty of other dealerships out there and I don’t mind driving to get great customer service.

I spent many years in computer field service management and sales. I know what a first class operation is like. Berglund Luxury of Lynchburg clearly is one. Everyone with whom I dealt was professional, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. My Mercedes E-350 is, without a doubt, the finest car I’ve ever owned. It was flawlessly prepared and the service they provided after the sale couldn’t have been better. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Mercedes from Berglund or hesitate to recommend that others purchase cars from them.

I live in FL and i saw a cpo vehicle on their site that i absolutely loved. I flew up to VA to purchase the vehicle and couldnt be happier. They picked me up from the airport and made the paperwork process literally 5 minutes with no surprises. While I suppose it is always disappointing to find what any dealer would give you for your trade, Rey Gonzalez worked to try and get the best deal possible enabling me to purchase one of their loaner vehicles. I am very happy with the car, very happy with the followup and attention Rey provided to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. BMW of Lynchburg service is horrible. Their service manager is the reason. It’s always a hassle when I take the car in for service. When you pay for a luxury car you don’t expect to receive subpar service. I’ve purchased three new vehicles from Berglund Luxury Auto in the last three years. I will never buy from these people again because of this service manager.

Fraudulent business practices!! I purchased my car on 12/31/2019. Still no sign of paperwork that I signed and was promised to be overnighted to me. My lender does not have the title. The taxes I paid them has not been paid to the state of Tennessee thus I cannot register or tag my car. My 2nd temporary tag runs out in 4 days. I have filed complaints with the FTC and with BMW of North America. Unless you are willing to pay attorney fees DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! Scam artists!!

I get my vehicle serviced here and the experience is great. Pam does a great job getting your vehicle in and out. They gave a nice lounge area to get work done while waiting. Complimentary snacks and awesome coffee choices. Wi-Fi is decent if you have to remote in to business servers. Best service in town.

Drove 55 miles (one way) with a scheduled appointment for recall work and the part was not there and had to be ordered. I need to make another 110 mile trip for recall work!! I am not happy. The technician suggested rotating tires and a new cabin filter. The tires on the front and rear are different sizes so they do NOT get rotated. When the service assistant (very friendly) brought my car around to the waiting area I was appalled that the cover for the cabin filter was pinched between the hood and wiper blades. Obviously, the technician slammed the hood shut without putting the cabin filter back in place. They charged me $105 for an oil change. Pretty unreasonable. If I am paying a premium price for service I expect more than a backyard mechanic!

I visited today to test drive a newer used Infiniti after emailing with Martin several times during the week and scheduling a time. They had the car fully cleaned and detailed for my visit. I worked with Tiffanie from beginning to end and she was amazing. Great conversation for the inevitable times that we had to wait on the car or paperwork to be ready. How often do you actually get to enjoy your time and company at a car dealership? She was direct and to the point when discussing the car and when pricing came up which was beyond refreshing as well. M5 in for oil change.No filter in stock. Put old one back in.This was a pre set appointment.Now checking and looking at the car at home and nothing is screwed back in. Some of the Screws are missing. My husband knows his car like the back of his hand. Like anyone else who has an m5This is such poor workmanship and service for a car like this.They say they dont see many m5 in their place.No wonder.
I intended to purchase my vehicle from this location however they had trouble in getting the vehicle with the amenities I wanted. The sales associate was very nice and conversational however time-consuming. Unfortunately I had to do a lot more personal resource and I ended up knowing more about the vehicles that I was being sold then the sales associate did, however, in his defense he was todays new with the company.Although I didnt purchase my Volvo from this location I intended to get it serviced here because they were the closest Volvo dealer in the area however I came multiple times for the same issue that was never able to be addressed because of scheduling errors. I spoke with the sales manager both times, and both times he gave me nonchalant excuses which initially I allowed to pacify me however when I realized we were going in circles this became more bothersome. First, the sales manager Tim said my issues would take very long to repair and he did not have a loaner available so he recommended that I returned. I did so, even though I went online and filled up all the information that was wrong with my vehicle and that they needed when I scheduled for a loner. Thus, after being scheduled initially for a loaner they no longer had one available for me. however, I returned and the only lonely they had was an older outdated car which did not match the 2018 luxury SUV that I drove in With. Although I had a problem with this, I was not going to fuss because I needed my car serviced. However, after moving over to the loner I realized that it was on empty and completely out of gas. At this point I became frustrated and wanted at least a Volvo and not an old Lincoln that was given to me to match my car during this loaner period. Honestly, if they had simply gone down the road to Enterprise and rented me a car whether it was luxury or not, at least that would have been a newer and more acceptable than what they chose to give me as a loner. I returned frustrated, although I didnt show it, and when I asked for something different initially the sales manager said lets see what we can do. Then came back to say theres nothing else he can do. So, why have me wait and become even more frustrated. Instead of acting out or becoming angry I chose to leave and Im glad I did. I went to Prestige Volvo in Englewood New Jersey and had by far an amazing and exponentially better experience than I would have ever had at Berglund Auto. I had heard bad things from other customers and chose to ignore them and make my own decision.Decision made = I will not return!
Left my BMW 2000 323i wagon for a recall.They were quick which when I dropped off and picked up, which I liked. However, Randy Mills seemed condescending to me, as if I wasnt worth his time.They shuttled me to and from Liberty University, which I liked, a lot. Jason, who shuttled me, was quite entertaining.They offered a vacuum and wash, but didnt do very much.

Love, Love, Love Frazier Hughes. Drove 2 hours to get a car because the customer service was so awesome that I could not resist. I texted and talked with Frazier so much before meeting him in person that I felt we had known each other for years when I met him in person. I was missing a second key at the time of purchase. Even though the sell had been completed, Frazier went above and beyond to keep me updated on getting the replacement. He had it arranged so that I could go to the local dealership to get a replacement key. Would definitely go back in the future for another car because they have sooooo many choices.Thanks Berglund for hiring Frazier!!!!

Initially I went in to start the ordering process on a brand new BMW M4, but I ended up holding out for the new BMW M2 which will make it to dealers shortly. I get in there to discuss the allocations and availability for ordering. The guy who does their ordering tells me that, oh well the first one thats coming in is mine, so... What happened to putting your customers first? Oh wait, were talking about Berglund here, customer service isnt part of their vocabulary...

Top Notch! This dealership cares about their customers. We had a HUGE problem with a new Infiniti that we purchased from Berglund in Roanoke. Berglund Luxury in Lynchburg listened to us and helped us get out of the problem car and into a new Mercedes GL that was 2 model years newer. We cannot thank Dave, Jeff, Steven, and Joe enough for going the extra mile and helping us. What took Berglund Roanoke 4 months to even give us a phone call back, took 2 days for Lynchburg to get us into a great car. I will NEVER use another dealership other than Lynchburg.

I located Burglund Luxury online (I live in Florida) and spoke with Wendy Aston, who was polite and extremely knowledgeable about the luxury car market. After advising her of what my needs and wants were in my next car she quickly narrowed it down, quoted me, and had me set up with their finance person, LJ Nimmerrichter. LJ was able to process the paperwork without any surprises to me and my new car was delivered to the front gate of my community in Palm Beach County. I never had to step foot into the dealership. There was none of that running back and forth to see if they could work a deal for me and they respected my time. This team is amazing, well-informed, and values a customer. I would buy all my future cars this way from Wendy and LJ again.

I must start out by explaining that I am a consultant do the automotive industry and have been in this industry for just over 20 years. The experience I am about to share regarding Cross Roads Infiniti Lynchburg is one that I hope no one ever has to endure or repeat.I found a late model pre-owned BMW 535i on their website and inquired about it. They still had the vehicle, I informed them of my trade, I sent pictures to the salesperson, about 15-20 along with the VIN # etc.I received an email back with a trading difference and decided to make the 4-½ hour roundtrip to see the car. Obviously in my experience doing business in person goes much further than over the Internet. The salesperson had the car ready however took me on this very short 1.5 mile demo ride. Now keep in mind this is a $43,000 dollar investment. I have observed better salesmanship at Home Depot buying a $400 mower! He did not know very little about the features of the car nor did he seem interested in offering any additional information beyond just the facts.I offered the keys to my car while we were on the demo in hopes that after seeing my car in person that we would be able to close the gap on price.When we returned to the showroom, the salesperson was gone a very long time for over 20 minutes. I finally got up and learned they were having computer problems. All of this while I remain the only customer in the showroom (crickets!)The sales person returned finally to tell me “nothing has changed, we are still where we are with the numbers”. Now keep in mind, I am looking a car they purchased at auction SIX MONTHS ago! The market has changed, 2014’s are soon being delivered, used car market has softened slightly and these guys are still handing on to the theory they are going to make a home run on a 180 day old unit!I decided to politely leave and make the drive back home, as it was already 7pm. I did some additional research the next day and learned that I could find similar if not identical vehicle already certified with a 100k BMW CPO warranty. This has a minimum value of nearly 2,500-3,000 more. Therefore their vehicle being non-certified was far too high. I sent an email stating that if they could meet me in the middle (we were about $1,500 apart), I would take the car off their hands. Even on a short profit, they still had a $499 DOC fee and about another $200 miscellaneous fees that seemed as though they should be part of the DOC fee, has anyone ever heard of a “filing fee”? this was another $60 bucks. This not to mention they most likely had another $700-800 lot “pack” in their cost which is over and above what they paid for the car.The response I received the next day was alarming, I was told that I should “go ahead and buy the other car that’s certified and cost the same as ours, and that “WE ARE DONE!” Obviously it is in everyone’s interest to make a deal that everyone can live with.In summary these folks appear ill equipped to be employed by a highline brand such as BMW. I think the manager I worked with is traveling manager from Raleigh, probably a Kia or Ford store. He lacked charisma and the character it takes to manage an operation such as this. The reality is good sales teams defend their price and do a exemplary job of selling why their car is the best fit and value in the marketplace. If you are looking for a new or pre-owned BMW in the NC/VA area, stick with dealerships that have solid reputations such as Crown BMW, Performance BMW Chapel Hill or Leith in Raleigh. They each have experienced managers and sales teams. For those wondering, I bought a much more equipped BMW that had a $4,000 more original MSRP with same miles as this one AND it has the BMW Certified Warranty for the same price I would have paid at Crossroads BMW.
