We were in the market for a new larger capacity vehicle because our family had outgrown the Soul we purchased. We narrowed the search down based on the new criteria and used the searches on the web to narrow down the vehicle selection. Rather than spend the day searching in person I narrowed our selection down to Hyndai Tuscon and the Kia Seltos or Kia Sportage. The Lynchburg dealer only had one or two Sportage vehicles that were both outside our price point. The Hyundai dealer really liked their Tuscon and priced it well above our price point as well. But we stopped by Lynchburg Kia. They had multiple Seltos, offered to let us test drive, and had AWD in stock. Moreover they had incentives and friendly staff that made the shopping painless and efficient!I went into the car shopping expecting to barter and haggle. Instead, we negotiated a price that for our target and were out of their same day below MSRP! Last time, I thought we got taken because of the long time it took (upwards of 4/5 hours. This time, we came in, test drive, asked questions, made the offer, and were out of there in our new Seltos AWD with smiles on our faces!Kia of Lynchburg, you very well may have just won a lifetime buyer. After this experience, I wouldnt do business here.Elena was pleasant enough, but eager to make a sale she met us outside before we had even taken off our seatbelts. After talking briefly, she set us up for a 30 minute test drive with a vehicle similar to the trim we were interested in. Unfortunately my Dad had a pulmonary embolism and we needed to leave as soon as we returned the car. Elena was sympathetic and gave us her business card.We followed up a few days later wanting to see if they offered rental options, as we wanted to test drive for a longer period of time and see how the vehicle features fared at night. Ive been told some dealerships offer this, no harm in asking. Elena checked with her manager and informed us renting wasnt an option but that we could come in for a 2-hour test drive. Via texting we organized with Elena to arrive 2 hours and 15 minutes before their closing time so we could maximize driving at night. We knew we wouldnt be able to discuss numbers afterwards and were happy to not rush that process, the conversation would continue the following day. Or so we thought...When we arrived at 4:45pm, I made a quick run to the bathroom. When I came back to Elenas desk her manager was sitting in her chair. My partner told me the manager was eager to begin the discussion without me, asking what our intention was for wanting to drive the car for a longer period? I guess hes not used to serious buyers who do their due-diligence and research thoroughly. He asked us who would be the primary driver (none of his business), and then accused me of having totaled my previous car (rude and also none of his business) which is comical since I havent owned a car in 9 years while living in a public transit-friendly city and my driving record is clean.Dont mistake me for a less-informed car owner like this misogynistic male did, though. I grew up playing on car hoists at my aforementioned fathers beloved automotive repair shop, comfortably parallel parking cars before I had a drivers permit, and changing my own oil and brake pads before I graduated high school.The micro-manager insisted we could only test drive for 30 minutes, against what his staff member had promised us, and urged us to return mid-day so we wouldnt be so close to closing time when we returned, negating our intention. His desperation for a sale left for a poor customer service experience. I told him to stop wasting our time and reluctantly the keys to a trim similar to what our extensive research had narrowed us down to were handed over. The vehicle appeared to have fewer than 20 miles on the odometer before we drove off, yet the tank was at less than 1/4 full and the vehicle was in desperate need to be cleaned. As a positive, it gave me a chance to use the windshield wipers in order to clear the dust illuminated by headlights from oncoming traffic.We returned the vehicle unscathed and as we stood in the doorway talking to Elena about our experience, her manager came over and attempted to wave us into her office. School children we are not, so when we didnt move I verbally followed with that we were not interested in talking numbers, that we had had enough of an experience and wanted to discuss privately further before contacting Elena again. He did not like my statement so he repeated it to me in a menacing manner, so I turned to Elena and let her know we enjoyed our drive and had more to think about and that we were leaving. We returned the keys and walked out.The manager then followed us out, a rag and spray bottle in hand and began suspiciously inspecting the vehicle and intensely wiping it down. As we got settled in our rental car two parking spots over he then pointed the spray bottle in our direction and childishly spritzed the air next to us.Happily never returning. Thanks Elena, sorry your boss was so heavy handed and small membered - I mean, minded.

Everything is good here except they do not do on line promotions like a gift for trying out their cars like others do in the same area. They need to be more generous to the public and allow this perk. They are losing potential customers being tight.

We had a Kia Soul that had a serious engine problem at 93,000 miles. Kia of Lynchburg initially would not honor the 100,000 mile warranty. Only after we obtained legal counsel did they finally honor the warranty. Not a good experience, Kia makes a great vehicle but I would recommend buying from more reputable dealer, and would never use Kia of Lynchburg for sales or service.
We chose Kia of Lynchburg because of the great things wed heard about them from friends and family. They lived up to the praise and went above and beyond for us. This group of people are great to deal with, friendly and just had great attitudes. We wouldnt choose anywhere else to buy another car from! We will recommend them to anyone and will definitely be back in the future. Special shout-out to Willie! He really couldnt have made the process any easier.
Joe was our salesman and he helped me chose our perfect car! I was looking for a pretty blue car with lots of options and comfortable leather seats and so many other manufactures only make a pretty blue in sportier cars. Well the Kia Optima EX was what we bought and so far we love it. Joe and the other young man, he hasnt been there long and was still learning the ropes, that helped us were both so nice. I had to bring it back in the following week to have the pinstripe put on and I had some questions about the car and if Joe didnt know the answer he didnt stop till he found someone else that could! I appreciated him not giving up until we got it resolved!! So far we are enjoying the new car!!

Went here considering buying a used car. With less than perfect credit, financing was going to be difficult on a used car. So instead, they worked to get me financing on a NEW 2019 Kia Rio. Drove out of the dealership 2 hours later in a brand new car. Staff was great. A+++

I called the service department over a week ago about getting my Kia worked on. I left a message for the service manager to call me back and still have not heard back from them. I ended up getting it fixed elsewhere. Also I was going to buy a car from Lynchburg Kia a while back but found the sales department to be WAY to pushy.

All I can say is watch out! Kept me in the dealership for 1 1/2 hours just to give me a false credit report and attempt to get a HUGE down payment to replace the offer they had made on my trade in. Went to another dealership across town, got a reasonable offer and my correct credit score. Will never go to Kia of Lynchburg again.

If you are in the market for a car, I highly highly suggest Kia of Lynchburg. We passed up on about 6-7 other dealerships before finding this one and Im glad we did. They were straight up with all the questions we had, professional and didnt put any pressure on us when it came to the vehicle we wanted. Ive been driving for 25 years and have been into a few dealerships but this one was the best hands down. Going to a dealership can be a stressful time but not here. I will be buying another car from them in the very near future, hopefully this time next year or before.

This review is for the service department.This place is great! Coming from NoVa and having to deal with the Kia Dealership there, its night and day.Staff is super friendly and very thoughtful. At no point do I ever feel like I get talked into something I do not want or need.The facilities are great, I get my own office to work while Im waiting on the car. Good coffee and some nice snacks.The work thats done has always been good and affordable, again compared to living in NoVa its night and day.I will definitely be going here for both my Kias their maintenance.Finally, the sales department is great as well. Although I was not able to find the car that I wanted. Dennis and his team were extremely helpful in trying to help find the right car for me.Keep up the good work yall!

The GM and all the sales reps were extremely friendly. Stephen Gerling helped find me a vehicle that fit my needs almost perfectly and Kias team was able to find my husband and I financing. However during price negotiations we chose to walk away. It wasnt a bad deal, just not the exact deal we wanted. We would have gone back and done business with him if it werent for a miscommunication between us and the GM. Steven gets an A+, GMs miscommunication gets an F. Overall experience A. I would still recommend this dealership to friends and family.

I always have a great experience when I do my service with Berglund Kia. This most recent visit tops my list. I sent my daughter over to have her car state inspected and the service manager Christy Herald and Certified Technician Mike Schwartz went above and beyond to take care of her. Mike even pointed out items of concern that were not included in the state inspection but should be performed for maintenance. I appreciate the level of care and honesty that they use and as a dad sending his daughter alone to a garage to have work performed, I not only feel comfortable I also feel encouraged.I would recommend Christy, Mike, and the entire Kia service staff to anyone who not only wants great service but an enjoyable customer experience.

My husband and I bought our first kia Saturday. We originally went in late Friday night and everyone was so helpful. Wendy greeted us with a smile and was so pleasant. We left without the car and went back Saturday because we knew we wouldnt find better customer service and a great deal as we did here. Sherri and LJ were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Chester was great too checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Sherri was amazing getting all the paperwork together and showing us the car. Ive been bringing my 2015 KIA Sportage to the KIA of Lynchburg Service Department for over 2 years now (purchased my Sportage used (CPO) at KIA of Lynchburg as well). All I can say is Joe and Christy are the best service managers at a car dealership Ive dealt with. Always professional, always courteous, and always on top of any service or maintenance I have performed on my Sportage.Without hesitation I would recommend the KIA of Lynchburg service department for all your KIA service and maintenance needs.
