This review is specifically aimed at the service department, Ive never dealt with the sales team at Berglund Toyota.I took my truck in to get an alignment after getting some custom suspension work done on it. 2.5 hours later, they ring me up to tell me that my tie rods are bad and they could not complete the alignment but charged me the full $110 for the service. I did not know the tie rods were bad when I took it in.Im not upset they couldnt do the alignment, sometimes parts go bad, it is what it is. Im also not upset at the price, thats a pretty standard rate for an alignment and I recognize the time of the mechanics is valuable.Im upset because they began the alignment, figured out they couldnt complete the job because of the tie rods, and continued anyway and charged me full price as if it was a full finished job. Instead, they did as much as they could (and by the way they explained it, the job was maybe halfway done), and just called it a day. If theyd told me the tie rods were bad from the get go I would have taken it in another day to get new ones installed and aligned all in one go, but they never told me until the job was already done and I was ready to pay. I would not have wasted the mechanics time or my own. Now I have to buy new tie rods, pay someone to install them, and then shell out ANOTHER $100 or so dollars to get the truck aligned again.I will not be getting this work done with Berglund Toyota. I dont trust that they will identify an issue that may cost me more money and tell me before its too late and I owe them more than I anticipated paying.

I went to Berglund Toyota today to look around and test drive some cars to see what I may be interested in. I ended up finding my dream car with the help of amazing Mironda, and I walked away today with a brand new 2021 Toyota Highlander. As a first time buyer & right out of college, I was super nervous about this process and being walked all over. The sales team were so kind, honest, and patient with me and I didn’t feel pressured at all. I had such an amazing experience and recommend Mironda & Berglund Toyota to everyone!!! 100/10

Mironda Ray was amazing!! I originally had an appointment at another car dealership but stopped in to check on a car I saw online. Mironda answered all my questions and helped me understand driving a hybrid especially since is a hybrid driver herself. She was kind enough to ride with at my request so I could pick her brains as we drove. Everything was easy and up-front. The financing process with Tiffany was also quick and easy and made me feel like I was chatting with an old friend. Would recommend and I plan to come here should I ever need another car.

Wish I could say experience was good truck has been in multiple times finally fixed one problem (low trans fluid) techs damaged vehicle on 2 occasions wife went in for scheduled service told em she had tire going down techs rotated tires said they couldnt find anything put on new inspection sticker sent her on her way t tire had nail in it.

This place is a joke!!!! Bought a used vehicle from them and the next day (purchased at 7pm)I noticed my blind spot mirrors were not working … looked on the check sheet and it was checked as good before selling …not sure what else they lied about on the sheet but I’m sure I will find out at my cost. they are going to replace it … but the time it will take to have my only vehicle gone (father of 4 and pregnant wife) and the principle of having trust in a dealership and then MY So CALLED SALESMEN leaving me on my own after I signed on the paper made me decide I will NEVER buy from them again !!! I bought a 4Runner in April. Awesome sales experience.❌ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE❌I have been trying to get my tags for 3 months now. I live 4 hours away and can’t just stop by.The finance manager Sam Nelson will not call you back or return emails, his voice mail is always full too. That should tell you something. Have had to send multiple copies of the same thing because the excuse was “it’s blurry”and no tags yet. The tags were issued in June.Called to speak to the manager of Berglund Toyota, no answer, left a voice mail and that was three weeks ago and I haven’t heard a word yet.I love the vehicle that I purchased but I will NEVER do business with Berglund Toyota again.Hopefully I can save someone else the headache.

So in November of 2019 I purchachased a used infiniti from them and purchased a $3500 platinum warranty that they they assured me would cover all my worries and should anything happen with the car I could just come bring it in for repair so for the first time I call them and say I need to make an appointment because the computer screen is stuck and they tell me that I should make an appointment at an infiniti dealership! That they have no expertise at working on or diagnosing these cars. Closest dealership is an hour away in roanoke and funny thing is, it is BERGLUND INFINITI. You would think they would service me in lynchburg since they sure didnt mind taking my money here and consult their sister building in roanoke if needed but instead they just sent me away to look elsewhere for service even though I purchased from them. Very upset! Now I have to arrange a hour and a half trip from where I live in amherst to a dealership in roanoke, if I had known they couldnt service the car I wouldnt have purchased it from them. I go to the warranty website and it directs me back to the dealership but says if Im traveling I can call a number and they will give me a dealership near me. Thing is the dealership that sold me the car and the warranty is near me. Very frustrating!

I came to test drive a new RAV4. Stan showed me one to test drive and I liked the ride quite well but I wanted one with a few more options. With his help he learned that there was a new one more to my liking that had just arrived. This new one was perfect and I was able to take it home the next day. Stan did a great job and everyone that I met was most helpful.

Had a good buying experience. Told the staff the Tacoma was pulling to the left, brought the truck in same day for alignment, truck “gets fixed”. Two days later truck begins pulling again, take it to my mechanic, the issue was fixed by the berglund staff. Very happy with the customer service.

I wanted to give 5 stars because We love the Toyota Tacoma we bought there and they talked us into paying $900 more for a paint shield coating and I am pretty sure that was worth it as the Toyota still looks brand new. The amiable & eager guy that helped us accidentally texted all of our financial information including SS number and EVERYTHING, name, address Ss number bank information, UG! to a stranger as he was off ONE digit on the cell number. I know he didnt mean it. To be safe, we then paid $500 annually for the next three years to LIFELOCK to protect our credit. It was a mistake, to be sure, but a costly one for us. In fairness, I think we should have been offered this since it wasnt our fault but I did not ask for this gesture. Nothing bad happened to our credit and we love the truck. The staff members were friendly too but if info. had gone to the dark web it would have been a disaster.

Today I went in not knowing if I could get approved for a car! Let me tell you all if it wasn’t for Mironda today I don’t know what I would have done. Not did I just get a car but I got a new 2021 Toyota RAV4! Thank you so much to Mironda and the Toyota family.

Great experience trading in my lease vehicle on a new to me 4x4. Miranda had my finances figured out before I completed the test drive.

Honestly a one star is too good of a review, really needs to be a zero star. Bought a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze from these folks a couple weeks ago. Used car, they took full advantage of the current “car market” and would not negotiate one bit, even though the car had a scratch on nearly every panel and needed a whole rear bumper. Had to buy it anyway because a car was needed at that point… Yeah that was a mistake. First week, needed the turbocharger. Second week it needed the valve cover replaced. 3rd week it needed the water pump. 4th week it needed the intake manifold replaced. 5th week and it needs the serpentine belt tensioner, and noticed that the new alternator that they (Berglund) had replaced has a crack in the housing from poor quality installation. And of course if you call in and don’t give interest in buying a car they turn in to a mechanical answering device and are not helpful at all. They won’t stand good on ANY of these mechanical issues, which if paying a premium price for a used car it should be in pretty good shape. But somehow they “missed” a whole lot in their “inspection” before selling the car. How much could they conveniently “miss” finding on your next car so they don’t have to replace it?

Would not recommend buying a car from here, especially if you are a first time new car buyer. The final detail guys are careless and sloppy. No one actually understood how gap insurance worked. Definitely do your research and educate yourself beforehand so they don’t ruin your first time car buying experience like they did mine.
