After not having our vehicle for well over a month almost two with needing to replace the rear-end in it. I have to say if feels good to drive it again. I would like to give a huge thank you to Kate Powell and her crew at Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for putting the work in to get us back up and running. Especially Kate you definitely went above and beyond to make sure our vehicle was right and I cant even put into words what that means to us. Thank you so much for everything girl YOU and YOUR CREW ROCK!!!!
Very disappointed with my recent experience in the service Department. I own a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has approximately 42k miles. The Jeep is also equipped with Michelin premier tires. Mind you these tires have a 60k mile warranty. Joel Cluck gave me an ultimatum and would not pass my inspection claiming that the tire tread was too low and wanted to charge me $512. I declined his offer and took my vehicle to another mechanic who did not find anything wrong with the tire tread. Beware of these schemes when servicing your vehicle here. I usually do not write reviews but I also believe that you should treat people how you would like to be treated.
Kate Powell and her crew at Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram service department are an absolute godsend! Especially Kate, she definitely went above and beyond to make sure our vehicle was fixed and back on the road! It doesnt matter what make your vehicle is or where you bought it from, you can take it there and get top notch service! If you have problems with YOUR vehicle, take it to Billy Crafts service department and ask for Kate! 😉
First of all they lost a 70 k sale due to the lazy and rude sales staff, So went to Pinkerton and bought a Sierra Dinali and that experience was amazing.. I have a 2020 gladiator that needed a tire pressure gauge .. I thought it would be simple, I took it there it took four times for them to finally fix it after I got onto them, so I drove it back to DOMINION Dodge in Bedford where I bought my jeep and I’ve had no trouble no issues so if you would like the same it’s worth the drive to Bedford
Sales person was very unprofessional and somewhat rude. He also did not know any correct information about the two different trim levels we looked at.
I have been dealing with Bill Craft for probably 12 years satisfied. Had a good salesman, he retired recently. I bought a 2018 Compass. Not a happy camper at all. This vehicle shut everything down on me last Sunday night. I went to Advance Auto to get some oil to put in it because on Sat. Night I had to put brakes on quickly and it flashed for a second low oil pressure. My son went in and got 2 quarts and went back and got 2 more. This thing was 4 quarts low. I tried calling service dept. And they never called back. They act like its normal and you just need to keep checking your oil. Not for a car 3 years old and 20,000 miles. I really dont know what I am going to do now, but I do know I need a dependable car. 2018 Compass is a piece of junk to me. I had the Jeep Patriot and loved those. This is a poor replacement for the Patriot.
I specifically only used the service department and I found the employees there to be super polite and friendly. I went to have a recall fixed and they also accommodated my schedule for a tire rotation. I really cant say enough about how their politeness put me at ease. There was 3 different seating areas with plenty of room to allow for social distancing. Thanks again!
I have owned several Jeep Wranglers over the years, but the one Ive always had my hopes set on was the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4-door. As one of the top of the line models, finding a Rubicon 4-door that wasnt out of reach in the amount I wanted to spend had always been the challenge. Had it not been for Kirk Wilkes at Billy Craft Jeep in Lynchburg, Im certain the challenge would still be ongoing. Kirk found for me my dream Jeep that included every single one of my wish list requests, and he did so without rushing or pressuring me into settling for something less just because it was the easy way to fast track the sale and move on.My father has been a fine wood worker for nearly 60 years. The one lesson about his craft that hes tried to impart on me is the importance of measuring twice and cutting once. This practice prevents unnecessary and costly errors from occurring resulting from being overtly impatient and willing to compromise excellence. Kirk follows a similar approach when it comes to delivering on his customers expectations: he listens for and hears exactly what they want the first time, then goes to work to find the right vehicle - the perfect vehicle - every time. This not only eliminates the need for putting the customer through unnecessary pressure that often forces the customer to compromise - to settle - on something less; it reaffirms to customers that trustworthiness in the car buying experience can and does exist - as it should - which makes everyone involved a winner. The buying of a vehicle is arguably considered among the top two or three biggest, single purchasing decisions people make in their lives, behind the purchase of a home or other real estate. The last thing you want to worry about when making any type of purchase, least of all a major one like for a vehicle, is whether or not you can confidently trust the person advising you. This is one concern you can dismiss when it comes to working with Kirk, and its why I say without hesitation that he has a customer for life.Thank you Kirk and Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for doing business the right way, because its the only way business should be done.Steve McClintic, Jr., Salem, VA
Set appt for LOF and replace Fr and Rr differential fluid on 35k Jeep Wrangler. New Service Advisor was great. She listened! In and out in under 2 hrs. Previous customer.Bought Jeep new in Texas. Recomnend.
Ricky Hamlet made buying a car so easy and stress-free. It was one-stop shopping from purchase to financing to insurance adjustment to tags and license to driving off the lot! Everyone throughout the process was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. Ricky is honest and helpful and not pushy at all! Make an appointment with Ricky, if youre in the market for a new vehicle!
Came in with the intention of just looking around and seeing what the new model year had to offer. Bob came out, not being pushy, simply asking if I had questions. He was very knowledgeable and I decided to test drive it, he came along and explained features of the vehicle as we were going and essentially let me go where I wanted and do what I wanted which is becoming rare in test drives anymore. Needless to say we got back and he showed me one they had in the showroom that I loved. We then began working on a deal and he made me feel like he was legitimately on my side, nobody there was deceitful, they got the payment to what I wanted and we did the deal, all in all was there maybe 3 hrs and I was driving away. Very enjoyable dealer experience!
Awesome job! I was scheduled for a diagnostic on an acceleration issue on my Wrangler. I wasnt expecting it, but it was fixed the same day and in a very timely manner. The service advisor was fantastic in communicating what was needed, and the shuttle service guys were prompt and sweet. Will definitely be recommending the Billy Craft service center to everyone.
I figured I would try to treat my jeep right by bringing it for regular maintenance at Billy Craft Jeep. My first experience several months went well, just a regular oil change, nothing unusual. Service was as expected.Went today to get my next scheduled oil change. Went online to their website and saw they had a coupon for a semi-synthetic oil change for $39.95. I prefer full synthetic for my Jeep so my wife called 2 days ago and requested to know if we could use the semi-synthetic oil change coupon listed for $39.95 and just pay extra for the full synthetic oil. They stated yes, it would be $59.95. I felt that was a fair enough deal, I requested an appointment for today.I showed up, drove 40 minutes to the dealership and showed the coupon to the gum chewing customer service rep and explained what we were told on the phone. She stated that we could not use it and it would be over $70.00. She said that she might have a coupon that she could use for $5 but she would only know about that when it was time to pay, after the work was completed. I re-explained what was told to my wife on the phone but she said she didnt know and acted like she didnt want to help. While this was only over $10 or so, this is more for the principal of the matter. We made efforts to call ahead and request clarification on what the charge would be. We were told $59.95, which we felt was fair. I drove 40 minutes just for the oil change, I didnt have any other business to attend to in Lynchburg, and then I felt I got the bait and switch treatment when I got there. I wasted 80 minutes driving, 3 minutes talking to the rep who really didnt seem to take the initiative to confirm what I told her. Truly felt that they didnt care for my business.I just bought my Jeep in late 2016, plan on having it for years to come. I will never bring any of my business to them, they lost a customer for a matter of $10. Good customer service indeed! The coupon listed additional charges may apply for synthetic oil. I understood that but $30.00 more??
I purchased a ram from them a few months ago. They screwed up the paperwork twice and had to fill it out again. The salesman came to me the first time which made me nervous. Left the sales manager two voice mails and he never returned my call. Ive had 3 warranty issues with the vehicle and had to go to another dealer because the wont call me back.
All I can say is the folks at Billy Craft Jeep are at the top of their game. They did not pressure us, they listened to what we could do and worked hard to earn our business and trust. There was a factory recall on the vehicle that had not been serviced when we purchased it. The Sales Manager offered to stop by and pick it up on his way to work and bring it back on his return trip home. It just doesnt better than that! Thank you for the wonderful experience and we have told our friends and will be back to buy again when ready!!
Wonderful service department.Very knowledgeable staff
Be really careful with this dealer and do your research. Pay for Carfax or another similar service. They tried to sell me an overpriced truck with previous collision damage. The only thing that was going for was the fact that it was not hard enough for airbags to deploy. They will lie about actual value and try to tell you that their sources are more correct. Do not trust anything they say.
Good mechanics
On the road having coolant issues, called the nearest dodge (Billy Craft). I spoke with Greg in the parts department, he told me to come in and they would be happy to help me. I arrived and Greg came right out, helped me with mixing and adding my coolant and I was on way. I am so appreciative of the special attention I received at Billy Craft Dodge. Everyone was super friendly, over all fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!
I want to say thanks to Bo and everyone who worked on my deal ! This was the easiest experience I’ve ever had at a dealership ! Bo was very polite and listened to everything I had to say ! Thanks again !
Walked in today and had a great experience with the sales agent Holcombe. He really went above and beyond to get me what I wanted for the price I could pay. The finance guy was also great. I bought a cash car and received a great deal. I would definitely shop here again. Thank you Billy Craft for a great car buying experience. 😁 I will update this review if I have any car issues to let you know how it goes. But as of right now I am a satisfied customer.
GREAT PURCHASE EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP. Holcomb Hughes was very easy to work with and very helpful when we purchased our new van. He put our needs in front of his own and went out of his way to help us throughout the process. We were treated great.
Incredible service and good prices. I had to get my oil changed and my tires rotated and I was in and out in under and hour. I would definitely recommend this place for any service you need done.
Service was fast and waiting room clean. Price was good.
I just purchased a new Jeep from Craft Jeep. The service I received was excellent and I definitely recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a Jeep.Bo was excellent and took time to review everything with me.I had purchased a Jeep from them 5 years ago and wanted an upgrade. This dealerships still believes in customer service!Great Job!
My RAM 2500 was recalled for several updates, service was fast. I intend on using them for my oil change service in the future if they are competitive in price. The shop was clean, nice waiting room and rest room available. Overall it was an excellent experience.
Whomever works in parts ought to find a new job. He definitely doesnt care about customer service.
Bo was wonderful with us from day one! When we couldn’t find exactly what we wanted in a Jeep he offered to place an order for us. When I had to come back a few days later to finalize, he remembered me immediately and was right on top of things. Answered my emails and phone calls promptly and was very understanding when we were delayed a few days with the Jeep pick up. Ryan was great, explaining everything in detail yet expediting the process for us. Very happy!!!
Although they were heavily booked, they worked me into their schedule. I was prepared to stay the entire day, but was pleasantly surprised when the service person came to get me from the customer waiting room less than a half hour after I sat down in there. I was pleased with the work that was done and the timely manner in which it was completed. GOOD JOB!!!
I was pleased with my experience at the service department. Zach kept me informed via text message throughout the process. He let me know when they were getting started, what they found upon inspection, and matched a tire price I got elsewhere. A couple air filters were replaced, and my fan was making a strange noise when I picked it up after 5pm. He pulled it right back in and they made an adjustment to fix the issue. They didnt replace the the key battery I had requested, but since Id kind of mentioned it as an afterthought when I dropped it off, it wasnt that big of a deal. Overall, I was pleased with the service!
From start to finish, everyone at the dealership was very welcoming and professional. The questions we had were answered quickly and satisfactorily, Bo was very friendly and patient, and Ryan in finance explained everything we needed to know. We left the dealership feeling good about our purchase.
Ive been using Billy Craft since I moved here in the fall of 11. I have never taken my vehicles anywhere else in those 6 1/2 years. Ive always been treated well and never felt taken advantage of. Ive gotten to know some of the employees well and miss the ones who have left that were very kind to me. I look forward to continuing getting my vehicle needs met there. Ive only had one issue, just recently, but the discrepancy was handled well and I am satisfied it will not happen again. Thank you for always putting customers first.
Took my Dodge Grand Caravan in with major issues at a scheduled time. After diagnosing rocker arm replacement to the cylinders and coolant line break to the transmission. All work was completed in a 24-hour period! Was kept in the loop through all the work via text message. First time I have ever had such prompt and Professional Service at a car ! Will return with any other issues to with this vehicle or my other one!
Using the My Mopar mobile app I was able to schedule an appointment with Billy Craft to have 2 different recalls done. All I had to do when I arrived is hand over the keys. Everyone was polite and courteous. When the work was done they came and got me and escorted me to the door. Couldnt have been easier
Bo was great! Efficient, knowledgeable, and relaxed. I came from Fredericksburg to get the car I wanted and even though he was helping two other people at the same time, the car was ready and I was in and out of there fairly quickly. A great atmosphere with a true professional to make it smooth. Thanks guys!
We bought our Pilot in January from this dealership. The team was great to work with and very helpful! When a problem arose, they were great to talk to and very helpful!
I was in town for a funeral on 14 Jan 2020. My 2005 Dodge had problems starting. After having it towed to Billy crafts at 1030pm (early drop). I arrived on 15 January at 8:30am, I was greeted by Matt (Svc manager) who was aware of my vehicle and had a tech working on it. By 9am Matt approached me with the techs diagnosis (P0339 crankshaft positioning sensor) and recommendations. The repairs that would get me back on the road would took about an hour. That gave me time for breakfast. I want to say thanks to Matt and his team of professionals for making my experience at Billy Craft Dodge memorable. I like to report my 4 hour trip back to Havelock NC was smooth sailing. I would recommend Billy Craft Dodge if youre need service in the Lynchburg Va area.
I was charged $220 to replace 4 spark plugs. They said I wouldn’t have a diagnostic fee because of my insurance. They said it was the cylinders misfiring and they had to replace a connection part and that would take 30 minutes to be done and it took an hour. They charged me for an hour of labor when it was their mistake they went over on time. I was late to work because of their mistakes. I spent 3 hours here. I was even thinking about trading in there and getting a new vehicle but not anymore.
Ok ... Bo is a great salesman and gentleman. Ryan did a fantastic job with my paperwork. I could not be more pleased. They have earned my business!
The new car sales staff was pleasant to work with and the transaction went well. However, the service department has been a nightmare to deal with. They are difficult to reach and make arrangements for appointments. My new vehicle required a few repairs while under warranty. During appointments, the technicians didnt repair all that they were supposed to. When parts were available, they did not call to notify me, I had to call them repeatedly to ask. (Reaching them is rarely an easy task.) I have called and left many messages for the manager to call me and it was not done in a timely manner. We will not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership due to the blatantly poor lack of service for the repairs. If they would correct the issue and take ownership for their actions, we would rectify the review and reconsider.
As always a pleasant experience. I had a recall for my Jeep Cherokee and called to make an appointment right away. They fit me in as soon as possible and were very friendly and polite. Only took about an hour to get everything re-set and updated.
My 19 year old Dodge Ram 1500 was becoming too costly to maintain and I decided to buy a new Ram 1500. I had ordered my old truck to my specifications from John P Hughes in Madison Heights. I was deeply troubled about letting go of my old Dodge Ram because of my Yellow Lab, Sandy. We called her Baby Girl. She had been my ride buddy. She passed in May of 2016. Every time I vacuumed out the truck, I would find a little of Sandys hair between the seats. Letting the old truck go was loosing a lot of good memories. Sandy and I often shared a bag of pork rinds on the way back from wherever.I was a little concerned about going to a unknown dealership. Bo Johnson greeted my wife and I when we arrived and patiently listened to me list the options I wanted. He searched the existing inventories of local dealers and found no one had my truck. He helped me order a truck from the factory to my exact specifications. Crank up windows, rubber floor covering and a minimum of anything remotely resembling bling, This to me is a pickup truck.Bo took my list of specifications and ordered the exact truck I wanted. Then we got down to business and started talking price. Bo gave me all the incentives I was eligible for and we did a little more negotiating and arrived at a price we were both happy with. This is the part of purchasing a vehicle I always dread and we made a deal with none of the drama you endure at other dealerships.Bo called me when my truck arrived and in no time we had all the paperwork done and I was driving home in my new Ram 1500. I hope Sandy will forgive me for letting her truck go. I think she would be pleased. I donated it to the local High School Automotive Technology Program. Mr McCafferty, if you hear a dog barking when you go out and get the old gray Dodge pickup, its just Sandy saying, Hello.
Could have paid a little less at a mom and pop shop, but I was willing to pay dealer premium because needed we it fixed quickly. They did the work, but it wasnt right the first time. We got a loaner for the weekend, and they got it fixed right and back to us Monday (was meant to be finished Friday). Pleasant staff and they fixed their mistake, but should have been more thorough the first time.
Somehow locked my key-less entry key in my car and couldnt get in. Called to see what options I had and someone was there to unlock my door in 15 minutes. Excellent service, super friendly, and he didnt even charge me. They have absolutely gained my future business!
Attempted to perform required factory transmission maintenance on 2014 Jeep Compass at three different scheduled appointments. At the first appointment they informed me that Jeep recommended transmission service at 90,000 miles instead of 60,000 as listed in owners manual but refused to provide any documentation of change. At the second appointment they stated they did not have the correct transmission fluid and refused to reschedule, stating they would call me when they got it in. 9 days after the second appointment I called them and they stated they had it in stock and scheduled a third appointment. At the third appointment they stated they did not have the transmission fluid and had just ordered it. Do not do business with Billy Craft Jeep, you will regret it.
Brought my van in for warranty work 3 times and still has not fixed it correctly. Sadly my check engine light is still on for the same issues I brought in for.I did call you and it is the same code. Instead you referred me to another dealership out of my way. Trust me if it wasnt a repair under Chrysler warranty I wouldnt ever call you again. This is the 3rd time since July my check engine light has been on for this code. I only requested a refund a the amount you over charged me not the whole amount. If only this dealership had integrity!
The service department was awesome. Nice people and work be hard to resolve the problem with my Jeep. Zach was very helpful to explain in simple way why wrong with my Jeep. I did not wait too long and my vehicle was ready under 45 minutes. Thank to the technician and mechanic who physically work on my vehicle
Went in because my trunk wouldnt shut all the way. Expected to pay quite a bit, but the gentleman looked at it, said it was a quick fix. He had it fixed in 15 minutes & didnt charge me a cent! Thats good service!!
Went in to test drive a Jeep, and ended up interested in a Ram. After test driving the Ram, I was ready to make the purchase. However, was lowballed so severely on my trade that I felt insulted. When I tried to negotiate a better deal, I was told that the numbers were too far apart and they didnt need to sell the truck right away because it was too early to tell if the sales quota would be met for the month or not. They basically told me they didnt want to sell the truck to me, so I walked and bought from another dealership. That truck is still on their lot BTW...hope it sits for a couple more months.
My wife noticed once again that she was overdue for an oil change. She drove into Billy craft Chrysler service on announced and Zach was helpful and attentive. He got her in and out before our grandchildren could wreck the place!
Have a 2012 Dodge Avenger that had developed a ticking noise in the engine. I took it to Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep for diagnosis and repair. When I bought the car I bought an warranty with it, that is supposed to cover a variety of issues.Anyone who has dealt with a warranty company knows that they are no eager to approve claims. Whether or not you get a claim approved often comes down to how hard your service advisor is willing to work and my Kenny was awesome.I know how difficult warranty companys can be and Kenny worked hard on my behalf to get the claim approved, I only had to pay the warranty deductible of $100, on a $1500 repair. No all service advisors would have went through the trouble. I greatly appreciate it.The car runs great and Kenny was polite and responsive at all times, I will definitely have my future service done there.
I can’t say enough about the experience we had at Billy Craft. Our sales man, Bob was kind and caring. He wasn’t pushy what so ever and just a gentleman through and through. When we got to the fincial department was absolutely amazing and informative as well. I would recommend this dealership over any others in Lynchburg!
The service center (Phillip)was extremely helpful he took his time and was very precise on what needed to be done, he was super fast in contacting me and advising me what needed to be done. Extremely satisfied Thank you very much and Happy New Year
Nice people, but always forget to do something every time I go for oil change! Also received a letter from their manager saying that he wanted to make an aggressive offer for my Jeep Renegade 2015. I was treated like I wanted to trade-in my vehicle! Wasted my half day time, and they gave me the lowest price possible and persistently following up even though I said no!
Had my my Moms Vehicle in for service this week I was bounced between 4 different people and neither myself or my Mother was called. I had to call 3 times to get answers. The last time I was finally given to Mike the manager who proceeded to yell at me about the diagnosis when I asked what tests had been performed. He refused to tell me stating I was not the customer even though I was on the invoice. He then proceeded to say that I am not privy to that information for my 75 year old mother. I nicely asked again how they came to the conclusions they were coming too. I was yelled at and even was counted to 5 yup then hung up on. Apparently when management is questioned they resort to treating their customers like a 6 year old.BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED> I found out the reason I have had 3 different service writers is they all have quit. MANAGEMENT is a joke.
Working with Bo & Ryan was as hassle free as can be. I drove from Delaware and would do it again just to get the service that I received from Billy Craft CDJR. They even came out to help in the hot weather to install my sons car seat!
Received a mail out saying they would make an aggressive offer for my 2011 dodge ram 1500 looked up what my truck was worth and Kelly blue book said between 16000 to 19000. They offered 8000 and said that trucks from Canada they could not sell. Went just up the road and was able to trade it in for over 15000. Heather was rude when coming back and telling us the results. Will never go back there again.
Great to deal with.....
Ottis Brown was very easy to do a deal with. I was upfront with him about what I wanted to do and he made a fair counter offer. No pressure or silliness, just honest negotiating. I love my car and Ill look for Ottis when I need another.
There’s a lot of one star ratings and I’m not surprised. Unfortunately for me I have a fleet Ram Pro City work van and I have few choices as to where to bring my vehicle. About one year ago I needed to have the radiator fan assembly replaced and left rear tire changed. Took them two weeks to find a radiator replacement. They said there weren’t any available. I went on line and found 4 of them at 3 other dealers who were willing to ship the part. One of them was in the Blacksburg area. Still Billy Craft insisted on doing it their way. As for the tire. I had to show the “kid” in the service area how to re-mount the spare so that it wasn’t flopping all over the place. So now I’m here for a check engine light. Stopped in Friday, they said they couldn’t see it until Wednesday and without taking any personal info said they’d set up the appointment. Got here and guess who they weren’t expecting? Told it would take up to an hour to diagnose the problem.Oh yeah. Did I forget to mention that when I stepped outside there were two employees who thought it was fun to burn a piece of plastic in the common area? Very professionalGot my vehicle back. Here’s an update. While waiting and I posted the above, Mr. Craft came outside to confront me about my post. Long story short, he suggested that I follow up my post once the work was completed. Well Mr. Craft I’m impressed that you took personal control of this. That’s a step in the right direction. Rodney also told me that in the future that I should contact him directly with any concerns. Another good step in the right direction. I truly hope that they are making an effort to combat the multiple 1 star ratings.Today was a much better experience.6/6/18Latest update. Had to bring in the Pro Master again. This time it needed a catalytic converter. “Should have it in a couple days”.Two weeks later I get a call that the converter is in. Well, what I had to tell them is that during those two weeks I got a new fleet vehicle and it’s a 2018 Pacifica. Nice vehicle, but I will no-longer seek service at Billy Craft. I have several other options.BTW. When I was called about the converter finally showing up, I told them that I no-longer had the Pro Master and the lady from Billy Craft was upset with me. “We ordered that special”.Hey lady, it was a warranty part. Shouldn’t cost you anything.
Dropped my wrangler off there for a battery and starter replacement that was supposed to take less than 48 hours, didnt get my jeep for 4 days and was pegged with a $600 bill. Despite them diagnosing the issue I continue to have trouble. On top of all the service issues I was offered $3,000 less than the value of the jeep when I talked about trading it in. Ill be going to dominion from now on.
Every one that I had the pleasure of dealing with was very friendly and knowledgeable of there product, Everyone was eager to meet my needs. between me and my wife we have purchased 5 new vehicles from Billy Craft
Admittedly it took them about a week to get my vehicle in but I drive a diesel truck and there are limited techs trained in that field. The service department kept me updated via text, were friendly in person and got my truck done in 3 days with a warrenty claim . Easy to drop off, easy to pick up and no complaints here!
Service center had always been great to us. We recently purchased a vehicle there and bon the sales guy was great
Terrific selection of new and used vehicles. Great management and superior service area. Very involved in the local community.
Did the recall on my RAM truck while I was visiting the area. They did it quickly while I waited. Great service.
Everyone there is very pleasant to work with and it was a GREAT experience. I will not hesitate to do business here again and neither should anyone else. Thank Billy Craft CDJR!
Went for an oil change and it took an hour and a half. Then they did an inspection and said my vehicle wasn’t safe to drive because of an issue with the wheel hub. The issue then became (along with waiting an hour and a half for an oil change) that the day I picked up my car they added services that I did not authorize to be done and then charged me for it.Will never be going there for anything. I’ll be sticking with someone else that doesn’t feel the need to rip me off and add things to the bill that I didn’t ask for.
I was not at all pleased with my experience at this dealership. One of my international students bought their top-of-the-line Jeep grand Cherokee and quite frankly the service he received was unacceptable. While I have no complaints with the salesperson who did an excellent job the rest of the sales staff And service department were less than professional. I called and left a couple of messages for the sales manager and never received a call back.I also left a message for Mr. Craft himself, he also chose not to return my phone call. After owning the car for just one year we sold it and bought a BMW instead. I would drive to Roanoke or Richmond before I would ever use this dealer again.
Very pleased with the atmosphere and the speed with which I was checked in. I was a little less satisfied that my thirty minute service took an hour and ten minutes, especially since it was only a software update. Still very happy overall.
I went in for an airbag recall on my 02. Everything on my vehicle was functioning 100% before bringing it in. I allowed them to do an inspection on the vehicle and I have no clue why I allowed this dealer to do an inspection but I did. After inspection, the service desk rep called to tell me my brake master cylinder needed to be replace, both front brake and rotors needed to be replaced, my rear axle hub seal needed to be replaced, both my rear light assemblies (ASSEMBLIES, NOT LIGHTS) needed to be replace.I said, no, do nothing and I will pick the Jeep up. When I picked up the Jeep I had 1/2 brake pedal of what was there before bringing it in, the pedal nearly went to the floor! My rear brake lights were out but they were functioning before dropping it off, I know this because my father followed me to drop the the vehicle off to begin with!I would not recommend the Service Center of this Chrysler, Dodge Jeep & Ram dealership.
Today i went into the dealership to have my car dianosed. Wednesday november 29th. They solved my issue within an hour. The manager on duty was a life saver today! Very pleased with my experience today. Thanks to the manager on duty at 9Am this morning. I have had 4-5 pleasant trips to this dealership. Strongly recommend.
Love jeeps, love chryslers, live ram trucks. Billy craft Chrysler has all three brands at one store. Great selection, friendly staff, free doughnuts!
Service review - I did not buy a car, but had electrical work for my jeep. They had the look over finished in 1 hour and took another hour a few days later, once they had the part, to put it in. It was quick, professional, and decent price.
I went in today to get the oil changed in my wifes Jeep. We got there when they opened for an 8:00 appointment and there was one vehicle in front of us. My wife had to go to work so she took my car while I stayed and waited on the vehicle. 2 hours later the oil service was complete. Two people came in and left while I was sitting there. I wasnt waiting in the waiting area the whole time, but I was near by. I was pretty upset. When they were finished with the service, I asked why the other people got put in front of me while I was waiting and the gentleman got very defensive and said we didnt tell him we were waiting. When I got to our white Jeep, there were black oily hand prints all over the side of the vehicle. I very dissatisfied with my experience at the Billy Craft Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
Had to have service done on our Jeep, we were told that it would be done by Thursday evening and that we could pick it up on Friday morning. Friday morning came and went and early evening quickly approached. They kept making excuses that they werent finished because it was a difficult task to put the vehicle back together...apparently they had someone who had NEVER worked on a Jeep before, working on ours. WORST SERVICE EVER! They will no longer have our business!
Great service and good with my vehicle.
I have had good experiences with this dodge dealer, but this last time not so much. I have a Dodge Challenger and I have gone there numerous times so they know my car pretty well. I had an appointment with dodge last friday at 3:30pm for my engine light being on and for an oil change/few other services. I dropped my car off then and told the service advisor he could have it for the weekend thinking they would at least do the oil change on Saturday or even Monday. The problem I had is my engine light has been on for the same problem three times now and apparently the first two times I brought it in they “fixed” it. I called on that Monday to see the status of my car and when I did, the service advisor on the phone had an horrible attitude and said “I thought I told you to call on Tuesday” I just wanted an update on my car since its been there two days now and has had the same problem three times now. So I try to speak to the service manger and I understand he might be busy but out of three times I called him and left voice mails he’s only called me back once. I tried to be nice and wait till today (Tuesday) just to find out when I called at 4pm they still didn’t even bring my car into the shop. Then when I get there to pick it up because I need it and can’t rely on my fiancé to drive me everywhere the guy just brings my car to front and hands me the keys without saying a word. I had to ask if they did anything to my car and they said no. I totally understand that they can be busy but for them to have it for three work days and not even touch it is ridiculous, and then the rudeness I got from the service advisor (ryan taylor) was unprofessional. When I schedule an appointment, I expected that slot to be open for my car to get in. Apparently at this dealer its different. Discovery Dodge here I come.
Billy Craft Chrysler was a horrific experience. My husband took his 3500 in for a warranty service and this location proceeded to tell us that the work had not been aproved by the warranty company and that a second technician needed to be sent out to inspect our truck. After calling Zurich we found out that the work had been approved in the first inspection (Which we paid 175.00 to the dealership for breakdown our truck for) All of the back-and-forth caused my husband to be unable to drive home for Christmas. It came down to one office manager (Heather) with whom all the miscommunication had occurred. Im not sure why she was obstructing the process, but thanks to her inefficiency it took two weeks for repairs to happen and my husband missed Christmas with our family because of the confusion. I would never take a vehicle to Billy Craft Chrysler again and Im deeply frustrated with the inefficiency and lack of communication in their service department.
Wow they are always so helpful and do great work.
Had service work done there on my 2017 Ram and also some recalls. They guys there have always been courteous and done great work.
DO NOT EVER GO TO Billy Craft in Lynchburg!!! I bought my 2013 chevy equinox at this location and two weeks after leaving the lot I had to replace a battery which cost $197. I overlooked that issue just because batteries along with tires, etc... are standard maintenance. Not long after I started running into small issues with the vehicle that they did not want to fix. Then my check engine light came on and while driving the vehicle the car completely shut off in the the middle of the road. I could drive it but only if I gave it a lot of gas otherwise it would cut off. I called to make an appointment to get it in as soon as I possibly could seeing as I work 6 days a week Mon-Sat. I scheduled an appt. with the service team for Wed. 9:30 a.m. on the 9th of May. I dropped my car off on Tuesday the 8th of May so they would already have my vehicle and begin working on it at my scheduled time of 9:30 a.m. the next morning. Wed. arrives and by noon no phone call. I call the service department at 1:19p.m. to find out information, then a representative named, Ryan, gets on the phone saying theres no notes that the service manager will call me back in about 5 minutes as he is getting off lunch. Well I wait, 40 minutes goes by no call. I wait to give the benefit of the doubt. I call again at 3:00 p.m. I explain that no one called me back Id like to know whats going on with my car. The same service rep, Ryan, says oh we didnt get to your car yet we have some mechanics out. #1 I got no call at all. #2. I had an appointment for 9:30 a.m. and they hadnt even touched my car by 3 p.m. that is not an issue of being short staffed, that is sheer incompetence and ignorance for not even a courtesy call so I can get my vehicle serviced elsewhere. Horrible customer service. They dont honor appointment times. Id give 0 stars if theyd let me!!!! Better business bureau as well as all social media outlets will be notified. Billy Craft is a joke!
In for an oil change, in and out within 1 hours. Great
Theses guys were excellent, great service in & out very guick
Rated 1 star because 0 stars isnt an option. Took my van in on Monday because it would not shift out of second gear. I called 3 times Tuesday, got put on hold then transfered to voicemail. Left 3 messages that were never returned. Called 3 times Wednesday and finally was told what was wrong with my van.Picked up my van Thursday after paying nearly $700. By Saturday it wouldnt shift out of second again.Very displeased.
I live in Altavista and have a jeep dealer that would not return calls to set up service, so after looking on the internet I found Billy Craft and call and got the appoint and everything was taken care of. Come in with your car running an no problems.Just wanted to see about warranty work to be done. Then get a a call your car want run an needs a battery even though a brand new battery was just put in. I had a rental car tried an tried to call. They claim i was in a rental for too long.Could never get no one on the phone. Very rude an unprofessional will never take my car there again.
My 1st visit, (oil change tire rotation) was very good, my 2nd visit, (oil change replace key fob battery) was totally unsatisfying! To change oil, lube and do a multi point inspection the labor charge was $11.00. I needed a new battery for my key fob, $4.00 and the labor charge was $18.00!! I can change that battery in less than 5 minutes people! This small thing may cause me to take my business to anyone other than a dealership, espedcially Billy Craft Dodge Chrysler
The service department was very nice. I will definitely come back.
Had an oil change and waited. Timely and professional
Poor service department and overpriced.
Took my truck in for a recall on a Monday. Was supposed to be in by Tuesday.. but didnt get in until Friday . As they were trying to tow my truck in on a flat surface, they let it roll down an embankment . Knocked my mirror off, dented my truck in two spots and are now trying to make me pay. Dont deal with them!
Mediocre service have gone in several times to have a recall done that wasnt able to be completed. Maybe the third time will be the charm.
Quick service, very professional. They have a kids play room in the waiting room.
Great place to do business, Great service dept. Thanks for everything.
The service department was terrible and worked on my Jeep in and out of shop for over a month. They ordered the wrong parts and the GM said he would call to discuss and never returned my calls. Had to drive up there to find out the status of my Jeep. Would not advise you to deal with these people.
Will NEVER return here for any maintence. Was told that I needed a repair that was over $1k and decided not to do it and drove 6 hours out of state to return my car to my hometown to get the repair done. 2 dealerships in my hometown said that absolutely nothing was wrong with my car and I was almost scammed out of money.
Dont know how to fix a simple coolant leak. No communication with the customer.
