The girl at the counter was super nice and let us sample all kinds of stuff! We ended up with a triple berry pie, honeycomb ice cream, and strawberries and creme ice cream. Everything was really delicious, and what a beautiful day to be outside to eat it! Love that this place is nearby. Well certainly be back.
We had an impromptu Thanksgiving and ended up searching for pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day. We found Atticus and were not disappointed. We bought an assortment of pies. The crusts were buttery and flaky and the ice cream and whip cream were freshly made and some of the best we’d ever had. It was obvious they use high quality ingredients. I’d love to see Atticus create a bigger selection of breakfast pastry and dessert options because they use such quality ingredients and a creative baking style. Would definitely recommend and would be great to buy for events and family meals. Thanks Atticus!
Do not pass this place up! Their little cheesecake/pies are SO good! Love the blueberry and Oreo flavors. All of their ice creams are so unique too. Atticus is a gem and the staff is always helpful and friendly! Do yourself a favor and grab dessert here!
If you are around West LA/Westwood you gotta stop by Atticus and try some of their pies!!! They have great flavors like Lemon Lavender, Chocolate Earl Grey, Coconut Banana, and many more. Personally my absolute favorite is the Chocolate Earl Grey! Great flavor and I love their pie crust. One pie is perfect to satisfy me as a snack but I always end up buying at least 4 to take home and share with people. Gotta try all their flavors! Atticus also offers some great ice cream and coffee.Definitely a must-try spot for pies and dessert in West LA!
I stopped in last week for some dessert. I had a sample of a delicious triple berry cheesecake but decided to buy a little pecan pie tart (my favorite)! I found it very disappointing. It was all nuts and no “goo”! The overall experience was DRY! I’m sorry I didn’t get the cheesecake!
The watermelon milkshake ice cream was delicious but we were disappointed with the pies. First, they are not really pies but actually tarts. Individually the crust and fillings are tasty but there is a lack of integration between the crust and filling, very unsatisfying. Both the cheesecake and cream pie fillings, while sweet and interesting sounding, leave you wondering what was that I just ate? The cheesecake was too much like a mousse and the cream pie filling was more of a pudding. The chocolate chip cookie, while average, did contain a plethora of chips.
Such a beautiful place. Oh my I love the owners passion for ice cream. This ice cream was such a delicious fulfilling experience. Not only do I recommend this to anyone that lives in the area or anyone just visiting this is real ice cream. I only would only give this ice cream to people I love.Thank you seee you soon :)
Good ice cream, better than store bought ice cream for sure, and is of higher quality in general. However, while this place is good, and on par with perhaps Salt and Straw, it lacks in fun creative flavors. The ice cream overall is very soft, very good texture, and overall was very pleasant. The other other gripe I have with this place is that where most places allow two flavors in their small cup or cone, this place is restricted to one only. Which is a bit of a disappointment when you want to be able to try two flavors at the very least.
This place used to be great, but had become just ok to mediocre now. Most pies are not very rich in flavor, but just average. One pie which is still great and which I can recommend is the salted caramel pie. At the same time the prices have increased while the quality has gone down. Unfortunately I must say Atticus is heading into a wrong direction trying to maximize profits by both increasing prices and reducing the quality. The special flair and the quality of this place which made it worth coming here are diminishing. This is a pity. Please do not disappoint us.
The ice cream is fresh and creamy. The cheese cake is delicious. I love the guava. But they taste good.
Ice cream was fine but the ENTIRE shop smelled like a wet rag.I had to walk out immediately and let my boyfriend order for me.Couldnt eat much because I was worried about quality because of the scent of the whole place, but it tasted ok.
So good! Many different flavors to choose from and the service was fantastic. I was able to sample as many ice cream flavors as I wanted and even got to try pie samples. Ill definitely come back here again!
There was a good choice of ice cream. I had blueberry cheesecake which was lovely. Nothing like an ice cream on a warm day. Thoroughly worth a visit.
Delicious fresh made pies, cute decor, and when we stopped in for my husbands birthday they gave him a cookie on the house
Really love this place! Their blueberry cheesecake pie is my favorite. Have also tried the Passionfruit mousse and triple berry, but still sticking to blueberry :)This place is a must try :)
This is a wonderful place for original ice cream flavors. It is not as cute as some of the places that get all the attention but the ice cream is at least as good and deserves its own following.
Small selection of house made ice creams and pies. Really enjoyed their lavender sorbet, and also their coconut ice cream. Very cute decor and logo, looks like its building up to be a must-check out in this busier section of Pico. Go grab a mini pie or ice cream after your movie at the Landmark!
We love going here for a tasty treat. They have so many different choices.
Im usually skeptical about the quality of the pie crust when the pies are baked individually. However, Atticus not only has a wonderful selection of flavors, but the pie crusts are fantastic! Would absolutely visit this creamery often.
Best dessert place I stopped in during my recent trip to LA. Great ice cream and great mini cheesecakes. Very wide variety of selections
Super cute place with really great pie and ice cream. Love the small pies! Plus there is a close cheap parking lot near by.
Wonderful handcrafted ice cream. The butter pecan is a dream. Delicious individual pies! Friendly service!
This place does not disappoint. The staff was super helpful in helping me find the right pie for me. Im going back soon
Omigaud... Ill be as big as major fault of I let this become a habit! Decadent!
This place has the most delicious little pies/tarts. Every time Im on this side of town, I stop in buy a few. They also have great customer service.
Salted Caramel Classic Pie is filled with homemade caramel mousse, bottom filled with chocolate ganache, topped with light cream and caramelized popcorn. The caramel mousse is subtle in flavor almost like a light butterscotch. It is creamy and velvety in texture. The caramelized popcorn is amazing! It is reminiscent of Cracker Jacks with rich caramel wrapped around each popcorn kernel. Rating: 4.5/5Coconut Banana Classic Pie is filled with homemade custard with chunks of banana, topped with coconut custard, light cream and toasted coconut. The custard is more like rich pastry cream with silky texture. The fresh bananas blend well with the coconut flavor for a more tropical take on banana cream pie. Rating: 5/5Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate Special Pie is made with chocolate mousse cream, bottom filled with peanut butter, topped with light cream and Reeses Peanut Butter Cup. The chocolate mousse cream is rich and decadent. The peanut butter makes for the perfect marriage of flavors. Rating: 5/5Strawberry Pistachio Special Pie is filled with strawberry cream mousse, bottom filled with pistachio cream, topped with light cream, and fresh strawberry. The strawberry and pistachio creams are reminiscent of an Italian parfait with a very slight gelatin quality. It is bright and refreshing. Rating: 5/5Honey Honeycomb sounds very weird, but is actually really great. The creamy vanilla base meets swirls of honey and honeycomb for different textural experiences. The honey in its viscous form is like caramel. The honeycomb is crystallized with crunchy sugar crystal goodness. Its just amazing and no wonder why it is their best-selling ice cream flavor. Rating: 5/5
Cannot attest to the taste but these pies are amazing!
Everyone should go here! Banana cream pie was creamy yet light. Banana peanut butter ice cream is silky and rich. Plus— wonderful customer service!
Great ice cream and pie flavors. Now they have coffee too.
Some excellent sweet treats in here and always busy at the weekend. Penelope is such a tempter outside the station too - although they always seem to run out of blondies first.
The cookies and cream was excellent. I didnt love their baked goods myself, but the ice cream was up there with the best of them.
My experience here was alright, but I guess you wouldnt know unless you climbed into my skin and walked around in it.When I came here with my friend, we decided to share the earl grey chocolate pie a la mode with cereal and milk ice cream. The pie flavor was wonderful - you could really taste the earl grey and the chocolate complimented it nicely. The pie crust, however, was extremely hard. When eating it, part of my fork broke off because it solidified so much. The ice cream was much better! Cereal and milk had pieces of rice crispies and was made from frosted flakes. Definitely a well made flavor and the texture was very creamy. I believe the ice cream is a must try, and there are unlimited samples here!Overall, did enjoy my food, but wouldnt go out of my way to come back. Definitely recommend the ice cream over the pie, though.P.S. Hope you got the To Kill a Mockingbird reference LOL I tried.
These pies are to DIE for. If you have tastebuds you will looove their apple pie. Honestly, I dont think Im ever eating pie from another pie place ever again.
Scratch made mini pies so good! Warm it up and ala mode and die happy.
This is the best place for your local homemade icecream and pies. They have the best cherry pie in Los Angeles!!!!
Great people, customer service and delicious pies and ice cream.
So glad we discovered this shop after our dinner night out. I am completely obsessed with their vegan ice cream/gelato. Their ice creams are made with pure, high quality ingredients. Traditional ice cream put thru gelato machine. Brilliant!!! My husband had a slice of the pie which is more of a tart... he is also obsessed and I rarely see him react this way towards deserts. We will be definitely be back and will try to spread the word best we can.
Yum. Ice cream, pies, and coffee. If youre out for a meal, skip dessert and come here.
The ice cream here is always melty for some reason. but their mini pies are really cute and tasty (especially the earl grey... my favorite!) you can sometimes try samples if they have some of the mini pies pre-silced up.
They have different kind of ice cream every time and the pies wow 🙏
I had the earl grey pie, which was absolutely fantastic! Most delicious and the staff was very nice. I had two free samples!
Amazing pies and ice cream. Such a great neighborhood find, truly a place to hunker down and try all the flavors of ice cream.
Got the apple crumble.... It was delicious. Enough said
Excellent custom made ice cream - excellent flavors youd never expect such as Honey.
The coconut banana cream pie is soo good!
Wonderful pies and ice cream at reasonable prices. They have many unique flavors.
If you like to eat some of the best homemade pies made with love and sent from heaven come this hidden place in LA!
Great pies...flavors off the hook and friendly service
Had the Oreo Cheese Cake. Damn good.
Delicious ice cream and pies and friendly service!
I like that their pies are not overly sweet. Cute and well portioned!
Something I like almost as much as burgers? Pie. And if you look through my history, youll know how much I absolutely loved Pie Hole. Alas, Pie Hole, Atticus is not. Aside from the fact that Atticus serves up individually sized mini pies, their pies and other offerings just arent nearly as good.Fortuitously timed, I happened to be in town right around the time they had the $12 for $20 Groupon going on, which I used on two back to back nights; The first night there, we went too late, and I ended up only picking up a chocolate raspberry pie, along with a chocolate chip cookie, and two scoops of their Nutella and chocolate, and brownie a la mode ice cream flavors. The night after, I went to pick up an Earl Gray and lemon pie for my sister and her boyfriend, which I didnt get to actually try.The cookie was, well, a chocolate chip cookie. Not a great one, not a bad one. Their ice cream was probably some of the most disappointing ice cream Ive had in a while, primarily because Im not a fan of ice cream thats served that soft, but also because their flavors were just a little too sweet. The pies (or, the pie I tried, anyway), fare a little better. Pretty tasty filling, though also on the sweet side, so theyd pair well with tea or black coffee. The real disappointment, however, was in the pie crust, which could have just done with a lot more... butteriness and flakiness. So, while the pies themselves dont seem bad, Id skip on everything else. That said, Id much rather just eat at Pie Hole instead, so I cant see myself coming back. 2.5 stars for these folks.***Accessibility Info***Venue - A fairly small venue, with some small two-tops up front and along the side, and a small walkway between those tables and the counter. Fairly accessible, though keep in mind that the items in the display cases may be a little difficult to see for the vertically challenged.Bathroom - Didnt try them, so no comment.
Yummy pies and even yummier ice cream! They have some traditional ice cream flavors like cookies and cream and then they have some really cool ones like sweet corn, which tastes exactly like sweet white corn at their peak season on a hot summer day when youre grilling in the backyard.Furniture and decor is sparse, which was a little disappointing cuz for some reason from the outside it looks super hipster, lol not a deal breaker. They offer plenty of samples of the ice cream AND specific pies! The people who work there are extremely friendly and patient! I must have tried half a dozen things before settling on orange lime-ade sorbet!Cant wait to go back and see what goodies theyve whipped up next!
Some unique flavors like sweet corn and cereal+milk
I always get the cookies and cream, the earl gray pie is my favorite. Wish they made an ice cream version.
A great variety of fresh pies!
Their grand opening was actually last Friday on Nov 14, 2014 and they are doing $1 scoops! Parking can be found on the street OR there is also free 3 hour parking across the street at the Westside Pavillion shopping center.I actually came here during their soft opening and had a delightful experience. Nothing like some good ice cream to turn your day around haha. The worker was very generous with sampling the different ice cream flavors and pies. I ended up trying their Apple Pie ice cream on their waffle cone. Omg, so good. There are pieces of pie crust in there, but it is even better with the crunchiness of the waffle cone! Another flavor I liked was the Honey comb so maybe Ill get that one next time. I also got their Earl Grey pie and you could definitely taste the earl grey flavor in it. I would come back to try their blueberry cheesecake!
Key lime tart is incredible!!
Amazing and they have gluten free
Pies are excellent ! the ice cream flavors here are also super

Lovely little restaurant with nice and friendly service.
Great honey ice cream!
