The patisseries here are amazing. I have tried five different flavors of macaron and three patisseries and were not let down at all! The macarons here are slightly bigger than some other places, but cheaper. The patisseries flavors here are also really unique. Everything here is a piece of art! Solid five star experience.
Incredible patisserie right off olympic and sawtelle. Every single tart, eclair, macaron, and croissant looked incredible. The owner was so helpful, giving us descriptions and recommendations for everything, and he was incredibly gracious to throw in a few extra macarons and a pain au chocolat with our order. Highly recommend!
Best pastries in LA, hands down! Everything is made to perfection and looks the part but most importantly also tastes phenomenal! Even the prices are fair and they often add free goodies into your bag (so nice!). Just try to get there early enough because today they were pretty much all sold out at 4pm.
One of the best pastry shops I have been to! Everything was amazing and the people who worked there were really nice. There were so many things there I never had before- really unique recipes, and beautifully decorated. Both savory and sweet pastries were equally as good.
Easily as beautiful and delicious as the now closed Dominique Ansel. The brothers who own the place are absolutely generous and kind. They were all smiles. They have a good variety so one can keep going back to try more. The St honore was my absolute favorite. The creme patisserie was so so delicious. Like true french pastries nothing was overly sweet and there is a lovely balance of tart and sweet. Everything chocolate was deep and dark.
Id leave 6 stars if I could! Im well traveled and have been to my fair share of great restaurants and bakeries, but Ill start off by saying the customer service here is probably the best of any place Ive ever been. The two owners are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and go above and beyond to give you a great experience. The pastries speak for themselves. Some of the best Ive have, and some really cool/innovative spins on pastry. If it wasnt already clear, GO HERE AND EAT SOME AMAZING PASTRIES ASAP
The pastries and mousse cakes are so well made. During this quarantine I didn’t expect to get quality like this at all. Highly recommend exotic mousse cake, almond croissant, rose macaroons (perfect level of sweetness)! 😊Hear they are opening an area with outdoor sitting after covid! Excited! Owners or staff there is so lovely, gifted 2 pastries along the way
A desserts oasis, a wonderful selection of macarons including passion fruit, pistachio, hazelnut and rose petals among many others. We were there as they were closing so we only got to order macaroons, nevertheless they were all delicious. Also, service is amazing, very friendly and helpful, must come back!!! Also cant wait to try their pastries!
An absolute gem! Patisserie perfection! Some of the most beautifully constructed and delicious pastry Ive ever had, and undoubtedly the best in Los Angeles. The staff is supremely lovely and welcoming.I think you could try anything from Artelice, and not be disappointed regardless of your flavor preferences. Bring all your favorite humans here.
Best desserts, best people! I always enjoy coming to Artelice, where I’m greeted with attentive service and genuine care. Everything I’ve eaten here is excellent! It’s a great experience from start to finish every time I visit.
Incredibly tasty croissants made with real French butter. Probably my favorite pain au chocolat. Their other pastries/tarts are works of art! We got the Neapolitan, the meringue, and a beautiful chocolate cube and almost felt guilty for eating them for how pretty they were. Also very tasty and thoughtful blend of flavors. The chef was very kind and gave great recs. Highly recommend! Excited to try more on my next visit. We brought them for a dinner with friends and they were so impressed!
If you havent tried the desserts here, you dont know what a good dessert is. Every piece is a burst of amazing flavor. Best Macaroons too. Staff is super friendly and generous.
I’m visiting from Indiana with my family, and we were excited to try as many places as possible. Little did we know that this bakery would make our entire day. My family and I are on vacation since I graduated high school (which we told the kind man helping us here) and he was so sweet and generous that he gave us 3 free (and delicious!) croissants and 3 free macaroons. Not only was the customer service incredible but so were the goodies. Absolutely incredibly and most definitely recommend!
We got different cakes and macaroons today. They were absolutely delicious and the macaroons were full of flavor! The service was very helpful and kind. A very very good experience!
Mango eclair was really good, it is definitely a must try that you will not find anywhere else. Persian croissant was delicious as well. The saint honoré was heavy but definitely worth it!The owners are very friendly and they always throw in a macaron on the house for us. I am excited to try the truffle croissant next time it would be available.
This place is awesome. Smells like heaven. Great service and delicious too.
Wish i could give more stars to this paradise! Im a croissant lover, so here you can get anything you couldn’t even imagine of. They are so beautiful, like a piece of art, before eat them you better look at them, enjoying aesthetically and then make this piece of art part of you by consuming it inside . Of course they are delicious! And crispy outside snd soft inside. wherever i eat them i become a happy person, im sure who invented croissants just got revived to show people what a real croissants should look like and taste like ! Also if everyone on this planet would try at least one bite of this deliciousness, would never even think to hurt anyone, for example go to UFC fight and give one croissant to each opponent, they won’t fight after that for sure, instead they would only sit and drink tea and talk about how beautiful world is :D
They work hard to offer us with the greatest service possible, one that goes above and beyond our expectations. It was perfect for me to go to this shop. The pastries they served were delicious!
High-end quality French dessert spot - featuring macarons, croissants, eclairs & ESPECIALLY mini mousse cakes! They even have house brand tea.Friendly staff & a devoted customer was there during my visit.Had the mousse-cake Valentino (dark chocolate & raspberry, with outer shell coating) and sampled the Exotic (mango & passion fruit flavours), plus their apple croissant. No seating inside (tiny boutique) & maybe 6 seats outside.Makes a great gift too... IMHO 😍Instagram - @aida.loves 😊
Love this little bakery! I stumbled into it with my friend after eating nearby because the pastries looked so good, and I can’t stop coming back. The service is top notch, and the man working at the counter remembered me from the first time I spoke with him and bought desserts. Everything is delicious, from the croissants to the macarons to the pastries, but the yuzu tart is really something special!
Everything here is amazing! The owners are incredibly nice and their pastries are out of this world.
Most delicious pastries (I’m French so my standards are high) . Highest quality. You can actually taste the ingredients rather than just sugar. Truly one of the best bakeries in LA! The owners are the sweetest and most generous ! He always hooks me up with extra treats !
Delicious, authentic French desserts and the service is absolutely amazing! The owners are friendly and gave us some extra treats and coffee. Best bakery in LA.
The best desserts in Los Angeles! They are delicious and looking like art pieces.
Fresh pastrys !!! Forget going to starbucks across the street. They have hot coffee that is very delicious. Great customer service the minute you walk in!! Love it!!
Tiramisu:Very cute!! Super light. The outside is a thin shell of white chocolate. The tiramisu cake inside is very delicate. I prefer more fruity flavors so I liked my sample more though.Cheesecake fraise sample:Pretty good! Very light lemon cheesecake with a strawberry jelly center. Id probably get the whole thing next time
For a local shop, the pastries and croissants are great! Heard the owner say Staples Center and whatnot carries them too??Are they the very best in Los Angeles? That Im not sure. I have a few higher on my list but would have to go back to revisit...
First time there last Friday, which we stumbled upon by accident and such a wonderful discovery. Super friendly staff that took the time to explain what was what which made for a great experience and the desserts were more of a work of art! Its like the Willy Wonka of desserts! 😋
Just came here for my birthday and was totally blown away. What a truly special place!
A piece of heaven! Some of the prettiest most delicate pastries I’ve had. Highly recommend. Owners are lovely people themselves.
I absolutely love Artelice, but Im also grateful that it is pretty far away from my house; that way I cant ever justify driving out to Sawtelle and picking up some desserts. Otherwise Id be here almost every week grabbing something sweet for myself. These beautifully crafted desserts are from the modern French pastry shop, Artelice, where the mission is to bring amazingly crafted, high quality desserts to LA only using the best ingredients from Europe.Unfortunately (or fortunately), theres only one location - Olympic Blvd, tucked in the corner of a small plaza. We came from eating elsewhere, so we walked over, but I believe theres free parking across the street as well as street parking. The shop is pretty small; only enough room for the enticing display of desserts. There are several tables outside if you want to sit and chat while you enjoy your desserts. So my friends and I didnt know where to start. Honestly I was overwhelmed by all the desserts because everything looked so gorgeous. Theyre all lined up in a row (depending on how many are left) with a description in front of the first one. Desserts are not cheap, but I do think theyre worth the price if youre in the mood for splurging. They range from $6-8.Sophia: $6.50 - I was intrigued by the crème brulee insert, to be honest. IPumpkin macaron: $2.00 - I was taken aback because of the multi-colored glitter flecks on top of the macaron. Yep. But it was pretty tasty. Im not a big pumpkin fan, but this is definitely a unique macaron flavor that most places dont have. And the glitter on top - so beautiful! I had a hard time making myself eat it. Shells were crispy upon biting into the macaron, but it became chewy once my teeth got into the filling. Very light flavor of pumpkin that was on point. And a macaron for $2 is a steal when other places sell it for more than $3.I also got a hazelnut croissant at 50% off since they were trying to get rid of some baked goods to make room for the new items the next morning. I believe its usually around $4, but I got a really huge croissant for $2, which I was happy with. My mom ended up eating most of it the next morning, but from the little I tried, I thought it was tasty. I didnt get much hazelnut flavor, and I dont know if there was much - but I enjoyed the fluffiness of the pastry and the fact that it was pretty light and not too sweet. Some things to note - while we were deciding on what to order, we asked the worker about the macarons. She offered to let us try a few flavors and she actually gave us a whole macaron to try, saying that because macarons are cracked, theyre no longer good to sell. We were in shock because my friends and I know the worth of these desserts! So I got to try the yuzu and mint chocolate flavor as well. Both were really good and you can definitely taste the flavors of the macarons, which I appreciated.Theyve also partnered with various food delivery services so you can get desserts brought to your door if you live within the vicinity (so jealous!). There was only one worker in the storefront and she was super nice and patient as we tried to make our decisions on what to order. Several other people came in and bought desserts - one person almost bought all of the remaining Exotic, so my friend quickly claimed the last one as hers.tl;dr - Such an amazing experience if youre a fan of desserts and appreciate good presentations and beautiful artistry in food. Its so far away, which sucks, but I highly recommend stopping by!
Simply the best! My wife and I Googled this place by chance and stopped in to take a break from the 405 traffic. We got 4 different macarons and 4 different pastries, petit fours, or whatever you want to call them and they were all wonderful. Perfect presentation for items that look so complex to make. Well worth the price and the drive. Ill definitely be returning here.
Just amazing!!! Best patisserie in LA! The pastries are to die for! The owners are very kind, welcoming and humble. They have gained a loyal customer! ❤️
Everything is amazing, i havent had anything i would not gladly get again. The prices are more than fair for what you get. The staff is always friendly, easily the best place in LA for desserts.
Awesome place for getting dessert. Friendly staff! We also got some free macrons😁
This pastry shop continues to amaze me every time I come here I pre order for parties the meenys And no matter what food I serve at the partys these pastries are the highlight of the events, Great for special events or just a dinner for 2 great customer service and great prices for the quality and located in West Los Angeles Highly highly recommend you to stop in and view these beauties you will not regret it
The pastries are so cute ^-^ My favourite pastry is the one called Exotic. The inside is very yummy, it has mango and passionfruit inside. The overall atmosphere is very clean and professional. The pastries are about $7.50~$9 except for the macarons which are $2 each. They pack your pastry in a small white box unless you order more, then they pack it in this beautiful blue box. They also put some tape at the bottom of the pastries so that they dont move around too much. Anyways I am very satisfied with this place. The staff is also very friendly ^-^
This place is AMAZING!!! There are so many different flavors of macarons (17) and a bunch of savory & sweet croissants. Their macarons are perfectly balanced in taste and texture. They also use imported french butter in their croissants and you can just taste the difference. It was my first time here and everyone was so patient and kind with me.They even threw in a couple of free macarons at the end. Seriously the sweetest people! You won’t be disappointed if you stop by. Their building is currently under construction but they are OPEN. 10/10!!!
Delicious pastries that taste as good as they look. Owner/employees are friendly and very accommodating.
Beautiful pastries and really nice service! They even hooked us up with some freebies for the kids.
These are - hands down - the best pastries in the country !! The owners are very cool and welcoming. My favorite is the chocolate mousse pastry and the milk chocolate hazelnut macaroons. Must try. Amazing!
This place cant get any more praise. Im pleased that they are able to extend their store in sawtelle, and open a new one in Burbank. The croissants are great, but their cakes really take the cake. I pre-ordered a sophia cake for my dads birthday, and the touch of gold foil really caught my eye to their attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this patisserie to anyone in the area.
What at great pastry shop! Everything here is delicious! From the croissants to the beautifully crafted pastries, you cant go wrong. Dont hesitate stopping in the guys in there are super nice.
Phenomenal pâtisserie. it was hard to choose what to order
Best bakery in LA, and fair prices for once
Visited for the first time with very high expectations, which were greatly exceededCompliments to the chef!
Their pastries not only look good they taste good too. 😋🥰
The most beautiful pastries I have ever seen. So flavorful. Approved by my very picky French boyfriend.
Artelice is always the best for desserts, the owners are always very friendly and helpful. The desserts are always top notch as well. I dont know of any place that can even compare
Delicious and friendly! I love this place for their delicious savory and sweet croissants, the delectable macarons and amazing looking desserts (napoleon pastry being my favorite). Very worth checking out as it is many amazing things: unique, tasty, and aesthetically pleasing.
Trust me...its like being in Paris.
Great customer service. Great prices for French pastries. Thank you.
Go here. It’s amazing. Reasonable prices, such friendly people, and incredibly decadent and superbly made sweets.
Everything is unbelievably delicious. Just a gem of a bakery that I was very happy to find. Great ownership as well, do yourself a favor and give them a try!
Delicious and beautiful pastries; exceptional customer service! They offer parking validation.
Amazing patisserie. Flavors, textures, presentation all are spot on.
Great pastries and coffee, as well as a very-friendly staff. Recommend!
High quality croissant and great service. Definitely worth the price. Wish I discovered this place earlier!
So yummy
The best Pastry in LA
Wow, this place truly is amazing. Rarely you will find dessert that tastes as good as it looks! Layers of flavor and definitely not too sweet (in a good way). This is probably has the best dessert in Los Angeles!
Artelice is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. Their cakes and pastries are far better than any of the other famous pastry shops - like Ladurée, Lady M, Sweet Lady Jane, or the Four Seasons - in terms of quality, presentation, and customer service. The flavors are all new and creative so you won’t be having a regular eclair or Napoleon...it’ll be out of this world. The boxes they use for packaging are so pretty and elegant. And, most importantly, the owners (Said and Farid) are so professional and organized. I emailed Farid to place a large order and he immediately coordinated with Said, who knew exactly what I wanted when I came to the shop. My order was ready at noon sharp when I came to pick it up for a party. I received many comments on how delicious the pastries were so I’ll definitely be coming regularly. People were even saying that they’re too pretty to eat. I couldn’t recommend this shop enough. I wouldn’t waste my time going any where else to be honest. If I could give ten stars right now, I would.
Incredibly good. Nice guys too.
Delicious !
Among the best of Paris, except in LA!
Not many options, but whatever they have is really good. The pastries are very tasty and melts in your mouth.Recommended for gifting.
Everything is great! Sofia is my so far favorite!
GREAT.First time here ever, and the man was just lovely. I didnt think much of it, expected it to be out of my price range, but it wasnt that bad.Cakes are just perfect. Tried about three; theyre sweet, and simple but at the same time have light complexities like combined flavors. The macaroons were also great. Tried about 3 of those, and Id have to say they are way better than any Ive tried before; very soft and fluffy. Will definately visit again!
Terrific dark chocolate croissants, easy to but too much. Everything looks good
Wonderful, beautifully crafted desserts. Seem to be fresh daily, no kitchen or bathroom onsite though. A place to pick desserts to-go.
Amazing desserts! So flavourful and yummy. The croissant was so perfect and flaky! Great service as well, Highly recommend
This is the best mille-feuille in the city. You need to get it.I implore you go bring me one while you are at it.
Best desserts in LA. The Valentino is amaaaazing.
