I always come to this Cafe whenever I get the chance. The staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is cozy. The drinks are absolutely amazing. Every time I take someone here they are hesitant, but they always leave asking to be brought back. 100% recommend!
Very unique drinks in both taste and appearance (I got the buckwheat because I love roasty flavors... Pretty sure the blue color is from butterfly pea). I wouldnt call it gimmicky though because the drinks are actually super tasty and not too sweet. Boba was fresh and still warm. The only con was $$$ ($8!!!) and that our drinks became lukewarm, which was a bummer on a hot day. But we took it home, threw it in the fridge for a bit, and all was good.
You need to try this place... the mango cheesecake is amazing. You can change up the sweetness which is great if you dont like overly sweet drinks like me. Your missing out if you havent tried it yet, sounds a little strange but the cheese top is delicious. I could eat that in a cup alone
This is a super adorable cafe! I love the aesthetics of the place and the food. All the drinks are really pretty looking. I had the classic pancakes, mango in Kyoto, and boba milk tea mystique. It is a little pricey, but it is worth it because everything is so delicately done. I would come back again :)
It’s like drinking a cake 😱 yum!I ordered 50% sweetness instead of 75 and it was a perfect combo with a sweet cream top. Next time will try even lower sugar. Also, you can’t go inside, but from what I saw passing by, I love the design of the place ☺️A rewards program would be nice!
Wow!!! I love matcha and Im very particular about where I go to get it. This place is the JAM!! They have every kind of matcha you could ever imagine under the sun. Defiantly on the top of the list for suggested matcha places to try.
Fluffy defined: being light and soft or airy. Does the word pertain then to the drinks offered here? Were they in the truest sense of the word, light, soft, or airy? Lets find out.Little fluffy head is a small shop in Dtla, simply decorated with trinkets and books to read which are neatly arranged on shelves. No tables available but quite a few stools to sit on. I noticed that most customers prefer to-go orders just like I did.I had to wait longer than I thought because the two ladies (I believe the owner and employee) were busy getting a big order done plus there were several people ahead of me. No big deal though as I understand the situation.I originally wanted a Cheese foam cold brew coffee. However, I was told they were already out so I ordered a lychee cheese tea instead. No regrets though as lychee was Sweet and refreshing. The cheese foam on top of my tea was definitely not light but on the contrary, its rich and savory. Not a bad thing though as it added more flavor and texture to my tea. Its soft, airy, and smooth to the mouth. It was even creamier (as shown in one of my pics) when I got busy and let my tea sit in the counter. Pretty good drink I must say.
We decided to go this place on last weekend because of the photo of this place looked soooo cute . We ordered messy mango, ujimatcha and cremebrulee pancake . Those drinks were perfect sweet and we like how they presented of the drinks but we were not happy w cremebrulee pancake because of the texture of pancakes .the staffs were friendly and willing to answer the questions..
Real taro my life. They use genuine pureed fresh taro here. So good. I got the Taro + Matcha latte with almond milk. First of all, that is a dream team combo. Taro and matcha in one drink with customizable milk and sweetness? Soldddd. Uji matcha tasted great, not bitter even at 0% sweetness, the natural sweetness of the taro was enough to pull through tastefully! The shop interior is small but theres still a handful of tables inside and outside.
Okay, this place definitely blew my mind! I was initially going to just get the boba, but I decided to get the soufflé pancake as well and man, it was amazing! The soufflé pancake was just pure goodness! It was creamy and the flavors were just incredible! The milk tea was really good too! They added the nutellamissu mouse on top and it was amazing! They had some outdoor seatings, but it was limited, so you might have to wait a bit to get seatings.Overall, the food were amazing! Definitely would visit again
Milk tea with salted cream cheese.... I know it sounds hella weird but please give try it, just one small sip.... it is the most delicious beverage ever. I/my friends are SO addicted to it. This drink is the same as Happy Lemon in San Francisco - so glad to have found this place. At this Los Angeles location, they have 3 times of cheese: regular cream cheese topping, creme brûlée topping, and a cheddar cheese topping. I like the cream cheese as I like the saltiness with the sweetness of my milk tea. My best friend likes the cheddar cheese topping as she loves the little bits of cheese in it. My sister likes the creme brûlée one as it is sweeter. Either way, they are delicious, truly. Sounds weird, but taste amazing. Changed my life!!!
Came here at 3 on Thursday but no one here. the sign says open daily 11-7
They are supposed to be open. Walked all the way there and they were closed
I will say I did not taste the tea. Tthe space was small and the server along with other two people were crowded inside without even a mask. Now I’m off to find another place that has stricter COVID-19 regulations.
Saw this on EATER and I was curious so I had to stop by! The drinks here are definitely different and worth a try. How is it? Its Great! I can definitely tell the quality of tea here is much better than most cafes. But you HAVE to try the Cheese tea. It sounds weird at first - but it works really well. Definitely a place worthy to bring your friends
This is the best cheese foam tea in LA🤭 hawk is nice and so are the rest of the workers. Store interior is definitely a vibe too. But the price and quality of the drinks is always bomb. I’ve never tried the boba here though.
I ordered the Camouflage Creme Brulée Matcha Green Tea.The drink was very tasty, just as beautiful and super Instagram-able. 📸Upon entering the cafe I was met with a warm smile and a very helpful explanation of the menu. I politely pulled up their instagram and ordered what I had saw as a hashtag and the friendly woman behind the counter made it for me, exactly how it looked on Insta.All-in-all i had a fantastic first-time experience here and I definitely will come back with my boyfriend!🤘🍵🤘PS:Also there was a homeless woman asking for change or someone to buy her a drink, the friendly woman behind the counter actually asked her what she wanted and made it for her, free of charge. So nice of her!
A much needed quality coffee roaster and shop in this area. met up with a friend here when I was in town for the holidays. I had a cappuccino and she had one of their carbonated drinks. Both quality wise was great. Price is comparable to other micro roasters. Customer service was great there werent that many people and the coffee shop but I can see if there are too many may get a little loud. The seating arrangement was OK, wasnt the most comfortable. I didnt buy any of their beans but next time Im in town Im definitely going to get some and perhaps some merchandise.Again super excited to have quality coffee in la crescenta.
Drinks arent good. Not sure why the cheese foam is so talked about but it wasnt that great. Size small is laughable. prices are expensive. I got a large milk tea boba with cheese foam and it cost over $7! If you want a $1 off your drink you have to give them a review before getting your drink. That smacks of bribery and may be the reason for all those 4/5 star reviews. My milk tea wasnt sweet enough and had a strong bitter taste despite asking for regular sugar. The drink was subpar and the hefty price tag just makes it worse.Update: Ive included the picture of the discount for review. Owner or employee mentioned in a response that customers gave reviews prior to getting a discount. How do you retroactively give them the discount? Can I get a discount after I post a review now that Im no longer in the store?Honestly I drink boba like its coffee. No one in my group wanted the drink after taking a sip of it. That speaks for itself.
They have three different salted creams... Regular, cheddar and creme brulee. All of them are super thick and delicious! 😋I 😍 the Jasmine ginger creme brulee tea. So fragrant and comforting and creamy.Be careful.. The white chocolate and caramel pearls are just solidified balls.. Not Boba.Service is great ☺Kinda expensive
I called in my order and as soon as I said picking up, she immediately said we are really busy and backed up with order so it might take some time, which I at first appreciated for letting me know so that way I dont end up waiting for an hour.... Ordered my two drinks and she told me to take my time and come in 30 minutes, which I did and my drinks were all melted (no ice in the drink) and the guy who was working at the register told me that he couldnt make it again since it was my fault that I didnt come sooner to pick them up...
Lights were on and were listed as open on Google, but they were closed. Would have been nice to know before getting there
My absolute go to is the Jasmine Green Tea with the Cheesecake Foam. Yum! It hits the spot every time. Not too sweet and the tea is so refreshing. It tastes like 85’s sea salt jasmine green tea drink but stronger flavors and purer tasting, in my opinion. And the service is always so spot-on: welcoming and quick to take your order and making it as delicious as possible. It’s my temptation everyday at work.
Came here after dinner on a Saturday night.I had the iced green tea with 25% sugar. The girl working the register and making the drinks all by herself was very friendly.Ill definitely be back for the green tea!
Ive had bubble tea here twice (milk tea and and bubble milk) and its great. Its nice that you can add two toppings split half-and-half. I loved the mango stars. The lychee mojito is also very good.
IT WAS REALLY GOOD. The price is really affordable and The places around there are good too! Its a fun date idea and I would definitely go back. I recommend the Dirty Mess of its your first time going! :^)
The tea description is misleading. It is very good tea, with an interesting twist that anyone who likes tea should not be hesitant try. Good prices as well, and super friendly staff.
This is a place with great drinks but its only meant to order and go. Theres some seating while you wait but its not a place to hang out with friends. So if youre in the mood for a nice tea while youre on your way somewhere, this is the spot.
Hidden gem in the Honda Plaza of Little Tokyo! The soft serve comes in only one size and only one flavor (makes ordering that much easier). Great subtle matcha flavor, not artificial tasting at all, with a smooth and creamy texture. Safe to say this is the best matcha soft serve I have ever had in CA !Highly recommended if you are in the area.
When I came to the store I was the only customer and then two more people entered. It took a really long time for my drink to be prepared and the drinks were also really pricey. My drink was around $8-$9 which I think is not that reasonable. The drink wasnt anything special either, tasted like any kind of cheese foam team that I had before. Also the location of the store is kind of a turn off, I saw a bunch of cockroaches while walking to the store and low key scared to return.
A cute, friendly Bubble Tea shop! I am not a Bubble Tea expert, but this was very very tasty. I had Pineapple Fruit Tea, made with Green Tea and Mango Stars.
So good. Would definitely recommend. Probably the best cheese foam place in downtown la. The seating area is extremely small though.
Love the texture of the topping, which is literally fluffy. Easy to find and the staff here is super friendly. Just stop by, grab a drink and enjoy.
Such a great place with positive vibes, nice people, and tasty Boba! Cant wait to come back
The medium oolong tea was good and bubbles are also nice but the 50% sweetness was bit sweeter than i expected.
We have a blue bottle coffee in downtown CA, when I moved to the bay I definitely still needed my fix. I stop in about once a week, and Im never let down!
The drinks are very well made. Silky smooth. Parking is always questionable. I always use the automated parking lot that is right around the corner. 3 bucks for 30 mins. However during the last visit I was met with an attendant who was asking for payment even though theres clear signage stating do not pay attendant. I just ignored the dude, paid the machine then went on my way while yet again I was met with an attendant whom was now trying to sell me an umbrella. Ignored again. So I got my fluffy matcha goodness and got back to my car. Nothing sketchy happened overall but this is the LA stuff you gotta deal with.
Great tea flavor in a cozy place. Service is very friendly and I liked their togo cup which is securespill proof!
My favorite tea place! The cheese tea is delicious but they have other options as well. I really recommend this place (:
Enjoyed this experience. Staff very helpful on making you aware the drinks etc. Nice DTLA location.
There cream cheese foam was amazing it was different all I can say is youll never taste something like that any where else. If your looking for a different kind of coffee that doesnt feel generic then try little fluffy.
Got the oreo drink, loved it. It was creamy and sweet.
Its a small little boba shop with a fun name. Came by here to give it a try and its actually pretty good. It was actually one of the few places that offered the cream top boba tea drinks, before the trend caught on and became all the norm and rage at every boba shop. They have some fun flavors, which ends up being sugar coma but hey thats what makes it delicious. It was a very unique drink setting, and if parking was easier Id be here more often. Unfortunately its not an easy place to get to via car.
I really like Little Fluffy Head Cafe. I dont normally drink coffee but I will make exception for Bluebottle. Its just so darn tasty.
Super friendly staff. The cheese tea is delicous but make sure to mix it a little otherwise all the rich cheese tea is left for your last few sips.
Great drinks and all but the cheese foam was a bit heavy for my tastes. I think they either have to make it less dense/heavy and/or put a little less. Other than that, good find albeit a bit pricey and basically no parking (but its LA lol).
Im not a tea person but the rose and lychee tea top with the delicious creme cheese, are making me addicted to this place. I love it!!
Yum! Great sweet drinks. Parking is hard to find. Small space so its more of a to-go place although they do have 3 tables and a few chairs.
Strictly iced tea. If you spend money on trips to Starbucks or Coffee Bean, then you wont mind the prices here, which are not inexpensive, but, it will be the best iced tea, and the most unusual, in a great way, that you have ever had!!! (For example, a cream cheese topping, try it, its Fab!)
Chedda Matcha tea was delicious!
The tea was good but too much cheese for me and not enough tea . The area wasn’t the best and not enough parking but overall the drink was delicious, just ask them not to put a lot of cheese. (The cheese is sweet )
Good bubble tea. Plenty of seating. Friendly service. Vegan options!
Everything was great and fresh. Kung pao chicken is perfect balance of heat and flavor.
Got the cheese foam cold brew - super tasty & different!
Drinks are incredibly delicious!! The service was also great! Dont hesitate to try this tea shop!
Hands down best creamy boba Ive ever tried❤️
The drinks are so nasty
Visited on the 25th.. For the first time and i have to say i am very satisfied with the manager being very helpful and patient while introducing the cafe to me.Im in love with Dirty mess cant go wrong!! With a good recommendation.would like thank sochi.. Very good customer service.
So good. As if boba wasnt good enough!
A bit pricey but they offer some pretty good stuff!Matcha w/Coconut Creme=YUM! The matcha flavor isn’t too strong because you can taste the yummy goodness of that coconut milk! Def worth a try!Jasmine green w/ fluffy cheesecake foam: similar to happy lemon’s but this foam is thick and really does like cheesecake!! Drink this thru the cup and sip to get both the foam and tea in a single swig.25% sweetness for both our drinks were perfection.Nice staff too.Felt seating was cute but they need a little tlc by a steam cleaner or something lol
Most decadent and creamy drink Ive ever had. Sublime.
So, its weird. Its cheese on tea. But like cream cheese. Whipped. Its heavy, very filling, esp the more desserty strawberry thing I had. Tasty, weird, but good, but weird. And I couldnt finish it. Man had an osmanthus oolong that was good. But had cheese on top. Weird. But, fun.The small sitting area is cute, it was busy with people coming and going while we visited but they do have so cool bizarre magazines that I thoroughly enjoyed.Staff were super nice, other customers friendly, and dogs stopping in were super social.
Sooo delicious!Dirty mess with cream brûlée so good
TL;DR - Poor execution & service make the product taste just okay.Went in on a Sunday afternoon. From the get-go, the atmosphere seemed off. Dimmed lights and no music on. The cashier had fresh bruises on his face. A customer said the barista forgot boba in his drink, and she had taken that order. Whatever, we got to the counter and ordered our fluffy teas. There were only two employees and there were a good amount of customers, so a wait is expected. Alas, the employees had no sense of urgency, hustle or synergy whatsoever. They also ran out of cup holders for the woman in front of us and made one of her drinks wrong.Where it got really bad was when the people that ordered after us received their drinks with ours nowhere in sight. After a good 25 minutes total, the cashier looked at us and asked if weve been helped yet. Helped yet? We already ordered! He had completely FORGOTTEN about our drinks despite a drink ticket being printed out at some point. While this transpired, the 2nd group after us received their drinks with smiles. They finally made our drinks and we said thanks and walked out. At that point the experience was so awkward and frustrating we didnt really consider whether the drink tasted better than the other tea shops around. They just tasted alright. And thats about it. Try at your own risk.
I had the jasmine tea and it was delicious. A must try in DTLA.
The strawberry cheese tea is the best
Camouflage 25% sweetness, IS DELICIOUS OMG
Not my favorite BB location. Its behind the Mint, so coming from Market St., you have to go walk around the CA Mint building for a bit before you get a glimpse of if. Because of this, the location can be a bit sketch in the early mornings. The baristas are also not as friendly but hey, not there to make pals.
Its a nice cute shop but its way too expensive, the medium size is $6 when at other places its $5 for a large
Very tasty! The cream on the top was amazing!
Love the fluffy part. Yummy
The dirty mess is so good and I came all the way from Florida to try it!
I had the matcha one and puke myself so bad after...
Delicious delicious adorable little shop
Great place, love the unique cream topping on the drinks.
My 1st experience, I ordered the dirty mess, and it was delicious, also service was friendly and fast! Ill definitely be going back!
Great drinks and the girl working was super nice
The mocha fluffy head is awesome sauce
Drinks were amazing.
Amazing cheese tea with boba
Good and a little different.
Heaven. The rose tea is super bomb!
They always run out of everything!!!
New concept fun flavors
Parking is impossible
