Ron has helped me with two different vehicles and has always done a great job! I do not know a lot about cars at all and I have been able to rely on Ron to tell me the truth about what is going on. Most recently my sonata was getting new tires and an alignment at big o. They wouldn’t do the alignment because they said tire rod was going out. I took it to Tech 100 and it turns out it was just a bolt that was loose. Ron is the owner. He is an amazing dude. He has done a lot of work on my old gmc 1998 truck. Such as the Intake manifold, catalytic converter, and some sensors. He also does my required maintenance every 3000 miles now! I’m really glad I found him, his prices are fair. He guaranteed his work and the truck runs better then when I bought it. Originally took my car there after Saturn shut down. I find him very honest and he will tell you if something needs to be done immediately or if it can wait for awhile. He and his son get things done very quickly and he doesnt overcharge. Fair and Honest works for me.

And other than major repairs Im usually in and out pretty quickly as well.Today he took care of my emissions test and registration and applied my new stickers on the spot. You will see the word honest in a lot in the reviews for Tech 100 and rightfully so. Ron has always been very straightforward and forthright with any repairs that he felt we did (and didnt) need. Even after moving away from Layton, we continue to use him as our only mechanic.

Ron looked over our car at my request. We had been in Italy for 3 years with essentially no maintenance, and I was concerned that, at 136,000 miles suspension and steering components might need attention. He and Lloyd gave the vehicle a thorough going-over, and pronounced everything shipshape. No charge. What a pleasant change from shops who seem to “find” needed repairs when no work is required. I’ll be back for sure, and recommend this shop to neighbors and friends.

On New Years Day I was driving to school in Idaho when I stopped off for some food. When I came out all my coolant was in a puddle under my car. I started calling all the mechanics in the area and Rob was the only one who picked up. I went to Tech 100 and he got it checked out. A part was needed, and by noon of today (1/02) I was on the road in my fixed vehicle. The price was very fair, and the service was very personable (not to mention very fast!). Rob is a great guy who is focused on fixing your problem, and about you as well. He had me text him when I arrived at my destination to make sure the car ran well after that long drive. I will definitely be recommending!

Was very honest told him while the front of the engine was open to change timing gears and chins he contacted me and let me know their was nothing wrong with the timing chain or gears it would bd a waste of money to replace them. When I picked my truck up he showed me all thd bad parts that needed replaced. I will definitely go back when i need more auto work done. Would also recomend any body needing mechanic work done to go to Tech 100 Inc.

I decided to give Ron a try, and I can tell you without a doubt; for those in the Layton/Clearfield/Ogden/Farmington area, this is that shop. So I had a radiator leak on my Acura TL 4 months ago and realized it was leaking again. I took it back to the shop and they said it was going to be no charge to me. Tech100 is all about customer service and taking care of their customers. Will refer them to all my friends and family.
