I dropped my BMW off to fix the brakes and rotors. Brian called a few hours later to let me know the shimmy was coming from bad control arm. He had enough integrity to not but on the brakes and rotors because they were still good. Let me know that before doing the work and saving me the money. This shop fixed all the problems with my car in a professional way, with great service and price. I highly recommend this shop for repairs.

My BMW X3 was needing a couple engine gaskets replaced so I dropped my car off before leaving for an out of town trip to let them take care of it. When I returned my X3 was ready and I am very pleased with the service I received. Brian at Import Auto was upfront and personal. His professionalism and obvious mechanical knowledge and shop-know-how helped my experience in dealing with some difficult decisions for my VW. He was kind and honest from the beginning on a lengthy phone call with lists of questions, to in and out the door with three separate repairs. I recommend dealing with Brian at Import Auto Clinic because his quotes were direct, accurate, and honest and he treats you as an equal. The auto-work was done very timely, and he personally called me on any concerns, questions, and possible delays.

This is my main auto car place in Layton as they do good work for reasonable prices. They do get behind at times so plan accordingly with another method of transportation. Prices seem reasonable for work given and they sometimes leave the plastic in the car, but usually same cleanliness as you dropped it off in. It is not easy to see the location at times from the road. It is worth giving them a call and get a quote if you need work done on your vehicle. They also do on the spot renewal with a $8 fee for the sticker.

Our Subaru’s dash lights suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree. Our usual shop said they thought it was a bad battery. This didn’t feel right, so after some research I brought it in to Import Clinic. They made a better diagnosis without even seeing the car. They got to it fast and fixed the problem at a fair price. I will definitely be back!

Ive been going here for years now. Even when there are other places that offer lower prices, I always go with these guys. They always get the job done quickly (usually always within a day) and will never do more than what is necessary without your permission. The best auto clinic in the valley.

I was looking for a place to take my mothers Volvo and someone at jiffy lube recommended Import Auto. I met Craig and was very impressed with his knowledge and energy. They did an excellent job keeping her car running like new. I’ve taken my Buick in over the years and now my grandson and my granddaughter both take their vehicles in to Brian and we will all continue to do so. My exhusband I taking his truck in too. The pricing is fair the timing is quick and the work speaks for itself. I highly recommend them to everyone all the time. They are all knowledgeable professional and personable.

I went to Import Auto clinic as they were recommended by Stillen to do the install of their supercharger kit on my Q50. I had made some customization to the base kit which made the install a bit more complex, but they did a great job on the install.There were a couple of lines that I had to tie down to prevent rubbing, but overall the work was done expertly, and components were installed in locations that were practical, easy to access for maintenance, and even aesthetically pleasing.Four stars for the couple of rubbing lines and as their rate was a little higher than I would have liked (though not unreasonable), and Ill be recommending them to Nissan enthusiasts needing work done.

So weve brought our BMW and Mercedes to IAC and been somewhat satisfied. This review is also coming from my perspective as the wife who just has to come drop off the car with the husband, telling me about the issues. All the times weve come the quoted price has not been what we actually paid. There has always been, maintenance took a little longer then what was expected...but we have you our discount so the extra youre paying is still discounted. Please just call if thats the case, keeping the customer in the know. Im also slightly disappointed because I recommended a friend to this place because its hard pressed to find an import service to aid in not paying paying dealership prices. She also had a not so great experience and left a review and got a calll back from the owner after her review, because of a quote disparity and some other issues. I felt embarrassed that, with the exception of having to take the Mercedes back three times for an oil leak issue, the work weve done was pretty decent. Makes me sad that were placed between a rock and a hard place when it comes to vehicle maintenance, you expect what youre quoted and think if anything changes occur youd be updated. Customers have to pay because they need there cars so the customer is always left with a double edge sword, hoping the maintenance is done efficiently and will be charged fairly. Have to say that hasnt been the case with this place as often as I see with the few reviews that are so awesome. Hope my car doesnt leak anymore oil.

Import Auto Clinic has above exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond and got me taken care of. My BMW had a check engine light on that was reading a communication error. They charged me 89 to do the diagnosis which let me remind you that is $111.00 cheaper then the previous shops quoted me. It turned out what was needed was updated programming in my transmission. Import Auto Clinic doesnt do programming so instead of giving the car back and having me find a place they found a place, took my car there, and got the programming updated. They called me and let me know it was ready and I picked it up at their shop. They even waived the diagnosis fee because they couldnt perform the fix at their shop. The fix cost me $150.00 when initially I was planning on spending more than that! I highly recommend. You will definitely get taken care of!

As a first-time owner of a BMW I quickly discovered that not all shops understand these cars and repairs can be very costly. A friend of mine who has been in the auto industry for years highly recommended Import Auto and now I know why. Import Auto is a high quality, very competent repair shop who were professional, fair and honest with me. They also repaired my vehicle quickly and very feasibly and went above and beyond, as my circumstances were somewhat unusual. Ive always felt the need for a trusted mechanic/shop for my car and buying a BMW forced me to change from my long-time mechanic shop, which was concerning to me. With Import Auto I am no longer concerned, I fully trust them.

I had been looking for an alternative to the dealer to service my new to me Jaguar XJ. Import Auto Clinic came up and was reasonably close so I gave them a call. I had some questions and Brian was able to put my mind at ease, he advised me that the oil change I needed could be done while I wait.I came in at the appointment time and they took the car back, but discovered it called for a very specific specification of oil, that they didnt happen to have on the shelf. Brian informed me that they would order the correct oil, but I could either wait or come back. WOW! I was so impressed that someone would care enough to do the job correctly, instead of easily, I gladly booked the appointment to bring the car back the next day.When I arrived the next day, they changed the oil and performed the service as had been discussed, they even gave me a modest discount for the hassle of doing the job right. LOLThey are my new go to shop, I do a lot of stuff myself on my cars, but there are some things best left to the pros! (I know an oil change is easy, but resetting the stupid service indicator without the tool, doesnt happen.)I dropped off my 2006 Audi A6, with a 180,000 miles on it. When you start it the dashboard looks like a Christmas Tree! I know they will get to the bottom of it, and treat me fair. What else can you ask for? I’ve gotten a head gasket and a clutch done by these guys over the last 6 months. They know their stuff when it comes to nissans/Infiniti’s. I’ll be taking my car here for a long time. They’re super nice and communicate everything you need to know, answer all your questions and do it in a timely manner. So glad I found this shop. If you have a Z or a Infiniti G don’t take it anywhere else.
