B&R does good work at a reasonable price - and fast. In just under an hour they were able to do a full alignment on my 06 Honda CRV with 240k miles on the odometer. I recently replaced all my lower control arms myself so things were definitely out of alignment and the shop was able to pull everything back in.

NOT HONEST. We had a radiator replaced, when all was said and done, the put on old hoses that may have already been cracked from before. after the fact it probably was just a cracked hose and not a radiator that needed fixing. We ended up having to replace the hoses ourselves. which should have been done when they did the work we paid for.

One of the few mechanic shops Id trust. The people in their are honest and great people, they always give me amazing prices, and are very easy to work with. Definitely a great experience so far, and Id definitely say they are worth a visit.

Jeremy is the best mechanic in the Layton area. Ive been using his shop to do work for me for the past 8-10 years. He is always honest, and fair as he can be without handing out money. You wont regret having him, or his guys take a look at your car/ truck. Just remember he is honest, and almost always has a wait to get a bigger project up on his lifts. Hes well worth the wait.

The best auto shop in Davis county. These guys came to my home and ran the test from my driveway, what auto shop do you know that offers that amazing customer assistance?!! Plus they wont trick you into doing something you dont need. I thought I was going to have to drop $900 on a new starter and they got me in and out for under $10. Cant say enough good things about these guys.

Brought in a used truck for a general inspection, did at no charge and gave me all the items that needed addressing. Followed up with having my wifes car serviced there and they did the job on point and under budget. My wifes family has their vehicles serviced there all the time. The most trustworthy place. I’m so glad we finally found a mechanic we can trust. Jeremy is simply the best! We were lucky that a person from our local Autozone recommended him.Keep in mind this place is always full so plan your time accordingly. If you are looking for a “quick fix” this is probably not the place for you, if you want to know what is wrong with your vehicle and how much it will be to repair it, you are at the right place. Prices are fair and you won’t be charged for anything that doesn’t really need to be repaired/replaced.

Wouldnt have normally gone to a unknown place like this but Discount tire messed up my wheel lug and B&R is who they send people to in those situations. They got the job done but customer service was lacking.

Have been coming here for a few years. Here is the difference with this shop, they have never asked me for a review. A couple years ago I went to their competition where I get offered discounts and get constant reminders to leave a review. B&R focuses on getting your car fixed right. Always fair pricing.

These guys are great to work with. I had them redo my breaks and the next day they started making a sound, I took my car back in, they told me they guarantee their work and they took care of the problem right then. They ended up replacing the bad part at no charge. Its nice to have a mechanic you can trust.

My car problem was unusual and it did take quite some time to get it fixed, but this was mainly because the parts needed were on back order. Rides took care of us and even provided a loaner the entire time our car was out of commission. They do great work and I highly recommend them for any car repair needs and for any interval services. My brother has gotten his car worked on there and says he loves the place.Every time I have gone here when it is open the parking lot is almost always full. Ive been to B&R Rides a few times with my car. Once for an oil change and also for car inspections. They do great work and the personnel there are honest. The only problem is they are so good their customers overwhelm them and it is hard to get in because they are so busy.

Ive taken my vehicles here for emissions/inspections after a dealer tried to gouge me with $1500 in repairs after one of their inspection deals, I did most of the repairs myself for less than $200. I hadnt had any repair work done at Rides until my in-laws came into town to watch our son during a weekend get-away for me and my wife and they were having some brake problems. I told them to take it to Rides. They fixed the issue on short notice for a reasonable price and picked him up when it was done. Excellent!

Ask them to program a key for me.He told me to send a picture and he would get back to me..He never called back!!

If customer service is important to you, this is the place to go! I have always left the shop feeling like I owed THEM something more. Most recently, I had my truck inspected here. As I walked out to leave, they were replacing a brake light bulb. No charge. Not even a mention of it. They just took care of it so that I would pass my inspection and could focus on my busy life. Im a mechanic. These are the guys I trust with jobs Im not ready to tackle on my own.

These guys lost my contact information. When I called them to see what was wrong with the car they treated me like I was stupid. Did not listen to anything I said to them. Asked if they took it for a drive to see if it would die they said no. Asked them if they would got a call today they said they drove it all around it ran fine asked me to drive it with one of them in it to see if it was how I drive. I thought about it when I went in I did not feel comfortable with driving my car with a guy I did not know if it died. I took my car home Im at the most 10 minutes away. My car died back to square one. Maybe if the guys would have listened to me and not treated me like I was a stupid girl mybe they would have fixed it. These guys come very highly recommend to be. I have continuously gone to B&R since my first visit, they have given me amazing prices, and all around quality work. Would, and have recommended to everyone in need of a good mechanic, DJ always finds time to schedule me in, and is always able to help me out.

They didnt finish my car the day they were supposed to, then my oil cap fell off shortly after leaving there. Explained that to them when I brought the car back in but they still felt the need to do 500 dollars worth of repairs just to have my engine seize up 20 miles down the road. DO NOT GO HERE

I didnt have my car worked on here but I did buy a car from the lead tech. He had me meet at the shop to conduct business. His name is Lemual. Not sure if he works here still or not. And buying a used car can be a good experience or a horrible one. Well I thought I had a good one. It ultimately was my fault for not looking at the car better and asking questions. The car had been totaled and he didnt mention that at all. Painted over rusting metal that showed very soon after I bought it. Engine mount had a stripped bolt that looks like he tried to rtv or glue it in. Ended up sheering off. He told me he just replaced them. He wasnt very friendly or helpful after I tried finding out what had happened to the car. Basically he was dishonest in my opinion. I wouldnt take my car here if thats the kinda people they hire here. Good luck of you do!And this is a response to the owner. Lemual had me meet at the shop to conduct business. He was or still is the lead tech at your shop. To me that reflects very poorly on your business. People should know you hire people who do shady work. Maybe dont let him conduct private business matters at your shop.

I just bought a car from them and things went smoothly. Jeremy said one motor mount was not in the best shape. He said if I would buy the motor mount, he would install it free of charge. Most shops now days will not go to these measures to have a happy customer.

At age 16 I purchased my first car and had quite a few bad experiences early on with shady shops/mechanics. I developed a trust issue with auto service industry and learned that if I wanted something done right I had to educate myself on how to do it properly and do the work myself. Also, I like getting my hands dirty.Fast forward 16 years later, I was recently faced with an issue on my vehicle regarding a factory fitted steel brake line that had been cut that traversed from master cylinder to ABS to rear brakes. The cut was in a place that was very inconvenient and required evacuation of AC refrigerant and removal of AC lines in order to get at the brake line and repair properly.Given the effort required with the task and the fact that I no longer had patience or time in my tight schedule (4 kids and full time job), I decided time had come to hire the work out.I had purchased a vehicle from B&R Rides in the past. Seemed straight forward and no BS. Vehicle was fine. In addition I have acquaintances that in the past that personally had work performed by B&R Rides and recommended their services and mentioned names specifically (DJ).After reading reviews (hadnt seen a bad one yet), and calling B&R Rides and speaking with DJ. He was confident they could make the repair in a reasonable amount of time. So, I had my vehicle towed to them.Overall, DJ was my point of contact and he was great at communicating the status.In the end, they replaced the entire brake line with a recovered one from a scrap yard to save cost, bled the brakes, found a leak in my schrader valve on the low pressure AC line and replaced no charge, and recharged my AC all in a short amount of time and at a very reasonable price.This was definitely a positive experience and should I feel I need to hire out any additional work on any of my vehicles, I will definitely trust B&R Rides to take care of it.You have a car issue or needing maintenance? Ill tell you this right now.. Call up B&R Rides. Theyll fix ya up right with no BS.
