I’ve used Sears for at least 15 years for basic maintenance. They used to be pretty good but today I tried to schedule an oil change in Kennesaw GA and it was a complete disaster. I called the local store but could not reach an operator like I used to. I went online but the scheduling service would not allow me to select a date or time (kept saying it was unavailable all the way through July). I tried calling again and after getting the runaround finally spoke to someone in California about appliances... it’s completely frustrating. No wonder they are going out of business.
Tried to upsale me. I purchased roadside warranty with my tires and they tried to tell me they could not order the same tire, but a more expensive one. I purchased from another establishment.
Arrived Friday October 5 at 1pm to get oil change and tires rotated/balanced. Was told I could leave the vehicle and they might get it done by the end of the day due to only 2 service techs working, each working on a car. Nobody else ahead of me. Maybe 20 empty bays. I did not want to wait 5 or 6 hours on a might get to it, so I left.Arrived Sunday at 1pm. Same story, but only 1 service tech working and nobody ahead of me.I have been a Sears auto customer for 20 years buying tires, shocks, batteries and getting oil changes. The lack of service techs has been on going for months.Ive had enough! Time to take my business elsewhere. No wonder Sears has been closing auto centers and stores.
Ive had great experiences at Sears, both here and in FL, with them saving me $ and doing good work. Most of the complaints Ive seen are due to waiting, but you can avoid being impatient by dropping off your car and not planning to come back until they call and say its ready. Give any shop time to thoroughly check the car and do the work. My father owned a car business and there were cars lined up in the morning, and coming in all day. I respect how busy they can be.
Avoid this place at all costs. I made a 10am appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced this morning, 10/14/19. I get up here, at 10am, and Im told they cant even look at my car until 2pm. Online appointments are meaningless; apparently you have to call ahead to check if they can even see you. Makes sense why theyre all going out of business.
EXCELLENT customer service from technicians Mike and Andrew. TRULY cared about quality of the work done and finding options/solutions to meet your budget. Surpassed my expectations and will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!
I called a week in advance to make an appointment for a simple tire rotation. I showed up and waited over 10 minutes before somebody came and helped me. He really seemed like I unconvinced him. He checked my car and then looked at his watch and told me I was late. I was 5 minutes earlier than the time I had scheduled. He then said they were really busy and would do his best to get me in, but that it would be at least 90 minutes! Really!!! To switch the tires around! Absolutely ridiculous. Sorry I bothered to give you my business. I don’t think having an appointment made any difference other than I knew I would wasting my time.
I spoke to Jim and he was very helpful and explained things well. I didn’t feel taken advantage of, being a woman and going into getting your car repaired you never know if you are getting the truth. I will return as long as Jim is there.
Very very poor customer service and communication. I was one of the first customers to arrive at the store. I signed my service order at 10:15 am, at which time I was told to return in a couple of hours. I returned at 2:15, only to be told that they had only 1 employee servicing vehicles. And the reason for the delay in servicing my vehicle was because they had prior appointments such as oil changes. I could have made an appointment as well, but I was told there was no need to just walk in. Let me remind you, this is a Friday. I expressed to them that I had driven 1 hour and 30 minutes. There is no way I should have been waiting for “4 hours”! I had to leave with new tires only, which they rushed to do because I needed to drive another 1 hour and 30 to pick up my child from school. All in all because if their poor customer service, I left there without an alignment, brakes, brake fluid and oil change. Do better Sears Tire Service Department @kennesaw location. Not to mention I told the lady that I didn’t want to drive from there with no brakes, her response “You drove here with no brakes”. I was floored that something like that would come out her mouth. To add insult to injury, they order parts from AutoZone. This is not okay, especially when you think about their prices.
Not sure who the manager here is, but this location has by far the worst customer I’ve ever experienced for an oil change. I have a company vehicle and the guy that checked me in was condescending and very rude. Was unclear as to what information he wanted from me in order for my company to pay for the service and set out to act as if this was the last place on earth he wanted to be. Word of advise, hire somebody with better customer service and who wants to their job. Will never come back here or go to sears anymore because of this experience. Will go back to Firestone.
Very poor customer service. Believe the staff here are racist, I came in for a routine maintenance check for my vehicle that is covered by a company that clearly list them as one of the service providers and there is an uneducated, incompetent staff member who claims he doesn’t have a clue how to bill them. Never will I come here again and if you’re aren’t a fan of 1 star service then I suggest you don’t either
Worst place for an oil change. They took 3 hours for putting some oil in the car and they messed up with conventional and full synthetic. Paid for synthetic online but got conventional instead. Then took another hour to change the oil out. Terrible,
Extremely sad that the Auto is going out of business. I loved the Auto Center
People are nice but they dont work fast. Even if you tell them that you are on a time scale. They did a good job on my car but got done early and didnt tell me and I told them I was kind of in a rush.
Always seem to be pretty quick for me. Best to go early in the day. I think by lunchtime they get pretty busy. Great customer service. Best Sears Auto Center in the area. Had worst experience at Cumberland location, Kennesaw makes up for it.
I have been coming to this location for years and never had a problem. I have seen managers come and go but my cars are always taken care of in a timely fashion. Unlike other places Im glad they do not rush to getting my car done.
Listen Linda these people@ the Auto center is the best i have went to in 3 states! Yes 3...FL, GA& AL ! No offense to the other ppl but they held me up! With in 1hr my car was ready & that was walk-in time! Bet! Thank you Sears Kenesaw GA Auto!
Very competitive pricing on services
Ordered tires online. They were shipped to the store. Installation was on time. The alignment Id paid for was refunded as the car was within spec. Happy to get great service at Sears!
I came in a few weeks ago, they were very busy. I had a vibration and wanted a general check of my truck. I thought it was just a tire balance. The guys found my problem showed me the parts in question and gave me a far estimate for the repair. It took a bit longer than I thought it should, but it was done right.I have since brought my daughters car in for service with good results. They put tires on it and checked the alignment which was in spec so they didnt charge me. I will return for service but will make an appointment next time because they seem to be short handed.
This place is literally a shitshow. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANYWHERE. I made an appointment online for 3pm later the same day through their website and scheduling system. I came in and told the guy I had an appointment at 3 for an oil change and he told me to pull my car into the service area. I did this and as I get out he tells me he called earlier (I didnt have any voicemails, but I did have one missed call from an unknown number) and they dont take same day appointments and I would be treated like a walk in with the wait being 2 1/2 hours. When I asked why i was allowed to schedule an appointment on THEIR website for the same day they didnt have an answer and just shrugged it off. I wasted my entire day waiting on this appointment only to show up and then tell me it was pointless. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I could have made an appointment elsewhere and had this done earlier in the day. I will NEVER go back there and I will tell every single person that asks to not go there. Their customer service is NONEXISTENT.
Got a good deal on Groupon for a 6 month Alingment. Probably will not go back. They kept the car on for hour and half, yes it wasnt even a busy day and still took hour and half to do alingment, and then told me the battery has died and I should get one. They showed me a slip with the result of the battery check, it was 283 out of 700. I didnt buy it from them. I went to Advance Auto, they checked my battery and it showed 483. They told me I dont need a new battery. Not happy, Sears.
I went in for an alignment service - they didnt fix it after three attempts! They couldnt get the toe angle correct, nor did they find the worn-out tie rod end on the left side. They invited me to bring it back, but if their technicians are incompetent or simply dont care, why would I bring my vehicle in for a fourth time?I went to Tires Plus in Woodstock, and they fixed it in several hours, and only needed one try.
I got an oil change at Sears well.....I must say the sales person was very professional and friendly. The service was quick....thanks sears
Dropped a car off for alignment at 11:30... was told it wouldnt be ready until 6 because there was one care ahead of me getting brakes pads and allignment, okay whatever show up at 6 on the dot and Im still sitting here passed 6:10. That is pathetic turn around. @Mark Brown, i already called corporate and your managers terrible customer service and rude attitude has saved me the mistake of ever spending another dollar at a sears store. Save me the number im not interested. I also saw your description of an allignment taking between 30 minutes and 2 hours, not 7. Your buisness is failing by your own standards, the sears standard is failure. The only reason i went in was because my girlfriend said the manager was so creepy she was afraid to go back in by herself only for hin to be a total assholr ans tell me if it wasnt grtring done fast enough that i should come do it myself! If thats how you run a buisness mark i have no interest in talking to you or anyone at sears ever again.
Set appointment but waited 45 min to be seen, then another 2 hours only for them to tell me they didnt have a replacement tire like the initially thought.
SEARS AND SEARS AUTO CENTER IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED DOWN
There are four idiots here and one customer and I am second in line. I have been waiting for an hour and a half and they still have not gotten to me. I am now walking out very upset with an hour-and-a-half wasted and the place is empty
Customer service doesnt exist at this locationApparently these guys dont understand what an appointment isIf you make an appointment at 4:00pmI show up an hour early to drop off my car and be courteousDude looks at me like Im inconviencing him and says they dont take cars after 3:00pmI tell him I have an appointment at 4:00pmHe point at a dry erase board and says all appointments are up thereI told him I have an email proving I made the appointmentHe looks at me and breathes heavily and rolls his eyes and continues to say uhh we can take your car keys but I cant garuntee we will even get to your car before we close.I look at the guy in disbelief and ask him what was the point of forcing me to make an specific appointment online near in mind they dont take walk ins whatsoeverSo I got in may car and left and will never return and HIGHLY recommend everyone to avoid this place at all costsPrices are rediculously high and the customer service is garbageI had a Groupon for a 45 dollar full synthetic oil changeIll take the loss on that oneDo NOT let these people touch your vehicles
The costumer service here has a lot of improving to do, I brought my car to replace the front wheel brake pads a few weeks later I came back because the front wheel brake pads were making noises, probably because of the poor quality of the pads. Im not satisfy with their service at all.I
Worst customer service!! No wonder stores are closing. Just took my car in for an oil change and was told it couldnt happen because it was only 1 Tech and he was putting tires on a car. It was going to take an hour and a half for him to finish. Then customer service representative disconnected call when I phoned in to file a complaint.
I purchase a bad diehard battery I found out they sell use diehard batteryBad customer service and manager
Were very friendly and quick to do the repairs.
They were very helpful
Go elsewhere.Terrible service deceitful staff.
Really awful customer service, but I found great deals on my car service
Horrible service made an appointment waited over an hour and my vehicle was never service. I just took my vehicle somewhere else for my oil change. Been here a few times because I am new in town but the manager has horrible customer service. The last few times I been here for oil change it took over an hour or longer even with an appointment
Bought a test light from sear tool department. Light bulb blown. They said they could not order one. They want me to buy another test light just like that one.give me a break.
Great service, amazing customer service
Ok
