In my world so much is about customer service. My Toyota was towed there on Monday. They were awesome. Kept me updated on everything they did. I never once had to call them. They never left me hanging. They are super professional, nice and above all, HONEST. They had to make a decision, which would be difficult for any business owner, and tell me whatever was wrong was above their pay grade. This was on Tuesday. Unfortunately I had to have it towed again, this time to Toyota. Toyota so far has been a horrible experience as they dont keep you updated and I dont want to keep bothering them so for 1.5 DAYS I have been left hanging. Finally get a text last night that the should know something today (Thursday)ππΌThank you Mike the Mechanic, namely Joe for understanding how stressful it is when a car is not driveable and taking the liberty, without asking, to keep the car owner updated. AND thank you for your honesty. Although unable to fix, I found a new mechanic β₯οΈ
Needed to have my passenger side mirror replaced. Had the part, and just needed the labor. They quoted me a great price, and the service was outstanding. David had me in and out of the shop within 20 minutes. He was very professional, and courteous. I highly recommend their services.
We just started going to these guys about a year ago after going to Firestone for the 12 years prior. They have always been very friendly and forthright. I recently brought my sons Jeep in to do an inspection; they pointed out a LOT of things wrong with the Jeep, but instead of driving right into a sales pitch, they pointed out everything, even let me take pictures of everything, and actually said they would prefer to not touch the problems because they may cause more problems.Props to these guys for being honest and not just trying to sell me more service. This is my new mechanic.
Good folks. The do what they say, when they say. They are fair and the work is quality.
I canβt say enough good things about Brian and his team. These are some of, if not the best, mechanics around. And they are great guys as well. Honest dependable and friendly as well. Between my personal cars, companyβs work vehicles, and co workers who bring their cars in, MTM has worked on about 15 cars, and has done excellent work on all of them. Brian and his team are A+ all the way. I highly recommend them!
We have been taking our vehicles here for a few years now and we love the customer service you guys provide. Brian is exceptionally great. Thanks for a being just a good old fashion honest mechanic shop that we know we can trust.
I had a negative experience and will never go back again. My problem was misdiagnosed and the way it was handled, when they tried to resolve the problem, was to charge me again without consideration of what Id already paid or refunding part of the originally unnecessary fix. Then tried to convince me that I was getting a good compromise because they werent charging me labor when I brought it back to have the problem correctly repaired. All other shops I called said, repairs shouldve been made either free of charge or the difference between the two jobs refunded to me. Im not happy with my treatment as a consumer at all!
Brian and his employees are absolutely fantastic! Very honest and friendly. I will never go anywhere else! Every time I have gone in, whether it be for an oil change, my check engine light comes on, or I donβt know what tire needs air... they are always such a kind honest group and so helpful. From the BIG things to the smallest. I went in today bc my check engine light came on. Fearing the worst, Brian pulled my car around 5 min later and said it was low on oil. He put the correct amount needed, refused payment and I was on my way! Class acts! Iβve already recommended them to just about everyone I know!
Very good mechanic and explains qhats wrong with my car so I understand
Hellavu guy great personality...goes far n beyond...aswell as the staff n secretary....repair with care...10stars
Great price & efficient service.
These guys are amazing!!! Ive taken a couple of vehicle to them and they are always great.
Quickly diagnosed and fixed my engine rattle for a fraction of what I was expecting to pay! Would definitely recommend!
Always professional, courteous and family friendly. Weve been customers for 14 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.
These guys are the real deal. Saved me some serious money and are very polite and easy to work with. They did a great job keeping me updated along the way too. Ill definitely be using them going forward.
Best service Ive ever experienced at a repair shop! They are honest and dont upsell which is a rare find in the repair shop industry. They explain everything they do and why. Love them!
Auto mechanics to me have always been a little bit shady and untrustworthy. Ive been to many around the Kennesaw area and finally found one I trust. We bring our 2 vehicles here for everything. Something as simple as an oil change to more advanced repairs. Brian and team are fantastic and I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else. They do great work with fair and competitive prices. Look no further. Youve found the place to go. Thanks guys!
Horrible service horrible experience. Especially with Employee Brian. He was very unprofessional. Took my car to get fixed they didnβt no fix it. They put a old part instead of a new one. Went back to ask for a refund. He used racial slurs. Do not do business here
The people there are always friendly, and always help when they can.
Always helpful and they do a great job.
Amazing customer service and very reliable staff. In a business where youre never sure who you can trust, these guys are the real deal. Brian was very helpful and took excellent care of my vehicle. Definitely a safe bet and wouldnt recommend anyone else but them!
This place is Great! I felt comfortable the first time I walked in to make an appointment. Brian and his team are Wonderful! I had my A/C fixed, ball joints and a few other things done. I truly think that my 04 Ranger drives better now than when I first bought it. Its a joy to drive. And having A/C again is Awesome. I will be back for anything else that may come up and I will tell everyone I can about your Wonderful service. Thank you guys so much!
I had heard good things on the Neighborhood App so decided to give them a try as opposed to the national chain in the same block. They diagnosed the problem, kept me informed daily of the progress and finished in their estimated time and costs. I was very pleased with both the pricing and the quality of their work. Brian was very helpful. I will be using them again to keep this old truck running! I would encourage anyone to at least give these guys a try.
Honest people! Youll love dealing with them when youre having a bad day and the vehicle you drive decides to die, they wont make your day worse!!
I normally do my own work, but had a issue I was unable to handle. Me and my wife were treated with allot of respect, and I am more than satisfied with the work and professional manner that this shop operated in. We have already refered family and friends. Excellent you are my go to shop from now on.
Everyone was polite and knowledgeable. I had my valve cover gasket replaced very quickly. They had no problem using the parts I already had. The waiting area is very comfortable with reclining couches and a TV.
Awesome!! Excellent work and a great staff! Thanks David!!
Friendly people who do great work
I needed an oil change, stopped in on a Friday after work, no appointment. I noticed they close at 6:00 but they took me in anyway . I was out in 30 minutes. Great service!!
They seem to be very knowledgeable and they took care of a few different problems with my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. They have been able to take care of issues that his dealership hasnt been able to. I definitely would recommended them to others.
I went in for service and they found air conditioning needed to be charged, tires low and other repairs needed. The employees are thorough and show they care about my safety. Overall prices were more than reasonable. going back to get a new clutch installed. They will save me money rather than going to car dealer and spending thousands.
Had a oxygen sensor replaced as well as serpentine belt and oil change. Service was fast and reasonably priced. Brian is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use them again.
Mike the Mechanic was able to fix the tail lights not working on my 17 year old sons car and got him in and out in no time. Thanks for your help!
I pulled in their shop with a flat tire. The guys there fixed it in about 5 minutes by plugged the tire. They then refused payment and even refused to accept a tip. Then they took time to talk to me and give me advice on a problem Im having on my other vehicle. Great service!!!
First, I have some car knowledge, but nothing more than the usual guy who fixes stuff. So, when I say that Brian and crew at Mike the Mechanic are great, they are.Besides being knowledgeable and friendly, they were honest, and in the car mechanic biz thats more than most are.Professional, knowledgeable, fast service, honest, friendly, a clean environment and ... AND these guys are affordable and they just plain get it. If there was a sixth star, they would have it.This is my car shop from now on. Thanks guys!Although, yall do need a big sign we can see from Bells Ferry.Theyre next to the Racetrac everyone!
We switched over to MTM based on a recommendation by a friend. We now bring all of our vehicles their. Finding an honest and fair mechanic is difficult, however MTM is the elusive unicorn. They are fair in price, honest in what really needs to be repair, provide options if possible. It has been a long while since I felt comfortable with a auto mechanic and the service team. I am totally trusting of these mechanics and the service they provide.
Stellar service, fair prices and great folks. Brian the man up front made me feel welcome as soon as I came in. Definitely recommend, best place for repairs Ive been to.
Ask for Brian. Tell him Holly sent you! 5 stars always
If you have ever had a mechanic that you either knew personally or was highly recommended by a trusted friend and were then so impressed by the service that you never went anywhere else again, then this is that mechanic. My wife has her hairdresser, who is the only person she trusts to cut her hair, and doesnt mind driving an hour out of her way for an appointment. In the same sense, even if my car isnt running, I have had it towed 26 miles to MTM because it is hard to find a mechanic you trust to not only do the best work possible, but also not try to screw you over with unnecessary repairs and cheap parts, which is why Mike the Mechanic (MTM) is the only business I trust to work on my vehicles.
My Mazda 2011 CX9 would lose braking ability and intermittently die. I took it to a local mechanic (Mike the Mechanic) who diagnosed it as having defective brake booster diaphragms and informed me that Mazda had extended the warranty for this issue. He was kind enough to only charge me half of his posted diagnostic fee.I contacted Jim Ellis Mazda of Marietta to schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed along with two recalls. They scheduled a Saturday drop off with a Monday service along with a loaner car to use during the two to three business days the repairs would take. When dropping the car off on that Saturday they were surprised I was promised a loaner. They contacted Enterprise for me to obtain a loaner and two hours later I was on my way.The following Wednesday Jim Ellis called to inform me that the check engine light was caused by two defective oxygen sensors and provided an estimate of $473 each. This came as a shock because the check engine light was not on when we took in the car.I contacted my new friend Brian at Mike the Mechanic for advice. He informed me that most likely the error codes were generated when the unit kept dying from the brake booster diaphragms, and they would probably clear with time or by disconnecting the battery. If that was not the case, he could replace both sensors at less than half the price quoted by Jim Ellis Mazda. We declined the repair offered by Jim Ellis and asked them to just perform the brake booster repair and the two recalls. We were called the following Monday (ten days since dropping it off) to pick up our vehicle. We promptly picked it up and there was no check engine light. My conclusion is that either Jim Ellis was attempting to take advantage of us or else they are just plain incompetent. It has since passed emission testing which I believe it would not with bad oxygen sensors
I think I found my car place. I went there to get an oil change and the service was excellent and I could tell they had a lot of knowledge about cars. Its important to find a reliable car place and I think this place is it.
Warning! I strongly urge everyone to go anywhere else. You do not want these guys working on your car. I cant stress this enough. I had the worst automotive experience ever.
Very courteous people to work with. My wife even liked them.
Very friendly, very helpful. In particular, if you have a Ford, it is in brilliant hands π
Needed to get my car running to do my job. Very emotional monent when they told me it would cost 1300$. Later i find the part in Atlanta for 100$, on auto parts for under 300. I also learned you basically just screw this part in.Edit: Screenshotted your response and put it in the photo section here Mike. Business is business, but as a local guide its my job to inform the public that youre practically a scam artist. I trusted you would give it to me straight, and you certainly did not.
Friendly staff. Very honest work. :)
The man answered the phone way past my bedtime. Incredible.
Always do a great job with good prices.
We have taken 2 of our 3 vehicles to MTM on Bramford Way in Kennesaw. Our first experience with our Lincoln after two failed attempts at Ford Dealerships, the problem was diagnosed and repaired to a T. They have worked on our Hyundai a couple of times again after the dealer was unable to do the job. I am done with the dealerships. Brian and the crew at MTM have gained a lifetime customer. Thank you MTM for opening the shop just down the street. Our third vehicle will be visiting upon our next maintenance.
These guys are so helpful and honest! Iβll never take my car anywhere else.
Always great service - Ray is super helpful. A little expensive at times but I know Im getting the work done right.
UPDATE: I see the owner responded... I hope they were hacked, if not... just further reason not to use MTM. But since I was notified via email of their reply it gives me a chance to update my review. My little Juke is still doing great on the original engine - the one last year MTM told me needed replaced. I put 70 miles a day on this car and took a trip to FL a few months ago too.I took my car here a couple of weeks ago (Nov 17β) when it was turning off when idling as my brother-in-law has used them several times and gave them raving reviews. I am not so excited about their service.Apparently, I pretty much ran the oil dry - been dealing with my childs cancer treatments this year and it just slipped my mind. My cars oil light never came on, and the check engine light just come on the night I dropped it off. So my cars issues are my fault, but they truly didnt seem interested in helping me assess and correct the issues. My brother-in-law took it to them for me back in June for an oil change and A/C repair (which was not done right the first time and required a 2nd visit) and they claimed now that the oil was super low then, but they never said anything to my brother-in-law.This time they offered to change the oil and put in high mileage oil, and an additive, closed her up and told me to pick her up. They said it would need a new engine without really looking at it, I asked for a quote and to date havent had a call from them. Not to mention I paid $70 +for an oil change and I guess in all of their inspection they didnt notice the corrosion on my battery terminal because 2 days later my battery was dead and corrosion seems to be the cause. I will definitely not be back.I took my car to my usual mechanic and he said the major issue is the timing chains that have cracked this and that, causing an oil leak among other things. Apparently this model Nissan was part of a bulletin a few years ago where Nissan knew of major timing chain concerns on this model, but didnt issue a recall. I guess MTM had no knowledge of this. And Im pretty disappointed that they merely mentioned the timing chains needed replacing and sent me on my way - NOT ONE WORD of caution to the real danger that was there. No warning that I needed to have them changed ASAP or that it was a danger to drive. Just basically pay for your oil change and pick it up. Keep in mind I took it there for obvious issues/repairs, not just an oil change. It seems to be pretty clear that the folks at MTM do not care about their customers. When I left my review (above) on YELP* MTMβs management replied to βclarifyβ and try to trash me, instead of owning up to their poor customer service. As you can see above my concerns were with the way they didnβt even try to assess the extent of damage, they never called me with a quote as I asked, and they didnβt warn me of the danger of driving it the way it was. So why did they feel the need to bring up my lack of oil (which I already addressed), and LIE about me asking for a quote β instead saying I declined due to my βfinancial situationβ? They donβt know my situation. They also lied saying they provided a βfreeβ A/C check and that the issue when I had to return was that the A/C wasnβt turned on. It was a paid service and they admitted that the coolant leaked out due βdebris is the line not allowing a proper sealβ. β Instead of calling me to discuss my concerns they felt the need to flat out LIE to save face so I caution you all to reconsider doing business with a company who is negligent, refuses to own up to their shortcomings, and will lie to you and about you.
Great place to go and fair on prices i take everything to Bryan and his crew they take care of me every time and doesnt cost me an arm and a leg
I am glad they opened on Bells Ferry now my go to shop. They identified my no start problem and fixed it the first time at a fair price.
The employees here are very knowledgeable of EVERY car manufacturer. They have serviced my bmw and nissan, the bmw with a critical problem, that probably would have ended with a whole in my block if I hadnt listened to them. The altima was having transmission issues and they sourced another one for me. Have never had any trouble from MTM.
Great facility when emergency repair was needed.
Outstanding!
