I purchased my car here at Carl black over 5 years ago and would always bring it back for maintenance and repairs. Customer service was top notch in the beginning. I noticed it slowly lacking customer service over the years. After my last repair I will never return back. My service advisor (Caleb Morgan) and I spoke about the main issue on my car which was the manifold. He confirmed this would definitely fix the main issue of my car jolting back and forth. This was a very expensive fix I paid over 1600 for the service. So I definitely thought my car would be running smooth again once all was fixed and done. I was told my car was ready for pick up a few days later and upon picking my car up I immediately noticed the same exact issue. I drove just 5 min away and my car was jolting back and forth. I don’t understand how whoever fixed my car didn’t notice my car doing this while test driving it. If that was even done at all. I turned right back around and spoke with (Jose Mendez) because Caleb was out. I explained how I couldn’t understand how my car was returned to me the exact same way I brought it in for and paid to repair. Jose didn’t seem phased at all and appeared more bothered I “interrupted” his personal conversation with his coworker. He just simply told me to leave the car and let Caleb deal with it when he returns. Caleb called me and said there was a miscommunication with the tech and that the spark plugs where now needed but I was originally told this was just optional that the manifold was going to fix the issue. So I got them replaced and came back a few days to pick up my vehicle. I was helped by (Andre Graham) I paid my new balance and was told to wait up front and my car would be pulled up to shortly. I waited out front for about 15 min while other cars where being pulled up except mine. I went back to the service area and asked Andre if everything was okay? He said very nonchalant yes we lost your keys and we are looking for them. I didn’t understand how nobody took the time to inform me or communicate what was going on instead of having me wait. So I explained how my keys looked and continued to wait. More time passed it was now over 30 min. So I approached Andre again cause I still had no update. He then handed me my keys and said yeah your car is in the back parking lot right there. I was speechless and couldn’t believe the lack of customer service. So instead of pulling my car up to the front like I was told I had to walk to the back parking lot to get my car after they lost my keys and took over 30 minutes to find them. Terrible customer service making the pregnant lady walk to the back to get my car while everyone else had theirs pulled to the front. This was the last straw. I will never return back, because Carl black does not have the customer service it once had. Worst experience I have ever encountered here.

Gone are the days of asking for the service department and getting someone from the service department.I used to take my car here religiously.Now, I call and call and all I get are the receptionists trying to schedule me for an appointment at all costs.I call, she keeps asking me to schedule an appointment. I need to speak to someone in service department first and then I can schedule. I get put on hold over 10 minutes. Not a single check-in.I call back and same thing. This time its 15 minutes and no answer or check-in.I call back a third time and ask what is the matter?Its not my fault, she says. You just have to wait. Are you trying to schedule an appointment!Click. Bye.Apparently, they are doing so well that they dont want/need my business.

Oil change was quick and easy with appt. Covid compliant even in waiting area. Tables with ports clean and sanitized. Been coming for years as they are the best. Dont be shy to ask for discounts or coupons, they also do military discount @10%!

Not the best customer service. Thats for sure. I also call to make an appointment for oil change. They told me that I didnt need an appointment. Got there and the guy told me that it would be easier to make an appointment because it can take up to 3hrs for oil change. Also if they have to stay with your car due to some warranty problems they do not provide you with a vehicle to move around even if it takes few days.

Upsetting. They are scheduling appts. for repairs they can not do for several days. Then no courtesy call prior to appts to let you know they cant repair or even look at it before you waste time and gas to get there. Im totally understanding to the fact people are sick and staff is short. Be courtesy to customers and stop over scheduling appointments. Why do I need an appointment for you to tell me you cant look at my car...makes no sense.

Jeff Henderson in repair. The service was horrible. I brought my car in to be service for a glitching screen. I was told the problem was in my bumper. I paid 3,081.63 the screen is still glitching. They did not repair. Do Not use. I Do Not recommend the repair service.

Great experience at Carl Black today. Had a 1:30 appointment.Went right in. Very friendly and professional staff. Took info needed and truck went straight back for work. A short time later they took me back to meet the technician who is going to do work. And to conferm where to mount new equipment. Clean and neat work. Highly satisfied. Will be back for any other work needed.

The service department is honest, straightforward and fantastic as an entire department! We love going to Jason Ellis in service, however each service rep is fantastic! We have bought 2 cars from this dealership from Sean! He is so personable and will find the car perfect for your need and financial situation. He found exactly what we asked for! He drove out to Duluth, to meet me to bring me paperwork and my brand new Chevy Spark when I was stuck at work! I will never forget! We cant say enough great things about this dealership. It is the only place we will go to buy and service our car. We are life long customers

I took my wifes car in for an oil change and to look at the breaks. I was met by Laura Major and she provided all the terms as well as my service options. I chose option 2 which was less expensive. She walked me into the waiting area after explaining that I would receive a text confirming I had arrived at the scheduled time. She also advised that I would receive a second text message with a link I could click on to see the actual inspection on video, real-time narrated by the mechanic. This was awesome...! Laura was extremely knowledgeable about her job, was very professional and accommodating. Shes a very sweet person.

Laurie was over bearing, rude, as well as made me feel like spending my money there was not as appreciated as other dealerships I ve been to. I felt rushed to make a decision, felt she was passive aggressive, and the company was on a Meth speed to get work done and thinking over my huge repair bill was a inconvenience to her. So I told her do the work. I ventured out to look at cars, and many of the salesmen seem to be on something. I guarantee if they did random drops tomorrow half the salesman would be fired. They were insulting each other, some nothargic looking hung over from shots and a coke binge. Others flying around with that Meth speed, pretending to look busy because judging by all of them hanging together on golf carts (more than 10) they were not busy. And guess since I was in service, I wasnt a serious car buyer because no one helped me while I looked at used cars. Oh well went and bought my daughter a similar Tacoma truck that no one would come help me look at down the street.

My fiancé bought her Chevy from Carl black and she only received her oil changed from this articulate Kennesaw location. Last oil change she did started leaking, but we didn’t notice it until recently when it started leaving puddles. We moved to a different state so we took it to a different Chevy local dealer where we are and they found 2 warranty issues that are covered but the main concern with the oil change was that the last tech overtightened the bolt and it shot the bolt as well as left a crack in the oil pan. I called Carl black to explain what’s happening and he said he’ll speak to his boss and got back to me saying they are only going to cover parts of the fix they did wrong in the first place. My bill was a little over $500 and they are covering around $180 of parts. I just don’t understand why a customer should be responsible of technician’s fault of over tightening the bolt. Especially when the oil changes has been only performed at Carl black throughout the life of a vehicle. I am really hoping that Carl black management will make this situation right.

Ive been getting my vehicles serviced here for years now and have never had a bad experience. The service advisors are very helpful and answer all of my questions in detail.They started a new service where you will have a video of your multi-point inspection sent to you phone. I thought this was an excellent touch. The technician narrates the video as they go through the inspection so you can see what they are seeing.Highly recommended.

Popped in for an oil change at 3pm on Thursday. Was in and out in 40 minutes. They supplied a video of inspection of my vehicle. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Nice waiting room with charging stations for you to work while waiting.

Terry and the Team in the Service Department were extremely helpful in finding complementary leather and did a great job on the installation. The interior looks new again. I purchased a truck from Carl Black Chevrolet and they were (to be kind) misleading when selling me the truck the salesman told me 3 times that the truck had 4 wheel drive, when I got it home I was looking through the owners manual to find out how to put it in 4 wheel drive and found out that he had lied. I called immediately and his reply was you bought it. It seems like there has been a crime committed. Buyer beware Carl Black Chevrolet is not an honest dealer.

Carl Black as all dealerships can sometimes feel pricey. However, I have actually gotten better deals here than many other places and sometimes with some things you want to make sure they are done right. And anything that you need changed or fixed is done well here. And I have been fit into the day before to help me when I needed it. Very, friendly and professional as well. My wife purchased her last 3 cars here also.

Even though I had an appointment, it was very busy and I had to wait to get checked in. The service on my car was completed as promised, but again I had to wait for someone to pull up my car over 10 minutes after I had already paid. Nice service center. Very clean and nice waiting area.

I bought an extended warranty this the sales person told me that I just had to have. It was suppose to be a bumper to bumper warranty but it only basically covers the engine and transmission.....Come to find out they make commission on those warranties. What a waste of 1,500 dollars! If you buy a vehicle and it still has the factory warranty DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!!!!

When I first went to Carl Black, I was uncomfortable about getting a new car because I had mine since I was in high school. However, I got into an accident with this car and I reluctantly decided that it was time to get a new car. My car salesman was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with me. Moments later I walk out with my brand new GMC Terrain, which I love even more than my old car. He gave me top dollar for the trade in. Carl Black Kennessaw is the best car dealer around.

Thieves! I purchased a new vehicle from Carl Black and returned for a recall item in October 2016, at which time they insisted that I needed new brakes and battery. I declined, had it checked out independently by my mechanic, who indicated both were fine. Now, 32 months and 33,000 miles later, I have the very same battery and brakes. Will never do business with these crooks again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! Took my vehicle in for repairs and got the run around for days! The service advisor Jason speaks to you like hes a two bit hustler from the 70s! They dont communicate with you in a professional manner, never answer the phone, dont have your vehicle ready when promised, over charge, and once I got my car back the check engine light was on! They left a spark plug wire off of my car when they didnt even supposed to do work on the engine at all! It was repairs on suspension/wheel issues. SCAM AND UNPROFESSIONAL ARTISTS AT CARL BLACK! This is why people HATE going to dealerships for repairs. Shame on Carl Black and staff.

Significantly higher prices than youd find anywhere else and the service staff is slow (partially because they still use paper) and are very outdated. Wait room is a joke. Entire experience with my girlfriend made me glad I own an Acura. I prefer being treated like a valued customer when I have to get car maintenance, not a cheap customer paying too much for their services. Wont return/wouldnt suggest.

The reasoning for this is because in the spring myself and my family went to inquire about a trade in for a Chevrolet Tahoe and felt extremely disrespected by the time we departed. Before we went in to inquire we knew we had a bad loan due to a need to upgrade back in 2015 and we were convinced to pursue an Acadia instead of a Tahoe due to the Acadia being bigger. Three years later our family is still growing and the Tahoe was what we needed all along so we went in to inquire. The salesman was courteous at first attempting to provide us options but once he realized our loan would be difficult to accomadate he told us when you guys hit the lotto come see me, other than that I cant help you. As a member of the Air Force my income is not the greatest especially in a single family income and in my opinion Carl Black thinks of themselves as untouchable due to the size of the dealership, but that is not how you treat a customer. We have expressed our concerns to friends and co workers that have expressed going to Carl Black of our experience because that was truly unfair. The only reason we continue going is due to Jason Ellis in the maintenance department and how amazing he is in our treatment, to maintain our vehicle.

Tried to call to set up an appointment. First message tells me they are recording my call for quality assurance. Then the phone rang and rang and no one answered. Got a recording telling me to leave a message after the tone. No tone. The system went into a loop. Pathetic. Only reason I would go there is it is the nearest dealership for my car which is still under warranty
