The service was great! The final product was even better! I got the best sounding exhaust without even being tuned. These guys are great and do such a clean job.

I always feel like the guys are honest and upfront. They will give you all the details but not pressure you into getting fixes you dont absolutely need at that moment. My previous repairs have all been satisfactory and passed the test of time!

Called, got an appointment for the next day. Came in after hitting a pothole. They found a damaged tie rod. Got the part quickly while I waited. They repaired the damage and did an alignment and we were done in under an 1.5 hrs. and the price was great! The staff was friendly and helpful and explained everything quickly and succinctly. Had new catalytic converters mufflers and rear pipes with new tips . Had exhaust leak before I even left when I had man come and listers he said he didn’t hear it and I could bring back another day to have it looked at went back 2 days later and sure thing exhaust leak and they had to fix it. Now exactly one week later the driver side pipe is loose and shaking .. For the money I spent I expected a better job.. I wouldn’t recommend them at all..

I’ve been going to this place for 15+ years but I cannot recommend them anymore. I went there to have my exhaust fixed because the rear axle was hitting the exhaust pipe and contacting the gas tank. I was told after they examined it that they would have to replace the tail pipes and they would have to charge me for it. I asked them for a “break” since they were the ones that did the entire exhaust system thinking that would jog their memory but instead he didn’t believe me and still wanted to charge me for it. He mentioned they were already losing money because they spent a long time on the alignment. Mind you I just brought the alignment in to get a camber change and they had just aligned the car about 500 miles ago, still charged me regular price for it though. BAD customer service, not a good way to keep customers.

I work around the corner, and they have worked on 2 of my personal vehicles and several work vehicles. Awesome work!

I had a wonderful experience at G&S Auto. I first Met Doug, and took him the codes from my Failed Emissions Test. The first thing he said was to take care of my most expensive item first, which was transmission work, that his shop did not do, but gave me a referral, Palmer Transmissions. He thought about what was best for me, instead of being like a lot of money grabbing Auto Repair companies, like the other 6 or 7 I went to prior to them. I went back to him for my Catalytic Converter, and the customer service and price was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone, looking for honesty and integrity.

They dont take appointments so its random as to how long it will take to even get an estimate. I called and they said they were slow so I said Id be there in 20 min. Got there in 20 min and a customer had dropped in. So now they want me to wait 30 min just to get an estimate. He says Were the best but if you cant accommodate a customer that left work to get there, are you really the best?

I would not recommend this place at all. I came here to have one of my studs replaced after discovering Discount Tire had stripped it out when replacing my tires. I left my car with them, and picked it up thinking it everything was fine. Ive been hearing a lot of clunking noises coming from the rear where the wheel stud was replaced, so I decided to investigate it myself. I checked behind the rotor and noticed that the mechanic actually left the old stud loosely behind the rotor. There were also missing components from my parking brake hardware.

Had my car towed twice to have exhaust leaks fixed to pass emissions. My mechanic doesn’t do welding so he referred me there. BIG MISTAKE!!! Cost me $90 and didn’t fix the problem. Took it back per my mechanic. They never called after 2 days I called and was told the car was fine they didn’t do anything to it but put a quart of oil in it. When I asked if I could come pick up my car and if I owed them anything I was told “don’t care when you pick it up”. Very rude!!!!STAY AWAY! You get charged for things they don’t fix! UNPROFESSIONAL and in my opinion take advantage of female customers. I will stick with Service Street. They’re honest and professional

I feel like G&S should have checked with me first before welding together my $400 bolt on kit.I had work done 3 different times in order to get the sound I wanted which is all me.But after I spent $700 on 2 Magnaflow and labor to get the sound I wanted.I was left with 2 exhaust leaks where the welding was done.I decided to pay another shop to fix the leak.Never again will I use G&S

Had an exhaust job done. Installed my tips and resonator and put in their 14” magnaflows all for a reasonable price. Doug is awesome and his crew gets the job done well.

Brought my mothers Prius in because of a horrible noise coming from underneath. We were immediately greeted by several friendly faces. After describing the issue, a technician took it for a test drive. After about 15 minutes he came back holding a huge stick about 5 ft long. Turns out it had become lodged between the muffler and heat shield!! What a surprise! After a good laugh, they refused to charge us anything. Customer service and friendliness like this is really rare and I plan on returning if the need arises and recommending them to all my friends. What a great experience and end result!

The experience I have had at this place was absolutely amazing. Doug the manager of the place is very nice, very professional and quick. I was going to buy a borla exhaust system for $650 and these guys got the same job done for $296 in 30 minutes. I couldnt believe how much money I saved. I go to firestone for oil change and tire rotation but I think I just might switch over to here. Their reliable, cheaper and quick. If your looking into getting a pre made catback aftermarket exhaust, I would look into G&S before buying I guarantee it will save you hundreds of dollars.

We’ve used G&S many times over the years and have always received great service. This past weekend, they saved the day by diagnosing and replacing my daughter’s alternator. What an amazing automotive repair experience. One of my vans went down these guys had it diagnosed within A couple of hours of the tow truck dropping it off. It was repaired and back in service in less than 20 hours of breakdown. Great job G&S!!!!

G & S was recommended by someone on a neighborhood site. When I called for a rough estimate, it was more reasonable than anyone I called. Customer service was terrific. I did not feel like a person that was going to be taken advantage of. So rare in this industry. I dropped the car off the next day and when I picked it up, I paid exactly what they quoted. Over the phone they told me they specialize in building custom exhaust systems. After bringing my car to The shop they had no idea what to do. He suggested I remove my resonators for a louder sound. I want an exhaust system for performance not sound then he told me it will help with performance too. Didntt sound confident so I left.

I purchased a Flowmaster Outlaw Catback Exhaust for my 2014 Tundra. I was scheduled to have it installed at a certain muffler shop in Marietta, GA. I arrived and the shop was still closed. I called G&S and they responded immediately. I asked for a quote and it was half the price. I dropped off my truck and they called me a few hours later with the work done. I arrived and noticed my quad tips was not installed. They pulled the truck back and took care of it immediately. Great service and my exhaust sounds mean and sexy. I will eventually get my SRT392 and when I do G&S will be my go to shop.

I went to the dealership yesterday was quoted over $2000 for work. Went here and was quotes what I need now for my car. $725 was the total. Headed to pick up my car now! Thank God for this place!

AWESOME SERVICE!!! I was told by three different shops that they couldn’t make the exhaust system I bought work on my vehicle and that even if they did it would cost over $1,000 to do. I called G&S this morning and was told that they would make it work. Less than a few hours later and under $300 I got my system! Great customer service and very honest and fair!! I live about 40 minutes from thier shop but I will be bringing all my vehicles to them for any work! Worth the drive!

I admit this place is better than good. I dropped my wifes SUV off to replace the radiator and its like two hrs later they called me MR.Wms your car is ready; ( I had to look under hood just to check.) Great work!

WARNING! This business does not take appointments. Quoting the owner; you can get here at 8 am, sign in and then wait like everyone else. When I explained I couldnt do that with my work he only repeated that same statement several more times. They originally installed Flowmaster mufflers for me in May and until a few weeks ago was fine until I began hearing a noise that was not normal. I went back to his shop 3 times asking him to just look at the exhaust to confirm the problem and then we would schedule a date for repair. All 3 times he told me it was a problem with the engine making the exhaust sound different and not the exhaust. All three times I told him it was not the engine, it was definitely the exhaust. His response was, Im too busy to look at that right now, you can bring it back and wait your turn, I was willing to wait and had planned to wait up to 3 hours but he couldnt tell me if he could even get to me within that 3 hours. And this was just to look at it and not even fix it!! The day after the 3rd attempt to have him look at it, a weld broke and left my exhaust hanging on the bottom of my car. I went back immediately for help to fix it and again he told me get in line and wait and I will try to get to you today. In frustration I called Cherokee Muffler in Canton and they were able to fix it that day. They made an appointment and fixed it within 15 min. I felt like G & S treated me like I was a stupid female that didnt know any better but I do know my car and I know when something isnt right. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are getting 1 star only because the mufflers did work correctly for 5 months but otherwise they deserve NONE!

I spoke on the phone with someone from G&S today about a service I was needing on my vehicle. The service I needed would have cost around $1000.00, and I would have absolutely gone in and spent the money with this business. The representative on the phone asked about my vehicle, then informed me that there was a warranty that I didnt know about, and to talk to the manufacturer. I am beyond impressed with the honesty that was displayed. It is rare to find someone who holds their values over profit. Rather than making an easy $300 in labor, G&S kept the customer in mind and saved me $1000.00. I will be using this shop for any work I need from now on, and will refer them as well.

I have used this place over 5 times and had Good experiences. This last time was everything but a good experience. I went to have an alignment done to my car. They performed the alignment and chipped my black wheels exposing a silver gash on my wheels. The owner would told me its my associates word vs yours and if he says he didnt do it then he didnt do it, hes worked for me for 11 yrs. I asked so are you telling me I am lying? He stated Yes I believe my technician. He didnt even give it an effort to keep me as long term customer. With this being said watch out for the nice friendly staff when an issue hits the fan, they will cover each other with lies and have no problem loosing your service since they know theres nothing I can do to prove it was them who scrapped my wheel even after I showed him how fresh the silver was under the black paint and it would have rusted if it were a old gash. I will not be servicing my cars here ever again. Hope someone learns from my mistake.

Another shop said I had big issues with my Catalytic Converter. G&S found a rock vibrating on top of the exhaust line. Charged me nothing....very honest group. Would definitely go back again.
