Jim is wildly professional. The staff is professional. The building is clean. Services are timely and same day (A/C blower motor and resistor repair and oil change). Prices are fair and reasonable. Will always visit Jim and his staff and recommend you do as well

I understand that things have changed due to COVID. I use to pay $40ish for an oil change and today they charged me $90! They said it was due to inflation. A $50 difference? Seriously! Don’t get your car serviced here. I’m very upset and this new price hike should have been mentioned at the time of check-in.Also, let me be clear. I never asked for synthetic oil. My car does not require it. I told the front desk person I wanted an oil change. It was his idea to give me the synthetic. I will be filing a complaint further.

My tire was damaged this Sunday Oct 24, I was almost on i-10 from 99 when the tires blew and nothing was opened around me. Heading home with a flat, I noticed that CincoAuto was opened! I took it in but they didn’t have tire replacement, but they did offer to put in the spare for me! I couldn’t be more thankful for their kindness and speed to help me and my family; you don’t see this level of kindness anymore. Except for CincoAuto. Cody thank you so much and the other guys who were there and helped change the tire.

Went in for an oil change, and was recommended to do a coolant flush. Left and had a oil leak and a coolant leak the next day. Apparently they stripped the oil plug. My other shop is still yet to figure out where the coolant leak is coming from. Do not recommend.

We’ve been using Cinco Auto for all of our cars for a few years now. They’ve always been competent, efficient, and fair. We’re very happy with the services we’ve obtained from them, and have every intention of returning for years to come.But I was inspired to write a review because of what I observed last time I was there. A week or two, I brought my car in for a state inspection and waited in the lobby. An older woman had brought her car in for an oil change because three months had passed. They checked out her car, talked to her about her driving habits, and let her know that because she drove very little, she could actually go for longer periods in between oil changes. They sent her on way without charging her anything, and suggested she bring it back later in the year and they’d check it out again for her. I appreciated seeing the kindness and the fairness that they showed toward her. Just one more reason I’m happy we bring our cars there.

Brought the car in for vehicle inspection, which was done in 15 minutes when there was no queue. The staff was cordial in person, professional and informative over the phone.

My new auto shop! Brought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk today because my main headlight and fog light were out on the left side. With our jeep, the tire has to be removed in order to get to the lights. They explained everything in detail and on top of that they did it FREE OF CHARGE 😲 They have a customer for life!

Great place and great people! Took my truck here to get a leak checked out and they found out the oil filter wasnt tightened. They were nice enough to tighten it without charging me a cent and had me on my way. I will come here for all future auto needs. I recommend them to anyone who needs a shop.

Weve been using Cinco Auto for both of our vehicles for the last 4 years. Every single time they are fast, professional, and very helpful. When you drive away from a repair, you know its going to stick. A really great team!

Oil change and check of some potential issues with my F150. They did a good job although they did try to upsell me a tune up for $500 as it was due. I asked what this was and basically its just spark plugs which wasnt due for another 15,000 miles. Not good.

Only place we take our vehicles. Despite not living in Katy we are willing to drive further to use Cinco Auto because we trust the team and service quality. It’s nice they offer a loaner vehicle if service will take longer than a state inspection or oil change which they handle promptly. Open 7 days a week a bonus for busy consumers.

I needed my check engine light fixed so I could get through my state inspection. The service and attention to detail was impressive. Cody kept me informed on all repairs. I left feeling they valued my business and were very fair in the cost of the repair. They applied my coupons to help offset the cost. The check engine light was off, and my vehicle passed inspection. They even noticed my driver door was not closing perfectly so they applied a little grease to take care of that. So easy to get ripped off with auto repair, I left feeling I was treated honestly and fairly.

Although I am planning to sell my current vehicle to CarMax, they require current inspection/registration. Therefore, I took my vehicle to CincoAuto1 to get my car inspected and explained my situation. What I didnt share is that I am experiencing significant financial challenges. So imagine my surprise when Cody gave me the paperwork and said the inspection was free of charge since I was selling the vehicle. He said, Weve got you covered. Hey Beware! I visited this place to get my state inspection done and and my $25 Nike Gift Card was stolen from my Glove Compartment by staff.I called the establishment to address the theft and the Manager belitted me and told me it was my fault and did not accept any responsibility for the crime. No one else was in my vehicle besides myself.I would strongly suggest you be careful visiting here as they will not care or address your concerns.

I’ve been taking mine and my daughter’s car to Cinco for over two years now. Always so professional, reasonably priced and very trustworthy. They are always so good at explaining the work needed and super fast in getting it done. The courtesy is like I’ve never seen with any other auto repair and maintenance shop. I always recommend Cinco Auto when a family member, friend or colleague asks who I use for my car maintenance needs.

Took advantage of a teenager that just went in for an oil change. Told him he needed about 5 different things done and ONLY verbally quoted him the price of a tune at a couple of hundred dollars so when they asked him what they should do he said go ahead. Complete UPSELL - car did not need anything but an oil change. We used this place before and thought they were good and honest that’s why we sent our son there on his own - lesson learned will not be going back.

Did my state inspection there. They had me in and out super quick. More importantly is that they didnt change my seat position just to drive it into the bay. I cant count how many garages will completely move around my seat just to drive the vehicle 10 ft. Even if I had to wait hours for my vehicle I still would have given them 5 stars just for not moving the seats. Its these little things that make such a tremendous difference. I have found my new auto shop!

We’ve used Cinco Auto for years, for all sorts of maintenance and repairs, and have always found them dependable and reasonable - to me, the most important characteristics of an auto repair shop. And their friendly service doesn’t hurt either!

My cars AC had some issues, and I took my car to this repair shop. They are open seven days, including weekends. The technicians are very professional and found out the problem after made a quick checkup. He reported the problem first and told me the solution and cost. They are a little bit expensive than other repair shops, but they are open even at the weekends and give you the right solution with two years warranty on the job that they will do in your car. In the end, I am happy with their service.

I like this place a lot. Have been here multiples times over the past 8 years and was happy each time in terms of both service and price. But the cheery on the cake came yesterday when I was here for replacing a broken battery cable connector on my Nissan Altima. They took the car in and changed out the entire cable connectors set - both the connectors along with the circuit fuse and all (although the problem was only with one connector), and they did all this for free! Yes, totally free! They did not charge me even for replacing the broken connector as a minimum. It was a very sweet gesture, totally appreciated.

I really like this place, they are quick, knowledgeable and fair. Cinco Auto has replaced the dealership for my Range Rover and Mercedes. They can reset all dashboard lights on these cars. I cant justify paying $700 to a dealer for an oil change, cabin filer change, tire rotation and 30 point inspection. These guys are much cheaper...Theyve also done cooling fan replacements and O2 sensors for me. Again, they are very up front with price, and quick, in addition to being friendly and knowledgeable.

I am from Florida and dont do reviews but because I am very satisfied with the service I recieve this is an exception . my water coolant drained empty and check engine light turn on when the guys from cinco auto check there was nothing wrong and told me the radiator valve was open and no repair needed . they are honest, the shop is spot clean and the staff are polite . the owner of the auto shop even approached me and we talked the whole time they we preparing my car I feel like a VIP. they even texted me after 2 days to follow up if everything was working good with my car. than you guys from cinco auto keep up the good work .

Totally unprofessional guy at the counter. We go to this store because of our community resident who works at this place and had told us to mention his name for resident discount. When I asked for the resident discount the guy at counter started with rude talk..if no discount exist just say so..no need for trash talk. We always went here for our neighbor resident.. otherwise this place is way expensive for routine work as well. I had spent more than $3000 at this store for all my car repairs but rude behavior and unprofessionalism has no place in the business.. Dont waste your time here unless you want to get humiliated!

I will ABSOLUTELY never go back here. I’ll leave the shouting match/insults out of it, and just focus on the EXTREME dishonesty of the “co-manager”, as described by the manager.Went in for an inspection on my truck. The check engine light was on and I knew it was an upstream o2 sensor, but couldn’t remember which one. They said no problem we can diagnose to see which one it is, and see if it’s the sensor itself or wiring or whatever. I said fine. Manager comes back. $1,800 for 2 oxygen sensors, a thermostat, and the diagnostic (which was $120 of it). I told the manager I was not told of any charge for the diagnostic. He discusses with the co-manager. He said he told me. I assumed all they would do would be to plug in an OBD-II so it would be free and certainly wouldn’t be $120 (it took 5 min).I then went to another place and ran a diagnostic independently, and all that showed wrong was one oxygen sensor. So now it’s going to be $65 for a sensor and about 45 min of my time instead of $1,800.

I went in for a state inspection. Was told it would take about 10 to 15 minutes. 40 minutes later after 3 people that came in after me had left, I found out my car was sitting in the parking area waiting, just nobody bothered to let me know it was ready and give me the keys. Probably because I declined the $2K worth of service they told me I needed. Very unprofessional and unkind.

This place was awesome!!! Cody was amazing. I had been going to Drivers Auto for years and coincidentally had a lot of shady repairs. Cinco Auto was great with telling what repairs were recommended and the severity of each one. I was not pressured to get anything done immediately. I will definitely be going back for all future car repairs!

24Aug2019: My first experience with Cinco Auto was great - they are clearly focused on the customer. To be specific, I came in with a headlight that was not functional. The work of a previous shop was done in a potentially incomplete manner, and Cinco Auto was quick to accurately point out all the issues they found with the headlight, and they used their parts (along with some creativity) to get it working again. Not only were the parts (including a new bulb) on the house, but the work was quickly and carefully done. I have some further work to handle for my vehicle, and I will be back.

Went in on a SUNDAY to get my car inspected. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in explaining everything to me as a new resident of Houston. Told me what to expect afterward and in years to come. I will definitely be back for other things auto-related.

Super quick, extremely helpful! They saw me right away and diagnosed the issue as being a simple battery connection problem, they made a small tweak and didn’t charge me. Will definitely come back again for this type of phenomenal service!

Took two vehicles there today. Was treated great and had some minor problems worked out with no bs or games. The manager Mr. Payne took care of the issues that popped up and overall runs a tight shop that I recommend to anyone looking to avoid the typical “mechanic schemes” that some other places try.

Cinco Auto is right down the road from me. I first visited them because they were conveniently close. After going a few times, I can say I am happy with the service. They are typically quick when doing both oil changes and inspections. It is rare for me to be there more than 30 mins. The staff has always been courteous to me, and so far I’ve always been treated fairly.

If you will take the car for oil change I have nothing bad to say, it is quick and well performed. Now, there are better other places for repairs... (apparently they don’t remember estimates they gave me)

The gentleman at the counter took my part into the shop and returned in to bout 15 minutes with the part repaired! He would not take any money, but simply asked me to enjoy the rest of our visit. Great staff! It would’ve been 5 stars but the quote for $887 to change spark plugs was a bit outrageous. Other than that other items are priced fair.

So far so good. This shop was recommended by 2 friends from church. Repair I needed was less expensive here than at a local competitor but still more than I paid for a similar repair (others side) in another city. Mainly happy if car doesnt rattle for a while
