Took my 2004 Accord to get it diagnosed for a code I couldn’t figure out. They found it and since I am selling it, they did a simple easy fix. Axle, the rep, was very honest and informative. Looked over the vehicle thoroughly and provided recommendations with pictures as proof. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

They have been very helpful with my 18 year old car. I love that they give a list of things that may need to be fixed with a picture and the severity/how soon it may need to be fixed. That helps with planning for me.

They gave it a 40 point check five new tire and replace d the upper ball joints and gave the Jeep a four wheel alignment. My daughter is heading back to Texas Tech and we need her to be in a safe position. They did a great job communicating though the entire project could not have asked for more.

I brought my vehicle in for annual maintenance, tires, and an inspection. My first mistake was bringing it to First Tire and Automotive. Once the vehicle was there, they kept adding service after service until the bill was approaching $1100. Lots of excessive charges on my bill and after they drove the car around for a while, we were informed that we needed a ball joint for the front end as well. Add another $400 on top, now we are talking $1500.00 total. I agree to this only thinking that it will make my vehicle in tip top shape. After my vehicle was at the shop all day 8+ hours, now I am being informed that it did not pass inspection because the brand new battery that was installed is keeping all of the vehicles computers from reporting? What? Really? So, what did they tell me to do? They said for me to drive it around (no idea how much) and then, make an appointment to bring it back in. Why? So you can rip me off more? No thanks.Bottom Line: This garage is not interested in their clients, only making a quick buck. Check out similar reviews to mine and you will see a pattern here.

Last time I was there to replace tires I walked into the workshop with all 4 working TMS sensors and they charged me for 1 sensor that they had to change and another sensor that was not working, I left with the light on on the dashboard, the service was horrible, I came back with a sensor that I had bought direct from the OEM manufacturer to replace the one that was not working and they told me that this store doesn’t receive any merchandise from abroad according to their policy, everything must be provided and installed in their store, so that Does it mean that after all I spent I had to spend more to replace the TMS sensor, is it logical that I have to pay more for another TMS sensor and labor? If my car entered the shop with all 4 sensors working without any problem, of course not, I will never go to this place again.

I brought my Yukon XL to check why AC wasn’t working. They figured out my car had no Freon left. They called the dealership for me to see if it was under warranty. They didn’t have to do that. I really appreciated them checking. Turns out it wasn’t under warranty, so they fixed the issue. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them. Highly recommend, very friendly service!

This was my first visit to the Katy location. I used the Sugar Land location last time and loved it. Im closer to Katy and decided to give them a try. I am not at all disappointed. The were very kind and professional. The store was clean with comfortable seating. I feel confident that I dont need to go anywhere else for tire and oil service from now on.

I recommend this place 100%. Employees are cool. Very knowledgeable. They are willing to divulge a lot of information regarding maintenance on your car. They even can give you a list of future maintenance in level of importance afterwards. Idk if they get commission so just shut up and take my money. The prices are very fair. They are quick to get needed parts and repairs done. Today, I took care of a few different much needed maintenance requests on my car and they finished it all in abt an hour. They have a k cup coffee machine provided in lobby as well as FREE small refrigerated bottled water. Keep up the good... No... extraordinary work. I support this establishment.

This was the second time I came to have an oil change. The first time I did not have an appointment and they got me in right away and got me out quickly. This time I scheduled an appointment and was pleasantly surprised that they got me in just as my time was scheduled and got me out really quickly again. The guys are always super friendly, its a clean place to sit and wait for your car, and getoverall Ive had a great experience.

We use this garage for all of our vehicle service, and they have always done an excellent job. This time, it was for 4 new tires, and they gave us options (good / better / best) and pricing, and were very competitive with other local tire shops and online tire prices that we checked out. They always call when your vehicle is ready to be picked up, and always advise if there are any hiccups BEFORE they go ahead and do the work, no matter how minor. A good bunch of folks, highly recommended.

Honored the warranty on tires, got the new ones installed promptly, everyone was courteous, service could not have been better.

I called this place for car repairs. They agreed for the diagnosis. Charged me $300 and paid the cash in FULL for diagnosis and did absolutely NOTHING. Called me and said they are UNFIT to complete the repairs. I said I am out of town and will be back due to the travel restrictions and will collect the vehicle. I just received a certified mail and a statement from towing company that the vehicle is being impounded and owe them $630. I NEVER got a notification from FIRST TIRE & AUTOMOTIVE about the impoundment. What a tragedy 😢. For proof I am uploading the charges. He is an AXE. Please stay away 🙏. My hard earned money is being robbed and I am devastated. Today I paid $630 for towing company. My total expenses came up to $930 and still the car is parked on my drive way. Enough said. Please DONT do to any other customers.... Hopefully a location manager will contact me regarding my issue.

Thorough, professional, and courteous. I took my high-mileage vehicle into First Tire & Automotive on a referral. My needs were addressed immediately and I was presented with a thorough assessment of what needed to be done. While it was comprehensive, it was divided into must do now, must do soon, and should do, but can wait priorities. I found this very useful to plan the pace of repairs. I also enjoyed the convenience of their shuttle service. Finally, I found an auto shop I feel that I can trust.

I came for service maintenance but didn’t have a spot. They were able to fit me in and took care of necessities. Got me in and out in a timely manner. Overall very happy with the professionalism and service.

Back in December I was visiting Katy from out of town when my cars breaks were making an AWFUL grinding sound. I am pregnant and was on my own, afraid of what was going on with the car. My brake pads had just been replaced at a Take 5 in San Antonio that we frequently use. No Take 5s in the Katy area would even LOOK at my car. So I ended up here and they immediatley took my car back to be looked at. It turned out that Take 5 had either not put the caliber back on one of the brakes or did so very loosely. The guys at First Tire and Automotive sent me photos, video and a report to give to Take 5, quickly ordered the part, went out to get the part, and replaced it for less than $30. Then they called the next week to make sure that I had made it home safely. So so so thankful for businesses that still have a heart and care about customers- even ones that they know are not going to be frequenting their business due to living out of town. I HIGHLY recommend this location!

What amazing service and kind people!!! I was driving by as my low pressure light came on. I was welcomed by the owner who came out from the garage, when he saw that his front attendant was occupied helping another customer, instead of letting me wait. They had my tire patched and remounted in no time at all. In addition to the great service, these good citizens are volunteering and helping their Katy neighbors to recover from the flood. I greatly appreciate their help, and I will be a customer for life!!

Caught a flat early in the am after dropping my kid at school and on the way to work. Pretty much thought it was over and I was about to spend 250 on a brand new tire when I just replaced these a few months ago. (Because what tire shop is gonna be honest and faithful and just repair the dang thing) THIS ONE! I was in and outta there in less than 30 minutes with my tire fixed and airs pumped in all 4 tires! I called to get a price for a brake job. David had the opportunity to up sell me OEM brakes but he said I really didnt need them. The price he quoted me was the cheapest I could find and their service was top notch. They gave me a ride home when I dropped off the car and filled air in my tires at my request. They also checked my brake fluid at my request and at no additional charge to see if I needed to change it . David had another opportunity to sell me a service I didnt need but was very honest and helpful about the brake fluid. I asked to have my brake fluid checked because another auto repair shop said I needed to change the brake fluid.David was very honest, friendly, and helpful along with the other employees there. Been to a lot of places and First Tire was a great experience. The staff was very nice, and provided a good conversation as well as great service. The price of the service I did, Oil Change and Tire Rotation was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back to this place.

After being a customer for 1 year, they decided to no longer work on my car for absolutely no reason. I go in one day to get a repair fixed under warranty, however, after waiting over 30 mins after they said they will take care of it, they decided to come back and tell me that they will no longer work on my car. They told me that the owner, Craig, had showed up and saw that the shop was using wood planks to load my car on to the alignment rack, which keep in mind was their idea, or because maybe I brought my own parts (which they have always agreed to countless times), or because I always ask for discounts (which they always agreed to also). They did not give me a straight answer as to why.I spoke with the manager, David, and he gave me the worst attitude and was extremely disrespectful towards me. When I asked why they will not honor my warranty claim, he started to raise his voice and act like it was my fault that I brought my own parts in or that I asked for discounts. Apparently, it is against company policy for customer to bring in their own parts to get installed (which was not communicated to me), however, the shop has been allowing me to do this and not stopping me from bringing in the parts. I simply asked if they could install it and they always say yes and now they are blaming me for something that they agreed too. If they did not want me to bring my own parts, they could simply have said no. However, because they realized that they werent following the company policies, they blamed me instead, which makes absolutely no sense.I ended up calling the owner and asked if he had come to the shop and told them to stop working on my car, to which he said that he did come down to the shop but does not recall telling the shop to stop working on my car, let alone even discussing about my car. This tells me that the Katy branch was essentially lying. David, who has always shown attitude towards me from day one, which I usually ignored because I would end up dealing with the other service tech, just needed an excuse to stop me from coming in.Eventually, the owner, Craig, ended up providing a refund to me for the warranty claim, so at least he tried to make it right. I am no longer allowed to do business with First Tire & Automotive.I would recommend staying away from this Katy branch as long as David works there.

Brought my Subaru Outback in for a wheel bearing replacement. It’s been over a week now and have had absolutely no issues. They offered the fairest price out of the many I called for, also had the car ready the same day. Could not be happier with the service I received.

Had 5 new tires installed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler on 11/19/18 and an alignment check. The alignment showed the Camber was out a +2 degrees on one side and a -2.7 on the other side. With it being a straight axle there is no adjustment. Since the Jeep is still under warranty I took it to the Jeep dealership to see if the axle was bent or something else wrong. After waiting 4 hours and billed $86 for an alignment check they found nothing wrong and the camber was not out, still within specs of 0.3 and 0.4. Went back to First Tire and asked them to refund me the $86 as their alignment tech evidently didnt set the machine up correctly. They would only refund the $49.95 that they originally charged me.

Walked in early, but they took me anyway, checked everything, showed me a read out and did the work and I was out of there in no time. They checked up on me later in the day.

I highly recommend this place and I will always bring my car to First Tire & Automotive!!

I bought four tires 1 years ago with warranty for 40000 miles but after 15000 two of those tires was in a bad conditions but they didn’t accept to change tire free and they told me I have to pay half price of tire. I don’t know why. It is crazy but I never recommend this place to anyone.
