Oil change service was extremely expensive - much more so than the mechanics I go to more often in the Fairfax area.Also felt like the guy who was ringing us up was treating me like I didnt know anything about cars and was trying to take advantage of that by charging me for more services. Maybe he wasnt, but if not, then I dont know why he was trying to upsell me on things I said I specifically didnt want.They said their service included a vacuum of the interior, but nothing appeared to have been cleaned inside. I dont really mind, that part wasnt a big deal, but still worth mentioning.

So I called about getting an oil change after reading all the pleasant reviews! I was so happy to get in and was treated with respect it’s hard being a woman going to get car repairs done without being harassed Or conned for extra money! These guys were fast and professional and I was discounted a few bucks because I was paying with two forms of payment! I got my brakes flushed as well because it was recommended and lately I had been feeling a difference and now I’m all Good! Such a wonderful Friday in and out within 35 minutes sitting in my car While being serviced! Everyone was wearing masks and working hard! I appreciate you all!

Very bad service came here because my mechanic wasn’t available and once they changed my oil i could hear the guys playing around and i have a custom exhaust so one of them decided to rev it up alot and since then i was getting check oil level messages then i found out my cars an oil burner have no doubt in my mind that it was jiffy because the one time it happened right only 1,000 miles after i got it done . Just change your own oil stop paying these ridiculous prices for horrible service.

I’ve been getting serviced from this location for 4yrs now and every experience has been consistently GREAT!!! Ladies if you’re like me, you hate going to mechanics because they are known to blindly rip us off, but I can proudly say these mechanics are honest and treat you with the upmost respect! I highly recommend!! They even vacuum your floor boards!!!

Great service, quick, courteous, and professional, at a very reasonable price. My oil pan drain plug bolt had been worn round and I couldnt get it off myself, but they easily removed it and were happy to install the replacement bolt I had previously purchased elsewhere. With the other checks they do, I will probably just keep coming here for an oil change rather than doing it myself.

As I did today, I chose to visit this Jiffy Lube location, which is not near my home, because of the amazing staff that always take their time to provide the best service possible for my SUV. I know my vehicle will always be taken care of, however, what I appreciate is the personable service I receive and the honest recommendations as to which services I need now, and which can wait until later. As a single parent, I appreciate this more than anything, and not feeling like Im being taken advantage of keeps me returning to this specific location. Several times, I have received my car significantly earlier than the quoted time! They work together, and work hard, to get me back on my way. Thanks guys!

I came in for an oil change. The staff was very friendly and kind. I spoke with Tino the most, who was very helpful and informative. The process has changed slightly due to social distancing so I was given the option to remain in my car. Since I was in my car I was given instructions throughout the process. Every step was explained thoroughly and in a very professional manner. Normally I dont get anything replaced in shop because its cheaper to purchase the products and do it yourself. But everyone was so professional, kind, quick and efficient that I chose to have it done there. I will definitely be coming here for all my future car needs.

Fast and efficient service! I had my oil changed and tires rotated along with some air filters and wipers as well. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.The staff was very friendly. The two gentlemen who helped with my car were very courteous! Hats off to David and Sebastian. Keep up the good work guys. Oh, and the lady at the register was very nice too.

They replaced a light bulb in my car, they changed it about 6 months ago, so this time it was free of charge which was awesome!

I have been to this particular Jiffy Lube numerous times and have been satisfied with the work and the amount of time required to provide normal services. I was surprised when I was informed that I had no in cabin air filter installed, and to install one would cost me $50. The last few times I had my vehicle serviced it was here at this location so if there is no filter installed what happened to it, did they take it out last time and not reinstall it? I may have second thoughts about coming back.

Just got a synthetic oil change here and was charged $94, only took $2 off for bringing my own filter. Who would have through that Jiffy Lube charges almost $20 MORE than the dealer. Will not be coming back.

I have always appreciated the service received at Jiffy Lube and was not disappointed at the Herndon, VA location today. The service team greeted me and checked out both of my vehicles. They reviewed and explained what was needed at this time, and, what was not needed. Work was completed as described. It was done quickly and thoroughly. A good value for the work done. Super great service here!! The whole staff was very professional, and very kind. Did a great job on my car’s oil change! They made sure to organize the cars to work on them in the order of which they arrived rather than that position they were in the line they parked in, kind of a small thing, but it made it seem super fair! I Was waiting for two weeks to schedule an appointment for my oil change. Every where I go, I had to wait 2 to 3 hours. Just called jiffy lube 5 minutes ago for an appointment . And within 15 everything is done. Awesome, highly Recommended

It was my first time there. Everyone was very courteous and professional. I went in for a standard oil change. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. While doing the oil change they notified me that my air filter needed to be changed out. They topped off all of my fluids, which my car needed. I’m definitely going back again when the time comes.

Took my car for an oil change, which they also checked and added air in all four new tires. Suffices to say that the front tires were filled to 7 pounds over the limit for the vehicle and the back tires were filled with an 8 pound difference between the left rear and right rear. These so called professionals should know the dangers of over filling tires, especially front ones. In addition, according to them the car needed a new air filter and was low on break fluid. When I told the service technician that I found that odd considering the vehicle was a brand new lease of about 5 months he retracted and stated that it wasnt by much, not enough to be alarmed. Yet prior to telling him that it was a new vehicle he seemed sure it needed these additional services. I didnt take it to the dealer cause I recently moved and for an oil change I wasnt going to drive 45 minutes, but lesson learned.RESPONSE to Jiffy Lubes response to my initial review:That is correct, the tire pressure should adhere to the limits clearly shown on the drivers door; hence its unclear why your team filled it to much higher levels than that clearly indicated on said door. This car is driven by my wife with my child and over filling the tires, especially the front ones, is dangerous. Its insane how rather than simply stating that your team made a mistake and that you will attempt in the future be more careful, you decide to point out the obvious and not take any responsibility for your mistake. In addition, the air filter should be changed every 15 to 25k miles depending on amount of use, a new lease with less than 9k does not require it, and stating that it does is disingenuous. And the break fluids informative comment that you referred to was presented more as a requirement. All in all, its no exaggeration to state that your service that day could be construed as an example of predatory business practices. Im sure you will find yet another excuse to blame your mistakes on the customer, a clear example of your lack of professionalism.

Service was thorough and fast. All options were clearly explained and agreed on before work began. Even with the little bit of extra work they did, I was in and out in 20 minutes. I always have a good experience at this location. Service is great. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My place for all things car related.

The waiting room is tiny, but dont worry you wont be there for long. I brought my wifes van for an oil change. They topped off the fluids and checked the air filters. I was in and out in 17 minutes. I timed it. I was so happy I brought my car back the next week. I did oil, fluid top offs, air filter replacements, and tire rotation...out in 25 minutes. Everyone was super nice and kind too.

Wow, that was the fastest oil change ever, plus they vacuumed my floor and washed my windows, besides all the other checks they do. Plus the folks in the waiting room couldnt be more talkative (it all got started when a woman noticed my dinosaur earrings) another woman said she was a teacher and the guys even chimed in. Plus the coffee was good!

I appreciate them checking with the manufacturer guidelines for other services like radiator fluid or transmission fluid. Its very reassuring to see them use their technical database to keep my car functioning at Optimal Performance and taking action that could prevent repairs.

I was in a rush and it was raining heavy. I purchased my truck last week from a great person. I know I needed an oil change and I saw the Jiffy Lube on the corner. The staff treated me with the respect and professional manner. I was in and out of the service within 20 minutes. This is the place where I will bring all of my cars for fast and professional service.

Always love coming here for both the company car and my personal vehicle. Staff is super friendly, there is never any pressure to buy beyond the oil change. It is a great experience all around!

Three cheers for the Elden Street Jiffy Lube staff! They always go over and beyond the scope of work, willing to stay open a few minutes late to squeeze you into their schedule. Ive already returned since my original visit -- and will continue to do so.

The service was expeditiously executed. I have spent more time in line for a movie than I did waiting for my oil change. They simultaneously performed the extra service that is paired with each oil change and found my cabin air filter was in need of replacement (they showed me). Should it become necessary, future fluid top off is free. If time is money, you save twice by using Jiffy Lube.

I was charged $91 for an oil change here... I have a 2013 Honda Civic. I feel like this place takes advantage of people who don’t know a lot about cars. Oil changes should be $19.99-50. Absolutely ridiculous. I wasn’t offered any cheaper options for oil either. I feel like I was taken advantage of.

Today, July 7, 2019, I had the most hospitable experience at Jiffy Lube! And I am from the restaurant industry.After arriving with my old Mercedes smoking oil, I was hoping the cause was a previously loose filler cap. The manager named Junior and his colleague Jim went beyond the call of duty, confirmed my novice (and hopeful) diagnosis was correct, topped off my oil reservoir, cleaned the excess oil stemming from my faux pas and sent me on my way in very short order.Bravo Junior, Jim and Jiffy Lube.

First time at a Jiffy Lube. They dont exist where I live. A little pricey for Mobil 1, but overall VERY SATISFIED! The staff was very professional. Attention to detail is amazing. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

This Jiffy Lube has bailed me out of trouble twice. Once for a brake replacement after a failed state inspection and today for a battery replacement. They do great work and have minimal wait times compared to other typical mechanic shops.

I always have a good experience here, but the past few times Ive interacted with Sebastian more and he has exceptional customer service. And Cheryl, I never fail to get a smile a from her. Its nice to have a place so close with a mom and pop friendliness.

I took my car and truck to the Elden street location for service. I requested an oil change and on the truck was also sold the break fluid replacement. I did see that the break fluid was dirty which is why I agreed to change it. However the break fluid was the same dirty dark fluid when I returned home and checked. I was also told there was barely any oil on the dipstick on my car. I found that hard to believe as it was brand new but would have changed the oil anyway. New cars dont burn oil and there was no indicator light. This is a standard fast talking salesman that will swindle you out of money by charging a service and not providing it (doesnt replace fluids). I expect dishonesty from a service garage but I think this is negligence that is risking customers physical safety.BTW, it is clever that you roll the car out and politely open the door. This makes it less likely for someone to actually check before they leave.

Decent, fast service but be very clear on what you want. Subaru recommends cabin air filter replacements every 18k miles for example, here they push them on everyone regardless of if the filter appears dirty. I went here for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. The salesperson said my 3 year old cars battery needed to be replaced for $150, although I havent experienced any issues with it at all. He really pushed it and it was frustrating getting it taken off my bill. If you go here the service is decent, just be very clear with them what you want and dont want done to your car.

I went to them for help with my car that was not that old they charged me $600.00 told me it was fixed, not even a week later it broke down in the middle of traffic with the same problem. I went back to them, they did not want to help me or make it right. Never trust them

Make sure to read these responses they are giving to low star ratings. Unbelievable, coming off as blaming the customer for poor service and deceptive processes to cause you to spend more money. I asked directly for only an oil change. That was even a struggle as I had to hear the lineup of services they suggested to have done. Conveniently, they kept me away from my car while they went about checking everything in my car. Once I left I quickly notice my engine fan isnt working and my engine risks overheating. I bet you can guess where I didnt go to for fixing the issue, and where I never will go to again.

I’ve been coming to this location for years because I trust the people who run it. I like that I can rely on their expertise and honesty. In car maintenance one of concerns for me is this dilemma: which of proposed items are necessary to get done now, and which ones are ok to wait? And if wait, how long is safe to wait? I assume that most of us at some point experienced some dealerships slamming ppl with thousands of dollars of things to do with your car, every time you go, half of which are “optional”. It’s just too easy bombard a client with mechanical terms which all sound equally “important”, all mean nothing to a non-mechanic, and all carry a few hundred dollars price tag...People at this place don’t do that sort of thing. They are straight forward, they explain things in plain English, and they give reasonable recommendation. To me, trusting a mechanic is number one criteria for choosing one. These people earned my trust, time and again. I never had any problem with their job done for me. Thumbs up! (And BTW, this is NOT a “paid review”, I did it on my own accord).

I have brought multiple cars to this site over the years and have always gotten great service. They recommended some additional work along with the most recent oil change and while I wasn’t able to have it done that visit, I will be back there soon to have them complete the work.

I called 1st to make sure they would take to Entertainment coupons at the same time---$8 for oil change and $5 for tire rotation. (Even with the coupons, Jiffy Lube was more expensive than most other auto service/repair businesses, but I rationalized that they might be worth it since theyd clean my cars windows and vacuum its interior.) The person I spoke to assured me theyd accept both coupons. But when I got there, I was told that I can only use one coupon or the other, so I told them to stop and I left. Will not be going back.

Staff was friendly and quick. I came in on my lunch break and still had time to grab food before heading back to the office. My technician (feel awful I didnt catch his name) was very detailed and explained everything clearly, his customer service was excellent!

Great job with the oil change. When rotating tires please remember to reset the TPMS indicator as well. Otherwise customers have to do it on their own.
