I got regular when I wanted synthetic. They offer no refreshment while you wait for your car except a vending machine. Maybe coffee, which I don’t drink. Otherwise they were really nice and offered a nice discount. I’ll just have to reconfirm the oil type next time.

Would not recommend purchasing from this Company. I had purchased my vehicle not even a year ago with the understanding that the previous owner had an accident and the vehicle had been repaired in its entirety. I recently brought my vehicle in for some paint touch up and found a different story all together. The repair literally had things zip tied into place. This company has refused to compensate me for the cost of the parts needed and the labor to go with it. As a result, I will not be a returning customer nor would I recommend this company to anyone. They have not been helpful and will do any underhanded tactic they can get away with it.

Had an absolute horrible experience the salesman of course was great day of buying trying to make a sale. The rim on the car had a scratch we were never able to get communication on when to get that replaced as stated when purchased. When we sold the vehicle and trying to get communication to receive the gap money back they never ever returned calls. They do not answer the phone. We finally received the check after about 20 calls and emails and messages and 5 months later. It is by far the worst place to communicate with.

**Revised review: After coming back yet again (against my will after being 3rd party contracted here for a fender bender), I have found one employee very good to work with. Greg was all over the issues I had and was very attentive with my vehicle even offering suggestions I hadnt thought of while awaiting parts. He definitely deserves a 5 star rating. I still cannot write off the issues I have already had at this place (see below), but I would definitely recommend Greg to anyone needing service. **Both the parts and service departments do not care about you! A while ago I went in for an 8$ part. They ordered it and told me it would be delivered to my house. 6 weeks later when I hadnt received it, I went in to see where it was. They ended up giving me the part in the store. No phone call to tell me it was there and no explanation on why it wasnt delivered to my house like I was told. More recently, I went in for a factory defect I found on the car. I was told by the employee that I spoke to (Sarah), that I should expect a call back in about a week from her about the internal Jeep department that would clear the repair. It has been 3 weeks now and I have placed numerous phone calls to see where we stand. Sarah has never been available to take my calls nor has she returned any of the call backs I requested and now my bumper to bumper warranty is set to expire so I will be out of luck. Recommend avoiding this dealer all together and go to Fargo.

Greg Wicken, Sales Advisor was informative about the service on my car. He provided excellent customer service and great conversation. This is the first major service I have had to do to my car in since having it. The oil pump had to be changed, the check engine light went off, but I now see oil on my garage floor. 3/5 stars because I have to call them about this oil that showing up that wasnt present before. However, to my main man Greg Wicken 5/5 Stars. Ill be calling you about my oil brother!

This is the worst dealership Ive ever been to. Half day waits for oil changes even with an appointment is ridiculous. Additionally my vehicle was damaged while being serviced. The service manager promised to fix the issue, but after submitting TWO BBB complaints over nearly THREE years nothing has been fixed. Its been so long, I dont even live in ND anymore, but Id recommend everyone stay clear of this dealership for any service.

Great customer service, went in for an oil change and to schedule a recall appointment. Oil change took a bit because there were two others ahead of me. I have had scheduling issues with the service department in the past...much better service if you can go in to schedule something. Phone scheduling is always problematic there, at least in my experience.

Worst place to buy a used vehicle. My wife bought a 2013 Chrysler 200. Lasted only a year and the head gasket blew on it with only 76k. Worst part is that the dealership knew about before they sold it. Never again we will purchase from them again

The sales folks Ive worked work were good. Not high pressure to buy it now. If they have something I like or need, would definitely stop in here again. Bought a jeep back in 17. Went fine. Looked at a cheaper beater for gas mileage but not my cup of tea for what they had on hand. Dont be afraid to walk either if youre not feeling it. I certainly am not going to loose any sleep over it.

Having to take your Jeep back right after they supposedly fixed the issue.They argued with me after explaining there is more of an issue with the transmission. After it being there for 2 weeks.Now they have decided the tcc is an issue and I need a new transmission. Now Im out my Jeep for another 2 weeks while they get it fixed.So much for having a $650 mo. Payment when I dont even get to drive it for over a month

Was driving through on my way home to Canada a couple years ago and blew a wheel bearing. The crew here got me in super quick, extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didnt tighten up one of (the three) hub bolts, which later backed out and trashed my axle.Regardless, they got me in quick and were friendly when I had a 16 hour drive to get home. Got me back on the road. Cant blame the corp for the individual mechanic that dropped the ball.

I was working with a sales man there for about a week about a vehicle I was wanting to purchase and drove 8 hours to buy this “vehicle”. He advised that it would be there when I arrived because he held it for me. When I pulled in the parking lot, the sales man came up to me, and told me “Bad news, it sold. After he told me it would be there when we got there. A phone call would have been nice to let me know it sold so I didn’t continue driving there. I was looking at trading a vehicle in so I wasted a trip and put more miles on a vehicle I’m trying to get rid of. If you live out of town, don’t bother making a trip to get a vehicle because you don’t know if it will be there or not.

I loved the service I received here. Scott went the extra mile to assure all problems on my rubicon were resolved. I never felt like I was without a vehicle while I waited for repairs to be complete. I live in western North Dakota and had to travel to Grand Forks to be taken care of because my local Jeep dealers are not doing a good job. I recommend Lithia Grand Forks 100%.

The sales person was great. We didnt have problems tell after buying the vehicle. We were told that the vehicle had came in just 3 days prior to us purchasing the vehicle. After receiving the mechanical paperwork that they did on the vehicle they had had the vehicle for well over a month. According to the paperwork for all the work that they did on the vehicle and doing the 46 point inspection. The vehicle had been in since September 2nd.We bought our vehicle on October 14th and discovered on October 18th that the hinge on the back window was completely broken. I went into the dealership on October 19th to let them know that it was broken. A mechanic took a look and Jimmy riggd until it could get fixed properly. The parts department ended up ordering the part in an appointment with scheduled for October 26th. On the same day of bring the vehicle on (October 26th) my husband told them that the driver window was going bad. After the appointment was done and my husband brought my vehicle home we discovered that the new hinge they replace on the back window didnt come with a factory bolt. What the mechanic used to Jimmy riggd when we were previously there use the same washer and bolt to fix the new one. They put a washer and screw instead of putting the correct bolt in it. Instead of helping with fix it just said oil it and should be fine.Now I understand that we bought a used vehicle and they were going to be problems with it. What makes me upset is that we didnt even own the vehicle for 5 days when we discovered a problem and we end up paying for it. The total came to $119 for that back hinge that Lithia should have taken care of not us. Then the vehicle gets worse because on October 29th we start to have more problems at the vehicle after owning it for 15 days. we take it in to get looked at and discover that there are seven codes that are bad on the vehicle. Now we have to invest more money into a vehicle that obviously was not looked at properly. They said that they do a 46 point check but theres some things that lead me to believe that they dont check over the vehicle properly. the biggest one is the back window that when we opened it up the first time the window nearly fell out. The other part is that seven codes pop up on the vehicle. The oxygen sensor and both sides are running lean and theres also a plugged valve.Like I said I completely understand that we bought a used vehicle but you would think the vehicle would have been looked over a little bit better than what it was considering how big of a name to dealership is. I wasnt expecting to put in additional few hundred dollars after buying a vehicle from such a big name company.I can honestly say I will never buy another vehicle from Lithia nor will I send anybody to the dealership to get a vehicle.

We brought our Ram in for an oil change and vehicle inspection before a big road trip. When we picked it up, the paperwork showed the checklist that everything was in good working order. We left for our trip the next day and discovered that our windshield washer spray nozzle was not working at all. After having to pull over and investigate the issue on the road, we discovered the fluid was leaking into the hood and they didn’t even top off the washer fluid. This was very frustrating since the checklist showed everything working well. Thankfully, we were able to find a Dodge dealer on the road who took care of the issue for us immediately and in as little as 15 minutes. We avoid buying vehicles and servicing our vehicles at Lithia as much as possible but now, we will NOT bring our vehicle in there again. They don’t take care of their customers and are dishonest about the work they do.

I was told that the warranty was being cancelled and they sent the papers to the bank. About a month later, I called the bank to ask if it was still active and they had no idea the warranty was being cancelled. EVERYTIME I call the salesman that I worked with, he never answers. Kinda annoying. When you tell a customer that you have sent the papers to get the warranty cancelled, YOU SHOULD MAYBE YOU KNOW, ACTUALLY HAVE DONE IT. Very upset.

Horrible experience. Buyer beware. We bought a truck at the end of July and had to have the engine replaced. Thankfully we purchased an extend warranty, but we ended up still paying over $1,000 out of pocket for the repair. The repair took almost 2 months to complete. I’ve never been so disappointed in a vehicle shopping experience in my life.

Beware of bait and switch. They’re not above selling (expensive) broken vehicles, hard sell expensive warranties, and then when your vehicle breaks down in the following days, for them to charge you through the nose to fix it. After assuring you that their warranty they sold you will “cover it” except for a small deductible. Two months waiting for it to be fixed as well. If I could give less than a single star, I would.

Consequently, the purchase I made with Lithia: Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge of Grand Forks was a mistake. They blatantly lied about the vehicle being in good condition and ready to go. On the second day, the oil pan was found cracked. Fourth day, the clutch slipped so bad that I nearly blew the transmission on my way into town. Upon inspection the clutch had revealed too have suffered severe damage and needed replaced along with the flywheel; though used, it was the principle of them saying Yes, there is no problems found with the car that fooled me into signing a lemon. I pray I never make this mistake again. Lastly, they dont care about the MILITARY either, they just want that sale. Beware my brothers and sisters.

Typical car dealership. People in sales will lie to sell you a car. When dealing on the Jeep I recently purchased from Lithia, I wanted to take the vehicle to my mechanic for an inspection. Alex assured they had done a FULL inspection and ABSOLUTELY nothing was wrong with it. That full inspections are ‘part of their process on a vehicle only a few years old and they don’t put them on the lot with issues’.My fault for believing people can be truthful. When I called them recently regarding the $1500 in repairs needed, they of course aren’t willing to assist at all. That’s a chance you take when purchasing a used vehicle, but I know now they were aware of the repairs needed and lied about it to sell it.They also filed paperwork incorrectly on my trade in and 6 months later I’m having to meet them to sign paperwork for my trade in. They didn’t even complete the paperwork before they had a driver meet me to sign it, it was just a blank document and they expected me to sign without the information filled in.Shady business, unorganized and poorly managed. Would never purchase from this dealership again.

I took my vehicle in for an oil change in September. James, the tech that looked at my vehicle did a very thorough inspection and noticed a problem with a gasket. Instead of just changing the oil and moving on to the next customer, James took the time to do a thorough inspection. And because he noticed the issue early enough, we were able to get it fixed under warranty. The entire service team at Lithia in Grand Forks did a superb job taking care of my vehicle.

They called the dealership and they told him there is nothing they can do until the extended warranty starts. Wish zero stars was an option. These people have NO customer service skills, we have been waiting on answers about my 2017 dodge durango for almost 3 weeks. The guy that is supposedly in charge of our warranty case never returns phone calls or messages. My husband has called 2-3 times a day and not one person in the building can give him an answer. Never doing business here again!To top it off the rental they gave us to use in the mean time was never cleaned between customers and there was a rotten broken tooth left in plain sight. Have lifetime oil changes so have to back to get them done. Coffee and cookies were great. Cant say the same for the service. Car was returned with oily prints on front and drivers door. Just had car washed before going there. The tecnician must be magician to check air cleaner because the air cleaner cover still had water standing in channel from car wash.The service advisor did offer to have car washed, but I declined because we had already been there an hour and needed to get going.Happy New Year

My son purchased a car from them in February of this year a 2013 Malibu and we have to replace the heads the timing chain stretch and messed the heads up call and spoke with Ryan the service manager was no help at all. He asked did we get and extended warranty. When I told him no he was like its nothing we can do. My son who is in college is left to pay 3,000 for a car he just purchased about 3 months ago.needless to say we havent even received a tag for the car.This is the second issue we have had 3 weeks of having the car had to replace a battery with this vehicle . Poor poor customer service. Buyers be aware of purchasing a car from this dealership. Very unhappy with them VERY.

I only give it a 3 star due to the fact that my son was dealing with a salesman there by text on a truck and he made a appointment to view and test drive a truck. We drove over a hour to get there only to find out that the salesman wasnt there and that the truck had been sold earlier that day. The salesman that we dealt with when we got there was very nice to us showed my son another truck of course but it was older and had 40xxx more miles on it.

Bought a 2017 Ram in October of 2017 from Lithia. Fast forward to January 2020. I trade it in for another vehicle. I cancel the extended warranty that still had 2.5 years left on it. I called Lithia and let them know. They sent me forms to fill out to cancel it. I filled them out and sent them back. I called on 15 Jan to ask how long itd take to receive the refund and was told 6 weeks. 26 Feb was 6 weeks. Its now 05 April and havent seen my refund. Ive called multiple times since and have been told the refund is on the way. Its been almost 3 months since i was told 6 weeks. Knowing what i know now id never have given Lithia my business. Would not recommend anyone do business here. Go to Fargo or some where other than Lithia! If this drags out any longer ill be giving the Better Business Bureau a call.

My boyfriend and I went to just look at vehicles as we needed a new family vehicle. We were asking about the Dodge Durango’s. The salesman Don showed us the two options we had. We test drove the first one. He asked what I thought and I wasn’t a fan as it didn’t have the amenities I wanted. Don mentioned when we got back, he would look on the computer for other options. As we sat there making small talk and assumed he was looking up other vehicles in the price range we shared, Don ran our credit scores without our consent. He then came back asking us if we were ready to sign the paperwork. I was appalled with how pushy he was. I didn’t even have my vehicle that I would have liked to trade in. We ended up getting a vehicle that day since he ran our credit without our consent, but as we filled out the paperwork and my bf stepped out of the room, he slid a paper in front of me to make me sign for the GAP insurance, lifetime warranty of oil changes (even though it said 4 calendar years in small writing) and was very pushy. I told him over and over I will wait for my boyfriend, he continued to push me to sign it. I would NOT recommend ever doing business with that man again! He also told me that because I had an iPhone that my messages would not be read to me with the Bluetooth feature, and it does. Also mentioned he would follow up in a week, never did. As a former sales person, I’m all about customer service and the service you provide for u customers and this did NOT satisfy me.

I dropped off the Dodge Ram that had three recalls. I was delivered to Target by a gregarious man whose wife grew near my farm. We had a great conversation.The work was completed much more quickly than I expected, so I was off to finish my shopping.The only thing that would have been better was not having recalls in the first place.

I bought a 2018 Jeep back in January of 2018. My salesman was Josh and that whole buying experience was great. That being said, the service afterwards has been anything but and very frustrating. I had a receiver hitch put on my Jeep as it was part of the deal when I bought the car. A week later after having the receiver hitch put on, I noticed that the bottom skirt of my rear bumper was sagging. I crawled underneath to see why and noticed that the five screws that are supposed to hold the rear bumper fascia on are not there. I thought no big deal, I’ll just call and get the screws and do it myself. When I call i get told that they have to order the screws because they didn’t order them with the new rear bumper that they had to get because of the receiver hitch. Again, no big deal because I had to order a new side mirror anyways. I tell them to ship it to my address. I wait for over a month and nothing comes. Nor does anyone call me. I call back and get told from the parts guy that the salesman and/or the sales manager will call me so I can confirm with them that I shouldn’t have to pay for it as it was part of the deal when I bought the car. Okay, no big deal. No one calls me—parts or sales. Mind you this process is over a 3 month span. Now it’s roughly 4 months later and still no one has called me back nor will the Parts ever answer their phone. So if you’re looking for a car here, it’ll go great. But don’t expect anything to be great after!

Sarah was great to work with. They were super busy but she took the time to personally make sure I was taken care of and explained that it would be longer than normal. Work was complete in a timely manner.
