After moving from California to North Dakota through the military, I needed a reliable car and a company that was welcoming and not pushy. My vehicle needed rear brake pads and cables to the rear camera’s replaced. The parts were ordered and arrived in just a few days. I called on a Friday and was able to make a Monday morning appointment. I was pleased to have the work done so guickly!

They took care of the recall item and did an inspection on my vehicle. The mechanics have been pushing me to replace my oil pan gasket for roughly a year now. I did have a power steering line fail that I did have replaced that failed again that was finally fixed correctly. Since this line was fixed. I do not have any leakage anywhere my car is parked. I feel like Rydells is pushing unnecessary maintenance.

Had my GF bring my truck in for a service while I was away. So I come home and ask how it all went and she said everything was good except they couldn’t check my interior have filter because of a light being in the way little frustrating that people can’t do there own job. I work as a diesel mechanic so I know that the filter could have been checked.

You have to keep up on maintenance of your vehicle if you want it to last. It starts with the crew changing the oil. My truck has 240,000 + miles. Justin Rodriquez has been absolutely fantastic! I would request to come back to Justin for anything I need at the Rydells Service Department. He has help us through a very difficult situation with our new Buick Enclave. He knew exactly what was wrong and worked extremely hard to fix the transmission problem. I realize that parts are hard to come by at this time but Justin did everything he could to find the parts and get them installed in a timely manner. Time was a serious issue for us as we are about to leave on a trip that could take us about 5000 miles and we wanted to use the Enclave. What a great experience! We purchased our car from Rydell 7 years ago and it was the best experience ever! Hence we recently had to bring our GMC in to get work done on it for the first time in 7 years. They were able to get our car in right away and have it fixed the following day. 3 cars ahead of me with one in the bay. Later found out that they had to order an oil filter for the car in the bay. Cars behind me and I was stuck there for 2 hours. Didn’t let us know what had happened until the line started moving again. Oil change was fine. The rest was BS

Very frustrated. Brought my car in to get fixed because it was squeeking when I was driving it. I dont know much about cars, but I do know the noise was coming from the front right side. I tell them I just want the noise fixed, nothing else. I have in the past been told things are wrong when they are not. They tell me the squeeking is coming from somewhere in the exhaust. I said go ahead but only fix what is causing the noise. I pick it up and only make it a block away before its making the same noise I brought it in for. I called and asked to get it checked out. I was told since the issue wasnt fixed the first time it would be covered. Well fast forward, they say they arent going to cover it. And the sheet they sent home with me doesnt give a definite answer as to whats wrong, just giving guesses at this point. Im beyond frustrated and now Im out $480 and my car still isnt fixed.

The Rydell Chevrolet team is awesome! I leased a truck from them in 2018. Very happy with that purchase as well, which is why I stayed with them. As you know, trucks are very hard to come by lately. Each time they send an email, my fingers are crossed they have a truck to suit me. It was down to the wire when I received an email saying they had a couple trucks that may interest me. The next day, we were working out finalizing the deal. I live an hour north of Duluth, Mn., and still would prefer to deal with Rydells in Grand Forks, N.N.!

Pretty shady. Sent out advert saying theyll give you a certain price for your vehicle. Then lowball you hard on your vehicle and blame the mailer on a 3rd party. KBB isnt accurate, but come on, 10k under their estimate? And to top it off they have the same vehicle on their used lot with more miles and less equipment for dang near 10k more than they offered? Should change their name to Rip Off Chevrolet Buick GMC.

While this appt was fine, the reason for it was not. I had my oil changed from you and they neglected to tighten the drain plug causing a very messy garage floor. Hopefully we did not lose too much oil to cause any serious damage to the engine. On a brighter note, Justin was excellent as usual.

Never go to Nick Maro. He was very rude. Wasn’t even there when we went to go check in our car or when we went to go pick it up. Wouldn’t call when we had updates on our car. We had to call and when we talked to him he was flat out rude. This is our second time with them being rude. Will not be going there again for my vehicle. Would rather drive to Fargo.

Have cash In hand and they rent out our vehicle we put money down on and guess what waiting and waiting for it to come back so we can get the vehicle we purchased,! I had major engine trouble and had my car towed to the dealer. My appointment was scheduled for 1 pm the next day but they moved it up to 7am which was great. By 830am they called and told me what the issue was, how much it was going to cost and that they needed to order the parts and those would take 2 days to arrive. So the courtesy shuttle picked me up from my house and drove me to the dealer to get a loaner car (seamless process, in and out in 5 minutes). The next afternoon I got a call that the parts arrived early and my car was fixed and ready for pick up at my earliest convenience. I payed the cashier and off I went with my car working perfectly.

When I brought my pickup with hail damage they also found a crack in my back window and Crome bubble on the grill so both got replaced under the warranty. Thank you David

Not sure whos running things in the service department however I called to get the cost for mount/balance and an alignment on a dually 1ton.I ended up with a reasonable price. Scheduled an appointment and go to drop the truck of for the next morning. All of a sudden the total bill went up $100 from what was agreed on the phone. The person that scheduled it according to Justin was wrong and wont honor the previous amount. Recommend using another facility if you have to deal with the service department.

I had an unusual condition and question and Don jumped right in to help do a quick diagnosis to help determine if my vehicle should stay in the shop or if i could take it home. We decided to have it stay and they did a great job in diagnosing and repairing.

My Vehicle is now making a ticking/knocking sound when running. This sound happened right after going in for an oil change. I had 44, 500 ish miles on my 2020 3500HD and not once have I had an issue. Now it is making noise as a result of going into this dealership.Unprofessional and unacceptable

Too long for oil change 35 minutes in and out is ridiculous! Plus the cost $158 for 2 filters and oil change was outrageous! I will not be getting any more oil changes at Rydells.

My dads car was brought in to fix the engine and the day after, the computer system was allmessed up and the car wouldnt work. He spent about 4 hours there and now it wont even work, very disappointed.

The service was top notch.... the job was wonderful... I would have given you better scores had the cleaners did something that made me furious. I had left the plastic cover on the mylink screen for a reason. They removed that piece of plastic without permission. I am not happy about that. Other than that everything was great. I shouldnt have to give directions not to destroy other people property when I take my car to be washed. Im not sure if Ill be returning to Rydells. My first car was brand new, and only serviced by Rydells for oil changes and new parts. The salesman was top notch. I enjoyed working with him. Everything was going great until the trade in estimator came in. He offered me an amount lower that what I believed my car was worth. I countered his offer with a price $1000 more. He told me he could only do $500 more because he had to spend the other $500 to fix a 1 inch dent just above the front drivers tire. I felt that was fair enough. This evening I stopped to look at my trade-in thats on their website and in their lot. The dent is still there. They took $500 away from me to do a repair that wasnt done. They lied to me about the money, then took it. I hope that $500 was worth it, as youll never get my business again.

I am a college student, and I needed a car that is reliable enough to get me around town for school and for the 3 hour trips home to visit family. I also needed a car that is spacious enough to haul things, but yet isnt too huge. Frank helped me to find a very nice Chevy Equinox, that was in my price range and met all of the things I wanted in a car. Its spacious, but not too big, its very comfortable, which is great for long trips, and its easy on gas. Most importantly, it has all of these features and is still in my price range. All around, my family and I were very pleased with Franks friendliness and ability to help us find what we were looking for. Plus it was nice to work with someone from back home.

Today I went in for an oil change. This is the first time that I was unhappy with Rydell. The wait seemed rather long.... Once I was inside I clearly found out why... due to construction with one of the bays, I stayed inside the service area. One worker was rather involved in watching Basketball on the company computer and showing his fellow coworkers the high lights... Another coworker, whom appeared to be the main guy that was to be working in my car was all to busy, going downstairs, walking around, texting on his phone and watching the highlights of the basketball game to tend to my car... mind you this was after he removed the filter from my car and threw it on the floor next to the gal sitting at the podium, this same filter was put back into my car... thanks for that...This was very unprofessional!Oh but they surely remembered to tell me to have a nice day and call me maam when I was to leave.

Went in for an oil change - great service and results. While in for the oil change, I asked about costs to replace my headlights as they were very bad for clarity. Visited with parts and he suggested I go to the Detail Shop to see if they could buff the lenses. Long story short - they buffed them out, did a great job and lenses are like new. Saved me a bunch of money and reaffirmed me to remain as a customer for the future.
