Ive purchased more than 20 cars from private sellers and car dealers before but this was the best experience I have ever had. Tim gave me a great deal on a cheap car because I couldnt afford a down payment. Even though the car is rough around the edges, I am very happy with my experience. I would recommend anyone to come and buy a car from TCM. Good selection and friendly staff. Even if I only get a few months use out of this car it is still a great deal and I firmly believe if anyone has issues then they werent being honest about the car they bought from here or they messed it up themselves purposefully.

Purchased my vehicle from Cliff in 2017. I have yet to have any major issues. My Starter went out and they were able to help me get the part cheaper then I would walking into the part store and they even had it installed at a WAYYY Cheaper cost! I would recommend Twin City to anyone. Hey if you treat people how you want to be treated youll be surprised how nice people are.

I dislike people that give a low star rating in these online reviews and then dont provide any written description of their experience. The guy with the bad transmission maybe never heard of a filter and fluid service for the transmission coupled with the fact the vehicle was probably driven like a new Corvette after purchase. I had a beyond great experience with Joe at Twin City Motors. Id rather buy privately or at an auction as I enjoy doing mechanic work myself to save money plus the pride in workmanship. When looking for a heavy duty rear wheel drive truck for a reasonable cost to use in my business Twin City Motors had a great deal on a heavy duty truck. Joe was brutally honest saying they only detailed the truck. I checked the truck over thoroughly and immediately upon purchase change the Air Filter and Oil. I will do a few other routine services such as the rear differential, coolant change, Front wheel bearing repacking, etcetera as then I will know exactly where the truck is on the routine maintenance schedule. Joe even sent someone to give me a friendly ride from Fargo, ND to Grand Forks, ND to retrieve the work truck. Joe never once made me feel like I was wasting his time as I believe he actually enjoys his livelihood and doesnt view customers as marks. Thanks Joe for the great work truck and customer service!

Wouldnt buy a car here after a bad experience years ago. Test drove in the winter only allowed to go a couple blocks no problems.. After purchasing and driving away a cpl blocks ENGINE light comes on. It was on the entire time I owned it, meaning he (yes, Tim who still works here) shut it off before i test drove it. Misfired for years only way to fix was to replace the engine for $7500 which was almost what I paid for vehicle. Had enough nerve to tell me he was giving me a deal because it had been sitting for several months. Would never buy another vehicle here

Be careful buying from these guys they will say anything to sell a car. Bought one about a year ago and it worked for about 5 months and transmission went out. When we took it back to talk to them (since they gave us their word car would last a few years, and that they would do all repairs at cost if necessary) they turned around and told us they dont do any repairs there and that their cost is still our retail since they have to go to a local mechanic. It snowballed from there but in the end Im out 3700 dollars on a car that lasted 5 months my mistake for buying from a sleezy place I hope you dont make the same mistake.
