I was referred to them so I reached out and gave them a call to price a set of tires The guy on the phone was nice and told me that they will be no more than $400 out the door so I thought to myself great since I paid 400 and some change before at Sam’s Club We never discussed whether they were brand new or used So I was under the impression that they were new come to find out today when I got my oil change at the dealership the tires were used and each tire has a different tread depth Long story short I called we had a conversation he asked me with all due respect do you think four brand new tires would be 300 and something dollars because those tires that you have on there are Michelin’s and they are $1000 brand new Then he asked me what I wanted to do I feel like I’m the customer you should have a solution not me Disclose all the information before you just take my money Because to be honest I didn’t even know you guys sold used tires but hey you live and you learn

Choose this one! This place was so great when I had a flat tire. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Im actually writing about an appointment that I had 2 years ago, and I procrastinated writing this review (obviously lol) but I have always felt guilty about not writing a review because it was such a good experience. I am a 25 year old girl and do not look like I know anything about cars, and the owner was so sweet and explained everything to me. I matched the deal I received with competing places, so I know it was a good price.

Great service. Bought new tires for my 95 impala ss ( not easy to find) at a great price and had suspension repaired also a very good price. Service was fast and staff was very friendly. I will definitely come here again for any tires or auto repair needs.

Calvin is a top notch guy. I live around the corner and my wife blew out her transmission :(. He replaced the entire thing for a reasonable price and has had it in the shop fine tuning it a handful of times for which he has never charged me. Theres a lot of snake oil salesmen in the Auto business and Calvin is an exception to the rule. He has my business for life, a man whose handshake and word is his bond. Rare these days.

DONT GO HERE They said I need a flex pipe and I could not just get that but had to get the catalytic converter also which they said a after market one plus the 02 sensor would be $640.The honda dealership themselves said i could get a catalytic converter for $90 from autozone plus the o2 sensor would of been $190 not 640 & i could just get the flex pipe.Then they tried to charge $400 to install making it over $1000 to install a catalytic converter & o2 sensor.I went to another shop and they said i need just a flange & a sleeve or in lamens terms 2 connections on the exhaust system because they rusted out the flex pipe they said is good & they just charge me $120.And their tech is rude

I will never use this place for anything ever again. 2 weeks to have someones car is ridiculous. Everything that could have gone wrong did. Wish I would have listened and took my car to the dealer. I would already have it back.Edit: I tried to go back and give them a chance and they would not serve me due to this review. Even told him I would delete this review to make nice. Clearly customer service is not a priority at this place! I took my car to tire outlet in Madison heights and I got amazing customer service! Worth an extra 10 minute drive to get good service! Instead of refusing service to someone-maybe try to explain to the customer the situation rather than refuse service.

EXCELLENT! I needed new tires ASAP. I trusted Yelp and am glad that I did! I spoke to Calvin, who showed me the different options I had and took time to explain to me what the differences were between each option. In similar situations I usually feel the need to take a friend who is knowledgeable about cars to avoid being taken advantage of, but at Tire Outlet I felt confident that I was being treated fairly despite knowing very little about cars. It seemed pretty busy, but the whole process of choosing new tires and having them put on was only about an hour.I have already recommended Tire Outlet to a friend and will definitely be returning.

Ive gone to this location serveral times for service on my SUV and had a wonderful experience. We have purchased tires in the past, by far the best prices on tires! They have actually stored our winter tires for us previously. Such a wonderful perk to not have to take the large tires home with us. We have two BMWs and the owner specifically (I believe his name is Calvin) is very honest and professional. I never feel like Im being sold anything. Between the honest service and being able to trust someone with our cars, we continue to come back over the years.

I am always weary of auto-mechanics and tire-shops assuming that they are going to hustle you! Often times when I go to one of those type of establishments, they try to sell me nonsense and over-charge ten fold for things I do not need. The Tire Outlet, however I am glad to say was not one of those places. The prices were extremely reasonable. Basically I had a tire blow out in my car, so I chose the closest location to me to slowly drive my car to. As soon as I pulled up, someone was walked to my car and offered assistance. I was going to get a new tire which was around 120, but as per the employees suggestion I opted to get a used one for 60. I found this to be an uncommon practice as I always figured they would try to sell you the more expensive one. I also saw a rack of windshield wipers, for 20 dollars for all the wipers on my car. They installed it for free with the purchase.So basically, I got there at 11:15, they installed my tired in 20 minutes as well as the windshield wipers for a total of $80. I was out of there after paying the bill by 11:45. I was impressed by the price, the service, and quality of work. I recommend this business to anyone looking for a fair deal.

So I go in and Im like man I hear the road in my tire and my ask the how much 2 new back tires for my car would be so instead of him just giving me a price they came out checked to see y my back tires were going out and he like its your struts I instantly got mad and complaining about my funds and he goes well ill help u out. Avoid this incompetent scam factory at all costs!!! They installed a new bolt on a sway bar wrong, and it messed up other parts of the car. I went to another place after my car was driving poorly after the bolt was put in and now I have to pay someone else to fix it. I went back and asked for a refund, and was told to get the hell out. The manager was extremely rude and customer service only exists if they can get your money. This place has been called out for bad service many times and shouldn’t even be in business.

Went in to get a tire fixed, owner was very accommodating, let me know my car needed new tires and made plans for Spring as its going into storage for the winter. However, after flat was fixed, tire was still low on air. I asked the service tech to top it off only to be told the sensor would reset itself as I drove. Didnt happen, went back and the store was CLOSED. Doesnt speak well for customer service.

Im giving this place 2 stars SOLELY because of the lead mechanic Mike.My original reason for going in was because I was hearing a rattling noise near my front rear tire. Id have to pull out a work order to say exactly what Keith, one of the two owners, said it was but whatever it was, after being out of a car several days and getting it back, I still heard it.I took the car back again and was told it was my wheel barrings, and some other things with suspension and that I needed new tires. Against my better judgement, because really, if it was that how did you not detect it the week prior, I had the work done.When I was getting my vehicle I noticed I had three of the same brand tires and one different. I had previously purchased a new tire which is why one brand was different but I had also gotten one from Tire Outlet. I asked what brand tire they put on. Calvin, Keiths son and other owner, stated it was the brand of the one different tire. I told him I already had that tire. He tried convincing me they put it on. I stated I should have two of each brand. Calvin then goes to the computer and sees I paid for a new tire and they in fact did not put it on AND they didnt have it in stock so Id have to come back for the tire. If I had driven off that lot I would have been SOL because both owners take little to any responsibility for their actions or work. They would have sworn I took the tire off!As Im leaving the mechanic tells me about a warning light that is on but should reset and that the brakes are slipping due to something he put on them but it should dry out over night.This never happens.When I come back in Keith IMMEDIATELY starts throwing all these crazy repairs at me that the warning light meant. When another mechanic came in explaining the light to me, he told him not to speak to customers and sent him away so he could continue to try to scam me. Luckily Mike, the mechanic, recalled the light coming on after his repairs and let Keith know he agreed to look at it if the light didnt go offOh, To rewind, the second time in came in my extended warranty was used for repairs and I had an issue with my warranty company not covering my tire. I called them back after Keith had spoken to them to discuss my concern and Calvin, who is EXCEPTIONALLY arrogant and has little to no customer service skills, felt the need to passive aggressively discuss the Keith that I was going to get their work order cancelled and I had no business calling the warranty company back.Fast forward, it takes about a month of going back and forth and Keith trying to scam me into unnecessary repairs to get this warning light issue repaired. I insisted whatever was causing it to be on was due to their repairs because it wasnt on before. One remedy offered was that the sensor was broken. I felt if it was broken they had broken it and I wasnt paying them to repair it. They quoted me their cost and I went to my dealership and had it done.That wasnt the problem. The light was still on. At this point I had my advisor from the dealership call Keith because I wanted to know if my issue was due to Auto Pros negligence would they foot my dealership bill to finally have it resolved. Keith tried his best to deny responsibility but eventually agreed. Keith had the balls to ask why the dealership did the repair without their own diagnostic but it was the same repair they were going to charge me for! $150 down the drain.I went back to Auto pro to get a copy of all the work to have the dealership go over the repairs. At this point Calvin asked for one last shot to make it right. I agreed.Apparently when they had my wheels pressed by a third party it was done incorrectly which was causing the sensor to go off and car slip.During this last visit they put over 200 miles on my car ( I took pictures of the odometer when I dropped it off and when I picked it up) left me with hardly any gas there was dirt all in my car.Road trip maybe?The tire they sold me went flat the next week like most reviews have stated.AVOID

Before taking my keys, the guy helping me made sure that I knew it might not just be an easy fix and was clear on potential costs. Turns out it was an easy fix- they took a nail out and plugged the hole. In and out in a half hour.

Very bad exspexperi. I walk in to get used tires for my car. Not only did the gentlemen tell me used tires for my car dont exist but also said if I find them they will be dry rotted. Not a very good way to do business to even try and sell me knew tires. Would like him to know I found my used tires in great shape and not dry rotted. So thanks for ur help. NOT!!!!

I got called a scrub because I asked pricing questions. When the owner said it would cost money to investigate my question I said nevermind. Lol I was getting a tire changed, just asking a simple question while I waited. Lol im serious, the owner told me to get out of his shop and called me a scrub.Piece of advice, if you dont already know a lot about fixing cars and appropriate pricing, I would stay away.

Replaced a tire pressure sensor but could not get the vehicle to read the pressure of that tire. Dont offer the service of you dont know how to do the work. $102 and it doesnt work. Also didnt replace the valve stem cap that I didnt notice until I was home. Went here against my better judgement and got burned.

I meant to post this review a couple weeks ago. I was in Ferndale with my kids & got a flat. I googled nearby tire shops & this was the closest. I thought GREAT, now Im going to pay an arm & a leg for a tire & be sent on my way! Well it didnt quite go that way. The place had quite a few people waiting, & I found out it was more than a tire shop. There were customers of all ages, races, & backgrounds. There was a dad with a sick baby, 2 elderly couples, me with my 2 kids... All that could make for a frustrating wait but they were so thorough the way they communicated. I never once got that feeling that you sometimes get from an auto shop that youre about to get worked over & double talked to justify the price & the wait. The owner was very clear & polite & even suggested another local shop to a woman that was pressed for time. I did pay a bit more for my tire than I would have a few miles away, but now I know that I would make the drive to this shop in Ferndale if I need work done on my car. They were fast, efficient, knowledgeable, & the communication skills made everyone there (from what I could tell) relieved that the repairs were solid. I overheard to separate patrons commenting on how they do such good work. Well, you can get good work done anywhere but you dont walk out feeling cared for. A warm greeting & a find farewell were the bonus to the speedy repair because it ended up being a little more than a flat. Even the young lady cashiering was very nice. Large clean lobby, mechanics were swift & present & their sense of urgency was visible. Bravo!

I had been calling around for the best tire deal around the city. I was at a discount tire getting a set of four tires for my Dodge Dart gt. When I called I talked to Calvin and he was honest and straightforward. He told me the tire I was purchasing was cheap Chinese made that would get loud after it breaks in. He also informed me of the soft composition rubber and that if we got more than an inch of snow I would get no traction as it really wasnt an all season tire. He spent time with me over phone and I was at discount tire finalizing a purchase. When I asked the sales rep he admitted that Calvin had been honest with me. Amazon reviews confirmed it even more. For a decent American made tire The discount tire guy was charging me $660 for the set. I left and went to Calvin. First off he informed one of my tires was good with 75% tread life left. He outfitted me with brand new Dunlop tired for front and matched my one remaining tire with a matching tire. He also let me know cuz I have a front wheel drive Car with regular rotation the different wear levels wouldnt affect ride quality. He was dead on and even let me know if the car was all wheel drive he wouldnt have even made the suggestion. The most honest standup place Ive been too. Paid $300 out the door with alignment. Calvin was amazing, I was in and out before I could finish lunch.
