This is my second time coming to hardmans. First time I had a rock stuck in my brake and had some computer issues. I’m back for a tune up and oil change. These guys are fast and easy to talk to when it comes to cars. If your a single woman 1000% recommend coming here. They will answer the questions you have and are extremely friendly. Also an anxiety free area especially after stressful car issues. Also a nice lounging area as well.

Unfortunately I really thought I would get to write a great review for this mechanic. At first I thought wow, great customer service, knows exactly what needs to be done and can get me in quickly! Well, I guess that is what I get for trying to see the good in people and trying to be kind by supporting a small town business.I took my Hyundai in to have it diagnosed, the gentleman said “you could still be under warranty, so I would suggest taking it to Hyundai too find out and if it’s not under warranty we will take care of the issue for you.” Long story short, my car needed a new thermostat, it wasn’t under warranty and after a horrible experience at Hyundai in Bellingham, I called and talked to Dale immediately. I explained the situation and he said “no problem at all, we can order the part and get you taken care of Friday morning for 8a.m drop off.” I was stoked, he then proceeded to tell me that “this kind of job can take anywhere from a 1/2-full day of work, the total all together would be $768 and some odd cents for the part, tax and labor.” I said “well it needs fixed so that’s fine, the sooner the better!” I got home, talked to my partner and he called Dale, where Dale explained the same thing to my partner as he did to me by phone 30 minutes prior.Well, we decided to call another mechanic shop! They said “oh no this is an HOUR TO AN HOUR AN A HALF JOB, 300$ for the part and 130$ FOR THE LABOR!!! That is no where close to what we were informed by the mechanic at Hardman. So, this just goes to show that sometimes supporting a small town business can really bite you in the rear!!! I know you also can get a thermostat for $200 at O’Rileys and it only takes two hours max to change a thermostat. NOT 768 DOLLARS WORTH!!!! Super disappointing and really sad.

I went in to hardman auto repair shop to get a second opinion and they were honest and fair explained everything vary well. I highly recomend!!

Tried to charge my gf 700$ to change a thermostat. Told her it would take 3/4 if a day to get the air out of the system. Trying to take advantage of women.

The best auto care service I have so far experienced. They took the time to answer my questions without rushing. They were polite and courteous. From now on I will recommend this auto shop.

These are some classy gents! Fair and honest! VERY TRUSTWORTHY. You trust your barber when cutting your hair. Then Trust these mechanics when fixing your car!

Dale and Brian just completed a much needed service on my truck to repair several issues that had me sidelined on Grandview Rd while pulling my trailer with my horse inside. They also found some more old truck problems that could have caused another breakdown, explained everything that needed to be attended to, didn’t scold me for not taking better care of things. Now the truck feels so much more trustworthy.Thank you for your attention to detail and communication ability as well as mechanical skills.

The Hardmans have taken care of all our cars since they took over Daves Rolling stock several years ago. They are men of integrity and always go above and beyond. They never give exaggerated estimates and always do a great job in a timely manner. Thanks guys!

One of the best repair services I have ever had. These guys made room in their busy schedule to help me out with my broken axle. Afterwards we discovered that wasnt the only issue, and instead of brushing it off to get on with their day they continued to work on my car until the problem was taken care of. They involved me in the diagnostics and showed me the damaged parts- something I really love in a mechanic. I feel I received fair prices, and was treated with honesty and kindness. I will be returning for all of my car care needs.

I was very impressed on the phone before I even took my van in. I immediately could tell I was talking to a family man whos heart was in his job. I found Hardman Auto Care to be very different and refreshing! They cared about my comfort while I was waiting and took great care of my car. While looking for a 2nd opinion on a would be $1,600 issue, I found this place and WOW! All I can say is thank God for down to earth and honest people in this world! All of my business will go here from now on!

It was the best experience I have ever had with an auto mechanic.My wifes Volvo had a tricky, hard to find issue with the fuel pump and they went above and beyond their duty and took PERSONAL time to diagnose the problem.They took their own off duty personal time to properly weed out the problem and not just assume its a faulty pump (the most expensive option).In the end they found the real issue (faulty electrical relay switch) which was about $700 less than what most mechanics would have done (replace the fuel pump).These guys have earned my business hands down.

My family and I have been going to Daves Rollingstock for years. No matter what the problem with our vehicles is, Brian Hardman is the first one we call. The service is always excellent, the prices are reasonable, and Brian and Dales honesty and integrity resounds in the quality work they put forth.
