I love this shop, their not trying to get one over on you and trying to make a buck, they want to HELP you. I took my Cooper in with rear end issues and Lance figured out a way to help me and gave me a loner car to get around in. I get a very mom and pop vibe from the mechanics here and Im happy to say I have found a trustworthy mechanic who knows what hes doing. Our 2017 Ford F3 pickup would not start and we tried to get it in at Bellingham Ford and they could not get it in until September 28th and we were in an RV park in Birch Bay. I called roadside assistance they could not find anyone local so I got on the Internet and picked the 1st one that had a good rating which was Axton automotive. They told us to get it to them they would diagnose it that day and we would go from there. Turned out to be bad batteries they replaced our batteries gave us a loaner car while they had our truck. My husband went and picked it up at 4:30 and we were on our way. Could not ask for more personable and professional service if you have a problem with your vehicle go to Axton automotive and talk to Lance, he was very reassuring and made sure that we were taken care of!

When I started the car the door chime and lights wouldnt turn off couldnt lock it or open a window !! Mad as heck I flew past this garage slammed on breaks and turned around and Glad I did!great service and a smile who would have thought took care of me right away and I was grateful to be able to have it fixed so quickly and within a budget thank you and we shall come back to replace that wire connections thanks again Jim and Deric let me know when youre not so busy.

They fixed all the problems with my car and werent pushy on the ones I could not afford. Thats very rare today to find. They even helped us with advice with my sons truck which looks like he blew the engine on it. Very knowledgeable Im very reliable with integrity. Highly recommended.

Brought my town and country to get the water drained from the car. Quick and easy- happy with the price. Great staff, showed me how to do it myself if the scenario happens again. I normally dont write reviews, but this was a great experience for someone who switched from a private mechanic to a company.

I always hate getting my car worked on. Why? I dont trust that the repairs will be done right and that the costs will get jacked up. How many times have I been given a price for a repair only to find that it is 25% more for all the shop fees. UHG...But, I finally found a mechanic I trust -- Jim at Axton Auto. Jim was straight with me. He told me exactly what the car needed and was honest about the entire cost. He listed all the repairs, the cost of each, and explained why it should be done. And his rates were more than fair. When I picked up the car, the bill wasnt filled with nickel and dime shop fees to jack up the price. He fixed my car, it runs the better than it has in years, and his charges were fair. What more could you ask? But more importantly, I trust that Jim treated me fairly and was honest with me.

It took my vehicle in yesterday to get it checked out. It stalled on me last week when I was driving. Jim took the time to run some tests on it then take it for a test drive. He said it passed all tests and was running great. He said if it happened again I could bring it in and leave it for several days, hed drive it around and see if it happened while he was driving it. He didnt charge me anything for this. It gave me piece of mind and an honest place to take my vehicle in the future as I need maintenance and repairs. Thank you for taking the time Jim, I really appreciate it!

I brought my 2005 Buick Allure in to check a long outstanding trouble light issue that appeared to be associated with my car stalling. Jim could not find error codes and patiently asked me a number of questions to help him determine the issue which in his experience he felt was related to my Crankshaft Position Sensor or my ICM. As I could not leave it with him for further testing as I live in Canada I drove home and the next day the car promptly got worse with several stalls in traffic that was quite dangerous. Unfortunately, because of the distance involved I was not able to bring it back to Axton but his diagnosis was right on the money. I replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the car is running fine now. Thank you for your great service and for your very reasonable diagnostic fees.

Had a minor shimmy in the front end. Called, talked to Kirk. When asked I told him I got his info from a local senior center of which Im a member. Told him I have only a disability income. Immediately quoted hourly rates. Didnt offer to drive the car, didnt offer to just put it on the rack and do a front end (not alignment) inspection, which nearly every front end place will do for free. Just hourly rates. Without even driving the car to feel if the problem is major or minor or what it even might be.Ive noticed the shops out here are greedy, miserly, wont even open a hood without quoting a rate. Back in the Midwest, not nearly so much. A lot of the time people there will offer to at least look at it without quoting prices for diagnosis.Big clue, diagnosing a shimmy starts with driving a car and Im not going to pay someone emergency room prices while theyre driving my car around.Forget about that card hanging up in the senior center guys, looks like it might have gotten lost. But oh, if you want it put back up itll be $90/hr to do.

I just moved close to Axton Automotive and went there to get my oil changed today. I waited inside while they worked on my car and all I can say is good things about this place. The owner was so pleasant and nice and just listening to him making phone calls to other customers put a smile on my face. The man who worked on my car was also very nice and because of this I will be returning. I have never experienced this while dealing with an automotive shop. I would recommend them to anyone! Great people.

My car broke down close to there a few years ago and I have been working with them regularly since then on a few different vehicles. They have been wonderful to work with, I have always been happy with the work. They make suggestions on work that should be done but never pressure me. I highly recommend them.

First class operation! I took my recently purchased used pickup in for a number of problems and have them give it a once-over. They provided a very complete estimate of the issues and only found 1 additional part needed after taking things apart ($22 part no labor). Communication was excellent and detailed. I chose Axton based on reviews. These wonderful people far exceeded my expectations and would be my only recommendation for auto service in Whatcom County. The 2 year warranty was a nice bonus.

Great service and knowledgable mechanics, had some work done for my grandmother and they took good care of the car for a great price. After listening & hearing my story, although they were booked for the day, they still got my car in & got it done quickly. My radiator cracked & was spraying all over my engine. I had taken the day off to find someone & everyone else I called prior was also booked up!Im glad Axton saw a need to fit me in!The mechanic also washed off my engine & checked hoses & clamps. Went in thinking it was going to be an expensive fix (tie rod issue) but was told all I needed were new tires. They then pointed me to the best tire/alignment shop and didnt charge me a thing! Appreciate that AASR! Ill be back...

Very honest crew like the good guys in a western movie. I had my SUV towed to Axton for missfire and they diagnosed the problem to be valve tubes leaking and fixed it fast. They also suggested other avenues to take regarding my transmission problem. I was able to drive it home and at a good pricepoint. I do reccomend their service.
